I haven't had Thai food in years. When I eat Thai food I enjoy having a specific spot as an occasional treat and I think I just found it here at Tasty Thai! The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming to us as this was our first time in their shop. The food was phenomenal and the perfect temperature reaching our table. All 4 plates stayed warm while eating. We had mild and no spice and it was perfect. This dinner outing was quiet and we were able to chat while eating without disturbing other tables. A little pricey, but worth every dollar spent.

Not only that the food there was amazing top of the line Thai food, the restaurant was clean, the food came fast and even the kids love in there super picky. I definitely plan to go to this place again I highly recommend it we had a great experience there.

What a wonderful experience. If you're in the mood for delicious authentic Thai cuisine this is an amazing restaurant to dine in or for takeout. It wasn't busy. The service was quick and served by a kind woman by the name of Lake which I believe was the owner but I didn't ask. Lake prepared my meal which was flavorful and so delicious. With that being said I ordered Lava Spaghetti which is - Italian pasta sauteed in sweet chili paste with red & green peppers, onions, and basil leaves. I also ordered - Fried Thai Spring Rolls specially prepared filled with (bean thread, carrots, cabbage, and celery) served with sweet fruity sauce. I was very impressed and informed the cook Lake that I will be trying many more dishes and entrees on her menu. Everything looks so good and reasonably priced that I Iook forward to returning soon.

Hands down THE BEST Thai food we have had in the area. Everything was incredibly fresh, prices are very reasonable, and serving sizes large. No dish we had to was bad. This will be our go-to Thai place from now on.

Lives up to the name; tasty food with great service. We arrived about 10 minutes after they just opened, so there was no one else there yet. The lady quickly took our order and we got our food within 5 minutes. We dined in, but we had to eat out of the takeout containers, which was actually convenient because I had leftovers. The pad Thai was delicious, and my friend really enjoyed her drunken noodles. Highly recommend!

Ive been eating here since 2008ish...its 2024. I dont even live in Toledo anymore but I always stop for Tasty Thai. Beef Drunken Noodle, Medium Spice, never had anything bad there. Real ones know! Please enjoy this place while you have it, these folks deserve to retire!

My husband and I got two different types of curries. He got the panang and I got red curry. They were both delicious! The owner was there and was super friendly to us.

Still on a quest to find the top notch General Tsos. Although the one here is decent, it's not spot on. The food is also on the expensive side. $16 for general and white rice. The service was very fast but not accommodating at all. I'll pass next time.

Me and my girlfriend have been coming here on and off for the better of 4 or 5 years. Everytime we do, it is exactly what we are looking for. The food is amazing, and everyone that we have talked to that works here including the owner is extremly nice. This is a must try in Toledo.

The only restaurant that my entire family will go to for Thai food. Their food is 10 times better than any other Thai restaurant I’ve been to and the other places food were good (Tasty Thai is just beyond delicious). The restaurant, including the bathrooms, are always clean and the tables are never sticky. All portions are huge- you can’t get this good of quality authentic Thai food anywhere else for the price. Every time I walk in the door, I look forward to seeing the lady who makes the food- I wish she was my grandma because she is the best cook in the world! She’s also so sweet and attentive. She pays close attention to detail- having never messed a single thing up that I’ve ordered for our family of 7 who asks for things to be taken out and added to our plates. That woman, and all other staff who have served us, truly make my whole family feel so welcome and cared about as customers and that’s not something you get just anywhere! Tasty Thai also offers many dishes that nowhere else has. It’s worth every minute of the 25 minutes there and the 25 minutes back. There’s a Thai place less than 5 minutes from our house that isn’t even worth the 10 minutes- we will choose Tasty Thai over anywhere forever. I recommend this place to everyone to send business their way and so others can have a great experience. Thank you to all the staff (especially the lady who makes the food) for continuing to outdo yourselves every time we eat at your restaurant. We’ll see you soon!

Such an amazing find in an unlikely spot. Don't be wary to try this little hole in the wall, the drunken noodles are to die for. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Prices tend to be a little on the high side though so be prepared to spend at least $15 per person.

I am Thai. This restaurant was absolutely fantastic, tasted just like I was back in Bangkok. Recommend the fried rice and Thai omelette. The owner was very amiable and a real personality too.

We're regulars here. The owner is the chef and often the only person working, she's remarkable and very nice. Consistently excellent food, with plenty of spice at the "hot" level.
Atmosphere is fine for a restaurant in a strip mall, but the food is punching way above its weight class, and the portion sizes are good too.
Highly recommend you check this place out of you like Thai food.

This place is near my office and I tried it for lunch. I ordered Pad Kra Pow. The service was good and it was ready very quickly. I wish I could say the same about the food. There wasn't a single speck of basil in the dish, the chicken was gamey and overcooked, and it was very greasy. It tasted like generic Chinese food.

I used to love Tasty Tai but I'm really sad with how my order went tonight. Placed a pick up for chicken pad Tai with extra chicken.... I received just the chicken and was still charged the full meal price. I drove across town for this meal and never have had issues so I didn't think to check my bag before leaving.

This interesting little restaurant is run by one slightly older woman. The proprietor's English is not the best, but the food is excellent. Both times I’ve eaten here in the last year the lady who does the cooking is also the only person in the restaurant, as a result you will receive your food in to-go packaging, though you can sit inside to eat.

I used to love this place but I feel like the lady who runs the place is just going through the motions now and lost the zeal. First she told us they don't have silverware so if you eat in its plastic forks and a Styrofoam container. She charges for water so we got a coke, when we opened the coke it was completely flat, turns out it had expired last year. Right before the food came out she told us the prices all went up 50%... interesting, why wouldn't you list that on the menu or anywhere in the store. When the food came out the fall rolls were mini size and the summer roll had a large dead fly in it. The general tso was good.

I can’t see how anyone could give this place anything more than a 1 star review. Immediately upon entering I’m met with a woman who, instead of greeting me with a hello, immediately informs me that if I want to dine in, I will be dining with disposable utensils and plates only. A bit of a weird start, but okay sure. Then she proceeds to tell me that everything has a 15% up charge due to COVID inflation. Okay, another weird start but I want Thai and I'm hungry. The “15” mark up on 9.99 red curry is 5 dollars, taking it from 9.99 to 14.99 lol. That’s a bit more than 15% last I checked.

Appetizers were frozen and microwaved. Still cold in the middle. My bottled soda expired in September and she refused to let me exchange it because I’d already opened it… my main dish was bland and flavorless. Will never return to this establishment for any reason.

I got charged 16.99 for an entree that shows 10.99 in the menu... this is so much..the ambience is not good, flies around, the food is not even great..not coming back..but it should be reported why they are not transparent on their prices..

I have been a customer here for years. I loved their food - until tonight.

I ordered 2 Tom Yam ($4.50/each), 1 Pineapple Chicken (dinner portion, $10.99), 1 Basil Leaves (dinner portion, $12.99), 1 Thai iced tea ($1.99). All carry out. The price was not quoted on the phone. I didn’t think anything of it. I should have. Nonetheless, the total should have been $34.97 per their menu prices.

When I arrived to pick it up, I handed them my card. The lady charged me $50.95.

I asked for a carryout menu and she handed me one, informing me it didn’t have the new prices. Well where were those? Because it’s dishonest to display one price and charge another. I understand inflation has caused price increases for everything. More than 45% is excessive. While it’s their right to charge what they want, it is wrong to not make it clear what a customer will be charged. I was comfortable spending $35, but $50? No. Everyone is cutting budget right now trying to make ends meet. This robbed me of grocery money.

Finally, the food, which has always been good, was mostly bland. The Tom Yam was still awesome which I suppose is a nice way to go out because I will not buy here again after this.

Their “spring rolls” consisted solely of cabbage and black pepper. The pad thai looked more promising but lacked any flavor and the vegetables that were there were simultaneously undercooked and overcooked. Go figure.

Had the Tom kah soup and was very disappointed. Literally only mushrooms and chicken. Pad Thai was ok but not impressed. Had a bad feeling about an empty restaurant at lunch hour. Also $20 for soup and entree is a little high for what I got. Do no recommend.

Pretty good. I got takeout chicken pad thai. Not too sweet, but it did not come with a lime. It didn't taste like it had any lime cooked into it either. Would be way better with lime, but it was still pretty good. My boyfriend got medium, and instead of mixing the spice into the dish, there was a teaspoon of spice paste in a corner at the bottom of the dish. That was an unpleasant surprise for him, but overall it was a good meal.

My green chicken curry was made fresh and was so delicious! It was just spicy enough and the place was super clean and empty.

Hands down the best Thai place in Toledo! Sadly the crunchy bread w/cucumber salad has been removed from the menu, but the pad see ew, Thai boat pork and green curry are all good too. I wouldn't come for a romantic meal because it doesn't have much in the way of ambiance, but the food is excellent.

Price is on point. Wide selection of tasty well seasoned foods. Many vegetarian options. Fast, friendly service. Nice decor. It was my introduction to Thai tea, which is now my favorite tea, much, much better than sweet tea. I have nothing bad to say.

Last couple times I've been there, they were short staffed, and the food wasn't quite up to their usual standards. Some of the tables were also dirty the last time I ate there.

The front overcharged by around $ 8 and so I asked him to double-checked. Then he suddenly mentioned that they are now overcharging for several menus due to covid. But, still the calculation was wrong so he paid back some with cash. Then, I asked him to give a knife for my daugther but he said they did not have, but it was a lie because he eventually gave us one.

Also, all dishes were disposable.

Worse Thai food that I’ve had overcharged for small portions ordered shrimp pad Thai & only received 4 pieces of shrimp food doesn’t have good flavor I’ve had much better, definitely not authentic Thai food Waste of $20 !

The food is very good and really tasty. Friendly and will make it really spicy if you ask. The large iced tea was really large and very good.

The mushrooms in Thai soup were really two weeks old, they already darkened. The chicken with vegetable had rotten taste and the same mushrooms....hope my stomach will be fine after all. I ate just a bit of it and when returned to the waiter, he said sorry and brought me a full check:))) stay away from this place

As far as Thai food goes this is above average. wide variety of options on the menu. The spice level at a medium is a hot medium (which I prefer). The portion size is adequate, you wont be bringing any home but won't be leaving hungry for another meal. the prices are about a dollar more on most dishes than other Thai food I have ate. I have been there twice and will continue to go back.
