Pioneers of Thai food in Eugene Since 2004. Massaman curry like no other. Penaut Sauce curry , Eggplant and more.
Sunday 630 pm very short drive off I5, walked in and no one here enjoying dinner, almost all reviews are favorable, the gentleman serving was very knowledgeable, they don’t have a huge selection of gluten free items, in this case he was honest and upfront, which was good enough for me, we went with the chicken pad Thai , I heard them cooking it in the back, so I know it was decently fresh. The real test is the taste and quality. The atmosphere was great. Good music, great selection of plants, and really cool budhas and golden figures through out. The kids ages 5 and 7 didn’t like the pad Thai, I thought it was fantastic. My final thought, great location, excellent food, good service , ok prices, if you have picky gluten free kids , skip it, everyone else should have a favorable experience!
Immediately upon entering you can smell their delicious menu. As a aspiring vegan their tofu options are delicious! Amazing service, no need to double check the food, go order 🙏
This was a new restaurant for us, and it was excellent, very date-worthy. My Chicken Laarb salad was fantastic, and this is one of the few places in Eugene with a good ambiance. We will definitely be back. They were very good at explaining ingredients for dietary restrictions.
Staff was welcoming when we arrived. Everything on the menu looked very good. I ordered fresh rolls, they came out with the meal, instead of as an appetizer. My friends had the cashew chicken (I think I will try it next time), a chicken salad (it looked absolutely amazing) and I had the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. Seasoning is good, fresh veggies make a great meal. Portions are superb! You will have leftovers! Looking forward to going back and trying something else there....the pineapple curry caught my eye, it sounds wonderful.
This is literally my favorite restaurant! They have the best Thai food in town and the best vegan/vegetarian options! More people need to discover this place! Impeccable service!
We have been here a couple of times and tried different things each time. The Pineapple curry is delicious (really we haven't had a curry there we didn't like). The service is good, although it has been pretty quiet whenever we have been there.

I travel a lot for work and to my disappointment, not a single Thai place in my travels has measured up to Manola's when it comes to their pad thai and Massaman curry. When I'm away and my wife is feeling down, I order Manola's for delivery to be sent to her. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The coconut milk soup is really good
lane county’s best traditional thai food. if you’re looking for a more modern take on thai, this might not be your place, as what manolas offers is tried and true genuinely flavorful dishes. the level of consistency over the years is inspiring, prices are good considering portion sizes and the atmosphere of the restaurant is full of mirrors & intricately detailed decorations, making for a great dining experience along with your meal. make sure you get a thai iced tea!
I'm a grub hub driver and they refused to let me use the restroom as I waited for 5 minutes.
Ordered pad thai with chicken and veggies for my partner and I to share. Total came to $21 and when I asked for an extra set of chopsticks they advised they only give 1 with a meal and I advised them that we are sharing it and they said that would be .50 extra. I had paid with card and another.50 plus a transaction fee on top seemed so petty on their part. I won't be back here again. This is such poor customer care and service.
One of the nicest owners I’ve ever met. Very involved in his business and it shows!
Great food, with fair pricing.
When I'm craving Thai food that hasn't been so Americanized, this is where I order from. Manola's is the best *Authentic* Thai food in the area. If you've been around long enough to remember Mekala's, it was the heart and soul of Mekala's that opened Manola's. (Meaning, the part of the family that operated the kitchen and whose recipes have been handed down through the family for generations). Their massaman curry is the best around, all their curries are divine, but the massaman is Thai soul food. The spices and chilis they use are authentic to Thailand, not weak like mayo. If you're not sure what to order, ask what the family would have themselves and you're sure to get a good rec.

If you come here as a food delivery person, don't expect to be treated with kindness. The owner will treat you like a vagrant if you try to use his restrooms. I guess he doesn't understand that I am the proxy for his customer and shouldn't be made to feel bad or prevented from using the restroom like every other patron.
Seems every other establishment seems to get it but him.
Arguably the best drunken noodle chicken I've ever had. Whoop whoop. This place never disappoints....
Tasty Thai standards.
Food was delicious and great service!
Food , service and atmosphere were good. Good location close to U of O. I would come back
Best Thai food I've ever had
It's good but not that good considering the price. My curry was watery and the vegetables in it were cut in huge pieces. They were also still pretty firm, although the flavor was nice. The salad rolls didn't have enough veggies and the peanut sauce didn't have a lot of peanut flavor. There are much better options in Eugene, I'd recommend trying those out before this.
Been living in Eugene for 4 years and I love the food here, I come by a few times a month! Delicious food, good service, and beautiful restaurant. Very glad to have found this place!
First time ordering take out. I got home 20 minutes away and realized I was short one of the dishes. It was after closing so I went the next day with receipt in hand. They told me I had left it on the counter so they gave it to an employee. Since it was my fault, no refund and no replacement unless I pay again. The food we did eat was good so we decided that, in spite of not being given a refund or replacement, we would order some rice and a boba tea. The boba tea was made incorrectly. But rather than complain, we just left. Will not be eating here again.
So rude I never even got to the ordering there are many other much friendlier Thai restaurants in Eugene I recommend trying any of them first
I would try the food here as a customer, but they don’t let delivery drivers use the bathroom so instead i go to Ta Ra Rin :/
Lovely restaurant. Wonderful food. Staff friendly and helpful.
Updating my rating. Meatball soup is amazing, definitely in the top 10% thai places I have ever tried.
Update 2023: Name of soup is Kwaiteau Naam with chicken meatballs, not on menu anymore but they will make it if you ask. Absolutely delicious.
Absolutely beautiful place with wonderful food!!
Very nice place to eat. Great food, friendly staff, and great decor.
There is much better thai out there. I did a pick up order of pad see ew and mango sticky rice… nah bro. The rice for the mango sticky rice is just bad, a generous amount of mango though. The noodles were wayyyy overcooked like they were just falling apart; there was plenty of chicken, but the broccoli was super undercooked, basically raw. They did listen and gave me medium spice that had my mouth tingling, which was nice, but I wont eat here again. Not horrible but just definitely not worth it.
Best pad Thai we’ve had in Eugene. Compared to the other highest rated spot Manola’s has a flavor that cuts through. Hits the spot every time. Try the drunken noodles too 🤘🏼
Fresh, tasty food! Got a bunch of options made vegan: fresh spring rolls with tofu, Thai iced tea, spicy peanut sauce stir fry with tofu! Great friendly, fast service and the place was very clean! Awesome to find a place that can accommodate vegans and omnivores!!
Delicious food, but be sure to ask for no spice if you’re sensitive to spice. If you don’t clarify it is HOT 🥵
Their peanut curry is amazing! The curry sauce is just the right amount of spicy for me. The tofu is delicious, so firm and flavorful.
The person who took my order offered to include a piece of tempeh in with the order so I could try it and see if I would like it, and it was equally delicious.
The service was fast and pricing is good.
I will definitely patronize this restaurant again.
LOVED the Seaweed Soup. Its healthy and appetizing. I would highly recommend this establishment to Savvy downtowners AND out of towners!
Excellent, scrumptious... what adjectives could even begin to describe. I live in Roseburg, an hour + away and stop and load up every time I go to Eugene if I can. $100 +/- on POT STICKERS, SALAD ROLLS, Spring Rolls, Coconut ice cream (I always eat that in the car. after waiting ½ hour after ordering...they have no dining in...delivery or pick-up only.) And the salad with noodles, coconut cream, pineapple and chicken....I gotta' go and have another helping. Note : I have only tried one or two main entrées...all excelent but I don't recall specifically what the dishes were. I am in love with appetizers, salad, etc. Check out the menu online, order and it will tell you how long you have to wait to pick up, etc. 😋
Super friendly amazing quality food perfect mix of spicy and flavor will be back many more times
They don’t let folks eat inside just take out or delivery
Manolas Thai is truly the most overlooked Thai restaurant in Eugene. Their fresh vegetables and flavors are so amazing; I always feel my soul is being fed as well as my tastebuds. You must try. My favorites: panang curry, pumpkin curry, spicy fresh basil, and cashew chicken.
They have the BEST peanut curry sauce. I drive from Salem to buy it. I cannot find anywhere else that has it as good as Manolas. Can you please give me the receipe HAHA🤣. Honestly tho, please make this peanut sauce available to buy in stores.🙏❤
I am NEVER disappointed. Their food is such high quality and their service is great. Their thai iced tea is some of the best I have ever had.
Worst taste is Thai food I ever had. Unbelievable!! How cod someone cook this much bad food ?....literally NO TASTE at all ( don't worry, I don't have covid)
Ridiculous!
Friendly and fast
By far one of my faborites in Eugene. Highly reccomend the appetizers!
Best Massaman I have ever had!
Best Food Ever, ever, EVER. Manolas stays true to the roots of Thai culture and relentlessly chefs up the MOST flavorful, consistent stunning food quality every time I order food there. This restaurant is really a gem of the world when it comes to family tradition Thai cooking. I used to work at the restaurant and they did everything the right way. The grandmother of the family would cook the best curry hands down I have ever had, no fancy bs, grandmothers Thai cooking, hearty to the bone. They have the best Thai iced tea ever here and the best salad rolls in the world.
My favorite restaurant for vegetarian options. The food and sauces taste incredible and are always prepared perfectly.
Not only is the green curry the BEST I have ever eaten, but when a mistake was made in a delivery of our order, the folks at the restaurant went out of their way to make it right. So impressed with the food and the service. Thank you!
My husband student told us his Uncle owns this restaurant. We had to try it and OMG it is now one of our top 5 places in Eugene to Eat. We love supporting local business and are so happy we found Manola’s.
We order 1 stars but next time we will increase the heat.
Chicken and Steak were both moist and full of flavor. (No breading) so we were happy.
Love love love this place!!!!
We will be back again. You have made it to our top 5 plus a new one rotation weekends.
My wife and I just had a very delicious dinner thanks to Manola’s Thai Cuisine! The food was very flavorful, filling, and spicy! We will be having Thai food again, and it will be Manola’s!
So, so good! We loved all the thick cut veggies in the entrees and the Thai fried rice. We ordered delivery and it was super quick. We will definitely be eating here again soon!
Very good food
Not good to be honest. The veggie delight was $13 and consists mainly of tomato celery and pineapple. Just a very strange strange combo. My friend didn’t really like the thom yum either.
Manola's has become a regular go to! Great pad kee mao and pad see ew! Good portion sizes (though I wish adding extra noodles wasn't so expensive) and great food for a decent cost. Will definitely stay a regular in my rotation for the forseeable future!
Over the last five years, this used to be one of our favorite restaurants. They are no longer a place that we would recommend. They have left items off of our order the last 3 times in a row now. Their website menu no longer matches the restaurant menu, so be careful when ordering! They have become a huge disappointment.
First time trying them tonight and it was so good. We have tried every Thai place in town and this is our new favorite. The menu has just about everything you could want. They were really nice about our substitutions we wanted. We had to do takeout because of quarantine and all that and usually I wouldn’t order fried food because it’s gets soggy but I really wanted fried calamari. They were smart and didn’t close the lid so it stayed crispy until we got home. Everyone absolutely loved their food it was seasoned perfectly and just the right amount of spice we requested. All the to go boxes where packed carefully and separately. No spills, no leaking sauce, no soggy noodles like we get at other places. Great attention to detail! Can’t wait to go back!
Best Thai in town!
Nice little restaurant, cute decor.
Delicious food! There was this tofu appetizer that was soooooo good. I also enjoyed some Pineapple thai curry.
Wonderful food with great service. We have been here a few times and we will be back.
They've delivered to me three times in the past and then charge me an extra ten bucks cuz I'm 0.9 Mi out of there delivery range occasionally when I call they just told me that they can't deliver to me at all which is what just happened now too inconsistent just make your mind up and then she tried to tell me that I never got food from this place before when I've gotten food from it many times they just need to get their story straight what a mess
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the outside, but the inside was clean and presentable. The prices were very reasonable and I felt that the quantity received was very good for the price.
Presentation of the food was well done and the flavors were good. I think there could be more pop to the flavors but I was not dissatisfied.
My only real negative comment was that the bathroom. Very dilapidated, and tiny.
This is my favorite Thai cuisine in Eugene. The food, drinks and staff are great!
JUST ATE THERE I LIKED IT THE PEOPLE WERE NICE AND RESPECTFUL
First time trying Thai , love it and great service.
First time visit...recommended by a friend. Food was really good. Some creative options that I haven't seen other places. Comfortable atmosphere. Service was excellent.
Usually always get the pad thai which is so delicious but wanted to try the curry. So tasty! Wow best pineapple curry better than the ones I've had and I've tried all the thai restaurants with pineapple curry. So delicious wow!
Good food!
Great place, always been my go to near campus for the salad rolls and stir fried broccoli...highly recommended!
Hands down best Thai food in Eugene. Hot and sour soup, and shrimp pad Thai is always spot on!
Food is so good!!
Oh so good!!! Staff was amazing and friendly too.
Amazing thai food! Pineapple curry and Massaman are incredible! As well as the ghai satay!
Wasn't the best Thai I have had but wasn't bad. At the time of my visit they did not have AC... The hostess was friendly.
Grilled Chicken, Curry ...
This is really delicious.
Went here for the first time and boy was I impressed! I've been trying all the Thai places in town and this one is by far my favorite. I ordered the peanut sauce curry with tofu with angel hair noodles and my friend got the pineapple shrimp pad Thai. The food was very euthentic and fresh. The atmosphere is very nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Great food full of flavor.
Clean and comfortable restaurant, great service but overpriced. Be warned...when they ask how much spice you want use caution.
Maybe we were given the wrong menu, but this was the most expensive Thai food I've ever purchased, and I've purchased a LOT of Thai food. The spice was good, but the food itself was pretty bland. I think they also use frozen tofu. There are plenty of better choices in Eugene.
Delightful, flavorful food that does not rely on high salt and fat to entice customers. Their salad rolls are devine as are many of their other dishes of curries, veggies, soups etc. Highly recommend.
Great Thai food. Great service and a perfect place to have a quiet lunch or dinner. Be prepared to take home the leftovers - great midnight snack.
Es de lo mejor se los recomiendo las ensaladas muy nutritivas y el massaman delicioso y la atencion muy buena. Uno de los mejores restaurantes de eugene
Really good and nice place
Best hot and sour soup and massaman curry I've ever had.
Best Thai in the area. Best fresh rolls I've had anywhere. Pad kee mow and Tom yum soup are top notch. Great service too!
Delicious and reasonably priced Thai food. Pleasant server, and food arrived fairly quickly after ordering. Clean and quiet during a late lunch. In our party, three of us were very happy with the spice level we requested, which was medium, on a dish listed as mild on the menu (Peanut Sauce Curry, excellent), while one person ordered mild spice and found the Meatball Soup a bit too spicy, and another person asked for very spicy and found their dish too mild. These were the only complaints, and overall, everyone was very happy with their meal. Recommended.
Great Thai food! It’s our favorite Thai restaurant in Eugene.
Good food and service in a timely fashion. Low prices for a quality product.
Great food sometimes, mediocre food other times.... chipped two teeth on a piece of gravel in the seafood mix. Ouch, and what a headache. Still eat there often.
Besutiful place. Good service. Mediocre food.
Very good, excellent service.
Thai cuisine delights await you and yours at Manola's! The staff are incredibly friendly, and while there can be a bit of a wait for your food to arrive, it simply reflects the care and quality that goes into their dishes. The restaurant interior is quiet and clean, all the more surprising since its location is near UofO in a bustling section of Eugene. The red curry I ordered on this visit was superb - and was "extra spicy" as requested, but without overpowering the flavors of the dish. What's more, this one entree portion was enough for dinner and tomorrow's lunch. Okay, tonight's midnight snack. Who doesn't like two meals for the price of one? I look forward to making my way through their menu on future visits.
Good atmosphere, interesting menu.
Expensive and food isn't good
amazing food! best thai in town and I am thai afficionado!
Such amazing food and service!!
Not very good food but great service!
Passing through on our way home to Tacoma and found this place. Really good, fresh flavors. We also appreciated how clean the restaurant is. We shared the seaweed soup and broccoli stir fry. The soup had bits of ginger and tofu squares, we wimped out and only went one star on the spice, but added more from the choice of hot sauces they provide and it was perfect. Basic broccoli stir fry with sauce that wasn't too thick like gravy and just very clean tasting. Also had the pot stickers with plum sauce for an appetizer and they were delicious! Great service, very tasty food.
I've been to this place twice and enjoyed it both times. The Thai ice tea is sweet and delicious. I've gotten spicy noodle dishes both times and both were so good, and the spice was about a 6 out of 10.
The place was practically empty both times I was there, which is sad because the food is amazing. I know I'll be coming back
Walked in and got seated. pretty much it, waiting for f
good 20 minutes and no service, I removed myself from the restaurant and went to sizzler for steak and lobster instead. First and last. If you want service, I wouldn't bother to go there.
Gaby loves Scott like egg rolls and it's taste.
I love this place! Very good service, and had the best thai food in Eugene. You can also sub meat on most dishes for tofu out tempeh. Lickity slits.
All I can say is that the food was excellent. Since I moved from Chicago, I have been disappointed in most cuisines like pizza, mexican and burgers in this area unfortunately. I decided to try Manola's out and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The kid on the phone said they were the best Thai around and I believe him!
The food had great flavor, clean taste and was by far the best food I have had since I moved out here. The tempura was crispy and not greasy and the pad thai was perfect. The salad rolls were just plain yummy. You can tell their dipping sauces are house made and not mass produced.
My only complaint is the charge. Got charged $6 for being near the edge of delivery. Seems a bit steep as do most the food prices and deliveries in this area. Will just have to order pick-up in the future after work. Other than that....its just plain great food.
Delightful staff, atmosphere and decor. Service is prompt, courteous and polite.
Food .... it was like I took a trip to Northern Thailand. Food was hot off the "what ever they used " to cook the food. My dish was just what I wanted, a bygapao made with chicken lvl 6 out of 10 hotness. I have found my holy grail of Thai Cuisine.
Great service and food!
This place is like a museum of what a asian restraint look and smelt like in the early 90's while also charging 15 or 16 bucks a plate almost everything. The service though was great!
Awesome decor updating along with excellent food
I got a noodle dish with tofu (delish). The decor is beautiful and it's a nice place for a sit down, nice meal. I'd say if you want equally as good food without the atmosphere or higher prices, going to a campus Thai or noodle place would suit you.
Really good Thai food. I enjoy their curry, but beware the zing in that thing. Spice! Lunch prices are phenomenal but dinner can get a bit steep. Friendly staff will work to accommodate food allergies, but can only do so much if a dish is expected to be spicy.
Good food and ambience, great service.
Great food, good ambience and amazing service
I had the peanut curry over anglehair my girlfriend had broccoli chicken black bean sauce I will be returning very good food.
Great service, clean, and good food
THIS FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!. SERVICE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXCEPTIONAL. A MUST GO INVITATION. MUST GO.
The food is fresh and the portion sizes are perfect. The staff is friendly and I"ve always been pleased with my experience here.
Yellow curry, massaman curry are one of a kind in the whole eugene area.the best. Their Thai Iced tea Iced Cream is a must.
My favorite dish is the hot and sour soup.
The food was pretty meh. Friendly service though.
Fantastic food!
The best Thai food in Eugene, Oregon
This place had some great Thai curry. The yellow was delicious and I forgot the name of the other butt it was also delicious. A little more sweet then the yellow but the flavors were great. The size of the meals were good also, the price was concerning at first but the dish size was big enough to feed two each. I would definitely recommend trying their curry. The service when we went was also good and satisfying.
Good food but used to be much better.
My husband and I were the only two in the restaurant which worried me at first. The place is clean the food was fresh and waitress was very nice.
My favorite place for soups when im sick curry is also good
Probably my favorite Thai restaurant in Oregon. Their Massaman curry is unique and the best thing on the menu.
The food here is AMAZING!! Best Thai food in Eugene.
Celery. All celery.

Superb service and very delicious food! This place offers friendly and fast service in a clean and calm environment. There's a very soothing selection of music on play at all times and the ambiance is stellar.
Very tasty selection of dishes at great prices.
Love their food! We’ve been eating there for years and it’s still one of our favorite places!!!
Love the food
Extremely good food and very friendly waiters. My only complaint is that if you get a stir fry, some of the bites are way too big
Great place, easily the best Pad Thai I've ever had. Have to try their "Thai Delight" Thai tea!
Food is very good. Service was great. This resturant is clean. Seats at tables are clean, I've never had to wipe foid crumbs off the seat.
Good food priced right
Liquid amazingness and pineapple pad thai
The pad see yu with beef is my favorite dish there. Make sure to try the thai tea ice cream if you have room left!
Great food, polite service and prompt. Definitely recommend.
Delicious food & quick service.
Always very tasty, they've yet to let me down.
Service was nice! Friendly staff!
Our family love Manola's. Great for GF eggless pad tie for the kid. And the curry will clean you out, spicy but can't stop eating delicious.
I'm never disappointed when I eat here
Lady drove by our house several times then drove all the way to Springfield. Finally she arrives, I get up stairs, and she gave me the wrong order. Over an hour wait, and I ended up getting the wrong food. Not impressed
Good food
Very courteous crew
Good price
Problem to get parking
Prompt, courteous service, and tasty food!
