First time trying this out. Traffic in the area can be pretty crazy but totally worth it. The thai food was amazing. Delicious and flavor is on point. This is a pretty great hole in the wall location. I definitely recommend this as a hidden gem. Love it and will definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.

There's a huge menu but I stuck with thai and so I ordered pad see ewe and the pad woon sen. Every bite was savory and flavorful. I did ask for 4/5 spice but as a person who eats very spicy food, this wasn't that spicy but I still loved it.

Side note- one of my friends ordered the red curry and it was very delicious - very creamy and good flavor. However, my other friend ordered pad thai and it wasn't the best. It was a bit sour. The noodle texture was good though.

My son's rehearsal dinner was held there. They were all so fantastic, they served us the Best appetizers, dinner and accommodating for anyone's drink request. The owner and his staff are Fabulous and deserve a lot of praise for their service. I cannot recommend them enough. He's got great staff who are like family.

The portions are large and the cost isn't too high. We love Phoenix. You have to try the chicken, shrimp, pineapple, cashew fried rice and ask for coconut on top. It's divine.

It's getting cold, so it's Pho soup time. We always sit at the bar and order hot sake. Service is excellent. It's our to go place in Mooresville.

Ordered Tom Kha Gao at a spice level five. It came out with no spice at all (I added the pepper)and the milk did not taste like coconut milk. The two stars are for the service being good. I was really hoping that this would be my go to place for Thai but I think that I will have to continue to go to Thai Thai in Mooresville.

Very, very bad! First of all, the range hood in the store does not work at all. The store is full of oil smoke. The floor, tabletops, and tableware are all greasy. After eating, the clothes are full of oil smoke! There is no service at all! We didn't even get a glass of water from the time we ordered to the time we finished eating, but! Other tables of guests had it! With such service, they took the initiative to add a 20% service charge to the bill! And then there is even an option for tipping below! Finally, the taste of the food, only the sushi rolls and rice have a normal taste. The worst experience! Don't go!

I had a very pleasant service despite the food. I wasn't asked however why I didn't eat my food so I am leaving a review. The food was horrible. Thom ka was just coconut milk, sushi sour and not fresh, edamame mushy. The restaurant was filthy and sticky. I cleaned my own table. Napkin visibly soiled yet someone wrapped silverware in it. I'm new to the area so now I'm understanding the sanitation ratings. A's aren't A's.

Place has a 93 rating and it shows. Food was gross, everything was sticky and dirty, about 98 degrees inside the restaurant, no soap in the bathrooms so clearly employees aren't washing their hands... horrible experience. Don't recommended unless you want to go to a place and leave needing a shower!!!

As someone who has traveled to Asia, there is good flavourful food here. The Spicy Mule complemented with a Black Dragon Roll will have make you a Happy Camper. Stake and scallops are always soft. The curry is thick, and if you put the duck on it, then it's perfection. We basically go here every other week and take a 30 min drive. They are good. lol .

The guy that does take out order curly hair is very rude and the whole staff he’s greets me.
By saying what’s up very inappropriate . Please teach him some manners ok how to greet customers

LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH THE FOOD MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM SOOOOOO GOOD! I wish they were open on Tuesdays though, cause that’s when I always crave it. It kinda doesn’t make sense too, cause Tuesday is so random. Why not Sunday but anyways SO GOOD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.

Start with the good.
We had the exotic roll, pad Thai 3 on the spicy, crunchy roll, and cucumber roll. I thought the food was good, no issues on quality of the food. The service was good, refills were on que without asking and the prep and delivering of food was fine.

The bad
The bathrooms were disgusting, men’s and women’s, and the help in the back kept ring a bell which was annoying.

Food is good but the smell of the fried oil in the air stuck to my clothes even after a wash … and the music was so loud but they wouldn’t turn it down 😭 food is good/average but I will definitely not be dining in here ever again.

Had Pad Thai shrimp delivered. Very tasty and fresh. Serving was large with lots of large shrimp. Have enough for at least another dinner. Requested mild and it was mild. Very pleased with this order.

The host/busser was doing the most work out of all the servers combined, refilled our drinks etc. Worst service I’ve ever had from our waiter, didn’t even want to leave a tip but I did of course. Mention the fact that our servers pants were literally falling off him walking around with his underwear out. Also It wasn’t even busy, 7 tables max. Food was ok. Asked for a side, got it when we were almost done w our food. The host deserves a raise or a server position.

We just moved to Nc and tried your restaurant for the first time on June 2nd. Our food was horrible and the price was more than the website stated. The cashier said they know the prices have been wrong for a long time, but did nothing to charge us properly.

The food we got was also very spicy. Online it didn’t say it was spicy or list we could ask for it to be less spicy. When we ordered they didn’t let us know we could choose a spice level. Later they said it does usually come at level 2 and it shouldn’t have been that spicy. They apologized it wasn’t listed on the menu online but did nothing to fix it for us.

The sushi we ordered was also very bad. The amount of avocado was a lot and the fish was very small. So all we could taste was avocado. Never had a place do that. The rice was also very very strong vinegar taste. Obviously they made a mistake.

Overall , we were very unhappy with everything and wanted our money back. I called the restaurant and they said there was no manager there to help us. They said they would call me back within a couple days but didn’t. I called back 4 times now and there is never a manger to talk to. Seems very weird a manager doesn’t work during dinner hours. I prefer to get my money back but if we have to, I would at least like to try food there again for free.

As a spicy red curry lover, this was honestly, the most bland and underwhelming curry I've ever had. California rolls were also so-so. That said the inside is really cute and updated. Service was also good, and consistent.

I don't think I will return but thats also because I only came here for their curry. Perhaps their other menu items are better?

I was craving hibachi and decided to eat here. I ordered hibachi chicken with no veggies. Even though carrots was still added to my tray, I still enjoyed the food. I wish I had more rice (that was the reason for no veggies) but overall the food was straight. I was turned off at the extra dollar for white sauce and the fact they didn’t have ginger, but I feel it is not necessary for an extra cup of white sauce because they give you more than enough with the meal. Unless you want to drench your hibachi with sauce, one should suffice.

Food is good, but service is not. The waiter and waitress were not too polite or welcoming. Did not sound friendly at all and when we tried to ask for something we needed, the waiter was rude in his answer.

I ordered their Hibachi/ Teriyaki salmon, on a delivery app and it was phenomenal! Portion size was great, food was really tasty and it’s not overpriced. will definitely be ordering again!

Bad service, the woman who take my order, was rude and without any help, the food was bad, tasteless and additionally she placed my order wrong. I won't come back again or for example I don't want her to take care of me because honestly she did everything absolutely wrong.

Went today to have lunch& the waitress was terrible! Not once did she ask if we needed anything else, asked for napkins she never brought them, Asked for limes then she got MAD. And never came back.. was without water for 10 minutes!

Tried to eat here on a Sunday afternoon around 2:45. Waited to be seated with one couple ahead of me. That couple was seated. The hostess came back to us and we were told it would be a few minutes. Seemed strange because almost all the tables were empty. We just left.

Ok so I've been here a number of times previously but this was the first time in the last maybe 2 years. Food was great had beef pad kee mao. Spicy level 3 some bites were definitely hotter than others. Service was ok. Atmosphere I'd say was fine but the table didn't look like it was cleaned well and had streaks. Other than that atmosphere was ok.

My one beef I have is your menu online has outdated pricing, please update it! I will attach an image of the current lunch menu as of late Dec 2023. I will definitely be back and maybe get togo.

Good service, cheese rolls were amazing, horrible yellow curry. The curry tasted like water with a hint of curry seasoning. I didn’t taste any coconut milk. 😩 Won’t come back. Too hit or miss on what you get.

Closed early every time I go can’t get service. Has to be front for some other activity. They definitely aren’t selling food closed hour before listed time on a Saturday. Terrible business. Took time to bring my family and was wasted time and gas. Seen the owner he was happy was closed offered no solution. Money must be coming from elsewhere. Turning business away!!!!!!

Our server was named Bella, she was awesome waiting on our table, there were 21 people, Bella did an amazing job.

Servers are spread too thin and short on cook staff. It took near 45 mins to get our entree and shishi came some time after that. No mention was made regarding a potential delay. I declined to accept the shishi.
At the very start the syrup was running low on Coca Cola, was given another glass of the same, then given a sweet tea that was was very bad. My party as a whole was never brought refills. Ordered a Tasmanian Devil, was told they are out. Ordered Tuna Tataki and it was way over seasoned with the orange power. We ate a few but didn't say anything because the waitress was MIA.

I can understand wanting to have full tables because that's money. But when you have every seat full and many are unhappy due to quality or delays that cost you returning customers. I have been a loyal patron for many years and have watched it get worse over the past few months. Between this vist and my last one, we will not be returning. There are limited choices in Mooresville for Japanese, but I encourage you to look elsewhere.

Haven’t tried the Thai but the Sushi was so/so. The premier Sushi in this area still seems to be Sushi at the Lake Too. The Deluxe Bagel roll is strange. The description says it’s deep fried but there’s no indication it is, quite the opposite. The outer layer is very mushy, reminiscent of not fully cooked dough, couldn’t even finish the order. That said, I’ll still give the Thai a shot and see how it is. The college me probably would have loved this place, the adult me will be at Sushi at the Lake.

I got the chicken and shrimp yellow curry, it was good, but they need to cut chicken up smaller, they gave quite a few shrimp, but cx was so big only had a couple pieces, once meat all gone just broth peppers and rice. And 5 although spicy wasn't killer.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Everything is great. I had never eaten Thai food before and was very intimidated by the menu. The staff was very helpful and everything I’ve had is excellent not at all like I thought it would be. All the food is so fresh. The sushi is off the chain!! It’s the best sushi I have found up in Lake Norman area.

Offers both japanese and Thai options, all the dishes are remarkable and have been going here for years. No plans on changing that

Staff takes great care for the food preparation. It may take a little longer but worth it every time. Cocktails are also amazing. Absolutely the freshest seafood brought in daily.

Terrible. Filthy - floors were sticky, condiments were sticky, sauce on the seats, tables had food caked under the glass, food splatter on the walls - just gross. Tom Kha soup was bland and the pad thai is drowning is a tangy "sweet and sour" tasting sauce. Some people may like it, but nothing like typical pad thai. Shrimp Tempura in sushi was chewy like squid, fiancé couldn't eat it.

My wife and I frequent this restaurant. Usually we get Pad Thai for the lunch special. A few times we have called in for this special right before the 3 pm cutoff. Never had a problem until Friday. My wife wanted the lunch special after she had foot surgery and woke up from recovery. On the way home I called it in like the past. I told them we would not be able to eat in but sometimes in the past for special reasons like this they would pack it up. The lunch special has 2 additional items as a special. It comes with a small rice soup and a spring roll. Usually it is around $9.00. TODAY I ordered it on the phone and told them and they said no problem. It would be up front and ready. Pay upon arrival. I asked for a little extra sauce too and that usually isn't a problem either. I go in and the owner/manager who is always there rings me up. He said $17 . I said that is not the lunch price. He said we added the rice soup and the lunch special is for dine in only. I had been through a long long day and just wanted to go home and get my wife settled. We did not get anything asked for. No extra sauce and a rice soup we were charged for and the Pad Thai charged regular price not lunch special price. Also NO spring roll!
This guy has always in the past runs around the restaurant terrorizing his employees, especially the waitress' there and always a high turnover and now I know why. This was not a good business decision on his part at all. Now my wife is mad and said that is it. We have been good customers for years and know the specials. I guess we can go uptown Mooresville NC to that otherThai Restaurant. This is ashame !! Please sir enjoy the extra $8 you took me for!

Really liked this place. It has lots of Asian food options. Atmosphere is casual and family friendly. We visited a couple of times within a week. The only thing is, the place gets pretty busy and the service suffers slightly.

The hair from I'm guessing the cook with the beard in my food was disgusting, before I saw it the basil fried rice was tasteless, 2 pieces of squid and 3 shrimp. My kids both had kei krob aka sesame chicken, we all had stomach pains. Yuck.

Fantastic Thai and Japanese spot. My wife and I had a pho soup, drunken noodles and two sushi rolls. Highly recommend everything we ate. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the fact that the waitress was complaining about the chef ringing the bell too much. Although I'm sure its very stressful for her to hear the bell, her comments made everyone in the dining room very uncomfortable. She kept saying things like if he doesn't stop rining that damn bell im gonna flip out, he knows im the only server working today! It was awkward for everyone and it negatively effected everyone's meal. We left at the same time as another family and the first thing they said was well that was an interesting experience. It was like a dinner and a show but we didn't want the show lol.

I had the best Moscow Mule of my life. If y’all do anything else, try this place. Swear by my life I’ve never been to a better restaurant ever.

If this place was any better, I would not leave. Ever. The staff is wonderful and the food is outstanding! We have worked our way through most of the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The sushi menu is great, but there are some secret rolls if you ask for them. There is often a high demand for them, but the patience is worth it! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself with Phoenix!!

This was our first time at this restaurant. They only have take out because of the pandemic I guess. The staff was great and wonderful but food was nasty. We ordered yum seafood salad (yum talay), pad ga paow and Thai tea. First of all the Thai tea was nasty because the milk was bad. It was sour. My wife ask me to go back in to tell them but I was embarrassed. Then the yum seafood was not good at all. It tasted like they use the papaya salad sauce instead of real yum sauce. Last was pad ga paow, it was way too sweet. I hope they taste test everything before they sell these.

I wish I could give them 200stars!!! I’ve been going to This restaurant for YEARS! The quality of the food is INSANE! From the hot meats, to the sushi. My favorite place in Moorseville. Worth a drive from anywhere. The staff is friendly.. the food is awesome! Love it! A+++++ get the “Cosmo roll” lol.. it’s the best..

Very slow, told 30 min after ordering that they could not make roll we ordered. Probably will not go back. Understand all about covid but it shouldn't be used as an excuse for everything.

Good selection, good service and reasonably priced

Food is great staff is great. Hard to get a hold of by phone if you need to make a to go order.
