Amazing food. I thought Raan Thai was good but this place is definitely better. The staff were very welcoming and definitely took the time to cater to our needs. The head chef checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable with the spice level. Evidently they are under a new management now, and even though this was my first visit, I hope they continue to perform!!

I tried their Garlice Salmon which was 9/10 and the Thai Iced Tea was not overly sweet either so definitely a solid 9/10 too! And definitely try out their shrimp shimai 10/10!

I tried this Thai spot for the first time and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed the curry dish I had which had deep flavor and a lot of heat (that I asked for). I want to come back again to try more soon! I am glad there is good Thai close to home! The service was great too!

I often order the Seafood Madness, even though I sometimes struggle with how spicy it is; it’s just too good to pass up. I adore the Thai basil, the Drunken Noodles, and the Pad Thai.

Honestly, just about anything I’ve ever ordered from them has been authentic, flavorful, and made with very fresh ingredients. I’m usually skeptical about seafood dishes, but their seafood is legit and fresh!

Yummm!!!! Hubby and I tried basil leaf today. We got pot stickers, fried tofu as an appetizer and pad see ew with beef and mango curry and it was absolutely delicious!!! We will be back. The best boba tea we have found!!! So delicious and local. 10/10 recommend. Our waitress was incredibly sweet as well.

Rubber squid, rubber scallops, rubber mussels. Inedible. Stay away from sea food here. Also covered in onions even though menu doesn't mention it . Service and other food was good.

Stopped in on a Friday night around 8pm. Tried the papaya salad, shrimp dumplings, drunken noodles, and the pho w beef. The broth of the pho was delicious. Wasn't a huge fan of the meatballs so I might order it without them next time. The shrimp dumplings were delicious, as was the papaya salad. The drunken noodles had a slight heat to them and were quite tasty. The service was impeccable (I'm guessing they were the owners) and I can't wait to get back here. One of the best places for a meal in Elyria!

Formerly the Thai House restaurant, they have reopened after a full renovation. The dining room is now open and they are just as welcoming as ever.

Great authentic Thai cuisine. The owners are very friendly and prepare all meals to order. I would definitely recommend the Pad Thai, which can also be seasoned to your taste.

Idc where you’re eating their food inside or at home! WOW I am from Az my daughter lives here & she took me to a spot in Oberlin. I can honestly without a doubt say that the place in Oberlin cannot compare to this place. No way! My gawd 1st. I ordered half our before close. Was done in 15 minutes!
2ndly. The food tasted as if it was cooking all day. Homemade … spicy for a 2 on some but I don’t blame them. I did order half hour before close. lol I’ll be getting another order before I leave. Thank you for the delicious & tasty goodness. Totally appreciate you!

We'd seen the reviews and looked forward to a visit. I had tofu drunken noodles. I chose mild, which for me was spicy, but not too hot. The vegetables were crisp and flavorful and the basil in the dish was fragrant and fresh. The tofu was plentiful and cooked perfectly.
My husband had the Pho with beef and meatballs. The beef was perfectly cooked, and he mentioned it often while eating it!
The staff is attentive and want you to be happy. We will return soon!

I had the Panang Curry with chicken. One of the the best Thai dishes I've ever had. Basil Leaf is fantastic!

Best Thai food around! Fresh, flavorful, and good portion sizes. We’ve had the satay, drunken noodles, pad Thai, basil fried rice, and curries - all were delicious. We lived in California for 12 years and were spoiled with great Thai cuisine. This place ranks among the best we’ve ever had!

The atmosphere is calm and service is timely but the food is different in a bad way. I've been a customer at the Thai house before basil leaf and now that there's new management and a new menu the food is rather disappointing. The mango chicken curry dish is way less spicy than the old pineapple chicken curry, the flavors don't center well on the pallet and lastly the tomato and onions throws off alot of the flavor you can get from the mango which drastically changes how the fruit itself tastes and interacts with the meat. The shrimp isn't de-tailed before hand which is something the old Thai house did and made sure off.
The avocado curry isn't any better and their signature pad Thai dish lacks in spicy and packs a sweet unsavory flavor. Overall the new menu isn't very appealing nor appetizing to me. I won't be returning to try more food or dishes. I won't be returning to this restaurant at all.

I have been looking for a great Thai place close to me and this one is it! Such kind staff, wonderful food, and quick service. I ordered the Tom Kha Gai and the sticky rice with Thai custard. It’s perfect. So packed with flavor and exactly what I expected. Thank you!!!

Excellent place, welcoming and bright interior, delicious food (the medium spice is enough to leave a nice tingle but won't kill you if you eat fast), a delicate and creamy Thai tea. Highly recommend the panang curry, warm, savoury, perfectly crunchy green bean and soft comforting eggplant.

This is a fairly new restaurant opened by a couple and I have nothing but good words about this place, their service is very good, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is also nice. They are very hard working and make delicious food and know how to take care of their customers. I would recommend this place 100 percent. We had ordered Panang Curry and Red curry and also the tum yum soup, the soup was so fresh and seasoned, the curry was very tasty with fresh vegetables and tofu, and the waiter was very attentive and respectful. I live in Avon lake and we used to drive to Strongsville for good Thai food now I can definitely say that I don't need to drive that far anymore for the delicious food. I would definitely try to go Basil Leaf cuisine for Thai food and also recommend anyone out there looking for quality Thai food to give it a try.10/10

We picked up Basil Leaf for dinner last night, and we loved every bite! We got the Lemongrass Chicken, Drunken Noodles with chicken and the Potstickers appetizer. Everything was so delicious and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The attention to detail in the presentation of the food, even for a carryout order, was top-notch. We will definitely be adding this spot to our dinner rotation. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

The Pad Thai was great. It had all of the flavors that I expect from good Pad Thai. I ordered it spicy (3/3) which could have been spicier, but the tingle was there and the taste was excellent. The appetizers were very good as well. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes! :)

Very good, fresh food! My whole group enjoyed our meals. We got Shumai and Potstickers to start and they were great. The Chicken Pad See Ew, Chicken Pad Thai, and Thai Basil were awesome! Food was very flavorful, we will be back.

Gave this place a try as it is close to my home. The only thing I had that day was the Tom Yum soup taste a bit weak and wasn’t very spicy. My big complaint is the hours this place is open. It’s closed on Monday and it does not open at 11:30 as it says on the Internet, I have gone there twice now only to find them not open so I will not waste any more time

It was well worth the wait for this new spot to open. I ordered the Pad Thai, Pad see ew, and summer rolls and everything was absolutely delicious. This is definitely going to be my regular spot for Thai food from now on. Now I do wish they had Toon Tong (crab Rangoon) but other than that, I will be trying other items on the menu.

Beautiful interior, very friendly/attentive staff, delicious food and drinks. We tried the brown sugar bubble tea and the Thai iced tea. The chicken satay was my favorite but the potstickers were great too, especially the sauce. We will definitely be back to try some entree options!

We ordered take out. Chicken satay very good. Avocado Curry with medium heat. A little hotter than expected but absolutely amazing. Chicken Pad Thai was soooo good.

Attended the soft opening & it was fantastic! The owner and staff were very friendly & attentive. Food was great! Got the summer rolls - which were delicious, beef pho - which was nice & hot and full of flavor, and the Thai donuts - were soo drool worthy! They even gave us complimentary Thai iced tea & it will now be a staple order for me. Can’t wait to go back & try more from the menu.

My wife and I came in for their soft opening. We were very pleased with the food and service. We are happy to have such a good option for Thai cuisine so close to home.

Trying a place for a soft open I'll give it the benefit of a new open and growing pains...the service is fantastic, the staff is overly nice and welcoming, even gave a free sample of their Thai iced tea which is unique and worth a try...the food I hope improves with repetition...I tried the summer rolls which were tough and chewy, the pad thai was a little bland but hot...definitely worth a try...it did smell fantastic in there
