Overall, Thai Sawatdee exceeded my expectations with its delicious food, excellent service, and cozy ambiance. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes from their extensive menu! Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine.

The waiter was new and not overly familiar with Thai food, but a very nice man and attentive.

Thaw Sawatdee is consistently excellent across their locations! We ordered crab rangoon, pineapple fried rice with chicken, and spicy noodle with tofu and it was all so tasty! They have the BEST pineapple fried rice, with lots of curry powder, and their tofu is nice and crispy. Takeout is easy and quick, with food usually ready in 20 minutes. Looking forward to getting food here again!

Crazyyyy sweet pad thai. Reallyyy salty basil rice. Uneatable

I’m disappointed in this place. As a Southeast Asian myself, the $12 Drunken Noodles with beef dish I ordered was wrong wrong wrong. Wrong noodles, wrong sauce.

The dish was made up of large pad thai stir fry noodles, not flat wide chow fun type of noodles. I could’ve overlooked that if the sauce was correct… it wasn’t. I believe the sauce was the weird low grade substitute sweet yellow pad thai sauce that some ThaiResturants use to get over on people who don’t know better. That sauce isn’t even correct Pad Thai sauce (because proper Pad Thai is phenomenal). It’s not drunken noodles sauce and this dish was definitely not drunken noodles.

The BEST green curry hands down. Always a go-to. Friendly staff.

The pad Thai had an old slice of lime that gave off a bitter flavor. The color of the pad Thai was orange and the noodles all clumped together. The papaya salad was watery and just was not edible. I am not sure why the recipes are off but they need to be improved. Money was not well spent.

A nice little restaurant in a fairly non-descript strip mall the folks were friendly and helpful and the dishes were prepared quickly and were quite tasty. If you're staying nearby this is a pretty simple walk and there are several other choices right nearby.

If you like to explore for interesting and delicious food, you should one hundred percent try Thai Sawatdee. Very flavorful dishes. Very good food for very reasonable Prices as well.

I love Sawatdee! I usually go to the one inside of the Harris Teeter on Cloverdale but now that I've moved, I visited this location on Healy. It was so good! Anytime I am in the mood for Pho, this is the spot. The dumplings are Shumai (pork and shrimp) and they are delicious! 10 out of 10 I would recommend!!

Great spot for amazing Thai. The pad thai was fire, and so was the curry! Lunch special comes with a salad and 2 spring rolls. You can't beat it. Will be back!

Absolutely delicious. The pad king was beautifully authentic and delicious. The Sawatadee salad dressing is a wonderfully crafted gem. The high quality ingredients palpate life into their wonderfully crafted meals. I feel grateful for having stumbled into my new favorite restaurant in Winston Salem.

The red and yellow curry is the best, the walls are disgustingly dirty, and if you wish for boiling water with lime to drink she gets it from the hot water tap.

They apparently didn't get my online order, then couldn't refund me, so I waited and the trout dish was rubbery and tasteless. My dog wouldn't even eat it. I also found a hair in my curry dish. So sad because we previously had a great experience with the same dishes dining in. The shrimp spring rolls were excellent and fresh, the tom yum soup was good but there was no way to specify spiciness online when ordering. The papaya salad was good once I added my own spices at home. I won't order for pick up again but they have the best shrimp spring rolls in rice paper around. Hopefully it was just an off day because I want to love this place.

Ok so this place was absolutely delicious. Came here on a Sunday, and they even had lunch specials. Each came with two spring rolls and a salad. The curries were super good, so much flavor. Also had a chicken Pho and it brought me to life. Really really good food 👍🏽

We stopped by for lunch. The waitress was nice and the reviews were good, but I couldn't finish my food. They put an enormous amount of sugar in everything.
Can you imagine for a noodle entree (Pad Won Sen) to be as sweet as a dessert?

I hate giving bad reviews. Being a huge fan of Thai food, we decided to get try this place tonight through Doordash. We ordered Pad See Ew and an order of cheese rolls. These two dishes are pretty standard so we felt they would be good things to try first. The Pad See Ew was very sweet compared to most, they appear to use the pre-packaged noodles you can find in most standard grocery stores, the broccoli was off-color and tasted old. The cheese rolls for sure had been sitting out for a while as they were very stale and pretty tough to eat. I had seen others recommend this place. Anyone can have an off night so I will for sure try them again and adjust my rating accordingly.

This used to be a place I’d splurge and order takeout from. It was a treat because the Pad See Ew was absolutely the right amount of spicy and flavor. Ordered for the first time in a year or two to treat myself. It was spicy but everything had a rotten flavor. I realized after eating some of the broccoli that the broccoli they used was rotten. It had a horrible rotten smell and taste. I’m so sad that one of my favorite places has bad quality now just like so many other restaurants now :( the fresh roll was delicious though.

My family and I have been here a few times, the food is always good and very flavorful. The only issue we had is that service was slow on this visit. There was only one staff member in the dining room. She was seating guests, placing orders, busing tables and answering the phone for take out orders. I guess someone must have called out.

We decided to try this place out and The staff was great. The food was disappointing.
The food was not up to the same standard as other Thai food that I have experienced.
The food lacked the seasoning that makes Thai food unique. My family agreed. We ordered chicken pad see ew and the noodles were dry. The golden shrimp rolls were okay, the dressing on the side salad tasted like peanuts and ginger which wasn’t in line with the request for nothing with peanuts. My mother could not finish the vegetables and vermicelli noodles (forgot the name) due to the texture and dryness. The family time was nice but this felt like a waste of money. We didn’t finish our food which is unusual for my family.

Not sure what happened tonight but our take out meal was awful. It was our first time ordering here based on positive reviews and were were so disappointed.

I ordered pad woon Sen and my husband got pork fried rice. Both dishes had no flavor to them at all. I don't think my noodle dish actually any sauce at all as it was colorless but just wet. It just tasted like plain boiled noodles and veggies. There was no visible sauce or seasoning. Chicken was plain and dry.

My husband's rice dish was also extremely bland. The most noticeable flavor was that of the plain egg mixed into the rice.

We ended up using our own sauces and a lot of seasoning at home to make it reasonable to eat a small portion since we spent the money already. The rest went in the trash unfortunately.

Our crab Rangoons were fine, no identifiable crab though. Tasted mostly just like salty cream cheese. Dipping Sauce was good.

Again, I am not sure why both our our entrees were such a miss as this place has good reviews overall. We are just generally confused about the whole thing because it was so different compared to the reviews and pictures.

Hopefully it was just an off day for them.
There are so many good Thai places in Winston. It is unlikely we will order again from here with all other options around town.

This is our favorite little spot to enjoy lunch every time we are in Winston-Salem. Great food, the vegetables are always so fresh and crunchy, great price and best waitress 💯🙏!!!

Stopped here on the way home to Raleigh from Boone. Boy oh boy was I surprised by how good the Penang Curry, Larb, Pineapple Fried Rice and Tom Kha Gai soup was. I would highly recommend anyone that loves Thai curries to give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I stopped here at the recommendation of her sister. I got the chicken satay and she got the green curry (med spice). The food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious! I only wish I had an extra stomach to have eaten it all. Would definitely recommend and dine here again.

We have been going to this place for last 10 years because we loved their food. However, this is the first time we were disappointed with their food. Everything we ordered was too sweet even the ones we requested to prepare extra spicy. When I asked them if the chef is new they replied no. When I said everyhting was too sweet, th waiter replied..."Yeah, it happens sometime when they are too busy". The restaurant was less than half full when we arrived and placed our order. I am going to miss their good food.

We love having Thai Sewatdee close to our office at Jim Sells Triad Realty! Their menu includes offerings from Thai, Korean and Vietnamese cuisines. I especially love their Spicy Duck Salad and Red Curry. Others on my team prefer Pho or Shrimp Pad Thai.

Amazing Thai food!

Hands down the BEST Thai food in Winston-Salem. This location is the only full restaurant- the other is located inside a Harris Teeter and better suited for take out orders. Either way you cut it the food is superb, the service friendly and quick and affordable prices especially at lunch hours. I wish they would consider opening a restaurant in downtown because the other Thai restaurants don’t hold a candle to what they have. Thank you for being my safe delicious comfort meal always.

Delicious food every time we come here. Spring rolls as an appetizer, delicious, I had the special, roasted duck soup with noodles, baby bok choy and wontons. Huge bowl. I wasn't able to finish it all but it was so good and savory. My husband had chicken pad thai spicey. I will learn how to eat with chopsticks lol.

I ordered Won Sen and Tom Yum soup regularly via GrubHub. I also write a note that says "No pleastic cutleries" but I still receive a lot of plastic cutleries compare to the number of food order. Stop wasting so much non-biodegradable plastic. You guys did not follow instructions for over a year now. Please read and follow instructions.

My husband and I loved our meals here! I only knocked off a star because I ordered fried tofu in my dish but got chicken. I’m not a strict vegan and I was hungry so I ate, it was delicious, but someone more strict than me might’ve been pretty upset by that. Thanks guys, look forward to eating here again.

Covid 19 clean

First time trying Thai Sawatdee for Take out. I love for affordable the menu was. I'm giving four stars because the wings were overcooked or cooked them in the garlic sauce too long; also sping rolls were too thin. Overall I would come again, I'll just make sure I get plain wings and also try the fresh rolls.

Great food, service and prices! They are so clean especially during all the CoVid concerns.

I ordered a side of duck... I was charged for it. Almost a 20$ dish. It was chicken which I was served. Every person who orders duck, especially by phone, knows what it looks like. Tastes like and how greasy it feels when you pull it off it's bones. They charged me almost 2x for the same dish on thier menu. I will not return to any of their affiliate restaurants
