After trying out all of the Thai restaurants in Greensboro and surrounding areas, this is our favorite by far! No matter the dish we try, it comes out flavorful, beautiful, and perfectly spiced. We had the Yellow curry, Pad Thai, and Lamb Basil, which were all 10/10. Service is great and everyone is friendly and very efficient. We recommend Thai Square to all of our friends and family!

Really loved the food!! My first time was take out. The food and atmosphere was so good that I invited my church Micro-Group. All four of us went and had such a great time together! I only tried it because my nephew had some and it smelled so good lol!!!

Quality and presentation has gone down a bit over time, probably to cut costs but the food is still good. They were out of the Thai coffee which was a shame because its delicious, the Thai tea we had instead was not very good.

Food is always good but their service as of late has been a problem. They been messing up orders and running out of items.
My family and I always come here about 8-10 times a month and the staff usually recognizes us but as of late I am not sure if they got a new staff or so.
My wife and I are usually greeted by the old staff who would make jokes with us and all but lately they had hire someone new with such an attitude. I had ask another waitress just out of curiosity if the staff changed because we used to seeing the old staff but her co workers came out of nowhere rudely cut her off and start asking what the problem was and after we mentioned what we were curious about she gave a very rude answer with two thumbs up and left. We were left kind of left in surprised since this was the first time this rude nasty attitude has happened and we been going to this restaurant for four years.
Never seen her before but mind you again my family and I go here often and I have recommend this restaurant to many others.
If this particular lady who name I don’t know yet but once I find it will be trouble for her is still working then we will unfortunately have to go elsewhere.
Gave it a 2 star because the food is still good unfortunate one person is going to ruin this restaurant.

Wonderful vibe, beautiful holiday decorations, friendly fast service and delish food. My chicken pad thai, veggies, and chai tea were perfection.

Seated quickly, food was prepared quickly. All of my party (except the 7 year old who just wanted chicken nuggets) thought the food was delicious. I had the Panang Curry with beef. Quite pleased with this place, and will likely be back.

Best Pad Thai that I’ve had!

We had 2 takeout orders of Pineapple Fried Rice With Shrimp, last night.
One order was missing raisins and cashews ingredients listed on the menu. While the other Order had lots of cashews, but only 1 raisin. Food was delicious; disappointed that for $20.00 a plate, more attention was not paid in the preparation of the food.

We got dinner to-go and it was great! Large portions which was good. It took about 20 minutes to have 4 meals ready on a Friday night which isn’t bad.

I'm not usually a huge fan of Thai food, but my brother insisted that we come here, and I have to admit, I'm pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is really nice, and the food is absolutely delicious.

This place is a gem! I was so impressed that I went for lunch on Monday and couldn’t resist bringing my wife back for dinner the very next night. The Pad Thai was unbelievably fresh, and the crab Rangoon? Simply to die for! The portions are massive—perfect for sharing—and the prices are just right. The service was top-notch, with a level of professionalism and warmth that made us feel truly welcomed. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Great staff and service. Very tranquil environment, even during the Saturday lunch. The pad Thai chicken was just ok. The chicken pieces were really big and a bit dry. Yet, the thai noodles were very wet. It was almost like a soup. Still tasty, but not something I would eat with chopsticks. I’m new to the area so maybe it’s just the way it’s done in North Carolina.

first time here and it was really good! Our food took over 45 minutes to come out and it was just the two of us… which was annoying. Once it finally came out it was generously portioned which I loved. Both our entrees came with a side of white rice. The staff is very friendly and very eager to refill your drinks😂 they have a large menu so everyone is sure to find something they would enjoy. I definitely will come back!

Thai Square is a good place if you're in the mood for Thai cuisine. We went around 6pm and the restaurant was busy but we were seated immediately. The staff is friendly and the property is clean. We ordered the Kai Soi, Ginger Salmon, Pad Krapow, and Pad Ped. The Kai Soi was by far and away the table favorite. It has both soft noodles and crunchy noodles which gives it a nice contrast. The presentation of the dish is fantastic and definitely catches your eye. I ordered the pad ped and really enjoyed it. The flavors were very good and unique. I really liked the peppercorn addition to the dish. I think I can handle spice well and ordered medium. It was perfect. The sauces on all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The portions are massive and enough for two people to share. They have four spice levels: mild, medium, spicy, and Thai spicy. Medium was perfect for me and what I would consider to be medium. The service was good. It would have been helpful if our waiter was a little more knowledgeable with the menu. However, he was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our meal at Thai Square and would return.

I’ve dined here many times and had various dishes. What makes this Thai place different in my opinion aside from the nice decor (not Asian themed IMO) is that they have a lot of seafood options for protein. I had the cilantro shrimp this time and can say it was the best thing I’ve eaten there to date. 3 stars for service because we had to really push to separate the bill as two couples dining together. Also I ordered my my drink with a lemon which she just left off despite bringing the same drink to our couple friends with lemon.
Still I’d dine here again but miss Rearn Thai the BEST Thai place GSO has had IMO!

The food here is so good! My favorite is the Cashew Nut Chicken…it’s so flavorful and filling. The crab rangoon and crispy rolls are also really good. The service is pretty good as well. Definitely recommend!

As a reformed picky eater who doesn't tolerate any heat in my food, I was surprised to learn I LOVE Thai food after going here with a friend for dinner. The pad see ew is my favorite but I also really enjoy their Ginger entree as well. The fresh rolls are delicious and a great appetizer to share. The atmosphere here is really lovely. I really like the decor and how clean it is. Staff are always friendly. They have good lunch prices but even their dinner prices are more than fair for the quality and amount of food you receive.

High quality food at a price that is reasonable for what you get. The restaurant is clean, and the wait staff give just the right amount of attentiveness.

Thai Square had the best Thai food on the North side of town. The menu features all the staples you would expect to find. I've tried a little bit of everything and have been satisfied every time.

I recently stopped in for lunch and was so disappointed that we left before ordering.
The restaurant was semi-busy and only had one server, who seemed beside herself.
We waited almost 5 min after arriving just to be sat at a dirty table.
The menus only had 5 or 6 items to choose from. No appetizers, soup, salad, or desserts listed.

We ordered takeout for about 40 people. The quality, quantity and service was excellent.

This was the first time we had been to this restaurant. We were able to get a table as soon as we walked in. The issue wasn’t the atmosphere or how long we waited to order. We were there for well over an hour and only received one of our appetizers and tea. The appetizer we got was the steamed dumplings which were very good. The reviews for the food were great and we were looking forward to eating since the aromas coming from the kitchen were great. We asked two waiter/waitress to check on our order. They did not come back to the table to give us an update. The third waiter was at least apologetic enough to let us know that he had checked and could not get an answer. We asked for the check for what we received and he returned telling us it was no charge due to the extreme wait. He at least apologized. This was supposed to be my Mother’s Day dinner and it was a bust. It’s understandable that it was busy, but it wasn’t that busy in the restaurant. Even those picking up orders were waiting. There were several other customers that had left before us for the same reason as told to us by the waiter. His response was that they were so busy filling call in orders that people in the restaurant were not getting served on time. This was very poorly managed especially since it was a special day. Very disappointed.

Made a reservation for Mother's Day at 7:30. Walked in at 7:35 and stood at the front waiting till 7:45. There was no host to be seen. None of the servers glanced at us or said a thing. Finally was noticed and sat. Proceeded to not receive any menus or water and was again not spoken to by any of the servers. Walked out at 7:55. 25 minutes of poor service. Understaffed, please be wary when going here.

It's pretty decent Thai food by GSO standards, but the service is consistently a mess. Final straw for me was placing an order on Mother's Day, being told it was a 40 min wait, arriving 40 mins later and being told they hadn't even started cooking yet and the food would be at least another 45 mins.

No apology, no offer to comp anything. Seemed like everyone waiting had experienced the same thing. It would be fine if it were an isolated incident, but they're often super late with their orders.

New Thai favorite! Fresh Roll, Tom Ka Soup and Red Curry. Fresh wraps are very fresh and I was so glad to see the peanut sauce was NOT just creamy peanut butter! The Tom Ka soup is flavorful and tangy full of fresh veggies. The Red Curry had a nice roasted flavor, full flavor and very nice! Both dishes I chose chicken as my protein. The Thai Tea was nice and didn’t taste canned. Without having to drive across town this Thai food restaurant is now my new favorite and I look forward to trying new dishes on my next visit. 745 pm dinner so no issues with service and food came out quick.

I would say the service here is awful but that would imply that they have any service. This was the second time we had a terrible experience here. The first time, the waiter spilled about a third of our $22 bottle of sake over our lap. He didn’t apologize, didn’t give us a replacement, gave us no napkins, and charged us full price for the bottle. Tonight we went and my food took so long to arrive, that the other two people were finished eating their meals by the time mine had come out. Shortly after we had finished our meals, another patron’s kid grabbed the super heavy lamp decoration, which came smashing down on our table spilling water everywhere and all over us. While this is not the restaurants fault, they handled the aftermath of it horribly. No body came to help clean up the water or bring us any napkins to dry off. A waitress grabbed the lamp and asked if we were okay and that was it. After the patron apologized to us, we overheard her talking to the waitress saying that she would like to pay for our meal. While we cannot say for certain if that happened, it sure seemed like she had, and we still got charged full price for our meal too. We have eaten here a dozen times, and every time, the service is mediocre at best. Even though the food is good, we will not ever be returning.

This has been one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in Greensboro.

We had a 50 minute wait time for our food.

Our entrees arrived well before our appetizer, and we were given no silverware at our table. We had to flag down the wait staff multiple times to get the bare necessities not provided at our table.

As for the food - the Khao Soi was okay but not very flavorful. The lobster pad Thai was disgusting. Way, way too sweet. Something was off with the sauce.

The only good thing about our experience was the neat looking glass they serve Thai tea in. There was nothing else positive about my experience.

I can't believe I spent $70 to sit and stare at the wall for an hour. What a waste. I regret paying my bill as I feel as though they scammed me out of my hard earned money.

We have been very loyal with this restaurant but tonight, the way we were treated because of the server's mistake in taking our order incorrectly,
made us not wanting to come back again. Clearly the restaurant has no value for customer satisfaction and does not want to accept their mistake. I ordered Thai hot Veggie fried rice dishes with no tomato , with egg and server repeated it perfectly when she took the order. When I got home after driving 35 mins, the order was mild and tasteless with no Eggs in the Thai fried rice. Now, I am here, with 3 rice dishes that are tasteless. Not going back here again because of the attitude of implying that I was lying and she was right , all the way.
That hurts more than the tasteless food.

The issue isn’t quantity or quality of food really . I do believe , the chicken is just OVER cooked making it tougher to chew … everything else see is spot on

One in our group said it was the best Red Curry with chicken he'd ever had.

The Perfect Balance Of Flavors. This is my fifth time here and I can officially say that the food is incredible. This time we had the crispy rolls as an appetizer. The main dishes were Shrimp Pad Thai and Mixed Vegetables w/white rice and all just beyond excellent. The Thai Square Crew was very friendly and gave us great suggestions.

Inside the restaurant is beautiful. Very pretty, modern decor and CLEAN. I was very impressed when I walked in. Service was fast and friendly.

Now, onto the food. The veggies and tofu were cooked perfectly. The noodles were all stuck together and very oily. The dish had hardly any flavor, the only flavor came from the veggies.

When I asked the girl on the phone if the dish was spicy she said it was, but it wasn't unbearable, more like a "medium" spice. I don't like very spicy food, so believe me when I say there wasn't any spice to it at all. I was not impressed by the food.

I may give this place one more try. But I'll probably just stick to my usual Thai place. If you're looking for a great atmosphere and DELICIOUS food, try Thai Chiang Mai Restaurant off 68 in Greensboro. Incredible!

Came here for lunch while bringing kids to Greensboro Science Center while on family vacation. The food is excellent and the location is new. Place was not too crowded and service was prompt. We tried different entrees and appetizers and all were good.

Ordered a Thai Iced Tea and the "Curry Duck."

The service was polite and efficient. They were not overly friendly, and we had a total of 4 different waite staff. I guess they split the tips... left us a little unsure.

The atmosphere was remarkable. With a clean, high-end decor, superior napkins, and very clean bathrooms, this is a great place to bring a date.

The food was a little disappointing. The ingredients were mostly fresh. The curry sauce was decent. The fresh basil goes a long way in adding flavor. But the duck was overcooked to the point that it was dry and crunchy. Had it not been for the duck I would have given the food 5 stars.

We loved the decor and atmosphere. The decor is slightly upscale like what you would find in Charlotte or Raleigh. It was pretty busy but that allowed us time to enjoy a good glass of wine. We ate Panang Curry and Chicken with Basil. Both dishes were excellent and full of flavor. We really like this place and can not wait to go back!!!

I ordered the pineapple shrimp fried rice, and it was very flavorful. It was not too spicy for my sensitive palate. The service was timely and very courteous. Servers checked our table many times. The restaurant has a very contemporary/Asian vibe, and it is very clean. We will definitely return.

Average food, seemed lean on protein.

Standard Thai food for American but not authentic as real Thai food. We ordered Pat Sew Ewe and it's sweet. Also ordered Basil fried rice and asked for spicy and it's also sweet, not spicy enough. Papaya salad is okay but not spicy enough.

Have ordered takeout from here as a go-to takeout spot for a while and it's always fantastic. Have dined in a handful of times as well and it always delivers.

Even with an empty house we were not "allowed" to sit 2 people at a table that's identical to all the other tables due to a "policy". Absolutely ridiculous and we will avoid this type of restaurant that won't allow you to sit where you feel most comfortable, especially when there are only 3 other seated tables in a location of 40 seats. Likely would've spent more $ than 3 or 4 typical customers anyway. Heading to a better place who values their customers!

I ordered thick noodle with chicken, broccoli, and carrots(I don't remember the name on the menu). Broccoli was still hard for me and I wished to have more noodles. But the taste was good. My husband asked to refill of his drink and half glass of milk for my 2 years old son, but I guess they didn't charge for drinks. That was nice service.

We eat here about once every two months. The food and waitresses are excellent. Today was the same except it took over 45 minutes for our food to come after we ordered. I understand the climate of work staff now days but this is ridiculous. Instead of apologizing they should have warned us up front or offered something to make up for it other than an apology

Disgusting! I asked to have a veggie fried rice and received food that smelled like raw fish and even found a couple of raw shrimp in my meal. This was beyond acceptable and I will NEVER again eat here. Neither will I recommend this terrible place. The worker that took my order was kind.

Best Thai food in North Carolina.

We stopped at Thai Square after visiting the Greensboro Science center. We walked into a beautiful, chic restaurant that was so very clean. We ordered wrapped shrimp which looked like a piece of art when it arrived. This app was delicious. My Pad Thai dish with shrimp was soon to arrive and I was not disappointed. The portion was huge, the taste was so good and I wished I had the room to eat it all. If you like Thai Food this is the place to go and have the best.

Horrible place. The staff are incredibly rude and the food, while tasty, is sketchy. Drive around back and see where they thaw their meat…on a cart in the sun (they were reported to the Health Department). Plenty of other wonderful Thai restaurants in the Triad. Avoid food poisoning and choose one of them.

Wonderful, fresh, hot and fast! Any of the curry dishes are amazing! Tasty, hot, fast and fabulous...my favorite Thai place in 2 states!

Great food at decent cost.

First visit. They wanted to seat me at a small table 1pm, not very busy. I requested a corner seat. They put me in a small table at the door. I waited five minutes before someone took my order. Good food served quickly. I asked the waitress to check with me about dessert. She did not check back. I was ready for the check and waited a good five minutes when she finally brought the check.

Came here on a coconut curry craving and it did not disappoint. Food was flavorful and authentic and the Thai tea is a must try. Will come again.

I really like the food here , but every time i go here i remember of that on pink hair girl now she have highlight ig if that right , she was so rude to me she make me don’t wanna go here no more , every time i go here now it remind me of her that i feel disgust .

Ordered dinner for 2 and did take out. Food was fine and everything seemed to be as described except for the Bangkok Chicken. Paper menu says crispy chicken and mixed vegetables, the online menu says broccoli and carrots. Either way don't order this if you are hoping for many veggies. I'm not one to inspect carryout when it's all packaged and bagged. But I'd recommend doing so if you plan to order takeout from here.

Oh my goodness, this place is fabulous! Food is truly outstanding. Earns a six star on my personal scale. Service was impeccable, vibe is calm, fresh, upscale.

This was my second visit to Thai Square. The food is authentic and delicious! The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. It's a great location for a solo lunch or dinner, or a romantic meal.

10/10 across the board. My food was amazing and the waitress attentive. Never felt rushed and answered all my questions. This is my favorite Thai restaurant not only because the food is amazing but it just feels good being in there. The decorations are beautiful and intentional.

Customer service and presentation were excellent, however the food was incredibly subpar. Ordered the chicken green curry. Very little flavor and the broth was watery. Large chunks of eggplant constituted over half the volume of the food. Unfortunately for anyone who enjoys Thai food, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I have eaten here several times and the service is still the same. I always find my glass empty and they don't come back to check on you after serving your meal until 20 minutes have pasted. Then they rush you out with the check without refilling any drinks. I am tired of leaving 20% tips or more and the service sucks. The food is always great. I cannot complain about the food, it's tasty!

Sawadtdee Kha! This is very good Thai food! Having spent 6 months in Thailand and SE Asia, this is so very authentic! The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere, with good music to help make the excellent food that much better.

Use to be our favorite restaurant but slowly the staff, food, music and atmosphere over the years is so bad we are in search of another Thai place to spend our money...better music at a funeral..we pay for dinner size portions and they are getting smaller and smaller...now they have some lady crocheting at the window table with her wares outside on display and inside her car!!!👎👎👎👎
