Old Fashion Thai Cuisine, since 2005.
Overall the food was decent, can’t say it was my favorite. But I did like how the bar next store is open late and uses the kitchen here for food. The menu is smaller but still has a good selection
I’ve always loved this place since I started eating here, 10 years ago! Always had a good experience, but today was not so good.
When I called to place a to-go order around 3:45pm, Senah answered and started immediately coughing on the phone, directly into the phone, in my ear. When I stated that I’d like to place a to-go order she asks me what I’d like, as I start to place my order she interrupted me saying “first let me get your name…”. I proceeded with my name & my order, she repeated it back to me and it was correct.
My order was supposed to be 1 chicken Thai fried rice with a 1 spice, a side order of Thai fried rice with 0 spice, an order of spring rolls and a Thai tea with no ice.
When I got in the car I checked the order and everything seemed correct, expect it was a full order of Thai fried rice with 0 spice instead of a side order. I looked at the receipt and it shows I paid for a full order so it wasn’t a big deal. One box was label as 1spice the other box labeled 0spice.
The 0 spice was supposed to be for my 7 y/o but when I got home and went to serve my child the 0 spice rice, I smelled it and I could tell that it had spice in it. I tasted and had another family member taste it as well and both of us confirmed it was too spicy for my child. She was not able to eat it.
The kitchen line receipt was in the bag and it was labeled correctly, minus it needing to be a side of rice and not a whole order. Not sure what went wrong tonight, this is the first time I’ve had any issues, and it was pretty disappointing. 😔
I’ve been going to this restaurant over seven years, and last week I went to eat there. Only this time I didn’t have enough on my card to leave a tip like I normally do. The next day I received a Notification stating that a six dollar tip was included. Which overdraft my card with the additional $25. So if you go just make sure they don’t fraudulently charge your card.
More than generous with their portions, one meal could easily be split amongst two. Easy to order online. The staff was friendly when we arrived and they were wearing masks. Very clean restaurant. They offer different levels of spicy-ness on several dishes so you can chose what you like. Pictured: calamari, white rice, pad kee mow
Edit: called in to place order 10/20/24 music was playing too loud and I kept trying to explain that I wanted beef fried rice. Spend over a minute and a half literally repeating the word “beef” because they couldn’t hear over the loud music. Lady had the audacity to be annoyed at ME. Turn down the music if youre in a setting where talking to place an order is crucial 🙄 it’s common sense.
Original: Finally found a restaurant that has an accurate spice chart. If you’re a spicy food enthusiast then you’ve found your place! I treat myself whenever possible to their Crab Fried Rice level 9 and I just keep coming back for more. It’s so so spicy but full of flavor. Their level is 10 was torture to eat last time and the spiciest thing I’ve ever had in Oklahoma. 10/10 can recommend enough
Love this places. It was amazing
Little hidden gem.
Was picking up a to go order said it would be ready in a couple minutes. 10 minutes later still waiting and no estimated time of completion so I left.
Overall the food was decent, can’t say it was my favorite. But I did like how the bar next store is open late and uses the kitchen here for food. The menu is smaller but still has a good selection
Love this place
The worst pad Thai I have ever eaten the chicken was chewy and old and the noodles were stuck together in one big clump, barely a green onion in the lump of gunk. It was a disgusting waste of time effort and money.

Let's start with Thai food is not my go to. This food was good and the lunch specials are great.
Sorry but this pad see ew doesn’t look like Pad see ew at all.
I’ve been going to this restaurant over seven years, and last week I went to eat there. Only this time I didn’t have enough on my card to leave a tip like I normally do. Love this place. I only get the basil stir fry chicken! 1-2 stars. No mushrooms. Mmmm yummy 🤤
The food the service the vibe was amazing
I wanted to like the place, nice people but my food was left over and reheated. The noodles were all broken and the chicken was tough. My wife's curry was a little better.
Peaceful, Calm, Relaxing atmosphere and No Rushing you.
I've looked for something closer to north edmond but have yet to find a thai restaurant as good as Tana Thai. It's well worth the drive.
Go there once a week best Thai in OKC
I was excited to eat here ordered an appetizer and two meals with an extra order of rice for my 12 month old. when the food was brought out 35 minutes later, it wasn’t a problem, except for that I did not have my correct order. He then gave that order to the neighboring table as well as all of their order. I was not told at all where if they got mixed up if it was almost ready, so then he came over to check on us. During this time, at least just bring the serving of fried rice, which I still was giving an update on my food and when I asked for it, he told me he would go check. He never came back to tell me anything and continue to dodge my table as well as the other table freshwater at least three times. The other female serving also saw our table, but did not say anything to us so I waved her down. I told her I told her that I would like to cancel my order that I had not gotten my food in over 45 mins, She said still no explanation so I asked for the manager. The manager was not in, so I told him that I was not gonna be paying for the food (which was barely ) and that it was outrageous that I did not receive any food or no comment and that the other table had been been served before i had been served. also, this location says that it serves high chairs, but I was never offered one for my 12 month old . As well as no kid menu or kid friendly drinks Except water And unsweet tea. I was disregarded and then banned from the establishment. It left Venmo sour taste in my mouth because as soon as I started to complain and was voicing my complaint, I felt as though I was being racially discriminated at. Just another black girl yelling at a wall in a room
Exceptional dining experience. Great food, service, and atmosphere.
6 stars ☆☆☆☆☆☆
Bomb pad see ew
My favorite Thai place, quality everything
Recently moved to area. Found this place on Google. Ordered chicken pineapple fried rice. The portion was ok. The box could've been filled up for $14. The taste was average, pineapple fried rice is my favorite so I have an idea of how it should be. 3 spicy should be a little pink in color , and pineapple fried rice is usually a tinge of sweetness from the pineapples, it was not. The pineapples didn't even looked cook, kind of hard still. My first time trying this restaurant. I guess I'm still on the search for a good thai place.
Authentic Thai experience. Spice mix up is possible (something like ask for 0, get 5). Make sure to double confirm the spice requirement
I only order to go, so I can’t fully judge the atmosphere.. but, what I will say is it’s very VERY quiet. Lol that’s why I order to go. ITS CUTE THOUGH.
This location has improved significantly. I have returned at least four times in the recent three months.. it’s a family business, and they now deserve five stars😋😋😋
Fantastic spring rolls, pad Thai and Panang curry (got 2.5 stars and was perfectly spicy). One of the very best around!
Great green curry. Pad Thai was also excellent. Only downside is there is not that much room in restaurant.
Excellent
Immaculate!! I will be back! I had the Basil Salmon (like candy!) with Jasmine tea, The service was terrific, and for two, it was $25 w/o tip. Arrived at 3pm and from here on traffic picks up.
Best Thai Milk Tea I’ve ever had !!!!
Great dining. Upon walking the place is well set to decor to the music.
The food, you must come here to experience for yourself! What I will say is for those who are drawn to flavors and variety of spices, to no space at all, this is the place for you. The staff is very kind and informative. The guests who eat here as well are friendly and are willing to show you what they are eating.
Lastly, don’t miss out on their lunch specials. Taking place Mon-Friday from 11- 2pm.
My wife and I will be here again !
Not very good curry. Tasteless.
Love this place and the bar is pretty rad as well. The basil fried rice is delicious.
Super small space. Not much room to sit, move or stand. Called in an order for lunch. Was told it would be 15 -20 min. I arrived 15 minutes later and was then told it was getting started. Sooo 30 min later it was done. So, don’t call because they don’t start it until you get there and there’s really no room to wait.
Called in a pickup order was told 20-30 minutes for pick up to be ready. Showed up after 25 minutes and was told if would be another 20 minutes until my food was ready. When I got my food the appetizers was cold and the pan fried dumplings was hard as a rock.
Food is above average, but the wait times can get beyond ridiculous. 45+ minutes for one order of rice seems crazy to me.
Delicious fried rice!!
Store was having electric problems 3 days in a row I tried to go.
This is one of my favorite restaurants for lunch in OKC. I eat here at least weekly and can safely say that the negative reviews are unfounded. I experience nothing but prompt, attentive service, and the food is reliable and delicious. If you're thinking about Thai food for lunch or dinner, so not hesitate to go here!
Not sure why the reviews here are so high. This place was just ok. I won't be going back.
My spring rolls were rock-hard and not fresh, so I couldn't eat them. My food smelled like cooked feces, and I will never come back again. I will check back regularly to ensure my review stays posted. I don't mind rewriting my trustworthy review every day if that means I'd be saving someone else some money!
The food here is so amazing. Super cute decor. Excellent service.
อาหารแบบไทย โดยฅนไทยที่ได้ดูแลพัฒนามายาวนาน และก็เป็นที่นิยมของชุมชนในทุก ๆ ท้องถิ่น
Got delivery and soup and panang were missing the normal fresh basil element. OK but will not be my OKC Thai food source.
Decent Thom Yum soup, and the crab rice dish was very rich. Spicy rating 1-5 like most places. I let myself get talked down to 2 from 3 & it came out pretty mild. Very attentive staff.
2023 update: Thom Yum is less great than I remember but they probably have about the best padthai in town now. Don't order it spicy if you don't like it spicy. Also, about the only place that still gives generous food portions, most other thai places still charge more than they used to but cut their portions in half. Much respect on Tana Thai.
Friendly staff, good food
The staff was so attentive, the presentation of the food was immaculate, the atmosphere was so cute, and THE FOOD was just incredible. I had the vegetable green curry, hubby had shrimp basil stir fry. Quality is very high for the price, great value
Pineapple rice was awesome 👌 great service very comfortable friendly
Food is delicious, but the 1 on the spicy scale is HOT! So be warned!
Excellent service food is fantastic. Service was very good.
Great food and service. My go-to when I'm craving Thai food.
I love the shrimp fried rice and the spring rolls and I would have given it five stars but they were a little pricey just for shrimp fried rice and it wasn't a huge amount the prices could be a little better and I know everything is going up but for the area they seem to be the highest but the food was good and the service was friendly and kind
If like Thai food then try them out.
I enjoy the Chicken fried rice (#1 spice level. and their spring rolls.
The food here is absolutely amazing. They makes just the right amount of flavor with the perfect amount of heat that you get to choose. My favorite dishes are the pineapple chicken fried rice and the pad see ew. Great by their selves but mix the two together and its onto a whole nother level. Portion size is huge. Great value for your money.
I'm out here for them mf melon candies
Excellent food, fair price, nice atmosphere, very slow service.
One concern. We (10 friends) all very obviously ordered from the lunch menu on the back of the menu, reading from and pointing at it as we ordered. They were quite busy, and we waited for more than 30 minutes for our food to come. Then at checkout, the server was trying to charge us dinner prices. I respectfully said that I had ordered from the lunch menu. He said he didn't see that and had brought us dinner portions, so he would charge us dinner pricing. I gently stood my ground. He stood his. Finally I turned to another nearby server, and he dropped the price to charge us lunch prices. I'm grateful they made it right, but this is just something to keep an eye on if you're here for lunch and ordering from the very reasonably priced lunch menu. The portion sizes were great (they probably were dinner portions) and the food tasted really good.
Customer service can make or break a meal. We went to the restaurant with a group of 10 people for lunch, and the food was pretty good. When we went to pay we were all charged for dinner portions even though the lunch menu was pointed to when order during the lunch hour. The waiter was unreasonable and wouldn’t charge us for what we actually ordered. He finally did it for a few, but not everyone. He was unkind, and not understanding. We will never be coming back.
Gave my food to someone else ( the food that was under my name, sure), took 30 more min to remake my RICE. Called my order in at 12:28, took over AN HOUR AND A HALF to complete an order of RICE. Mind you it wasn’t busy, no customers were there, the workers were chillin & eating when I got there. I was appeased with a nonchalant sorry have a good day smh. I’ve been eating here for a while but after today, won’t be ever again.
I love Thai food 😋
It was fresh and tasty.
Saturday January 1/28/23 at 4:30 I came in and brought my mom and sister for a nice lunch date. I usually receive great service here. There was a lady there that I’ve never seen before working. I asked for water with them. Her response was “LIME” and I said on no lemon. She said “we don’t have lemons” and never really got my complete drink order, proceeded to walk away and literally out loud said “NOT TODAY”
Its just extremely unprofessional. I will not spend my money here unless it’s the sweet lady that usually works.
I’ve always loved this place since I started eating here, 10 years ago! Always had a good experience, but today was not so good.

Very small portions for price. Ordered the green curry and couldn’t finish it. The smell was awful and left a horrible after taste. I usually love curry, but not sure what they’re putting in theirs.
Didn’t receive my side.. LAME. Would call but be waste of time. Just leave this here instead.
The food taste and quality are good. The reason I am giving only 1 star is because of the wait time for a carry-out order. I ordered by phone at 5:25pm ... was told 30-35 mins .... but physically received my order at 6:30pm. ! hour from order time to actual carry-out! I understand staffing issues and even kitchen issues. At least be honest about it and tell customers the actual wait time.
Omggggggg the shrimp fried rice with crab meat!!!!!!!!!! Lort!! The best thing that happened to Earth!! Fried rice
small business with limited staff serving incredible cuisine.
People get mad about the wait time because they forget this is the BEST thai spot in a 6.5 mile radius. Obviously, their to-go service is going to be super busy at lunch and dinner time! that doesn't mean you shouldn't tip your host/hostess.
Pro tip - call ahead to check the status of your order if you're concerned about a wait time being extended.
if the phone rings for a whole 2 min before you finally get hold of someone, they are probably having a super busy night, and you should be prepared to wait a little extra longer!
it's worth waiting for IMO (that's why the entitled jerks keep coming back lol)
Will neverever go again..
One of the best Thai places in town. Lunch special prices are amazing. New decor is very fly.
Its my go to place when ever think about Thai 😊. Some of the foods that they never disappoint are basil chicken fried rice, cashew chicken and Spring rolls.
This fried rice is so different when compared with other thai places.
Good food. Great for to go orders.
Not what I expected got a Tom yum soup and it’s water with spice and shrimp not good at all
fresh and delicious, we enjoy this place
Called and was left on hold for 15 minutes then was hung up on. Then called placed me order it took another 20 minutes to be done . I love the owners however if it’s not them there the service is absolutely HORRIBLE
The place gave me the creeps, a kid in a black hoodie with the hood on, stared at my mothers expensive jewelry. Not to mention it was eerily silent and nobody was there. While the food was decent the people gave away an off feeling. They also served lunch sized food for dinner.
Best Thai I’ve ever had
Decent food and they’ll actually make a dish “Thai Spicy” (I like it when I feel the spice the next day and causes me to sweat ). Check it out if you’re in the neighborhood. Yep yep
This is most definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in northwest Oklahoma City. I recommend the Pad Kee Mao with extra chicken and extra basil. Yum.
Their food is incredible! I have not eaten anything here I haven't loved! Be careful, because once you try their food you will keep going back!
Wonderful food nice clean restaurant...friendly, courteous staff
I really enjoyed my lunch at Tana Thai. I've been looking for a great Thai restaurant close to home ,and this is it! I ordered the Pad Thai and Panang Curry. Both were delicious. The restaurant was also very clean.
The food is amazing, fresh and flavorful! Great service as well!!
Great crab fried rice
What a great find! I appreciate the actual lunch sized portions, just the perfect amount. And the sticky pineapple rice is a perfect ending, made with fresh pineapple, nothing out of a can!
Won't be back.
My mistake for ordering Thai food in Oklahoma, how do you mess up pad see ew and gyoza? Noodles had a poor and overcooked texture. Gyoza was just ew. Unfortunately my amazing camera made the food look at least decent, but it is definitely not in person. Big oof. This Thai food unleashed the inner Karen I never thought I had.
Edit/Update: It's been like 3 weeks since I posted this and I'm still upset about this.
Great food, service and atmosphere.
Tasty Thai Food with great service
We enjoyed a great, authentic family meal here. Kids loved the spring rolls and there were lots of options. Clean restaurant with courteous staff and fresh delicious food.
Very nice Thai food.
Left very happy.
Tana Thai is by far the best Thai this side of the city! From the Thai Basil, Pineapple Fried Rice and Cashew Chicken, you really can’t go wrong! Beautiful seating in side and take out is worth the wait as well!
Great food
The dine in area is so quiet. Perfect date night spot.
spring rolls are small now as well as sauce for spring rolls are small, veggie fried rice has more veggies then rice. I used to love this place but when you cut down on the quantity I’m highly upset I notice price cut but spring rolls are more dough then veggies in it not cool
Best green curry in OKC! ❤❤❤
Great place with a newly designed look on the inside. Teriyaki was good but a little salty for my taste 😋
Appetizers were not great: hot on outside, soggy ice cold on inside. Gyro platter was excellent.
Try 5 Star!
Best Thai food in okc!
Hot and READY !
I love there cashew chicken!👍
We ate here for the first time and enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We ordered lunch specials but when the ticket came, we had been charged for dinner portions and when we asked for a correction, we were told that there was nothing they could do because we received the full dinner portion. We felt like we had been taken advantage of.
Good Thai basil
This is my mother's favorite restaurant, so I hate to give it a bad review. However, I've gotten SEVERE food poisoning three times in a row after eating there. Be cautious with what you eat there and avoid it entirely if you have allergies or a sensitive stomach.
Today I had the best calamari I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. I’ve had plenty of seafood, both locally and abroad, and this was by far the best calamari I have ever tasted. Perfectly crispy, perfectly delicious.
Have a last minute urge for some Thai food call Tana Thai bistro. I found the peanuts and cashew plate the first time I went there and it’s so good I’ve never tried anything else. You can choose your level of spice as well I generally go with 3 level spicy. I have heard they can make it from no spice to surface of the sun hot so might ask the waiter what they think before diving in for max spice
This is my JAM! You can not go wrong with this Thai restaurant!!
I was so excited to eat here, so we ordered takeout since we live 2 minutes away. I was terribly disappointed. The Pad Thai was dry and sticky with almost no sauce. I don't see how this place is so highly rated. It's the absolute worst I've ever had. Neither of us ate more than two bites. Definitely a waste of money,
the teriyaki chicken is my fave! Plus the other food is amazing. One of the best thai places in OKC.
A top place for quality Thai food. Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldn't stop. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I liked.
Best thai food.
I painfully write this review I love thai food and I'm not sure if it was a bad night for this place but I had the pad thai and some of my noodles was dry as they wasn't even seasoned and I was very disappointed
The food is decent and the price was well worth the amount of food you receive. The Pad Thai is my favorite.
Went here for take out. Aside from the 30 minute wait, it was well worth it. Very fresh and Tasty!
Pineapple fried rice is the bomb.com ! Love this place. Quality ingredients and great flavor! Nom Nom Nom
Always delicious. Ive been coming here for the past 6 or so years and the quality has never changed.
Took 20 minutes for me to get a postmate order. Yall are entirely to slow to not be busy.
Pad Thai was just okay. Wife had the red curry chicken and said it was just okay as well. The red curry was about half the portion you get from Padang and not as good. We had to do take out because of Covid and the staff was very friendly but small portions of so-so Thai food probably won’t bring us back
Best Thai! Wish we still lived close.
-Alan
Not my favorite Thai place, I really prefer Thai Bistro in Edmond
Family lives this place
I love getting their spring rolls
Always a family favorite! Fresh, hot, and perfectly spicy. We usually get a few meals out of it, too.
Good food, cleanliness not so good.
$15 for combination fried rice is not worth it. Not even comparable to other Chinese restaurants. No flavor at all.
I was not satisfied with the food at all. We ordered the chicken pad Thai and the shrimp fried rice and we got more tofu then shrimp or chicken. If tofu is a protein choice that we did not order why was it in our food at all?? We counted 5 shrimp in the rice and about 7 pieces of chicken in the pad Thai. It was all flavorless and greasy. $30 wasted...We will not return.
This place would be a definite 5 star after all all there food is really good and they have good menu items except for one problem that docks them to a 4.... sometimes they can be inconsistent. Sometimes the food is the best you have ever tasted and it blows you mind but other times it will just be ok or good like the chef forgot to put in an ingrediant or two in your pad thai or curry. It is definitely good to come here it can just on occasion be disappointing but i still go because i know how mindbreakingly good it can be sometimes like the kind of food you cannot stop eating but only inhale without a break.
This is the type of gem that tourists wish they could find. Consistently delicious, top 3 must haves: fried spring rolls, pineapple fried rice, and pad kee mao. Be careful with the spice level. The portions are substantial and somehow the food tastes even better reheated; making for great leftovers.
What.a wonderful surprise! Sometimes you have no idea what to expect from a storefront restaurant, but Tana Thai was so, so good! The place is clean, staff is courteous and friendly, food made me moan with delight! I ordered tofu with cashews stir fry. The medium-hot sauce had the perfect amount of kick without burning my mouth. The lunch portion (which was large enough that I had to take half home) was $8. Can't wait to try many other items that all looked delicious.
So, sadly, this place wasn't amazing. The food was mediocre, at best. Service was slow. I had the fried tofu app and Tom Kha soup. This app lacked flavor for me. I'd like to see them pan sear the tofu in the sauce and give the sauce just a bit of heat (spicewise). Then it might be amazing. The soup was just...weird. IDK. The chicken tasted pickled? Almost? The Pad See Ew was not awful; but it wasn't great either. The most disappointing was the Pad Thai. The noodles were undercooked and the flavor was off. It smelled like wet dog. True story. Also it took forever to get service. I hate to leave negative reviews about local businesses, but I'm always honest. Try Moon Thai on 23rd and see how they compare for you.
Best Thai in the city. Hands down. Chicken Panang Curry dinner portion, spicy level 2, every time.
Food is very good. We used to have it every week. Service is sub par. Good for take out. First of all their spice scale is actually 1-3. But if you ask the wrong waiter he will tell you their scale is 1-15. So we asked for spicy level 8. We paid the price. Sweating and tearing up etc. We love spicy but give me a break. We went from 8 to 6 to 3 to eventually 2. I wish they could have told us actual scale is 1-3 and not 1-15. So beware when choosing spice scale. Food is very good but got tired of ridiculous service.
I am a curry fanatic. Their yellow curry was just, eh. Nice ambience, great help. I'll try the thai rice next.
