Thai Restaurant serving traditional Thai and Chinese dishes prepared fresh to order. Buffet 11AM to 2PM Monday to Friday. Full service bar on site.
This place is awesome!! Everything I had was amazing. The fried pork dumplings were out of this world and paired well with the sauce. Super crunchy. Next, I honestly can’t remember what the chicken was called, but I would rate it five stars. The meat was tender, crunchy, and every bite made me want more. After the chicken was gone, have no fear, there was plenty of delicious sauce to pour over the rice. We also had a nice bottle of batter on standby near our table and we had ice cold water throughout our meal. Finally, the server was really nice and friendly.
I will truthfully say the food was not bad tasting. However, I placed an order online for the sweet sticky rice which says it comes with slices of mango. Got the the to go order and realized once I got home there was no mango. Called and they told me that there’s 3 different ones and the one I got doesn’t have mango when the description clearly says it does. Not to mention the others 2 sticky rices they said was on there didn’t exist on the order menu. Again, food was not bad tasting but menu is misleading and they did nothing to accommodate but just apologize for the mix up.
The best food you’d ever want to taste. I had the Mongolian beef and it was absolutely amazing hands down! The staff is very friendly makes you feel right at home. They even gave my daughter goodies from the Halloween bucket of candy they had. Thanks so much for such flavorful and delicious food. I will be sure to come back again! Thanks again!
I gave them 3 stars before but revised it.
Last time I came 30 minutes before closing, this time I came a few hrs before closing. Ordered the same dish and it was exceptional. Absolutely delicious. They do their noodles slightly different than I am used to (thinner) and it is a great change!!
EDIT: went back for curry and it is just as good!
My new favorite Fayetteville restaurant and the best curry I've had... EVER!
I can't say enough about this place. So delicious! Curry is always good, but this was so savory that each bite was an experiment in trying not to smile too much.
Their Thai ice tea is one of the best I've had too. I can't wait to go back. They do a weekday buffet between 11 and 2. Several people came in during our lunch specifically looking for it, but they don't do it on Saturday or Sunday.
Soda is by the bottle (i.e., no free refills).
The children and broccoli is my favorite. Compliments to the Chef!!!!!
Great people and food is good and fresh
Great food . Would go again.

Absolutely amazing! Food, service, atmosphere. Hidden gem. Ate, played pool, ate more. Thank you. Morgan was so kind and her other teammates.
My favorite Thai restaurant was closed so I figured we’d try a new one we haven’t tried before. I ordered the same thing I usually get and wow I was super disappointed we didn’t even finish our bowls. The Thai tea was the only thing I thought was delicious. The food wasn’t horrible it just wasn’t as flavorful as I’m used too.
Buffet and menu items same price. Buffet items ate marked, so if you don't want spice it's easy to determine what to choose.
Owner needs to learn every bad review or complaint is not a personal attack. It is just that, an experience. The back and forth and belittling of people who come and plan to return to your business is unacceptable. People are allowed to share THEIR EXPERIENCE.
I dined here while working in Fayetteville. I was not disappointed!! Ordered the udon noodles for lunch and did not fail to finish my plate. Everything was fresh and I appreciated the extra veggies in my meal. Way better than other Thai places I have tried in the area. The spicy level was perfect and the service was excellent! I will surely be back when I visit the Fayetteville area again. Thanks for a great experience!
This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The portion sizes are huge, making the prices fair. Staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. Will definitely be back soon.
Great Thai buffet that is fresh, clean and authentic!
Really good and refreshing meal.
Don't have the variety for the price! The buffet is targeted more toward spicy 80-20 than at least 60-40 on main food, excluding salads, fruit & desserts.
Absolutely the worst Thai buffet I have ever had. Hardly any meat anywhere. Almost all the dishes are vegetable. The spring rolls are straight cabbage. They cut every corner they possibly can. I wouldn't go back there if it was free. Go spend your money somewhere else.
I moved 8 years ago and still think about this place. I miss the tom kha gai and cheese wontons.
The lunch buffet is amazing and has a decent size spread. They change up sometimes so you can always try different things. That way you know what you want when you want to order dinner or to go. The waitresses are awesome and always smiling. The chefs are doing a fantastic job. The place is also connected to a veteran's bar open to all. If you're getting noodles instead of the buffet one day.... try Pad se ew!
Basil chicken fried rice was all rice, some pieces of chicken, a few cooked leaves and no types of other vegetables. Mongolian beef was good, could've been more beef, but good nonetheless.
My 94 year old mom loves Thai Pepper!! Chef is from Thailand!! Staff is friendly and helpful. Lunch buffet is the best!!!
Great food. Fresh. Service is good most days, just not this trip. Still a great place.
I just called. The phone says "This mailbox is not accepting messages." What messages? A person does not leave messages. People call restaurants to ask questions like " DO you gave a buffet," DO you have take-out," "What time do you close?" Boycotting this place.
They always have excellent food and great service. A must - go restaurant anytime I'm in town.
Placed an order over the phone and based the price off of the menu online. I asked over the phone after ordering how much it would be I was told completely different price after coming in and waiting in the food. I did pay to receive the food but please be transparent with the pricing the lady apologized saying they were busy but that is not okay because I could have taken my business elsewhere.
We eat here at least once a week. The food is always amazing, service impeccable, authentic atmosphere. Absolute best place for Thai food in town.
Great place for lunch buffet!
So you can’t go on the weekends and you can’t go after 7 during the week anymore? 7 pm is prime time dinner time for many families… by the time I’ve wanted to go I have to keep remembering you all close at 7 now, and have missed the opportunity to. I recommend House of Thai… same quality, good price and more accommodating hours.
Lunch buffet is the only reason I dine here. Hours are from 11a-2p. Been coming here for over 25years...used to dine more frequently when we lived in NC, but now make it a stop whenever we visit.
Food is always hot and fresh. medium spicy level for most dishes, be careful! Favorites are pad thai, papaya salad, beef salad, larb, egg rolls, cheese wonton, beef basil, chicken curry, pad woon sen if they have it, chicken wings.pad prik king.
My go to for Thai lunch buffet. Awesome stuff.
The food was good but to get the freshly cooked food you must arrive before 1pm.
If you order spicy, be prepared for the spiciest food you’ve ever eaten. I’ve never been to Thailand but can only assume the spice is authentic - you won’t find anything like it anywhere else. The service was extremely friendly. I was able to chat with a lady from Thailand who spoke about the local food and how it was prepared. I was quite impressed at her knowledge as well as the amount she was willing to speak. It felt like she cared personally about how I enjoyed the food. Portion size was also massive! The food I ordered was enough for dinner and leftovers the next day. Absolutely delicious, though next time I will be ordering the “mild” instead of “hot” because I am utterly unprepared for Thai level spiciness
Best place to eat in Fayetteville. Staff is so friendly. The food is off the charts amazing! I travel an hour just to come eat here. Thank you for existing!
Went there not realize they have changed management. The food was not great at all or authentic. I ordered Thai basil. It was on sweet side. Ordered beef salad it was so salty, couldn’t really finish it. The Thai ice tea was a miss too. It was so sweet not sure what’s in it didn’t taste like Thai ice tea at all. The service was nice. But the food was really not great. It’s too bad because I used to go there often. Now I have to find a different Thai spot.
The food is really good but the buffet needs some work. My last few experiences have been lack of fresh food and some items completely empty except at 11am when it starts. It’s always busy when I’ve gone so I don’t understand why the buffet food doesn’t actually get filled and refreshed 11-2. I get they want to clean up near the end but and entire hour is ridiculous.
Thai Pepper restaurants are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Thai cuisine. From the moment you step into one of their locations, you are greeted with warm and welcoming hospitality that makes you feel right at home.
One of the standout features of Thai Pepper is their commitment to using high-quality, fresh ingredients in all of their dishes. Each bite bursts with vibrant flavors and a perfect balance of sweet, savory, spicy, and sour elements that make Thai food so unique and exciting.
The menu at Thai Pepper is extensive and diverse, offering something for everyone. Whether you are a fan of classic Thai dishes like pad thai, tom yum soup, and green curry, or you want to try something new and adventurous, like their crispy duck or pineapple fried rice, you are sure to find something that satisfies your cravings.
In addition to their delicious food, Thai Pepper restaurants also offer a cozy and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying a meal with friends and family. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the service is top-notch.
Overall, I highly recommend Thai Pepper restaurants to anyone looking for a memorable and delicious dining experience. Their commitment to quality and authenticity shines through in every dish, and I can't wait to visit again!
Great food
Thai Tea is always too sweet. Pud Thai noodles rubbery, and my spicy meat balls were still cold in. Best thing I’ve had is the chicken Satay!!
Not enough food displayed in trays. Otherwise, the food was good.
Went to lunch buffet and it was trash. Old owner was very pleasant and food was great. Will not be returning.
The cooks definitely know how to take and make a hot treat! I ordered medium pepper, and I simply couldn't eat it all. It was just too hot for me and I love hot pepper.
The food was absolutely delicious. Don't get me wrong. I loved the heat.
They close lunch at 2 pm. If you arrive after 1230 pm your choices are severely limited.
Best Thai buffet in Fayetteville!
Today i ordered 2 summer rolls from Thai Pepper on Starpoint Drive. The rollls were terrible 2 for $7.50. They were full of lettuce not, rolled tight at all. When unwrapped to eat it fell apart. 1 piece of shrimp each roll. Little roast beef if that is what if it
I called and was told that they had a trainee preparing the food practicing today. Not a good idea to practice making summer rolls and you have customers waiting for food. The rolls I was very disappointed. I Will not be ordering any more. You need to do better and not have a trainee preparing food.
Small but delicious
Great lunch buffet.
The food was hot and tasty
Went in last night at 620. They close at 7. Was told they were done for the night, no more orders, no dine in. Last straw with them, as others have said, they don't restock their buffet, they don't give refills, etc. Asian Express is like a mile down the road and they give better portions with much better customer service 😉
Great Thai food. Right next to Charlie Mike's pub. Tracy the owner is great, place is fantastic to Veterans. Only Thai resteraunt, I would eat and only pub to go to when in town. Thanks as well to Mary, Mack, Sammy, and the rest if the staff for making the place feel like home.
I was severed stale noodles that were border line inedible, and frozen vegetables. The only thing that was good was the shrimp which I was only given five for a price of 16 dollars for the meal which is an awful dollar to shrimp ratio. Horrible Pad Thai, my stomach is hurting as I write this.
Years ago when I was stationed at Fort Bragg, and the Thai Pepper was Great, and a regular go-to. 20 years later, on a business trip, still great.
If you order an entree, rather than eat from the buffet, you will likely have the options of mild, medium, hot, Thai hot, and double Thai hot. You don't need Thai hot, regular hot will make the sweat break out on the back of your head. Great food. Great staff.
UPDATE 4-21-Back to check on what was going on. Big improvement. -Been a great place for long time, .........................................................
Good food 😊 !
Love the authentic food and fresh 😋.
Great food especially the combination fried rice. I highly recommend it.
A waste of $15.00, should be more like $5.00. I arrived at 11 am on the dot to enjoy the buffet. Everything had to be made days prior because it wasn’t fresh, my noodles were borderline rank and the inside of the spring rolls were cold. Also sanitation’s score is a 90, kind of low. Lady dropped something off her plate at the buffet and proceeded to kick it under the buffet. First and last time.
I used to love this place. But it’s been getting bad over the years. No flavor and overpriced. You get a lot of food, but it has no taste to it.
Absolutely 💯 great Thai food.
I got the buffet. As far as a buffet is concerned, pretty great! I feel ordering from the menu would have better food and I'll definitely be back to try that out
Definitely had enough spice for a buffet line! 👌🏾
Best pad Thai in town
I will not return!! We arrived at 1 pm and got our first plate but most of the main dishes were empty or dried out so we figured they would be refreshing soon. 10 -15 minutes later, there are no refills. I ask the woman at register if they were going to replenish and she said " there is some lemon chicken coming out." I asked about the others and she rudely and in a snippy tone said " we close at 2!" I said well, we got here at 1! If you aren't going to add food after 1 then close it at 1 and let people finish what is left. After I asked her, a few more customers came in and she told them " we close at 2 so whatever is there is all." There are 2 other Thai buffets which keep a much better stock until their actual " closing or ending time" and quite honestly have much tastier food in our opinion so I am not paying 13.00 for a skimpy dried out buffet with rude staff. Sorry, she was not overworked there were on a few people coming in and she just sat people and got your drink. At no time was a refill offered. I could understand if a business is slammed busy especially nowadays that nobody wants to work but it was not the first time. It had been a while since we were there for lunch because they were not well stocked then and when you have limited lunch time, you can't really wait around and hope for refills. Never again!!
The best Thai food I have had in a long time and the service is great also.
Been looking for a place that has good Pud Khee Mow, my favorite place changed chefs a while back. Finally found some good Pud Khee Mow here! Great staff, fast, and a good food!
Awesome Thai food! Fresh, hot and so much for your money. Definitely can be eaten the next day! 🤗
The food was great
We went to Thai Pepper Restaurant this past Saturday and we were going for the buffet but they don't have it on the weekend. But we decided to eat there anyway. Well Alex was our server and she was very nice and attentive. The food is delicious and the portions are so big that we had leftovers for the next day. I had the yellow curry combo, mild and omg how delicious. My son had the pineapple fried rice, spicy with beef and that too was scrumptious. We also had the shrimp rolls that are way big and the sauce for dipping was lip smacking. We also had fried dumplings, well do I have to say it again so yummy!! We will definitely be back for more food soon. Thank you for a very pleasant meal.
Best wings in Fayetteville.
Not as good as the original owners.
Food too spicy and salty.
Hands down the best tasting Asian buffet in town. Others are bigger, but the food here is outstanding. Get here before 11:30 when the crowd really starts to arrives. There were people waiting up to 20 minutes in the morning for them to open. Okay, I admit I was one of them. The buffet here is THAT good.
I have only been once and ordered food to go. The lady who took my order was courteous, the food came pretty quickly. I felt very comfortable while I briefly waited.
I ordered a very standard Pad Thai - I thought the price was a pretty steep - but when I got the order, I understood - it was HUGE! I ate my fill (and I'm a big eater) and shared the rest with my mom, who couldn't even finish it. I'd love a half portion for half the price!
I ordered "medium spicy" (choices were little, medium, a lot and Thai spicy) - I think of myself as someone who can tolerate spicy foods and I eat spicy regularly. But the medium was seriously my threshold of spice. I was surprised! It was on the verge of being too spicy for me to enjoy. That was a surprise! Never happens to me. I'm so curious if I ordered it again if it would be the same or if it was a mistake.
I wasn't in love with the dish. It had more fish sauce in it, than any Pad Thai I've ever had. It tasted like fish sauce and ketchup... And spice. I missed the flavor nuance. It needed more green onion and bean sprouts.
I'd go back and try the buffet, though. It looked really popular and Pad Thai can really be a matter of personal taste and experience.
Sum up -
Nice service
Huge portions - that reflect in the price (so go ahead and split your meal with a friend)
Very Spicy
Not the best ever food flavor but.....
Try the buffet
Always my favorite
Food isn't good.
Always a good little joint. Buffet is back open now. No masks required. Awesome how they were able to keep CM going during the pandemic.
This place has gone downhill over there years but is back to great at the buffet.
One of the few places in Fayetteville that has their buffett open now. Absolutely delicious.
Great food is good my go2 for lunch wished they opened at 1030i instead of 1100 little pricey for the 2go buffet will definitely go broke eating there everyday
Good buffet
$14 for 2 orders of beef jerky. I got the jerky and it’s 6 small pieces in each container. Wth am I suppose to do with this? SMH
The spring rolls are excellent
Fantastic yellow curry, waitress was super attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back.
This restaurant has completely fell off since the pub next to it became one. This is the second time my order has been messed up. I asked for medium spice and I get none. The previous time I asked for more spice and it tasted like they added the hottest version.
This last order, the rice was mushy and had very little vegetables even though I asked for VEGETABLE fried rice.
To top it off, I walk in the restaurant and not only is everyone walking around with no mask (I assume they worked there) there was a whole DOG walking around unleashed!!
It’s apparent the restaurant is under new management.
Very disappointed and dissatisfied. I’ll have to find a new Thai restaurant because I’m done with this one.
Ordered the drunken noodles with tofu. The food felt overpriced for what I got, even if it tasted fine. The tofu was overcooked, vegetables somewhat undercooked, and it wasn't spicy at all despite me asking for medium spice. The food was still fine and I carried out leftovers, but I wouldn't order it again.
My favorite place to eat in Fayetteville.
Pricey but great food
Great drunken noodles and great service!
Food is AMAZING! It's so fresh, so authentic, and the lady here is soooo nice!
Arrived in early afternoon and waited over five minutes before anyone greeted us. The girl comes out and asks us ”can I help you?” ”Just want to have something to eat.” ”Oh, wait a minute.” After a few minutes she asks again, ”what can I do for you?” ”We would like to eat.” Then, in a deliberately uninviting tone, ”Oh, then, grab some menus and a table.” We grabbed menus the thought screw this place and left.
Great food and better service
Love this thai food place! Mango sticky rice is amazing!
Consistent, excellent, quick food, great customer service. Also appreciate the genuine support of the Green Berets and SF.
Best Thai foods restaurant in Fayetteville
Great place to eat!!
Great food 😋
The food tasted...ok. This was without a doubt the most expensive Thai restaurant that I have ever been to. Thai people are known for their great food and reasonable prices. Not here this one is greedy.
Drunken Noodle and Mongolian Beef are fabulous!!
End of an era... Used to go on Saturday nights for years but now the front entrance is always blocked by dozens of motorcycles from the bar next door. As you try to squeeze thru the bikes, the thick cloud of smoke from same bar destroys the appetite (along with loud voices and cursing last week). That smoking area needs to be moved to the back of the building for the sake of all the businesses in that block. However, the final straw for us and many regulars is the food quality has recently changed for the worst. The era is gone and regrettably so are we.
I ordered Thai beef salad. The beef was cold, straight from the fridge so was not cooked fresh. Not spicy at all. And the dressing was disappointing too. Basically this is nothing like the Thai beef salad. I can get this from a salad bar at a grocery store, but instead, I paid $14 for this dish. Very disappointed and will not visit again.
It was okay, nothing to write back home about
Great authentic food. Loved it
OMYum!!! I was a diehard Asian Express Fan...Not anymore...even the house made This Sauce was better...
Underwhelming
This is hands down the best place to get spring rolls in Fayetteville! Personally this is my favorite Thai place, because the buffet is always super fresh. The service is also always very friendly and the restaurant is clean. Pleasant atmosphere, I hate when places are too loud, but they’re not.
Omg!
This restaurant is in my top 2.
Ijs
I love the food here so much !!
Not impressed, I am assuming that it's the buffet that gets the high reviews.
The place uncomfortably quiet, no music.
The curries and tom kha were way too sweet.
The lemongrass in the Tom Kha was tough. I was charged an extra $5 to add veggies to my curry that only came with bamboo shoots. The garlic chicken was just ok. I feel I am being generous giving 2 stars. :/
Good service and nice portions!
The place was almost empty this evening, only one other table of eight. My veggie Pad Thai was very good - as usual - but my wife's beef dish was quite tough. Service was good.
Soups were good
Amazing food. Great price. Great customer service. Did I say amazing food??? 😋
The Food here was so hot it had me sweating like a beast!!! I love it! I can't wait to come back on my next business trip!!!
This restaurant deserves your patronage, when it's open. What kind of restaurant isn't open on Saturday?!
I love their curries and spring rolls (the best!). I might try the other location on Saturday to see if it's just as good.
Fiancee and I frequent this place. Excellent service and excellent authentic food. We will keep coming back
Great food and service
My absolute fav in Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg area.
I loved this place. We will go back.
The Thai Fried Rice is the best in town! For a great price
Amazing food and super friendly staff every time I eat here. If you enjoy, spicy food, there's absolutely no place better in Fayetteville. If spicy ain't your thing, no worries, they have other stuff that won't burn ya out. I grew up here in Fayetteville, and I have to say, this place is one of my favorites!
Excellent customer service, however, food was extremely sweet. Ordered yellow curry and the potatoes included in the meal were not cooked all the way through, and it tasted like they added a bag of sugar to the curry. No other seasoning. Just curry powder and sugar. It was gross, to me. Not really for me. If you like super sweet food you might like this.
Amazing Food 👌 great staff!
My daughter loves it but it's just not for me.
Food wasn't fresh
Fantastic food! The dumplings are heavenly!
Came after their buffet was done so ordered off their menu. The food was flavorful and medium spice was on spot not sure I could do any spicer.
Food could be hotter....especially since it was lunch rush.
Simply the best food and environment!
Excellent buffet and great service
