Great Thai! Beautiful clean restaurant. Friendly service and very flavorful food with a large menu to choose from. One of our new favorites in Eugene!

We had a great experience at Ta Ra Rin Thai Cuisine! The food was absolutely delicious, and everything we tried was full of flavor. Our server was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed.

The only small downside was that we wished there had been a bit more beef on our plates, especially considering how tasty it was! But overall, we really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great Thai food and excellent service.

We pulled up one late afternoon with a large group of around 20 people. It was very spacious and empty inside so we were able to be seated quickly. They served us quickly as well too.

The Thai food here is quite good and very well portioned too. That's definitely what I expect from a good Thai place. Definitely recommend this place.

The service is also always super friendly & accommodating. The Coburg Rd location tends to be more convenient for me so I go there more often, but the Oak St location is equally terrific.

Stopped for a quick lunch on our drive back to Seattle. Great tasting food at a reasonable price and the restaurant has nice interiors. Our server was very professional and serviced us very well. We ordered Thai noodle soup and a crispy basil garden. The portions are very generous.

Tom Yum Noodle Soup was not that ok. Parking was sufficient, upon seating it took a while for someone to take our order. The other meals were just ok. Maybe for others the taste will work but not for me.

The food is always amazing. I especially like they’re fresh salad rolls with peanut sauce and Pra Rahm. The servers at Oak Street and the Springfield locations go above and beyond. Wouldn’t say that the Coburg staff is unfriendly here, but not filling up water glasses or asking if we needed anything else did show a lack in customer care.

Excellent and very healthy Thai food! Curries were loaded with fresh veggies and not overly sweet like many Thai restaurants.

I love Thai food. I really wanted to love this place. But, it's not my favorite one in town. The service was good and the server was incredibly nice and informative. The cocktails are good too. Price is fair, and the quality is good. I do plan to eat here again. Try a few more things. One disappointment was I had called ahead and asked about gluten free options as I have celiac disease, and was told almost everything on the menu except fried items are gluten free. But after getting there and ready to order I was informed that that was not the case. But they still had quite a few options just not as much as I was lead to believe. Still very accommodating and I always appreciate a restaurant willing to keep people safe.

Tasty food.

The only complaint that I have is rather very small, it isn't spicy enough for my Indian taste buds. Besides that EVERYTHING about this restaurant is amazing.

Didn't like my fried rice at all. Was dry and didn't have flavor. Was not enough vegetables or eggs. But mango curry was Good. For now this restaurant is at the end of my list of tararins

My chicken was clearly microwaved - could taste it. Otherwise everything else was good with a fun play list at just the right volume. All good in my opinion.

Good food and great service!

This is my go-to for Thai. The food is really good, I only get take-out (so take that into account when I say the service is five starts), and I'm not there for the atmosphere. I like the old standards of Phad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Spring Rolls . . . all really solid and yummy. I've never had a really negative experience, and look forward to the next visit.

First time at this location. Same high quality food. However, the amosphere was less cozy than at the Mohawk location.

Delicious, great service. Coming into it from a strip mall and walking in you would never expect it to be so beautiful and new! The food is always amazing and the people even more.

I got the chicken teriyaki plate. Came with steamed carrots, broccoli and cabbage. Side of jasmine rice.

It took an hour for anyone to come to our table to take our drink order and another 45 minutes to receive food. Also, the waitress did not come back at all and we had to wave at her to get a refill or inform her we were missing part of our order. I used to love this place, however, clearly the management style has changed. We were told the credit card system was down and college students dined and dashed. The waiters said, “oh well”.

We waited over two hours in house for our food… I even made a reservation two weeks in advance that they didn’t have properly written down. I even called the day before to check in. I won’t be coming back. It’s a shame because I really used to like it here.

My second time eating Thai food in the area. I cooked at Mekala's when it was at the 5th Street Public Market. I ordered the Massaman with Beef Lunch Special. We would cook it like a Beef Stew. Long and slow. Tenderize that beef. Thai places these days give you all the protein options. Beef cut for stir fry did not do so well in the curry today. I did enjoy my meal, a lot of onions and potatoes. Nice guy sat and served us. An understated decor rounds out an overall very good experience. My brother ate the Red Curry with Chicken. He liked it. A little busy during lunch. A good thing.

Love Ta Ra Rin in general. This was my first time at this location. The atmosphere is very bland. Service was ok. Only 1 server for most of the restaurant. Food is always amazing. Ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken spicy fried rice, Pots of gold and Tempura Shrimp and vegetables. Everything was good except the shrimp and vegetables. It came with onion as the only vegetable. I would recommend because the food is so good!

I ordered a stir fry dish that has a peanut sauce.
The sauce was literally skippy peanut butter.

It tasted really bad.
Would not recommend ordering.
Very disappointed as I work next door and usually eat there

I called to make sure I could get a table for my friend's birthday dinner, the lady on the phone assured me that we would get one if I showed up by 8:45. I raced over to get there and arrived at 8:40. Arrived and they said takeout only and wouldn't seat us! Told the guy in the front the story and still refused to seat us. Made sure I called the right number and indeed it was correct. By that time it was 8:50 and we had no other choice but to order takeout for my friends birthday! Had we know we couldn't be seated we would have went to somewhere we could have been. The food was also very disappointing. Didn't offer anything for thr false information from one of their employees. All around bad experience.

The sample platter is full of yummy fried things. My main dish from the specials menu wasn't as good as other entrées I've had from here. Friend said the ribs were the best he's ever had. I've loved their red curry.

It is actually spicy when you request it. Very good service

The waitstaff were fantastic and the food was actually almost without flaw. Delicious. I had the garlic noodles with beef and ginger. Not a huge fan of rice so I opted for the rice noodles. My only suggestion is if serving the rice noodles as a side serve in a more shallow dish or dash a tiny bit of oil so they don't stick as much as they cool. My friend chose the chicken satay, which I usually find boring at Thai restaurants but it was just delicious and infused with flavor. The peanut sauce was a perfect creamy uncomplicated sauce. My friend had the catfish, which also is not ever a go to for me, but it was just wonderful.
I found this location, from service to food tastes far exceeding its sibling in downtown Eugene. Finally something to make errands on Coburg tolerable ha! It was a great experience. Thank you.
Additionally I need to add the portions are very generous so the value was noted!

The restaurant was very well staffed and our server was excellent. I had the Sizzling Duck, first time I have ever tried duck and was very pleased with the portion and the flavor. Neither my friend nor I finished our meal and I would recommend sharing an entree and plan in ordering a dessert and appetizer. Prices are fair with post covid inflation and it made for a very nice location to enjoy great food while feeling catching up with a good friend.

Best Pad Thai and Spicy Basil Fried Rice is town!!!

Ta Ra Rin is a great Thai restaurant. The Coburg Road location is very convenient and the food is just as good as their downtown spot. The service here is exceptionally quick. Everything is good, from the stir fries, to the curries, to the noodle dishes. I think this is the best place to eat north of Oakway Center right now.

Huge menu, something for everybody, Sake too.

Wonderful spot for lunch and dinner! The hosts are friendly and professional, and if your in a smaller group sit at the bar the bartenders are amazing.

Had massaman curry, added sautéed eggplant. Best I’ve ever had.

Started off with a gimlet while i waited for my dinner. The pots of gold was fried to perfection and was so light and crisp. I usually go for the pad thai which is always a solid choice but i decided to go with pad kee mao this time. The noodles and vegetables were well seasoned and a little on the spicy side but not too overpowering. Ta Ra Rin is always hits the spot when I’m craving Thai.

Huge portions without compromising flavor or quality. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a gem while passing through! I have eaten a fair amount of pad see ew and pad Thai in many cities, and I think Tararin competes with many of my favorite Thai restaurants in much larger cities. Definitely plan to return on any trip to or through Eugene!

Take out. Our first Shrimp pad Thai. We had 5 1/2 shrimp. Called and the manager tried to explain that I was making a mistake, and how to count correctly. Very disappointing meal. They lost a repeat customer

For some odd reason, the food at the original restaurant is better. Also the ambiance and service. No waiting at this one, though. This is a mall restaurant and the one in Eugene is stand alone.

Haven't had Thai food in a while. This was a good place to dip back in with lots of options on the menu. Very clean. Friendly and attentive staff.

The person at the reception is good to work with and he cracks cheerful jokes with all customers. Order placement was fast though it took almost half and hot for order to get ready. Food tastes good though , it is lot of liquid purie and very little food pieces that disappoints. May be recession is causing the meat pieces to disappear leaving just the liquid. Unless an improvement in honesty happens it will be difficult for me to visit this place again or recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed the foods we'll come back again to try their other dishes.

Best Thai place in Eugene area. Upscale Thai place so prices are around $15 and up. That being said everything on their menu is excellent and I would say that there isn't a wrong choice. The other Thai places in the area usually have one or two good items but this one all the curry, stir fry, noodles, soups and more are excellent. (They offer tofu, chicken, pork and more with each dish)

Amazing tastes and surprisingly affordable. Fresh ingredients and the right mix of vegetarian options was very helpful. Choose your own protein was a change. We enjoyed the Ginger Ginger Salmon and a traditional Pad Tai. Didn't leave hungry and had leftovers! Only blemish was the musical choice. Will be back again.

Tried the Coburg Rd one. Had no idea it was there, and usually go to the one on Oak. Glad we found it since it's closer! I had the lemon grass curry, mild! Excellent! Noodles, veggies, best chicken ever and generous portion. My husband had Pad Kee Mao medium spice. He loved his to! We had the same last week on Oak St. It was so good we had at the Coburg Rd. Great service to! Thank you!

Arrived at the restaurants and was greeted by " what can we do for you " got sat at table.. had menus.. no water was delivered. waitress finally comes over and asks have you been helped yet we go no.. we place our order about 15 20 minutes later our food arrives.. the food was luke warm. but get this we had too ask for silverware and napkins. silver ware and napkins in a restaurant. the food is average and service is horrible. with Eugene having 50 thai food places id skip this one..

Best curry in Eugene. I had my usual massaman and my friends had the green curry with chicken and the pineapple with beef. We also had amazing fried springrolls

This was my first time eating at Tararin at this location and the food and service was all great. I had Pad Kee Mao, and the serving size was large and cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend!
