Went to Cilantro last night for a double date, and this place did not disappoint! We decided to split a sushi boat for two among four people, and it was more than enough food. Of course, we ordered a few extra items on the side, and everything was absolutely awesome.

The service was great—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We requested a table towards the back, which was perfect for a more relaxed atmosphere. The front of the restaurant feels a bit like you’re on display, and sitting further back gave us the space we were hoping for.

If you’re looking for great sushi, great service, and a comfortable setting, I’d highly recommend Cilantro.

This place is amazing for someone looking for Asian Fusion. They have some of the best stir fry items, Japanese cuisines and Thai food. We had a great service provided by a team member named Jordan. She took great care of our order, made sure she gave good recommendations and told us what would taste good or not based on our likings and preferences. Anyone in Akron area should try this place. This is a great fine dining place. Great food, great service and awesome atmosphere. 10/10

Just an outstanding lunch on every regard. Fast, fresh, full of flavor, color and texture. If I had to pick one slightly off ring to my palette it was the house dressing, which was a tad sweet to my liking, but it was just delicious if your not trying to avoid sugar.

I will be back when I'm in akron and may make a few trips for dinner with my bride.

I had a Hot and sour (Tom Yum style) mushroom soup, salmon hand roll and ginger stir fry veggies with a #3 heat level.

Cilantro is probably one of my favorite lunch spots. I come here all the time and the service is always pleasant, the atmosphere is always nice, and the food is always great! Well priced for lunch and big portions for dinner. My favorites are their sashimi (canal combo), yakisoba, and duck basil. The new wing zap appetizer is so good, too. Can't go wrong with anything here!

We got the pad see ew and the thai green curry! Pad See Ew was OK nothing great. I liked the green curry, but I'd go somewhere else. Also had a long wait. We also got the sushi which was disappointing.

The place was pretty busy so the servers were running around little crazy. Which meant it was not the perfect service but they were nice and helpful. They did their job great!

For the food, duck basil was pretty good. Duck was crispy and veggies went well with the duck. It comes with side rice and it’s perfect condo for a meal.

I would come back to try different menus. Only reason I don’t give 5 star is because it’s not the best Thai food I had. Food is very good

Got there about 8 on a Saturday night and were seated right away. I had a lychee cocktail with Tom Ka Gai (coconut milk soup) and sashimi. My husband got Pad Se Ew. Food was fresh and delicious!

Super beautiful restaurant and every dish was lovely! Wished I could have tried more, but all of their food is fried in the same oil, and since I have an allergy I was very limited on what I could try. However, the mango sticky rice is a must try!!

My only issue was there was only menus online. And not that I'm opposed to an online only menu. It was hard to navigate and I couldn't see everything at the same time. It's such a nice place. I want to see what my options.

This restaurant was beautiful inside,went at dinner time. No wait, service was professional and friendly. Food was delicious . We will be back again.

Food was OK, I got the Thai garlic wings a drink & fried rice. Did not feel it was worth $48. Sat at the bar and I explained this was my first time here, the bartender was not welcoming, she never asked me was I ready to order I just had to let her know what I wanted, never inquired on how my meal was if I liked anything, hospitality just trash and I felt out of place. For $48 and a tip I couldn’t even get a “have a great night at the end of my first visit. I heard great things about this place and I’m a foodie so I love trying new things but the bartender of this restaurant made me feel like I didn’t belong and my service was not wanted. Ok food but will not be returning

We reserved a table for a party of 22 for my daughter’s 18th birthday. I spoke with the owner a few times via email and phone so everything would be planned accordingly. We all sat at one large table. Come to find out we had only one server for a party of 22! Some of our food was forgotten, and when the main courses did come, some were cold even after waiting a very long time for them. No one came to clear our table throughout any of the time we were there. Dirty plates everywhere. When I addressed these issues with the owner, he offered to take only one dish off the bill that was cold. When I told him about the cold food after such a long wait, he said he was aware of the issue, but why didn’t I ask him to warm the food up? I’m sorry, but it shouldn’t have come out cold to begin with! And he was very aware of our issues all night and not one time did he approach the table to see what he could do for us; I had to find him. He also was offended when I told him we had to wait a very long time and food was forgotten and dirty plates everywhere - he said we had his best server with us, and she’s very capable of handling a party this big and he was going to talk with her. It was not our server, she was great! It was just too big of a party for one person to handle. No one ever came and gave her any assistance. Needless to say, my daughter’s birthday was ruined and she was also very embarrassed about the whole ordeal.

The table we were seated at had a slant to it and my husband's Martini slid down the table and onto his arm and pants. The menus are 6 years outdated. You can go online and pull the menu up at your table if you are comfortable with that, service atmosphere and the food was wonderful

We ate at the bar. Our bartender was so lively and attentive. She managed to hold a conversation with us despite being very busy with the bar and serving tables.

10 min wait for 2 on a Saturday night, no reservations. Service was wonderful from host to server. Inventive cocktails, food was top notch.

Food is consistent and well prepared, and service is friendly and accommodating. The decor of the restaurant is very inviting.

I've never had a bad dish at Cilantro, and just about anything you order will be of above-average quality.

You may be wondering why it's 4 stars instead of 5 based on my glowing review, and it comes down to value for most dishes.

Some things come out to be a veritable bargain, like their poke bowls that are packed with fresh ingredients and a variety of bold flavors, but this is the anomaly, not the norm.

As an alternate example, their Pad Thai is a fine tasting dish, but at $22, there are competitors who prepare an equally good (or even better) rendition for a mere fraction of the price (think $13-15). Cilantro does nothing for MOST of their dishes to justify their elevated prices.

If it were truly a far superior offering, I would get it. Or, if the portions were much greater, sure...even if the service and atmosphere were so great as to justify it, I would accept it...

Ultimately, when you leave, you'll be happy with what you got, but not what you paid for it. For that reason alone, I would suggest a multitude of competitors in the area who can offer a comparable experience for just over half the price.

If Cilantro can fix that one component, it could be a five star experience.

They dont have menus. You have to scan it on your phone. I hate that. Ordered the Massaman curry. The sauce was excellent but, the chicken was way over cooked to death. Tough and dry.
The server was just o.k. We saw him twice. When he took our order and when he brought our check.

I was in town visiting and Really Liked this restaurant!!! Mondays they have POKE Bowl. I didn't get 1 because I had my eyes set on the Akronite Roll that was Delicious!!! Highly Recommend!!! Very Friendly Service Too!!!

This may be my favorite Thai and Sushi places ever. I have just started coming here this year and I am ANGRY I just recently found this place! It is sooo great. The experience each time is great and I cannot say enough about the food. The staff remember you and it is an overall must see!

I have been here many times, both dine in and carry-out. The food is always right, and decent portions. I usually leave with a doggie bag. Do be careful with spice level - it seems to depend on who is in the kitchen that night. I ordered a 3 recently (my usual) and it was so hot I had to send it back. They got another meal out pretty quickly though, and it was delicious.

Ordered online was very good. The price for the fried rice is a little expensive for what you get. The spice scale is not for the faint of heart, be mindful when ordering.

Just payed $50 for 3 spring rolls and a a box of white rice with 3 pieces of carrots, 3 broccolis and a couple of baby corns. Very low quality, will never order a delivery from this place again

Came in for lunch and split two appetizers, the thai beef salad (the beef was incredibly tough, dressing was 10/10) and the Kah Nom Jeeb (flavor was excellent but they were slightly below a lukewarm). For entrees we split a Dynamite and a Cilantro Special Roll. Both had way way too much rice and the fish was way overcooked in the Dynamite.

What sealed the deal for me was I went to the restroom and there was a server in the stall next to me.. the only reason I know it was a server was because she had her whole apron on the bathroom floor, pens and money falling out of the pocket. I’m in rhe industry, I get wanting to hide away for a few minutes. But taking your apron anywhere near the bathroom is beyond disgusting.

It was our first time here and we went for my birthday. A great experience all around. Food was delicious, we were seated timely with our reservation. Our waitress was also very good. Can't wait to come back.

I love taking my wife to dinner at Cilantro. The food is always excellent. We especially love the sushi. I've made an effort to try different menu items over the past few years and loved each one. Lately though, I find it difficult to not order the green curry scallops. They are cooked perfectly and the curry has just the right level of heat.

Ate here last Saturday. Had a reservation but they were confused and couldn't find it, so we were sat in the non-reserved area. We were rushed the whole time with ordering. They do not give out menus, you need to scan a QR code. Out of luck if you forgot/don't have a phone. Quite stupid if you ask me. The food came, and my portion size was enough for 4-5 servings. It wasn't very good, and I couldn't take it home with me because I had other things going on. Quality would've been appreciated over quantity... It's also quite expensive for how it tastes.

We LOVE Cilantro. Easily one of our favorite spots for dining out or pick up. The food is always delicious, always tastes fresh, and is always prepared as ordered. The hosts are always friendly and our carryout orders are always done on time. Our waitress today, Mica, was excellent. Grateful to have small businesses like Cilantro in our town and this establishment makes it easy to leave 5 stars.

Went for NYE dinner and tried the pork gyoza, seafood hotpot, and some simple sushi rolls. Unfortunately, the sushi wasn't anything extraordinary, but the hotpot was fantastic! I highly recommend! Service was great and the atmosphere is a cool mix of hip and casual.

A group from work stopped for lunch during the week. The place was very clean. Service was friendly and helpful. I ordered the ginger stir fry with tofu with a heat of 1 (I'm a big chicken). It was delicious! Lots of #5s with my coworkers. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

I wish I could remember the name of our server, but she was working the bar as well on December 18. I would guess she was the best server that we have ever had in any restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Food here is awesome selection is top-notch.

Their mock duck curry is the most wonderful thing in the world - on top of that the atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty amazing.

I have been a frequent customer to this restaurant for at least 5 years and in the last few months I am incredibly disheartened at the way management treats their customers and employees. In the last few times I have dined in, I have watched management belittle their employees and treat their customers disrespectfully. Management can’t be bothered to provide a nice dining experience and they’ll let you know that the second you walk in the door. You need customers and employees to keep a successful business running so hopefully management gets their act together.

My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner. Our server, Emily, was very pleasant and attentive. She asked our preferences for and adjusted our orders accordingly. Our food was delicious, my sake was nicely hot on a chilly evening, and we enjoyed our dinner before my wife had to rush off to work. It's pricey to eat out and this was no exception but the quality and service enticed me to return.

Poke bowl was good. Only one server was working, but he kept up with everything.

Great food but do not recommend going at peak hours. Need more servers than what they had. Waited over 10 minutes to even be greeted and given water by our server once we were seated.

We got food from here during our visit to Cuyahoga national park. They did was delicious and packed with Thai flavors. No wonder it had such great reviews. Only thing that I did not like was the noodles in pad kee mao which was not the traditional for noodles. My fav was the chicken wings. We really enjoyed the meal.

It's not a bad place to visit at all. Overall good food, good atmosphere, good service. I would absolutely come back. However, I do not recommend getting any type of sushi. It's really good, don't get me wrong. It's just insanely overpriced for the portion sizes.

Ceiling, floors, and bathrooms need to be cleaned. Sushi was subpar. Ramen was not enjoyable. I'm sure there's good stuff on the menu, but that's what I had.

This used to be my favorite restaurant. Now, they are consistently under staffed and the hostess literally takes the phone off the hook in the evening hours. We were late for our reservation due to marathon parking and was told too bad. It truly is sad. I hope they find their way.

Severe staffing issues result in a 10-15 minute wait over the lunch hour despite the fact that dozens of tables in the front of the restaurant are empty. This has happened four times in the past month. Twice I had no choice but to leave and take my business elsewhere. What a shame because the food otherwise is excellent.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday and the atmosphere is very inviting and relaxing. The crab Rangoon is bomb and the sauce is like no other I've ever tasted I highly recommend those to start. The chicken satay was also very good option. I got the cilantro roll which was very very good. For my main entree I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken. Absolutely perfection! First time I've been here and it's really a gem. The restaurant was also clean. The cocktails were on point.

I ordered the panang curry, it was delicious. It was a bit sweeter than I expected but still great. The salad with the sweet onion dressing was great as well. Our server was very patient with us as well.

The place is nice, clean and comfortable. Danny, our waitress, had a great attitude, kept us updated on the state of the food, while the food itself is definitely of quality.

The food was fantastic, I had the vegetable pad Thai and hot and sour mushroom soup and both were absolutely delicious. The environment was wonderful, and the service was fantastic. Our server, Michelle, was very quick, informative, and overall great. A very good experience overall, would definitely recommend.

This place is right down town, very cute. There’s lots of seating, the sushi was excellent, we had been craving good sushi and so we ordered a few different rolls, all were great. Their cocktails are tasty, and the fried cheesecake was decadent! We will be back for sure!

Sushi is the best around. Great entree selection. Parking can be hard if there is a rubber ducks game.

Love this Thai restaurant! I’ve had their food multiple times, both dining in and taking out, and it’s been delicious each time! If you like a classic Pad Thai, that dish is awesome. The portions are a great size for the prices. I’m not a big sushi fan but my friends say it’s very good. Our server was incredibly accommodating and helpful in answering questions and getting us anything we needed so quickly. The atmosphere is pretty casual but I would say it’s great for a nice dinner to celebrate something. I will definitely be returning here!

I ordered carryout but had never been inside the restaurant, it's beautiful and elegant inside, I was sorry I couldn't dine in that evening but will love to go back. The crab fried rice was delicious with shrimp added, I loved it. The chicken spring rolls were ok. They were also very fast completing my carryout order earlier than expected. Very pleasant first experience. Can't wait to go back.
