Hi Neighbors. You should give this place a try! It’s pleasantly good. I lived in Thailand before and was surprised their menu had so many authentic options. We tried yellow curry, larb, and basil crispy chicken. They were all tasty and also authentic. Give it a try! You’ll like it.

The pumpkin curry was SO GOOD! Definitely a place I'll return to. The staff was very attentive as well. Wished I had taken a photo as the dish was so yummy looking!

My wife loves the Yum Woon Sen which she says is the closest recipe to what she remembers having in Thailand. I go for the Stir Fried Eggplant; a common entree at all Thai restaurants but Thai Express’ recipe is unmatched. Well, you’ve convinced me, I’m going there for lunch today👌🏼

Went in randomly on a rainy afternoon, the customer service was excellent. The clerks, whom I assume were most likely the owners were sitting down and having their lunch break. The lady was kid enough to stop mid meal and get my meal going right away once I decided what I wanted. Ordered the drunken noodle and I will say I was pleasantly satisfied. The meal came out fast and I was on my way within 3 or 4 minutes. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, not soggy. The noodles and sauce were tasty and they matched my spice request perfectly. Great food, would recommend!

Quite a locally owned hidden gem.
I usually avoid places that say express but
I stopped in just because I saw the older shop keeper working hard to set up for the day.
Give this spot a try. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Wow! Wow! WOW! I am in love with this place!! The family who runs it are so sweet and so kind. When I moved to Oregon I fell in love with Thai Cuisine, this place does it right!! I am trying to work my way through the menu but my absolute favorites are the Yellow and Green Curry with beef. Or the Pad Thai! Their salad rolls are HUGE and FRESH!! There is not a bad bite of food here!!

I ordered drunken noodles and salad rolls, the older gentleman at the register was so friendly. He noticed my baby chewing on a fork and brought her a spoon instead 🥺

The only thai place worth going to in Oregon City imo. Their Pad See Ew is amazing and they DELIVER when I ask for spicy! I wish I had gotten his name, but I had explained to an older fellow who works there that I am often denied my order of hot or extra hot at thai places because they don't think I can handle it. He gave me a sly smile and said, "Oh, we can make you cry." That meal did and I loved it and the flavour was still phenomenal. My favourite place to go to, my only complaint is they're not open on sundays. But I have gone out of my way many times to get a meal from here because it is my favourite spot in the area ✨️

Didn’t even have things that were offered on menu ….. asked for condiments (teriyaki sauce ) and was told they were out . Just figure if you specialize and offer stuff on menu it should be available.

Most authentic thia, I was in south Korea and Okinawa Japan and these people do it right. Personally recommend pad this won Sen and also the green curry (dish good for 2)

We did not order before arrival and the wait was about 15 to 20 minutes. It was not fast food. Instead, the ingredients were fresh and the meal was amazingly delicious. I have not had this good of Thai food in a long time. Next time I go, I definitely will call in the order first because I'm impatient. . Big compliments deserved for friendliness and big compliments to the Cook.

Love them...I like it HOT and the cook hasn't let me down yet when I say 5***** she makes it five star not like all the other places that just smile and say "ok" then it's not even mild/medium...portions are good, they are a family ran business and always nice and happy, my Thai food of choice I will go out of my way to eat here...thank you guys. 🤙🏽

All chairs up so to go only. Ordered#25 steamed veggies in peanut sauce and #36 yellow curry. Everything very hot (temp) and fresh but the #25 came with 1very small sampler of peanut sauce, not enough to even give a 1x taste! Had to ask for utensils and napkins. Rather small serving of rice between the 2 of us; a second rice box was included but was removed by the owner at checkout "this is not yours". There were no other customers at the time so go figure.

Ordered to go and received only part of my order, then she sat there arguing with me that I did receive everything and answered the phone mid conversation. Great customer service guess you really needed that $6 HAHA

Good food and the owners are nice, but they're understaffed. Make sure to have them repeat the order, otherwise your looking at double your wait time.

The quintessential "hole in the wall" with some real gems on the menu. I've eaten several of their dishes and have come away impressed more often than not. The avocado curry (when it's available) is my go-to dish. There isn't much fanfare and the dining room is bare bones which lends charm to a fun date night. The prices are reasonable and if you order takeout, you can hit a nearby park in the summer for an outdoor picnic. As an added bonus, the establishment is family owned and operated so patrons are supporting local community by dining here.

Bright, friendly venue with a large choice is dishes. Many items can be made vegetarian. The peanut sauce for the salad rolls has just the right amount of heat, though that's just my opinion.

The food was really bad. My dish was covered with a flavorless cornstarch "gravy" that was really kind of disgusting. The noodles were so overcooked that they would dissolve when I tried to pick them up with my fork. I should have read the other recent reviews before coming here.

I ordered the chicken pad thai. Sauce was not good, pretty bland, and some of my chicken was ice cold on the inside. I got through half the plate before finding the cold chicken, and i complained. Staff was very friendly, offered to remake the food, and when i refused because i was in a rush, they only charged half price. I would give them 5 stars for hospitality, but unfortunately, the food carries a greater weight when it come to a restaurant. 2 stars, not going back unfortunately.

The only reason why this place doesnt get 5 stars is because it is a little dingy.

Nice little shop, helpful staff. I'm disappointed in the salad roll made with shredded iceberg lettuce wrapping rice. I was hoping for something filling or nutritional but alas, this is neither.

I order massaman curry with pork every time I come here and I'm always happy I do. The food is great I had some salad rolls and those are great also, good service.

The food is really good. Simple, homemade and friendly service. I had the avocado red curry and fried rice with Thai sausage. Everything is made to order and they have a big menu.

Love Thai Express! Comfy little diner with wonderful friendly service. The food has been outstanding both times I have been in and I definitely plan to return! The restaurant is clean and there are plenty of tables, condiments are available for your specific taste as well, I was impressed with the variety they offer!

I have eaten here for several years but have decided to stop. The quality of the food is just too inconsistent. One day they are the best Thai place in the Portland metro, the next they are serving me rotten shrimp. It's sad because it used to be great but you can never rely on then putting out quality food anymore.

Just went here for lunch and WOW!! Don't judge a place by it's appearance! Their decor leaves something to be desired, the service was fair, but the flavor of the food! I ordered the Shrimp Salad Rolls with the peanut sauce and the Yellow Chicken Curry. The shrimp in the rolls was fresh as well as the other ingredients, and the flavor of the curry was just outstanding! It was about $18 in total, but I have enough left over to take to work for lunch! Definitely coming back to this little gem!

Stopped by for lunch and had the spicy eggplant with tofu. The food and service was very good and the portions were large enough for a second meal later. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again.

Good family-owned restaurant, we got food pretty fast. They are nice in there, kinda busy, but still good. It is a little small, but at the same time it was still a good experience.

Was hesitant to try after bad reviews, but the food was great. It does run on the spicy side, but I like that.

Food was good, service was something to be desired. Service was fast, but not personal at all. Good for a quick bite.

The coconut milk they put in their soup was stretched with regular cow's milk because I'm lactose intolerant and as soon as I got back home I was back and forth in the bathroom for an hour. I called them and they denied putting cow's milk in the soup but trust me they did. Coconut milk does not bother me whatsoever and I know what cow's milk does to me and this was the same exact body response. I won't go into detail, people who are lactose intolerant know the horrible cramping and pain etc. I had to have my wife run to the store and purchase lactase immediately. I'm getting over it now. Beware.

Not bad at all. I've had a lot of Pad Thai at various Thai joints and theirs is quite good. However, I always get takeout. The restaurant is a bit on the scary side and the service leaves much to be wanted.
