This is really a no frills place. The food is good enough, about 3.5 stars. We ordered pad thai and pineapple fried rice. The pad thai had the right amount of sauce, but would have like more green onions, peanuts, & bean sprouts. It wasn't spicy at all, but i didn't think to ask. Pineapple fried rice was ok. The rice wasn't dry enough before making the dish. Flavor was light. The staff was nice and portions were big. All said and done, i would come again.
My husband and I dined in since our power was out at home. The food was made fresh, to order. We both loved our dishes; I got the sesame ginger chicken and it came with lots of perfectly cooked veggies and a delightful sauce that wasn't very heavy. The white rice was perfect. We enjoyed the quaint vibe; this place is casual and stayed busy with takeout orders the whole time we were there.
The food here is good I only wish they would separate the veggies when you order extra, it leaves the fried food soggy. Aside from that the flavors are good and there are different options, vegan included. I always get the same thing when I come in and service never disappoints. There’s a car was next door if you want to wash your car while waiting for your food.
Please read this in its entirety if you want a review based on fact not opinions. Look at reviews from just the last year. We all note the same basic experience.
The food is either fantastic or literally horrible. There is no in between. One time they provide soup and a side salad the next they give you nothing. This time they used wide rice noodles, pasty, sticking together, and overcooked. The last visit they used thin rice noodles and it was delicious.
The bill for 2 entrees, house salad, spring rolls, and dumplings was over $60.00. While we all know a dollar doesn’t go as far as it did in the past BUT $60 for 2 adults is not exactly cheap, if it were good I would not be writing this or would be writing an excellent review as 95% of the time I do. If I choose to review it’s my way of noting excellence.
The beef drunken noodles was really off, the beef had a taste like it’s been warmed over several times with a funny aftertaste. On the bright side there was hardly any beef in the entree. I unfortunately got shrimp drunken noodles. There were a whooping 9 medium shrimp- I’m being literal, only 9. Luckily I had shrimp in the freezer which I thawed, cooked, and added to it.
If the owner thinks they will go way further financially by choosing to use old and funky tasting beef of cutting the shrimp count by 2/3, have at it. I predict a “For lease” sign posted on the door soon. Sad but true.
No utensils, napkins, or anything else. Today is the last horrible experience for me. I vote with my dollars, they just lost my vote permanently.
I have been ordering from them for years. YEARS!!! We do love the Tofu Tod, and their Chicken Satay. Also the peanut sauce. But if you order anything else, it's a hit and miss. Especially if you try to order a grade of spice. We have learned to try to say MILD - because they are spicy. But whatever we do, it always comes out the same if you order mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. This is a picture of us ordering "MILD" today. Do you see the amount of hot sauce at the bottom? They just don't seem to care. After all this time, I will try out all the other places in town. I do not recommend. It's inconsistent and never a nice experience going there. I've finally realized I've spent way too much money there for food we can't eat. Duh. PS: dang, the chicken satay is actually truly OK. I don't want to write a bad review, but it took orders upon orders to write this.
I can't actually call my mealThai food.it was supposed to be eggplant with pesto, Instead it was frozen broccoli, fozen sliced carrots , cubed eggplant and I think one sprig of basil in a watered down soy sauce. There was no "pesto". I love Thai good and eat it often. This dish was so disappointing.
Lots of flavor, the chefs do a great job. Big fan of the panang and red curry here, lots of flavor. Counter serve and food usually comes out fast, plenty of seating.

Delish food every time! Staff are so polite. Love this restaurant
Yum!

They closed at 9pm we arrived at 7:45 pm and they wouldn’t serve us and they are very unprofessional, I’m a manger at an Asian restaurant and we don’t turn customers away
The food is extremely good. The people working there make the experience a pleasure.

Unremarkable food, anything above mild is just murdered in jalapenos with very little flavor.

Best Thai food around!!

UPDATED 9/7/2024: Despite my better instincts, I started going here again recently due to its proximity to where I live (because no way, no how will Rockingham County ever have a Thai restaurant). But nothing has really changed. Went about three weeks ago and ordered Pad Thai. Sauce was all wrong, red in color, and the dish looked like a murder scene. Ordered Pad See Ew today "medium spicy" and there was no spice in it at all. The cook and cashier claimed otherwise and handed me a little cup of Thai chili paste, when all I had asked for was some crushed red pepper flakes. Pure fire...had I put it all over my food, it would have rendered it inedible. Actually doesn't matter, because I was sufficiently angry that I just chucked the mostly full plate into their metal discount store garbage can, and got by on the crispy spring rolls I also ordered. I believe they thought they were being cute, but in fact they just lost my business permanently. These noodle dishes ain't that hard to make. I will learn to do it myself, or I'll go to their competitors down the road at Westridge Square.
Original review (~5 years ago): Two out of six visits, food prepared incorrectly. First time, I let it go (take out). Second time, tonight and dining in, I insisted on a re-do. They refused, instead choosing to doctor up the existing plate of food. I requested and received a refund. They also charge for tap water, which is ridiculous, and charge extra at dinnertime despite the fact portions are not larger. The food, when prepared correctly, is good but is not worth the hassle. Visit Bangkok Cafe or Rearn Thai instead.
Great food, cramped and noisy atmosphere, but clean and usually tables available for dining in
My go to place to Thai takeout. Good food and friendly service.
This place is a definite hit or miss. I ordered a Pad Thai and fresh spring rolls. The springs roll were chefs kiss, especially with the peanut sauce. But the Pad Thai flavor was OFF. It barely had any flavor and what I didn’t taste tasted funny.
really welcome selection of good vegetarian options, very tasty food especially the pad thai and drunken noodles
Hidden treasure! Delicious! They are nice too.
When I tell you I would rather order off the dollar menu at McDonald’s then ever eat at this place again I would. Spent 45.00 on 2 entrees and some dumplings and threw away all of it. One bite of the pad Thai and my lips puckered at the sour taste of whatever sauce they used. My husband couldn’t wash it down fast enough. The service was not that great….and we were one of 2 couples in there.
To go orders just a heads up they charge a $1.50 processing fee. I left a good tip and then on top of that was charged an extra $1.50.

They were out of basic aisian ingredients that were on the menu???
This place is a hit or miss. I went one time got drunken noodle. It had tons or flavor and I get mine traditional with Thai spicy levels vs American spicy and the food was a solid 4 out of 5.
Came back a week later and the food was "eh" 3 out of 5. It was a different chef. It had little to no flavor.
Their Thai Ice tea is a solid 4 out 5 and worth getting.
Drunken noodles were spaghetti noodles instead of the traditional irregularly cut wide noodles. Pad Thai had an off flavor and was not very good.
I love Thai and the guy wasn’t friendly he was like here I open the food there is like no veggies in the two items I ordered like I might have to go home and add veggies etc won’t be back
Best Thai food in Greensboro. Hands down.
Thai Corner has THE BEST curry in town! I'm obsessed with their green curry 💚 The eggplants delight is my other favorite dish. If you love Thai food, this should be your go-to spot!
Review update:
Absolutely no consistency . Our second time, we realized that there is no consistency with their food. Thai hot was milder than mild. No salt added ..on our recent dining trips. We won't be going back.
Has potential, I know spicy is subjective but ask for some spicy on side... Ordered mine 4 out of 5 and it has no bit to it.
Recently ordered some crab wontons and Pad Thai. Upon receiving the food, I noticed that the special instructions on the app were ignored. I have many food allergies and asked for substitutions on certain ingredients and all I received were bland noodles with nothing in it. The crab wontons we received were dried out, like they had been sitting under a warning lamp for a period of time. Definitely will not be returning to this restaurant and I suggest you save yourself the time and money as well.
If you’re looking for Poke, this is not the place. Too much sauce was used that over power the other flavors. I could only taste their Poke Sauce. Onions were cut HUGE when usually they get cut thinly to be use in Poke bowls. Long story short, do not waste your time in eating Poke at a Thai place.
Picked up for a birthday party. Portion size was nice. The food was delicious.
I tried the Stir-Fry Basil & Rice with chicken January 1st and the taste was amazing. Full of flavor.
Just had one of the worst dinners at this establishment.
I ordered Thai Fried Rice, and they brought me Pad Thai. They did replace it, but with the "wettest" rice with no seasoning at all.
My friend ordered Curry Soup with shrimp, and got chicken instead. He paid extra for the shrimp, and they never offered to reimburse him for the difference he paid. We were the only 2 customers there , so there really wasn't any excuse for messing up our two orders.
I'm not sure if I'll return after this...$35 plus a tip for a very unsatisfactory dinner.
I've called for take-out so many times they know what I'm going to order!
Food always a 5 star.
This is a go to place when we have visitors.
Do not get any dish that contains raw fish. I got the Citrus Salmon Poke Bowl and was met with a 48 hour case of food poisoning. Best of luck my friends, and be careful what you eat.
This place is too cute on the inside. I was ordering Take-out and I was unaware the Fresh rolls had both chicken and shrimp. I came back inside and tried to reorder and pay for the Fresh rolls (vegetarian style) and they persisted I didn’t have to pay for the remake. Very kind cashier and service!
The food is so good and flavorful. Large portions. Fast service too. Love the Thai fried rice and the crispy kapow chicken. Medium heat is perfect.
I’ve eaten here several times over the years and I have enjoyed the food so much I introduce others to this place. The people go to this place and order without me! Lol it’s good you should try it! I always get the wild chicken and hot sesame chicken!
Both the red & green curry are delicious! I especially love both when I'm feeling under the weather and need some spice in my life
Pad Thai was lackluster but the Sweet and Sour Delight seemed better. I basically had lots and lots of noodles with a strong, almost pungent sauce. Chicken was okay but clearly precooked by itself. I knew it wouldn't have lots of veggies but whoa, it was sparingly. Fast service and friendly staff.
Went there today on my lunch break and honestly could say that I make ramen noodles better than the filth I tried today. I ate inside but the food wasn’t hot, the noodles were overcooked and there was barely any chicken or noodles on my plate , It was essentially a pile of vegetables.
This place is not like any other Thai food restaurant I have went to. It’s nasty there, trying to do too many types of dishes in there instead of just what they’re advertising for as a Thai restaurant the food was super nasty and terrible and they did not make it to my liking or satisfaction, and on top of that they charge you very high prices and don’t give you your food. It’s worth rent. I on market Street was where I first started out eating Thai food. I always ordered a certain dish a certain way and that’s how I got it and it was fabulous. Unfortunately they had to close so then I go to the Thai food restaurant on Holden Road across from Arigato‘s I still order the same dish, curry chicken, red curry, chicken, mow with bamboo and a side of ginger. They never charge me extra for ginger. They give me more than enough food and they also serve it with eggrolls Thai corner. Charge me a lot of money for less food no size, appetizers, like eggrolls or anything and the food was super nasty and they wanted to even charge me extra for slices of ginger. If I was you in love Thai food like I do, this is a place I would not go .
Love it, authentic real food takeout! Poke bowls, dumplings, duck rolls! 😋
Found a hair in my food! Please work on putting on hair nets if your working with food. it’s against regulations not to wear them
Meh. Not spicy enough. Iceberg lettuce salad taste like it's poured straight out of a Walmart premix into your bowl floating in a soup of plain ginger dressing. Went twice had to add hot sauce both times.
My favorite Thai spot in Greensboro! The coconut noodle soup is the best
We hadn't been here before and needed a place for a quick bite. The whole place is nice, clean and well lit. The staff was friendly and service was fast. The food was great, even if they did go cheap on the plates. Styrofoam plates with the rice and the curry was in a plastic Tupperware. On the whole, we liked it and would gladly go back!
Yum
Really really good. American Thai food, fairly authentic too, and you can get really really spicy options too. Honestly the best Thai food I've had outside the west coast.
Terrible food. Three of us had “poke” and it barely resembled poke we are used to. Hardly any fish, no jalapeños, barely any decent greens—all that with a horrible sauce which drenched the whole thing. But lots of cheap rice!!
The food here is really close to authentic. Absolutely can eat here everyday.
The food is flavorful and not spicy. We got Sweet & Sour Delight with tofu and Eggplant Delight with tofu and Spring Rolls. There is no fish sauce in their sauce except for the Pad Thai so they have vegan options. We will go again.
Chicken satay and crispy duck rolls are delicious. Service was friendly and fast. Will be back soon.
My favorite restaurant in the area
Great food! Try the pineapple rice!
If you want some to go Thai food then this is the place to go. I love their curries & Phad thai.
Worst Thai food I've ever had. The curry was NOT curry. Tasted like peanut sauce out of the jar from the grocery store. Food was luke warm and very small portions. Served in paper bowl from dollar tree and plastic cup. Ordered $3 Thai tea and what I got was a cup filled to the brim with ice and about three sips worth of tea. Oh but sorry no refills! Cashier was extremely rude when I ordered my food. Never coming back to this place.
Food is delicious! Affordable
Great customer service!
This is a simple restaurant with excellent food and fast service. I've been multiple times
Decent thai food..... I've definitely had Better... not sure that's a fault of the restaurant...I'm originally from New England... which has many fantastic Asian Cuisine restaurants
My hometown had 5 fantastic places
It's a vibe. & I love their vegetarian options!
My wife and I’s go to place for Thai food in Greensboro. The food here has great flavor and it not bland like other Thai restaurants. The service is always great here as well. I always order the Red Curry with Vegetables.
They hit it out of the park every time. The drunken pasta is on a whole nother level of deliciousness
Excellent food. Well seasoned and fresh. Tried ordering online today. Very easy to navigate and request level of spiciness and add extras. Meal was ready when promised.
Such good curry!!! My husband got the pad thai, wow. Tender beef!! Fresh everything!! And super fast service even at lunch time!! It was literally only like 5 minutes until our food was ready.
This is a counter order place with really good Thai.
I've eaten here twice with family and we had the Chicken Cashew, Massaman Curry, and the fried rice. All were excellent. My goto place when I'm in Greensboro.
Recommended.
High speed outfit. Meats my bottom acceptance standard.
Too expensive, food wasn't as expected. Manager was rude, for a first time customer, who spend over 60$ for lunch.
First time here trying to order my food but didn't know what to order guy seemed to get frustrated with me because I was not sure what I wanted. Overall the food was delicious very good. The cooked explained to me what I was asking. Cash register guy need customer service lessons and be Thankful that ppl stop in for a bite to eat and not arrogant.
Called in order and told it'd be ready in 30 min. They didn't even start making food til after I arrived and paid then I had to wait 35 more minutes. Got home and found one dish was missing. BAD customer service!!! And food was only mediocre.
Spicy Ahi Poke bowl was awesome. Got it to share with my dad and he loved it. The cold spring rolls were huge and very well prepared and tasty, almost enough for a meal by themselves
Best freaking padthai in Greensboro
The Sriracha spicy noodle dish is my favorite thing ever!
Not bad but pretty underwhelming, I’ve had much better for a similar price, probably won’t be returning.
Family enjoyed the food
Let me preface this review with this: I love Thai corner kitchen. Very yummy, reasonably priced (I think) and the staff are all super nice. Tonight I had the drunken noodles and the duck egg rolls. The duck egg rolls were, in a word, SCRUMPTIOUS. so good and the sauce complimented them even more.
My only gripe with my meal is the noodle part of my drunken noodles. Where oh where have the wide noodles gone? Do you have to ask for them now? Because when I ordered my meal, I had a Harold and Kumar moment: I needed those wide, chewy, delicious drunken noodles in my tummy ASAP. but alas, when I excitedly ripped open the bag and was delighted by the egg rolls, I was a little let down by the drunken noodles:( they tasted amazing but still, the textures are all off.
Pls bring back the wide noodles<3
Krispy Kapow chicken is soooooo good!!! And so is the Wild Chicken!
Food was really good after a 8 mile hike. Filling yet light enough to not feel stuffed like a typical American lunch.
Fantastic Thai food. A go to for us.
The food was so good and they are Vegan friendly. The nice lady at the register was very helpful in helping me choose a Vegan entree.
First Thai food we've had since moving to Greensboro and a definite disappointment. Not bad but not great. The crab rangoon was the flattest I've ever seen! Barely any filling. The Pad See Ew was fine but nothing special. The red curry was nice - but it was a basic curry and hard to mess up. Overall just okay but won't be back
Authentic Thai Cuisine! You have to request "thai spicy" to get the non-Americanized version of the dish. Good Poke Bowls!!! implements social distancing.
Amazing thai restaurant! cute atmosphere and kind staff. i got the pad thai and it was a large portion. putting 4/5 stars because it’s more expensive than the other ones i’ve been to. will be returning!
Very small portion for noodle soup, very plain, no flavor, no quality of noodles. Drucken noodle is not that bad though.
Friendly folks and deeeelicous Thai Food!
Give it a try. A little disappointed the most recent visit in that they changed lettuces from mixed greens to non nutritive iceberg lettuce.
A fair amount of customer traffic. Food was good
I don't eat in Gboro often. They do a nice job of good Thai quick and reasonable. No frills just decent fare, quick.
Fairly priced and typically tasty. Stick to the hot Thai food- we ordered Poke Bowls one time and were quite underwhelmed.
Food good service great
Great value, food, & service. What more can you need?
Great Poke Bowl but my absolute favorite thing on the menu is their Sticky Rice!!! YUM!!!!
Very lovely staff. Took my order even though they were busy during closing time. They do have good food selection. Taste is good like spicy good.
This is our favorite Thai restaurant so far in Greensboro. And we love the Pad see ew dish.
Their flavors are amazing.
I tried the tofu and veg Pad see ew and it was so amazing. The vegetables gave a good flavor and the tofu is nicely fried. The flavor is good in every bite.
Ordering over the phone is very simple and your order is always ready in 15 mins. Or May be less than that.
Best Thai food in Greensboro hands down. All the employees are nice and hospitable. They can get busy on weekends, so make sure you place your take out orders early!
I’ve been a loyal customer for about five years. This restaurant is no longer as consistent as it used to be.
Recently my pregnant wife ordered a red curry, and she requested it to be prepared more mild. The curry was a great deal spicer than the usual base level of heat. It was pretty much inedible. It was out of our way to drive back for a refund. So we are not happy about wasting our money on what used to be a decent product.
This place is amazing. It has my favorite dish in Guilford county !.. the Krispy kapow Chicken is absolutely delicious.. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because sometimes the Crispy Kapow can be Soggy Kapow depending on the cook. I wish it was crispy every time. Besides that its heaven!
Always great food here.
Just a GREASY MESS!
Taste like my mom cooking which I miss thank you so much for cooking authentic Thai food
Great food and love the tofu options
Really awesome food, try the red curry! Also their tofu is the best restaurant tofu I've had!
Very nice staff... the food was Delicious I love their soups... a little expensive just a little but very good food.
Food was ok. Not particularly friendly or helpful staff. Kinda expensive for what you get.
I like this Thai restaurant. But sometimes, the amount is small. Overall, very delicious! I usually have red curry & drunken noodle. I have tried several drunken noodle in Greensboro, this restaurant is the best so far :-).
Always delicious food. The whole family loves it and can always find something that appeals to them. The Mussaman curry, Panang curry and Tom Kha Gai soup are my faves.
Enjoyed speaking Thai to the guy behind the counter. Friendly, kind, and enjoyed the food. Thanks!
Pineapple shrimp fried rice. Amazing.
Love the pad Thai and mussaman curry! Staff is always very friendly and helpful!
Delicious food and fast service. Love the spicy Sriracha noodles! Our family loves the hot sesame and Pad Thai too. Sad the Gate City location is closed now, loved that one, so convenient.
Great food and easy online ordering. I love that they have lunch specials as well, and highly recommend giving them a try.
Excellent yummy food
Yummy and unpretentious! They really hit the spot for some spicy Thai taste. Extra points for having an excellent online ordering system.
My favorite Thai place! The food is always perfect, staff is friendly and they cant change dishes to accommodate your spice preferences. Noodles are always soft and perfectly prepared never hard or tacky like some places. Fantastic menu full of great dishes, highly recommend their shrimp Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle with pork or chicken!
Some of the best flavor of Thai food in the area!
DO NOT eat here. The man at the register is the rudest person with zero customer service skillls. I was here 1 moth ago with my 11Y.O. and he charged me full price for her order, when I asked about it he reacted very upset and I also asked about why my plate was under the dinner price when it was only 3:20Pm, he said lunch time had ended already, his attitude was disgusting. I came back today thinking he maybe had a bad day back then but today he was still rude. We were looking at the menu and he is rushing US with a bad voice tone, I moved to the cashier to order and I ordered a red curry dish Lunch and he said “it is 3:30, no more lunch princes and I remember you from last time I already explained that to you” ( he treated as if I had done something bad last time) I said, I am sorry I didn’t remember at what time dinner starts, I thought 3pm for dinner is early. I told him he is rude and I left. I am all for supporting small businesses but I won’t be spending 1 cent on this restaurant ever and he needs to know that people has to be treated with respect specially if they are bringing business to your restaurant. He is very disrespectful, rude, impatient and charges anything he wants without asking you first. I love to support local small business but this man should no have no business and I won’t support him.
Good food and friendly service. I wasn't too crazy about the Styrofoam plates and cups.
My favorite thai place in the city and they are the fastest at getting pick up food it's like magic you can show up early and it will be hot and ready. Wish I could rate higher.
Very friendly service, great prices for lunch, excellent tasting food, what else could you want? Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.
I have bought the food. generally,i do not write review if the food is bad. food is avg. but the reason why i am writting review. i ordered and picked up. i picked up the food probably 10 mins after it was packed. still it was too hot which was good . but, the problem is that it was plastic container which is used for this red curry which probably cooked in 100'c . using plastic containers itself not good or safe for health in my opinion. storing food that is heated up to 100'C is very unsafe and can cause health issues. most Chinese & thai restaurents where i bought food around my area , they sell it using plastic containers. please stop using plastic containers for storing hot food
The pad thai, pad see ew and drunken noodles are all awesome!
Good fusion food
Tasty food and quick service. Nothing crazy just satisfying Thai food.
WAY different than the other Thai Corner Kitchen.
I live in Martinsville Va, but travels to Greensboro to order my favorite Phad, thai, papaya salad and red curry, this place serve very good food at a reasonable price, they never disappoint me.
Excellent Thai fast food at a decent price.
Great food with fresh ingredients
Good curry. Would love to see a little bigger portion and dine-in location (when return after covid).
Had the Thai drunken noodles, they came out pretty quickly and they were absolutely delicious
Good customer service and good place to eat Thai food
The food is good, but they need to accommodate for take out. It was very expensive for the portion size.
The food here is awesome. The peanut sauce is to die for
Food was not great and service was bad. I pay by credit card , they forgot bring my card and i had to go back and wait 20 mins to find out my card
Little place with family atmosphere and great home made flavor! Best coconut noodle soup in town! Unbeatable prices and very generous portions.
Over priced.
