Bright, casual standby for Asian fare, from Thai noodles to Chinese seafood, plus a full bar.
The only sad thing about my dinner is that I live in Detroit and can’t come to this place every weekend.
The food was unbelievable! I highly recommend the Peking duck & green bean dish. We were only 2 people, but ordered 5 dishes. I wanted to try everything. The service was also incredible and speedy. If you’re thinking about trying this place you should definitely come on in.
I dined at the restaurant at lunchtime with about 15 other people from our party. We were split up into two groups with 8 people per table. That was OK, but it seemed to take a long time for everyone to be served. I ordered the Thai version of hot and sour soup and an entree. I enjoyed the soup, but my entree never arrived. The waitstaff came around periodically with our dishes. They didn't seem to know who had ordered what. Finally, I asked a server what had happened to my entree. The food was brought to the table, but I had to pack it up right away because the woman who drove us there wanted to leave. The place has a good reputation, but I'd never go there again, except maybe for takeout. I don't think they're equipped to serve large groups, especially on a weekday.
Fantastic food and accommodated large groups very well. We had our friends and former coworkers in tow and ate family style.
Parking is plentiful there when we arrived at noon on Saturday. Highly recommend many dishes but if you like sweet beef definitely try the Beef Tenderloin with Special Sauce and they have great Pad Thai here as well.
I love to eat good food I don’t care how much it cost. When you’re looking for some fine dining this is the perfect place for you to take a special someone or your family for all occasions. The seafood is fresh and all of the entrees are delicious. There is too many choose from I just order a bunch of them. When you work hard for your money sometimes you got to live and let the money work hard for you. Eat good and enjoy your life!
It is clean place
The food fresh only this eat with pepper steak
I had another amazing meal. This is a wonderful place. Try the Peking duck.
One of the best asian food you can find the city.

Good food, interesting selections, nice people.
Covid update: prices are higher & portions are smaller. They close earlier, too.
Roasted duck was perfect for Ohio state vrs Origan football game party
good service
They are open on holidays!
Busy even late on Friday
Christmas Day, possibly one of their busiest days of the year, the service was perfect, the food was wonderful. They took good care of our family. I look forward to going back.
Delicious food. Courteous people.
Sanbaofan is good, but yuanti is bad. The server also screwed up the dish when serving.
My go to restaurant on Thanksgiving. Shall be my go to restaurant for Asian food from now on.

Great food! Huge menu. Specialty is Seafood. Desserts are good also.we like sweet & Sour chicken and my favorite is fried noodles with seafood.
Incredibly friendly service and everything we tried was delicious.
Singapore noodles. Wonton soup. Fried rice. Cold spring rolls.
Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu.
We have been here a few times. The staff are great! We were told this is the place to go if we want to eat the best Chinese food in the area. There were vegan options and the 1st time I chose Eric's Favorite. I thought it was delicious. Bill ordered the Vietnamese Pork Chops and he loved it. He said it was "GREAT." The last time we went, I decided to try something different. My dish tasted kind of bland. I just asked Bill what he thought of his dish. He is not as strict with the diet as I am. I am the "eat clean" fanatic in our household. His dish looked amazing! It was called "Fancy Tofu." It came with shrimp, chicken, baby corn, onion. mushrooms, and peppers. He said the portion size was great, it looked great, it was prepared well, and he thought it was bland. I guess for us, it is a hit and miss. The Pad Thai is really good. I ordered it and asked if they could make it without the egg and meats. They were happy to change the order to something that fit into my diet. I found it to be delicious. Siam goes out of their way to provide good food, great service and the price is reasonable. Perhaps if prior to ordering, we had more knowledge about what the sauces were like, we would have given this 5 stars all around
Very good food. Something for everyone to enjoy.
So delicious - a Cleveland staple. The Paradise Shrimp and Bun are out of this world. Highly recommend the Vietnamese coffee, as well as, the Tri Color drink if you're looking to try something new.
Have been there numerous times over the years. Will go back again whenever there is an opportunity.
Very good
Truly a wonderful restaurant. Even our worst experience was better than most others.
From nj... we ate the duck and beef with noodles. Food was out quickly. Service was great. The prices were terrific and it had private parking lot. Great spot. Enjoy.
Fantastic food and accommodated large groups very well. We had our friends and former coworkers in tow and ate family style.

Best authentic Chinese/Canto food. Me and my friends would drive 2 hrs just for their great food. Then buy bunch of take out 👍
Large Variety of Asian food.
中華料理
The food was delicious.
We really enjoy this place. Amazing food, and really fast service!
The steamed dumplings, General Tso's and the spicy cabbage is our favorite!
The owner will force you to pay higher tips saying "my employees don't make much" so they need higher tips
Probably the worst chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. Not sure if we ordered the wrong items or it was an off day in the kitchen.
What we ordered: potstickers, beef lo mein, orange beef, general Tsos chicken.
The orange beef was straight up not cooked. I would have to imagine it was frozen beef they tossed into a hot wok and the outside cooked before the inside was even close to being done. Not sure how else you could get a barely blue rare stir fry strip of beef
The general Tsos was also very disappointing. Not crispy at all, the breading was thick and sticky. My first piece of chicken also tasted like a shrimp. The sauce itself was sweet and not spicy at all.
The potstickers were at least cooked and a little crispy on the bottom, the filling though was not seasoned at all and the sauce they came with tasted vaguely of soy and nothing else
Lastly, the beef lo mein. This was the best thing we ordered and it was still a 3/10 at best. The beef was cooked which was a good start, however the sauce again tasted of nothing. It tasted like a little bit of soy and then some black pepper.
Beyond disappointed as we saw this place all over lists of best Chinese in Cleveland or on Instagram for must try places, I don't know if I could ever give them another chance after my experience.
What a treat this place is! I didn't plan to finish, but ....
Excellent food, pleasant atmosphere, quick service. And huge, diverse menu.
Everything about Siam Cafe is just great! I love the staff and their food is fresh and amazing. Thank you for existing.
Food was very disappointing. Tasted like it was cooked in old grease. Been here several times but never had such bad tasting food.
Great Asian food. It was very busy on a Monday lunch rush. Staff was extremely friendly, highly recommend if you are in Asia town area
Very good restaurant for Chinese, Thai,....
Fabulous wait staff.
Wide variety of various Asian cuisines. All good!
难吃,态度差。空心菜咬不动,梅菜扣肉臊的不行
Great place for really good Chinese food
We attended a rehearsal dinner there with family members of the bridal party who are Chinese and Chinese American. The food was very authentic and well received by all. Due to a power outage in the area, we also had to change to this location with a large party of over 20 people less than 24 hours before the event. They were friendly, hospitable and very accommodating for our party
Meal and service was good. Not exceptional like I remember from past years. But inside of restaurant sorely needs updated. Visited here Friday, 7/26. Was shocked that it wasn’t packed and a wait because we arrived at 5:45p. Definitely not as busy as previous years. Used to be difficult to get reservations, now not at all. Definitely needs a major makeover inside. We were sat by seafood water tank in back area of restaurant and was gross looking.
Food was fresh and tasty. I ordered the Pad Thai and the chicken and shrimp were juicy and tender.
Lunch was a good value and reasonably priced so close to downtown Cleveland. This will be added to our regular lunch rotation.
The customer service is so good I swear it makes the food taste even better 🤣 they’re so kind, respectful, warm. Really appreciate it. And it’s clean!!! And well decorated!!!!
Favorite restaurant for Pad Thai!!!
Update: Still the best Thai in town!
Update 2: Still a family favorite!
Update 3: Tried some new (to us) dishes tonight and they were delicious!
Update 4: Still the best Thai in town! Great staff too!
We were very lucky to find this restaurant on our way back to Milwaukee from NYC. We travel between these two cities often and will definitely dine there again whenever we have a chance.
Food was fantastic. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
The selection of Sushi here was excellent. One of the best Sushi place in the area. Unfortunately forgot to take pictures. The soup we had was also really good.
I have been here several times over the past 5 years, and it is one of my favorite restaurants! Recently, we had a reservation for a large group of 15 there for dinner earlier this year, and a smaller group of 4 this week. They did a great job, and everyone enjoyed their meal. My favorite dishes are the Pad Thai, Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Fried Rice, Beef Fried Rice, Treasure Special Rice, and the Green Beans. Next time, I'm going to try one of the pork and noodles dishes that other people ordered because they looked delicious!
Great tasting dishes, especially the ginger scallion steam fish and the tong choy garlic stir fry.
Would definitely be back.
Todo muy bien y muy rico
We've been coming here for more than 20 years, and the food has always been consistently delicious. Dine in or take out/delivery service.
Good food. Ordered 9 plates and every single one tastes good, no issues. Servers attentive and refills water and tea. Great place for authentic Chinese seafood.
Good
Nice chill spot. Being one of three Chinese restaurants that's been around for decades. Clean decor and good wait staff. Also nice mix of Vietnamese dishes as well.
I was here for the first time a few weeks ago and service and food was great. Mothers Day wasn't busy. My son and I were seated immediately. My son didn't like his meal. And I ordered an appetizer which at first they didn't remember that I ordered one. And then they served it after the main meal because it was forgotten. I will try them again. But unfortunately this time we were not happy.
Chinese/Oriental ambiance and food. More authentical than most places. It's inexpensive (as most Chinese restaurants are). Service has a hard time understanding special requests or questions outside of the standard menu. If you are in a neighborhood, it is worth stopping by.
Absolutely the best Thai and Chinese food in all of Cleveland. Go here!
This was me and my Aunt Angela's last meal. She told me she loved her steak fried rice with vegetables. Im going to miss you Auntiw
This is my favorite restaurant in Cleveland. I love their dishes so much. Even I moved to other places, I still miss this restaurant.
The food is delicious. The No. 20 Noodle dish (a Vietnamese dish with a spicy sauce over vermicelli noodles, with chicken, shrimp, red and green peppers and onions), and the NO. 1 soup (Tom Yun gong), a spicy, thin soup with mushrooms, large shrimps, and onion, is great.
The employees are wonderful: Jen, Mae, Lily, Mike and Andy, who are visible in the dining room; as well as the employees in the kitchen. Siam is my favorite place to visit - just wish it was in my neighborhood!
Fried rice $16.00 ? Was very average. And they didn't come back to the table after bringing the food. Poor service.
One of the best spots in Cleveland to have authentic southeast asian and Chinese food. Family has been going for years. Definitely check it out!
Been coming here since I was a kid; still one of my favorite places to this day
An authentic Oriental sit down. Impeccable host and server treatment. Fresh ingredients and yummy stir fry. Once I went 3 times in one week and even though I felt embarrassed inside they made me feel welcome
The seafood was slightly overcooked, but otherwise delicious. Service was top notch.
Best place to eat. The friendliest people you can meet. I'm a vegetarian and they have the best tasting food around.
My husband had a wonderful meal of chicken with black bean sauce. It was hot and delicious. I had Siam chicken/shrimp with pineapple, peppers, mushrooms, fried rice, a touch of curry. The meal was at room temperature. The shrimp was almost cold. Fried rice is fried and supposed to be hot. I told them and they sent it back to be warmed. It came back to me hardly changed. The shrimp was a little warmer, the rice slightly warmer, that's all! Very frustrating! I ate it as I was very hungry. If you want a bland meal, choose this one, but state you want your meal served hot. I won't eat it again. We probably won't be back, but it is a very popular place. I guess I chose unwisely.
Ordered food at different times but came all together at same times time. Ordered food without peas but still had included them. Shrimp in food was old and spoiled.
I love Siam Cafe. My favorites are Vegetable Curry and Hot Liang soup. The food is flavorful, and not too sweet. The atmosphere is pleasant. It’s in a nice setting that’s not too large or too small, with windows everywhere. I like it!
Been driving past this place all my life and finally decided to stop. Tried the scallops with black pepper sauce. It was better than expected!
This is the Asian restaurant where all of the Asians go. My family has been dining here for about 20 years. The food is delicious. Vegetables Curry is one of my favorites 😍. I also like the Singapore noodles. If you're with a group, it's best to try a few different dish and share like a family.
Update: March 11, 2024
This is still one of my favorite spots , but along with everything , the prices have definitely going up. What used to cost you about $16.Is going to cost you $22.
Very authentic Cantonese food. Very good and friendly services.
Slow service
Disappointed whole roast duck came in buns? Never had it before was good but not what I was used to expected
duck head and all.Still my favorite restaurant but not going to order duck again?.
I tried their pork belly banh mi at the Asian festival and it was delicious so since then I've wanted to try this place. Sadly, they didn't have any banh mi on their menu so I got the pineapple fried rice & steamed pork dumplings. I really wanted to love the food (like I did at the festival) and a lot of people say it's the best, but I just thought it was "ok". Lots of shrimp & chicken in the rice which is good since it's a bit pricey, but personally I'd prefer more pineapple. Overall it wasn't bad definitely edible. The steamed dumplings were not the greatest, very bland. I'll probably give them another try and just order differently next time. Also the staff was very friendly!
Great food and friendly help
Personally I loved everything about the dining experience. I'm a cheapskate though, so I'll probably only eat here on special occasions.
That said, the variety is organized, so one doesn't get overwhelmed with the book of dinner choices. Lunch is limited to a four sided menu.
The food is prepared on order, and arrives quickly. I had planned to take home half of my substantial serving of Pad Thai, but it tasted so good I ate everything but the lime peel!
The restaurant is clean and bright, and it has a steady clientele. I didn't use the bathroom so I can't evaluate.
Parking is ample, free, and uncomplicated.
I look forward to my next visit.
Company party. Great food.
Great menu. Solid food.
Absolutely the worst orange beef and general tso’s chicken ever!!! The Beef came out soggy and cold. When sent back and requested sauce on the side, it came out oily/greasy and the orange sauce was bland. General tso’s sauce was awful also. The chicken in the tso’s was all breading, barely any chicken (dark tiny pieces of meat). The wonton soup was bland. Would NEVER go here a second time. The worst version of Chinese I’ve ever experienced. Should have walked out due to poor food quality and poor service.
They have the best Pad Thai. I order it with extra peanuts and it is soooo good.
I must say it's one of the best foods we've ever had in terms of seafoods. Steam flounder, lobster crawl ball, stir fried noodles with soy sauce, seafood soup, seafood veggies, seafood with taro nest were amazing. It's rare that a restaurant would be able to nail all the dishes, but they did it for us 2nite for a small group of friends gathering before the Lunar New year. We'll be back.
Calm dining experience with 5 star food! The wonton noodle soup was perfect and the chicken satay was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine.
Great food and great service. Had the wonton noodle soup and it was delicious, then had sweet and sour chicken it was also very good.
My favorite lunch spot. Everything on the menu is excellent and the prices are very fair.
Great food, great service. Great place to get a couple plates and share them with the table
We are biased, it’s a family favorite. We order in and eat in here often during the summer and holidays.
Amazing food. Great portions and prices. Had a wonderful birthday dinner with my wife, aunt and uncle here.
Excellent! Fresh, hit and well done.
Wow, so much to choose from. Almost nothing I recognized on the menu. So glad we shared 4 meals and appetizers. I feel you could eat here twice a month and still miss a lot of menu items. Gotta come back when frog legs are in season. 👍 Great experience.
Awesome place to dine. Enjoy the experience.
Service was quick we were waiting shortly two tables ahead of us took less than 15 minutes to get seated. Drinks came out fast followed by delicious spring rolls definitely get an order.
The food was great the service was so good on Christmas Day, the hostess was very friendly and checked us out at the table
I have been eating at this place literally since 1990. Same ownership family. This is as good as it gets. I have traveled the world, and had Tai and Cambodian food all over the world - NYC, San Fran, Toronto, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Singapore, Bangkok and this is still my favorite. EVERYTHING is ALWAYS fresh, cooked when you order, Live Fish, lobster and Crab are in a tank you see. Be adventuresome ! Their menu has dishes from all over Asia- Tai, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Chinese- All Authentic. Salt Fish and Bean Curd (Tofu) in hot pot for example. But you cannot go wrong with the Chefs Specials. Duck ChooChee is my favorite Curry. Or get a fresh Seabass with Scallion. Anyone who is looking for your typical chinese- go to panda wok- this place is too authentic for you.
Best food ever. Sooo good!
I have been there a number of times never disappointed..
Delicious! We had a small Christmas party there and I loved every dish we had! Except the spicy ones, but I can't handle spice
My favorite was the fried string bun! The sauce served with it is perfect
Great food
Our go-to for the last 20 years. Very tasty and consistent Cantonese/Chinese (mostly), and Vietnamese/Thai. The Salt Baked Pork Chops, Tofu Casseroles, Fresh Asian Veggies, and Beef Ho Fun are always favorites for us. Their fresh seafood (especially the Ginger Scallion Lobster) are a treat and must-do. Do it family style to experience all their great dishes.
Great place for a night out with family. The interior is a bit run down, but the service is super friendly and the food is top-notch.
This is a quant place on the outskirts of little China town. It is worth a visit again. They have live fish you can select from. The chocolate almond cookies are really good. I had brown fried rice with shrimp.
UPDATE, ate the salt baked flounder today and it was amazing
Such an elegant place. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Ideal for a fancy night out or a family dinner. Whatever the reason, it's an ideal environment. They also have a lovely selection of sake. I highly recommend it.
Excellent fresh food - best Asian food I've had in years. Yay, Cleveland!
My all-time favorite. No other place with such great food, menu variety, and impeccable service.
Really excellent food, the service is great and you definitely get your money's worth. I was working downtown for a couple of weeks and we went here a couple of times. I got a spicy ground pork with basil dish that had a decent amount of heat and tasted amazing. The 2nd time I got a spicy beef dish that had szechuan peppercorns and it was phenomenal. I only wish I lived a closer so I could go more often!
