Best pad Thai in the triangle 🙏🏻

Diner Review №2

Best drunken noodles in town! I get the shrimp drunken noodles level 2 and it’s always so flavorful, they even cut the tails off on the shrimp (many other restaurants in the area don’t) I appreciate that!
The spice level is 2 is just right not too spicy at all. I’ve ordered the egg rolls, mango rice dessert, I also recently tried the Pad Thai, it was nice to have the option without the crushed peanuts. Everything I have had has been great!

Thanks YinDee for consistently serving quality food!

Diner Review №3

Drunken noodle and spring rolls are good. Mango stick rice is different from what I expected.

My new favorite place to go and eat. Everything was so delicious it had me emotional 🥹🌸

Food in photos: Thom Khem and Pad Thai (Beef)

Update: still one of my favorite places to eat! Added more photos. Two dishes in the photos are the same as my review, the new dish is the drunken noodles.

Diner Review №13

There are not enough words to describe how amazing our food was from here. We ordered pad thai & drunken noodles and will absolutely be back for more!

Diner Review №14

Their fried rice is the best I have ever had. I went twice in two days to be sure but man its so good. Could throw some extra shrimps in there but the fresh veggies and spices honestly steal the show anyway. Small restaurant that, like their spice level, packs a punch.

Update 12/12/24:
Have been working remotely for the past month or two. Went back today and it still hits!

Diner Review №15

I've ordered from this place a few times and the food has always been great. My fav dish is the Lao egg noodles, I love the vegetable assortment and the sauce is DELICIOUS. I've had the pad thai as well which was good. I feel like you get good portions for the cost.

Always satisfied and would recommend to anyone :)

Diner Review №16

Can’t say enough about how good this was. It’s a cozy little hidden gem with super friendly staff. This may be the best Lao and Thai food in the area. Everything is very fresh and made to order. The Pad see ew was so delicious and comforting on a cold night. Go check it out!

Diner Review №17

Phenomenal.
Drunken noodles and pad see ew are both incredible. On the spicy scale from 1-5, I would rate the 2 as a medium hot relative to American cuisine.
The bubble tea was also a fantastic dessert after a spicy dish. The taro is great and the honey dew is out of this world.
I cant recommend Yin Dee enough

Diner Review №18

Grab food to go from here when leaving work and usually have good luck with everything. Over multiple orders, have figured out what survives a 40 min trek home.
Got dinner last night and for some odd reason, the Lao fried rice tasted off. It had a coconut flavor that we’ve never tasted before. This is usually the dish I get and now will have to find another or just head elsewhere. The coconut flavor just didn’t make sense and ruined the dish. Hoping it was just a one time mistake.

Diner Review №19

I am always reluctant to criticize a restaurant based on one dish but it's all I have to go on. I ordered the hot basil which is a stir fry with vegetables and your choice of protein. Sadly it was no better than what I can probably cook at home - a fairly tasteless stir fry. Less importantly it a no frills restaurant with minimal seating and no table service at all. You might do better with a different menu choice but I doubt it.
Based on their response to my less-than-stellar review, you can see that they expect their customers also to be busboys. Ce la vie.

Diner Review №20

Decided to try a new restaurant and what better way to do so than to get Thai food. My mom ordered the drunken noodles and I ordered the broccoli stir fry with shrimp. My dish was very flavorful and had a lot of sauce. I wasn't happy that I had to pay extra for the shrimp when the sign said it included a protein, but it was still worth it. On the other hand, my moms dish was not the best. The noodles were chewy and clumped together which I assumed meant it was over cooked. The vegetables were way too big and could have been cut smaller. There was barely any sauce to bring it all together and the sauce that was in the dish had a weird taste to it.

We would go back again, but would definitely try something different off the menu. We would also consider going during the day instead of at night near closing.

Diner Review №21

Nice Lao and Thai restaurant! The fried spring rolls are some of the best that I've had and I appreciate that they have different options for meat, since I can't eat pork. I got the lao style pho and it was really enjoyable! I will be back.

Food was yummy

Diner Review №24

I haven’t found mango sticky rice anywhere!!! Very excited about it. Drunken noodle with chicken was great. Spice level 3/5 was very spicy beware

Diner Review №25

Great authentic food. Amazing.

Diner Review №26

Good prices, Lao egg noodle was amazing, quick and friendly service, would definitely come back!

Diner Review №27

The food was amazing. Made to order. Hot, fresh and delicious! Seating was for 2 tops only. We pulled up a chair. I recommend this spot . They close at 7pm and not open every day.

Diner Review №28

Really enjoyed the pad thai from this restaurant! My coworkers and I were staying in the hotel near by and this restaurant was perfect for dinner. It’s walking distance from the hotel and the service was very friendly! It’s a small restaurant, so there is not a lot of space for large groups. I’ll be returning soon and I can’t wait to visit this place again and try something new!

Diner Review №29

Always delicious. Best Pad Thai of any place I've tried in the Triangle by far

Diner Review №30

Amazing food! Please come and get some thing interesting cause its so good. Watch out for those chili peppers tho they can get spicy fast! We got the drunken noodles, fried shrimp rolls and a beef thing. The shrimp rolls were my fav.

Not a lot seating space but that just adds to the ambiance.

Would come again if in 30 mins distance!

Diner Review №35

Good place, had the pad Thai

Diner Review №36

Ok Thai place and best for lunch if you are close by. Fast service and friendly with ok food just not much food for the price. More of a fast food atmosphere and limited seating inside. Self service by the way like fast food place too😅 they do have an outdoor seating area at end of the building that they don’t really advertise. You will have to ask. However if you decide to sit there, you need to carry your own plates outside and bring them back (completely self-service)

Diner Review №37

Good food 😋

Diner Review №38

My hidden spot to get warm mango sticky rice :)

Diner Review №39

My favorite place to grab comfort food that reminds me of home-cooked food from my Laotian family. Papaya salad, lao sausage sticky rice etc is so good. Wish you still had beef jerky though!

Diner Review №40

The food was so flavorful and fresh. Nice portion sizes and great prices. This is authentic Thai & Laos cuisine, not the Americanized Thai. So you may not see dishes you are familiar with, which is a huge plus for me! The inside is cozy and seating is limited. The customers are expected to clean the table after their meal. They provide sanitizing wipes and a bin near the door to place your dishes. The establishment is very clean. We will be back!

Diner Review №41

Great lil restaurant (more so of a carry-out place), the food is fresh and authentic and they spice it the Asian way so if you can't handle spice I recommend you order it mild.

Diner Review №42

This is easily one of the best restaurants in the Triangle. The food is always on point and made with love. The owner always greets you with a smile and you can tell each dish is made with care. The dine in tables are first come first serve which I personally find efficient and low key. There are some weeks where I'll literally go every other day. The kapoon is my go to. I get it every time. The Lao egg noodle, the pad thai, and the Nam Khao are also very good

Diner Review №43

Simply delicious!!

Diner Review №44

Diner Review №45

Great food! Huge portions! Very flavorful and delicious.

Diner Review №46

Authentic se Asian street food. Tasty fried rice. They will make whatever you ask for.

Diner Review №47

I ordered the drunken noodles and they seemed like they had been sitting a long time but that is to be expected with delivery I guess. I enjoyed the mango sticky rice.

Diner Review №48

Wanted some grub on 4th of July, before the bbq dinner- this place all that was opened but they did not disappoint! The food came out quick, large portions and they had free water, chilli oils and sauces readily available. Plus you can pick your spice level 1-5! My father had never had this cuisine before and he ate everything. I have been to Laos & Thailand before and this food was very close if not just as good as the food there. Wonderful service, lovely bathroom - space to sit and eat. Will definitely be coming back! (Vientiane fried rice tofu - Pad Seew - Chicken paddy)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yin Dee Lao & Thai Restaurant, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I ordered the Khao Piak, Laotian sausage, and sticky rice, and everything was absolutely amazing. There are no Laotian food options where I live, so I always try to find a good Lao place when I'm traveling. Yin Dee exceeded all my expectations!

The Khao Piak was flavorful and comforting, the Laotian sausage was perfectly seasoned, and the sticky rice complemented the sausage wonderfully. The staff were also incredibly friendly. Next time, I want to try the papaya salad and mango sticky rice. I'm thrilled to have found this gem and will definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place and love it! I travel to Laos and Thailand a lot and it tastes just like it reminds me of all my vacations there! Lao papaya salad is very good and pad Thai is amazing not too sweet like other places just right😀 their spice 1-5 and 5 is just like how they make it VERY HOT!!! Highly recommend will come back soon!!

Diner Review №61

This must be the worst thai food or food in general i have ever tasted. It used to be pretty good at least few months back. Its not thai at all.
1. Pad thai: this is worst of all. Its just a colored noodles which has 0 resemblance to pad thai.
2. Vietnamese fried rice is like curry powder rice
3. Lao egg noodle: this is the 2nd worst. It just tastes like old floor.
4. Laab gai: this is the only edible item today.

I have to throw most of the portions of all items except laab gai. Never ever going back again!

Diner Review №62

I ordered catering for a work event and the staff was phenomenal. They got back to me quickly with pricing and portion sizes. They were very accommodating and friendly. Food was awesome and had plenty for all. I would highly recommend!

Diner Review №63

Drunken noodles were fabulous, very fresh and Delicious.

Diner Review №64

Yum! Everything was sooo delicious and flavorful! I’m glad we found this place. We got tofu drunken noodles, tofu red curry, and larb gai. There’s five levels of spice to choose from. There are 6 two-seater tables inside that can be pushed together if you have more people, 3 individual stool seats at the elevated bar table, and they have multiple picnic tables outside (left side) of the building. It’s a casual place, mainly for take-out. The left wall has a large poster of their menu and you can order at the cashier. Intercom will call out your number when your food is ready for pick-up at the front. We’ll definitely be back!

Diner Review №67

Had some delicious Laotian dishes at this place! Everything tasted good but my favorite was Nam Khao!

Diner Review №68

Stopped in on a whim and was blown away by the quality of food. Yum Beef was incredible. Amazing spectrum of flavors and perfect amount of spice. Makes me wish I lived here rather than just visiting. Worth every penny!

Diner Review №69

I wished for long time to have authentic Thai in triangle. What I use to eat back in Chicago. It was very good taste wise quantity wise and price wise. I am definitely coming back. Keep the sauce consistent I am coming again and again.

Diner Review №70

Authentic food definitely worth it and prices are very good. Not many tables seems like more of a takeout place, but either way I’m coming back.

Diner Review №71

Food tastes absolutely incredible and authentic. Love supporting family owned restaurants!

Diner Review №72

It was closed on Saturday 7pm

Diner Review №73

Not enough seating

Diner Review №74

I just picked up fried rice, pad thai and drunken noodles. Food is very delicious.

Diner Review №75

Amazing food

Diner Review №76

This is the gem you always hope to find when visiting a new town! This is not a fancy Asian fusion place that overcharges for lackluster food and modern atmosphere. This is authentic, homemade, affordable food that does not disappoint. Simple menu that won't overwhelm, until that first bite of your delicious dish! There is limited seating and the dining area isn't anything to brag about. But it is an honest and simple place that focuses on the quality of their food. Everything was great. We had the spring rolls, Lao egg rolls, Lao egg noodles, pad thai, fried garlic pork and laab beef. All were tasty, and we had a hard time remembering if we had ever had better before. Whether we did or not, this is an A+ establishment that is well worth a trip!

Best Padthai I ever had

Diner Review №81

Diner Review №82

Super tasty mixed-Asian food with lots of vegan options.

Diner Review №83

Delicious! Very authentic. It's been hard to find authentic food in NC, but this place is amazing. Great selection of vegan options, thank you!

Diner Review №84

Very delicious Thai food, fresh and amazing taste and reasonable price. We ordered mee kha tee and Vientiane fried rice. Both were fresh and worth it. Must try!

Diner Review №85

Love their food. Drunken Noodle is amazing as is the red curry and mango sticky rice. Wish the restaurant had more seating as there's not always a table available.

Diner Review №86

Best Noodle place in the Triangle (and I've tried quite a few). I've been ordering takeout pretty regularly, and it's like clockwork: always ready on time if not sooner, always hot, and never any mistakes. Extremely tasty, reliable, and reasonably priced.

If there is a staple in our house it's Yin Dee...to the point where if one person has food here alone they wouldn't mention it just to avoid the wrath of others!!
Be it a walk-in lunch on a weekday, a dinner takeout...we have never ever been disappointed...that should speak volumes in today's day and age....to serve good food is one thing but consistently over years...another..if you walk-in you'd know it's all in the love... especially for those from Asian households would know our love is always reflected in the food we serve our guests and Yin Dee is a reflection of this.
Must Haves: Fried Rice (we prefer really spicy) but 2/3 is just right, drunken noodles, pad Thai, shrimp rolls

We just tried their new family tray fried rice..the same thing in a larger quantity...who in their same mind would say no to more of what they love 😆 although an option to add more proteins like before would help..

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №90

I think this is Laos restaurant than Thai. In any case, the papaya salad was one of the best I had in US. Most papaya salad I had in US was smothered with fish sauce which was inedible. Their papaya salad (som tum) is pretty close to what I've had in Thailand. The only problem is that the spicy level is not consistent, so it's your luck. Fried garlic pork was not good. I felt like it was not made to order. Lao sausage was also disappointment. I expected sausage like taste but it was more like ground pork in a casing. Drunken noodle was good but little too sweet for my taste. Overall it's good, not top notch but I will keep coming for their papaya salad at least.

Diner Review №91

Yum, yum, yum! The drunken noodles with chicken were so tasty. The sauce flavor was rich and complex, which I've had a hard time finding elsewhere in the area. The noodles and veggies were fresh. I also enjoyed the mango coconut sticky rice. My order for pickup was hot and ready to go when I arrived. I've definitely found my go-to Thai/Laotian place.

Diner Review №92

They are my absolute go to place for Pad Thai!

Diner Review №93

Update*** I went back again visiting town and the food is still amazing!! We love seeing Lao/Thai business strive! If you wanna eat authentic Lao and Thai food this is the place!!

If you want to eat authentic Lao food, this is a place to go! My friends and I come here all the time if we miss eating our parents food! Lao papaya salad is just like how my mom makes it!! The papaya salad on the menu is lao style just doesn’t have the meats included. Everything on the menu looks so good and true to Lao food! Lao & Proud!

Everything is just so good we will for sure come back again!!

My boyfriends little brother had the chicken satay with sticky rice & peanut sauce & he LOVED it!!

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Excellent, fresh food! I love the spicy basil and spice level. Be careful they know what Thai hot really means.

Diner Review №96

I ordered Drunken noodles with chicken - perfect blend of asian spices and herbs, it was mild spicy as I ordered.
Red curry- It wasnt spicy at all, was expecting low to mild spicy, but I liked the taste.

Diner Review №97

Just ordered the drunken noodle with chicken and spice level 3. Great flavor, good portion size. Super quick.

Only comment is maybe a little more protein could have been added. I’d still order it again regardless!

Diner Review №98

Simple setup and menu, but the result is outstanding! For dine in, you order and pay in advance. Condiments and seating are self serve/bus. All vegan and vegetarian options are clearly labeled. We got pad thai, fried rice, Drunken noodle and red curry, and everything came out literally steaming hot, which was the best part! Portions are great and pricing very reasonable, this will be a new go to for us. The only negative is a lack of panang curry, one of our favorite dishes, I hope they can add it eventually.

Diner Review №99

Much better than either of the food halls in Raleigh. Real sad Old North Meats didn't last long

Diner Review №100

So glad I stumbled upon this place, a cute little place with few seating options, their service was top notch I walked in and pal ex an order food was ready within couple of minutes. Loved their drunken noodles and red Thai curry. Will be back again soon ♥️

Diner Review №106

Diner Review №107

First time trying Laos food. It was delicious. Hole in the wall kind of place. Seating is limited best to just get a too go.

Diner Review №108

Best tasting food in the area (perhaps the state). Admittedly I'm not an expert on Lao cuisine (much more experience with Thai and Vietnamese) but literally everything we've ever ordered here has been good to great (noodles, crispy rice, curry...). This place actually ranks in my personal top five of all time for SE Asian cuisine with the others being in Thailand, Austin (DeeDee's), NYC and London. I've also eaten here more than 20 times already (at least) over the past year or so and I've never walked away thinking "well, this wasn't their best day". That's freaking amazing consistency (coming from someone who has worked in restaurants before). It's probably because it's a family run place and the food is cooked by the actual owners (yes, they are Lao) who clearly take pride in their food.
Anyway, more good news is that the price is quite reasonable as well and the portions are solid. The spice levels are real you should know what you're doing if you order the top level. The "staff" (family) are friendly and hardworking. The only things you should be prepared for: Very limited seating that can only accommodate two (unless you eat at the picnic tables outside), you'll need to clean your own table (esp if the previous diner was messy and inconsiderate), the decor feels authentic but not remotely fancy, and if you go during meal/busy times, you may have to wait 20-30 min for your food. However, if your priority is on top notch SE Asian food at good value, you can't go wrong or do any better.

Diner Review №109

Best Thai food in RTP!

Diner Review №110

I love this place. The food is delicious. I can taste the love the team has for their cuisine.

Diner Review №111

Best Thai food in the RTP area! Pad Thai and Viet Fried Rice are so good! Small place, closes early, limited seating, and quality does get impacted on busier days so go early and go on weekdays.

Diner Review №112

This is my go to for Thai food. My favorites are the Red Curry and the Drunken Noodles.

We also did a catering order with them and they were very accommodating.

Would definitely recommend.

Diner Review №113

So good! A friend took me year 1 year ago and I instantly knew I would come back for the Me Ka Tee; delicious!!

Diner Review №114

Omg! amazing, delicious, come eat here! I got the drunken noodles and the fresh shrimp spring rolls!! SO GOOD! I’ll be definitely coming back! Service is also great! Food came out fast! And the employees are polite and friendly. 10/10

Diner Review №115

Really great restaurant and all the food here is delicious! They have a good mix of authentic Lao food and other more common southeast Asian dishes (Pad Thai, Pho, etc.) I had the Nam Khao and it was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend Yin Dee, you can’t go wrong!

Diner Review №116

Our new favorite spot! We’ve ordered take out from Yin Dee 5 times and it’s been overwhelmingly delicious each time! We’ve tried Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Red Curry, Thai Spicy Basil, and Mango Sticky Rice. Easy 5 stars.

Diner Review №117

I ordered the chili wings and drunken noodles. I was quite disappointed in both. I could taste that wings were reheated from the day before. Chicken has a distinct flavor and texture the next day. The drunken noodles weren't good either. I could taste the sauce, but no pepper or onion flavor. The dish was super oil as well. I have a stomach ache.

Diner Review №118

Diner Review №119

Some of the best Laos/Thai food I’ve gotten in the triangle. Really enjoyed the hot basil and having a lunchtime meal in the cozy restaurant.

Diner Review №120

Tiny little place, but terrific food. They know how to level spices so if you want scorching hot they can deliver it. I wish they had a few 4 top tables, but it is tiny. Food is made fresh so it might be a wait., But it is worth it.

Diner Review №121

Diner Review №122

Had a quick overnight in town and really wanted Thai food. I ordered the tofu pad Thai and shrimp spring rolls and they did not disappoint. I did Uber eats and it was quick. They have really nice portions. Also the spice selection is accurate so don’t overdo it.

Diner Review №123

First time stopping by for lunch and will definitely be back! Drunken noodles were delicious and like that you can pick level of spice.

Diner Review №124

So, so yummy and nicely aromatic.
I also really enjoyed how the tofu was prepared, as did the rest of my family which is a mix of vegetarians and non vegetarians.
I also thought the pad Thai was amazing.

Diner Review №125

Food is phenomenal and ready on time. Will definitely order again.

Diner Review №126

Absolutely banger Pad Thai

Diner Review №127

Fresh rolls were passable. Nothing memorable. Drunken Noodles (ordered with spice level 2 - which is between "mild" and "hot" on their menu), were shockingly bland and oily. I don't typically salt my food much at all; especially not Asian food. But, having no soy sauce in my office, I had to add salt to bring some flavor out. If the only way they can get flavor out of this recipe is via hot spice, they should revisit the recipe.

Diner Review №128

Delicious Laotian/Southeast Asian food in Morrisville! Came here for lunch with friends and ordered several different things: Mee Kha Tee, Crispy Tofu, Sweet Sesame Chili Wings, and Lao Papaya Salad with Sausages. Really enjoyed the Mee Kha Tee and the Papaya Salad! The chili wings was not bad but we didn’t like the glazing. Will definitely be back for more papaya salad! Seating was extremely limited inside and each table can only seat 2 people. Some more seating available outside.

Diner Review №129

Great noodles, spice level right on. Flavorful. Small dining area but worked out okay. Definitely putting this place into the lunch rotation.

Diner Review №130

Diner Review №131

Very delicious foods and local atmosphere. I like getting druken noodles and pho.

Diner Review №132

Got takeout here and the drunken noodles were absolutely amazing 🤩

Diner Review №133

Diner Review №134

Absolutely the best Thai food I’ve ever had! It’s your basic walk-in, family run, order-from-the-board, daily-special-posted cafe - no ambiance, but who eats that, right? They pour every ounce and dollar into their cuisine.
I had the daily special of a seafood and chicken stew, my friend had the noodle soup. Cross sampling confirmed both dishes were phenomenal in taste and flavor explosion! I like spicy foods, so I asked for a 4 on a scale of 1-5, and it was just right.
Very reasonable prices.
If you are anywhere in the area, you gotta go here!

Diner Review №135

We find this place recently in search for trying a new place for Asian cuisine. We are vegetarians, so initially I was skeptical about how the taste will be, but to my surprise, it was of top quality. Honestly one of the best vegetarian fried rice I have had. They do have limited vegetarian options but what they have is tasty! They are a small place, but the staff is so friendly, welcoming and always accommodating. Food is cooked here per order. Nothing is premade that I think stands out and the reason their food tastes so fresh! They have a patio place next to the restaurant which is really nice. Prices of their dishes are very well balanced. Overall, would love to go back and recommend it very happily!

I recently dined at this wonderful family-owned Lao restaurant, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu featured a delightful array of authentic Lao dishes, each bursting with vibrant flavors and carefully crafted with love and passion. I personally enjoyed the S5. Sour Chicken Soup as it reminded me of my mom’s cooking. The owners and their staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional, providing attentive service and helpful recommendations. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh and the recipes were passed down through generations, as every bite was a true taste of Lao cuisine. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, making it a fantastic value for a memorable family meal. There is also plenty of outside seating to the left of the building complex. I highly recommend this Lao restaurant to anyone looking to indulge in delicious food, rich culture, and the warmth of a family-run establishment.

Stopped in today for some good thai food and was blown away. The Pho was amazing. pork egg rolls also amazing. Chicken pad thai was also great. I will be back again next time I am in the area. Gem of a place after eating bbq and fried food for a few days. Fresh, delicious and staff was very friendly and happy to help with our order. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Diner Review №147

Had been to this place couple of months back always Thai fried rice have been my go to dish here. The flavors changed a bit recently but it’s on a positive side so can’t complain. Tried the red curry it tasted more sweet than usual. If you one looking for some spicy food I would suggest ask for spice level of 4 else go for 2 or 3 if you are at lower spice levels. Small mediocre place to dine not so fancy. But usually quick in service.

Diner Review №148

Im from Colorado and this restaurant is a really great place to eat at! The food is so tasty!! 🔥 I give them 10 stars 🌟

Super-good! Highly recommend Thom Khem. Next time will try Larb Gai and Papaya Salad.

Anthony Bourdain would've loved this place. Hole in the wall, authentic Lao and Thai food, amazing. Gotta try it. Only wish they had longer hours for dinner time takeout. 730 is a little early. But worth it!

We loved the place, the self service and the instructions. The food was well made, however I was very surprised to discover that my dishes were so suit. Please check before you order, if you care about this. I had an egg roll, and then the red curry, that to me tasted like an oversweeten desert. If you don't expect your food to be sweet, please check first that the dish is not intended to be sweet. There is no hint on the menu, but apparently it is expected to be sweet traditionally.

Owner and staff are Laotion, nice people. Food is authentic and ingredients are from that region and includes some Thai as well. This is a good street food level, is recommend order and pick up rather than eat in.

Diner Review №165

This is my newest favorite place for lunch. The Pad Thai is incredible. I've had a few different dishes here and they are all made fresh and taste amazing. It's worth your time to stop in.

Diner Review №166

I have been ordering from Yin dee since last few months and food has been really good. Unfortunately, today the lao noodles and one of the drunken noodles was extremely spicy and oily compared to prior times even though I ordered medium spice, only difference this time was I ordered online and I am not sure if that makes any difference. So probably double check the spice in call or in person.

Diner Review №167

The food is authentic and very tasteful. The customer service is great as well! The food portions and prices are great. Highly recommend to give it a try

Diner Review №168

This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. All the food is delicious, and the family that owns the place is very friendly. I work nearby and make it a point to come here once a week if I can.

The only small downside is that there is very little room for seating inside so if you were going somewhere with a large group this is not a good option, however there is an outdoor picnic table area around the side of the building for the warmer months.

Update: new owners - smaller portions and flavor is not the same unfortunately. :(

Great Lao & Southeast Asian food! Authentic and not the typical “Americanized Asian food.” My wife is Laotian and she loved it! Come here instead of overpriced Bida Monda in downtown Raleigh. 😁👍 We ordered extra food intentionally so we could take a bunch home as leftovers! 😋👍👍

Diner Review №173

It’s the best Pad Thai I’ve had. I drive over 20 minutes rather than going to closer options because it’s so good.

Diner Review №174

Such an amazing place to stop by and dine In beyond friendly customer service too!!!! I was visiting town for the Chinese new year lights and was looking for Thai food to eat and Yin dee popped up. I had the Drunken noodles beef and pad Thai chicken the flavor was very pleasant and savory!! It’ll be my favorite from now on!! :) and not to mention it’s a self service environment which is always good to have sometimes I don’t like to be bothered when eating good food like this!!! So that was even better. The lady upfront was so nice and made me feel welcomed Im definitely going back for more!… Overall this is a great place to eat I would recommend to friends and family!!!!!

Absolutely delicious 😋

Diner Review №185

Learned that the restaurant is under new ownership when I just recently ate here. But I must say the food there was delicious! Will definitely be coming back when I’m in the area again. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Give this place a try.

Diner Review №186

The food here is the most authentic Lao food you’ll ever have in the triangle area! Family-owned and sweet family! Great customer service, they will help you choose the right dish to eat! Drunken noodle and pad Thai are my go to and it’s the best since the new ownership!!

**As of August 1st, 2022 there is new ownership and I can no longer endorse my review below.

8 months earlier…

Hands down the best Thai food in the area!!! The generous portions are always, fresh and flavorful. Service is excellent. No exaggeration, I am here at least once a week and would 100% recommend.

Diner Review №188

Super kind and delicious, I worked with Yin Dee to cater an event. I was able to get chicken laab and sides for about 30-40 people at an affordable price. On top of this, the workers were super helpful in providing information about the dishes. I highly recommend Yin Dee for anyone looking for a great bite to eat!

Amazing food! The pad Thai was wonderful, the sticky rice was perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. The papaya salad with sausage and meat balls (Thum Sapp Lao) was excellent. That sausage was straight up some of the tastiest stuff I have eaten

Diner Review №191

I've heard how good Laoatian cuisine is I had to eat here. I've been here probably 3 times already, never disappointed. Very tasty, and I'll be back!

Diner Review №192

Not good. Ordered five shrimp sumai. Took awhile to make (90% of my lunch break) Bit into the first one and it was cold on the inside. So I just ate raw shrimp, which is pretty gross. And I don’t have lunch 🤦🏼‍♀️

Diner Review №193

Great food, and reasonable prices. I will definitely be back.

Diner Review №194

This place is amazing! Family owned and their passion for cooking definitely shows in the dishes they make! You gotta try the Pho Roll.

I got the drunken noodle and it's quality. Fresh and delicious. Highly recommend

We were craving drunken noodles and the usual spot had closed. Yin Dee looked promising, but I’m not sure if the usual cook was there or if there was someone else not as experienced cooking. The sausage was pretty disappointing for the cost. The drunken noodles were medium sized rice noodles, not the flat wide ones. It was edible, but had too much fish sauce, wasn’t not sweet or sour enough. The thum sapp lao papaya salad was inedible. The green papaya felt wilted like it had been prepared for more than a day ahead of time, and the amount of fish sauce overpowered any other flavors that might have been present. The accompaniments— the beef balls were over fried, dry, and very dense; the pork belly fat wasn’t rendered, and was chewy and the skin was hard like plastic; the pickled mustard greens were so salty it was clear they hadn’t been rinsed with water or they should have been chopped finely. The woman that helped us when we picked up the take out, was very nice and the containers were all labeled. It looks to be a small business and perhaps they just had an off day.

Diner Review №200

Update - they no longer serve this item due to what covid has done to the world. The food is not the same and very disappointed.

I enjoy the, "Build your own noodle bowl", with; beef broth, marbled eggs, pork belly, all vegetables, pho noodles, and from time to time pork dumplings. Hands down, this is the best Thai food that I have ever had. I have to visit Yin Dee once a week. I am addicted and I know whomever comes for their first visit will also make this a part of their weekly routine.
