Authentic Thai cuisine along with other Asian inspired dishes. Locally owned and operated. Friendly and welcoming staff.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Boonma Thai restaurant and was blown away by the flavors and service. The Thai vegetable fried rice was a standout, packed with vibrant, perfectly cooked vegetables that blended seamlessly with the fluffy rice. Each bite was a burst of flavor, with subtle hints of garlic and soy, and just the right amount of spice.
The vegetable spring rolls were another highlight—crispy and golden on the outside, while fresh and packed with crunchy vegetables on the inside. They were the perfect light starter, especially when dipped in the tangy, sweet chili sauce.
As for the sesame chicken, it was a delightful balance of sweet and savory. The chicken was tender and juicy, coated in a sticky, sesame-laden sauce that added a rich depth of flavor without being overpowering.
To top it off, the service was quick and polite, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning for more!
I want to say I don't know why these other reviews are so terrible. As you can see from the picture, the portion is huge. I ordered the vegetable Pad Thai with mild spice and it stayed hot and fresh throughout the 20-minute drive home. They do line the plates with foil, so if you have foil in your food, just be mindful how far you dig your fork into the plate. The mild spice is tasty but I wish I went a little spicier. If you're familiar with Thai food, each place has their own definition of spice and mild can be extremely spicy at some places. I went with the safe bet but next time I will go a little spicier. I also ordered the six pack of spring rolls. They stayed crispy on the way home and it came with three sauces on the side. I have a feeling this will be lunch and dinner for me as it is a lot of food for a good price! I will definitely be back.
Boonma Thai is definitely my new spot for Thai food! It wasn't one dish that we didn't enjoy. Everything tasted good and the portions! 😊 The food came out quick and was hot and fresh! Thank you Malia for the great service and laughs! The best service I've had in a while. They also serve some Chinese dishes. Y'all definitely check this place out! You won't be disappointed. 😊
My wife and I went for lunch at the recommendation of some friends and we’re not disappointed. We both got chicken Pad Thai. I got mine medium and she got hers mild. We agreed we both could’ve gone up one more spice level. The Pad Thai lunch comes with 2 spring rolls and we ordered an appetizer of pork dumplings. Portion size is substantial. I ate all mine and was definitely too full. My wife had enough for left-overs for a light dinner.
The service was quick and the food came out hot. The lady beside us got a curry that looked delicious as well.
Limited drink selection from the fridge: Coke, Diet Coke, bottled water, lemonade and tea.
Good experience overall.
Now, I LOVE spicy food...when it's flavorful.. I ordered Thai hot curry. Now usually when you order a hot curry I expect some peppers and whatnot, but it mostly to be emulsified or blended in some way. The peppers were all just sunk to the bottom. Half of my curry was peppers...awful will never be back here again. I don't know if it was because we ordered it almost before closing (didn't know they were closing till I looked to get a refund), but I wish instead of serving me this they'd just close down shop early.
Me and my mother both had the Pad See Ew and it was amazing. The Thai Hot spice level was actually spicy. The portions are large and the prices are fair. I will be recommending to friends and family 😊
I came specifically for this soup and was greatly disappointed. When we arrived I ordered the soup closets to pho I specifically said the one with cilantro and sprouts. I also ordered my daughter chicken lo mein. We sat her Lo mein came out I walked up and order one to go still waiting on my soup. My take home order of lo mein came out and I was still waiting on my soup. When my soup comes out it looked like this no cilantro no sprouts. I ordered Thai hot and that’s all I got the broth had no flavor just spice. I was not even offered to fix it or my money back. The lo mein was flavorful but the soup was so bland and the noodles super soggy for my liking.
I tried to place an order over the phone, but was put on hold for almost 20 minutes. Went into the store, cashier was very rude and didn't even apologize. She just said 'we be busy '. I'm a customer just like the people she was chatting up while I was on hold. I'm hungry, just getting off work. So I placed my order. It won't happen again though. The disrespect can't be tolerated.
Every time it’s amazing.

I love love the pud prig king. They have different options of having it made. The service is always friendly, food is always fresh.
Great tasting vegetarian options. Quick service and well packed to go meals.

Thank you for the years of quality service & delicious food.☺️☺️🫶🫶

Second time coming here. The food is great, the service is quick. This will definitely be my to go thai spot.
returning to my table after using the restroom I noticed a cook cutting vegetables' while smoking. the place is fairly dirty.
2nd time ordering, 1st was great. I always order beef, because I'm allergic to pork. They sent me pork and beef, and the dish screamed reheated. I simply can't eat here again.
It is pretty darn good. I like the Thai Ginger a lot.
Ordered Thai fried rice with chicken. The chicken was tough and the rice was hard. Egg rolls were tough. The tomatoes were old tasting.
The food is absolutely delicious and very fresh tasting !!!!!!
Exquisite food
I observed a worker get up from eating lunch and make a customer's drink order without washing her hands. Disgusting
Since the owner responded, it was today 6/12 around 1:30pm. I picked up a takeout order and there was a soldier behind the counter. I also have solid proof that I'd be more than happy to post on your FB page if you deny this
The servings were plentiful (Soup, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Spring Rolls, & Chicken Pad Thai). Every order was made fresh.
The food was delicious! Arrive with a hefty appetite.
There was aluminum foil pieces in my food
Great place to stop in for a quick dinner or takeout for my family after I’ve been working. Food is always fresh and made to order with high quality ingredients. Service is excellent.
We ordered the noodle soups. One with chicken was downright delicious, but the one with beef was downright nasty. The beef looked like balls of brown very brown hot dogs. The taste of the so called beef was obnoxious.
What was that. However, the shrimp fried rice was soooooooooo good.
"I tried Thai food for the first time and it was amazing! They would have received five stars from me, but the only issue was that there wasn't enough food in my container for the price. I would have preferred a little more chicken or a larger side dish for the 14 to 15 dollars that I paid. It felt more like a lunch portion than a dinner size. However, the service was magnificent. I love the service at this restaurant - it's hands down the best. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the people are great. It's now my go-to place for Thai food."
Rice is super dry and they don't carry any kind of sauce to put on it. Warning from those who order from Grubhub!
Edit: The owner replied and said I was offered house sauce.. which I was NOT I was offered Spring roll sauce... for rice.. haha but thanks for the reply. Maybe add the sauces you offer on the grubhub app (:

They have no flavor in their soup it takes a extra long to come and they take pictures before they give you , your food , 2 star overall
My wife and I stopped in for lunch, the point of sale machine went down and they weren't able to take our payment up front. They didn't hesitate to seat us and make the food while waiting for the machine to work. I had the pad Thai with duck. It was amazing my wife got the drunken Noodles and loved every bite. Highly recommend.
Ordered pas sew woo it was dry, not enough sauce so doesn’t have much flavor you can taste the noodles more than anything I get this dish from other places and they make it good, Sawadee is my favorite and you can see there it’s cooked with enough sauce to soak in the flavor. Dissatisfied at this one. Don’t think I will go back!

January 14, 2024 was my first time placing an order through Uber for Boonma Thai, on the menu it gives you an option to add egg, I did not add egg because I am Vegan. When I received my order Egg was in my food. The store was still opened so my husband and I drove there. We get there and the cashier in the front was not helpful at all she just kept saying I know he not going to make your food over because egg comes in it. So I say well it doesn't give an option to take it off online it just says add egg so anyway I asked for the manager she said "She's not here ma " . Worst customer service ever!!! They would not remake my food after I told them over and over I would get sick if I ate it. We spent over 50.00 and ate absolutely nothing. Since they wouldn't re-make it I gave our order to the customer behind us and we left. This restaurant does not care about their customers well being , they rather save a dollar. I wish I didnt even have to give them a 1 they deserve a 0.
Staying down here for work and found this place...got the Pad Thai which was fantastic but needs to come with warning level for the hot levels hahahaha got the 2x hot and can't feel my face smh portions were insane but may be best to get there normal spice level! Goof nonetheless!
The food is really good. I had the spring rolls and Pad See Ew! However, they didn’t put the sauce on my noodles as described on the menu so my meal was very dry for my take out order. When I went again, to sit and eat, the owner was not friendly or fond of kids. She was irritated that my son was moving the stuff on the table around.
Loved the tofu/veggie options and various levels of spice to make it actually spicy
Best pad thai EVER
Loved the fried rice. Only complaint was that I was sad when it was gone. There was plenty of rice though. Husband said the green curry was good but the wings were the best.
Waitress/Hostess was awesome!!! She was patient and knowledgeable Food was served as ordered. I got my drunken noodles medium spicy.
Was my 1st and last time eating here, had got lo mein, was super greasy and seemed like it was recooked, didn't taste fresh, I've had fresher Thai lo mein from other places. So greasy that it made me ill. Heard good things about this place, but I'll stick to the places I know, where stuff is fresh. The cashier was very nice tho.... that's the least I can say....
10/10
I got a lunch special chicken pad Thai. It was phenomenal to say the least and probably the best pad Thai I have ever had. The price was unreal for a massive plate of food, a drink, and two spring rolls. Overall I’d say that it was a great experience. If you’re reading this you need to try their food.
Gave me a free caprisun.
Stopped in yesterday for the first time and wow - so many good things to say!
The counter service was excellent and prompt, and the Pad Thai - along with being a huge portion - was delicious! Will absolutely be back.
I purchased some Pad Thai and the food was really smelly and the noodles was hard! I had a upset stomach all night
Why is a Thai place closed for memorial day
The phad thai: 99% rice stick, invisible egg, maybe one green onion, the smallest available shrimp (not fresh tasting), no bean sprout, really syrupy sauce.
Two people's take out ticket was 40 bucks.
Massive rice stick portions cover up the fact this dish was subpar. Do better!
this place doesn’t care about your food they gave me some nasty pad Thai and didn’t do anything about it , it was dry and I paid 3dollars for extra sauce
I've been trying all the local Thai food spots and I think I've finally found one that I will become a regular at. This food is so good. I loved the spice level. Every bite was so full of flavor. This place is definitely one of those shopping center gems. The lady at the front counter was nice and patient with me asking questions. I'll definitely be back soon.
Horrible Customer Service I Won’t Be Going Back Hire Better People With Better Attitudes!
Order through door dash, I ordered a Thai coffee and green curry. Thai coffee was great however the green curry is super water down.. it’s not a traditional curry so I would recommend going somewhere else. When I received my order, the bottom half of the container was just filled with water.
Here for two pickups for deliveries and wait time is ridiculous. Been waiting over 30 minutes. Might need more than one cook in the kitchen.
Delicious food and drinks, great service
Not the same person that’s usually there. I’m a regular customer to this store and this is the first time I’ve seen this lady. She was very rude and I do not know why people support businesses with horrible service. My family and friends will never return. Food is good but I can’t deal with a horrible attitude. Not giving my money to businesses like this.
I just put in a order for curry not hot and it's so hot I can't eat it and it's a tiny portion I pay 30 dollars for this threw dash . Now I habe no lunch and wasted my money
The lady was rude at the counter and the food was not good

Good experience overall.
The quality of food has gone down significantly. Ordered food tonight and the pork pad Thai actually smelled rancid and we had to throw it in the trash. Literally threw the whole meal in the trash. Food should not smell that way. Disgusting.
Don’t know what their actual store is like but the food is very good! Got it delivered last night and I was thoroughly happy. Been looking for a good Thai spot and I’ve found it! Personal favorites are the Basil Fried Rice, Pad Thai and Lo Mein, also Spring Rolls were delicious! As well as portion sizes at least for my delivered food were enough for multiple meals. 100% recommend
Awesome customer service, great host & it came out in a timely manner. I would recommend to anyone the drunken noodle was delicious!! I’ll be back again
Worst customer service. New management make everything worst. I will never go over there. We have lots of Thai Resturant in Fayetteville. Don’t want to go over there pay and see there tantrums.
I don’t know what happened here but it used to be one of the best Thai places around but in recent months it has gone way downhill!
Great food. I used to go to Prik Thai right down the road, but this is better service and food.
Not sure why they got such great reviews on the Thai fried rice. Everywhere else I had it, there was plenty of meat mixed in with the rice. I just spend $16.20 for a tray full of rice with 2 pieces of beef that are so tough I can't even chew them, 3 pieces of chicken, and 3 shrimp and of course a ton of rice that has no flavor and should have been spicy but isnt. Needless to say, I'm not happy I just wasted that much money on some rice. I will not be eating there again, and I don't recommend them unless you like paying close to $20 for a tray of rice. You get way better Thai fried rice with a whole lot more meat throughout the rice and not just a couple pieces on top from Speedy Rice down the road from them, and the price is just below what you will pay for this rip off from Boonma. I wish I could demand my money back!!!!!
Very nice people working here, Setiva was very polite and helpful accommodating to my boyfriends allergies 10/10 and I highly recommend their curry, it’s amazing!
Setiva was a super friendly and conversational waitress. She made sure to prioritize keeping my food allergies away from my meal. Which allowed me to try curry for the very first time. Easy to say, it was amazing. Thank you for the great service! -Zach
This was my first time at Boonma Thai. I called the restaurant to place a carry out order and spoke with the nicest woman. I had the yellow curry and spring rolls and they were both very good. I’ll be back!
This is the Worst Thai I have ever had. Bad/dry customer service. General chicken was so dry we had to ask for some sauce. We hear the waitress tell the cooks in a mocking voice “it’s too dry”. They brought some sauce and it was so salty it couldn’t be poured over it.
We left, and still gave a nice tip.
I Do not recommend.
They have awesome food and a good location
Have eaten at Boonma many times over the years. August and her parents were great and the food was as well. Got food for my family today and it was terrible. Don’t know what has happened. Don’t know if management changed or cook changed or both, but will have to scratch Boonma off the list of food options.
Great environment, friendly staff.
Great food. Authentic.
By far the best Thai food that I have eaten in years. The food is definitely made to order. Noodles are firm. Flavors and ingredients are authentic and very tasty. Meats are tender and cooked just right. No rubbery or soggy noodles. No tough, overcooked meats. Everything was cooked just right. The food was so fresh, you had to blow on it to cool. But it tasted so good that I couldn't wait and I kept burning my tongue anyway. I highly recommend.
Response to Reply: So you put a woman with pulled teeth that was clearly under the influence on the phones?? Clearly some great management over there. It sounded like she was totally out of it, which obviously poses a risk to herself and others. Short staffed or not, not a great decision.
Original Review: Woman who answered the phone sounded like she was under the influence of something, she had no clue there was a menu right here on Google and apparently the prices are significantly cheaper on the menu here than what they currently charge. It was difficult trying to converse with her due to what I've already mentioned above. Just didn't get a good vibe, won't risk eating there.
Excellent and authentic! Absolutely delicious; why doesn’t this place have five stars? Boonma deserves five stars!!!
OMG - never again! The food was awful - overcooked and it smelled and tasted almost rotten! We ate at site, but there were only take-out styrofoam "dishes" and cheap plastic utensils available! The lady who took our order was nice, though!
Omg!! Now this is as authentic as you will get when looking for Pad Thai here in Fayetteville. It's been three years since I haven't had it and it was so good.
Plus you can't beat a full plate of Pad Thai for $8.99 plus 2pcs of spring rolls during their lunch hours. 😋
**Don't mind my blue jacket lol it was cold in there. **
super friendly staff and delicious food
I ordered the Thai Chicken fried rice and after two forkfuls I couldn't find anymore Chicken, but there was an abundance of onions. 😝
Great food.
I always have a great time whenever I go. Staff is very friendly and everytime I try something new I'm pleasantly surprised. I recommend the yellow curry, or the chicken fried rice, as those are my favorite dishes. Also their Thai Tea is amazing!
This place is amazing. Great customer service. The food is delicious. I love their soups and fried rice must must must get the spring rolls. The food is always fresh don’t forget to ask for their specials
I ordered the lunch special which had great spice/ flavor veggies but could have had a little more chicken as I only had 3 small pieces.
Very bad customer service they changed our order and then denied to replace that dish or to give refund very rude on the phone and hung up
These people told me that placing a lunch order would be 30 - 45 mins when I walked in....not a spot to get lunch at all.
I ordered the curry chicken that comes with white rice. I got a big container of broth, with barely any chicken in it, HUGE chunks of carrots and BIG slices of onions. Expensive dish, with barely any chicken. The best part was the steamed white rice that kept me from starving on my lunch break. I've had better in the city. Asian Express for example....
Great food.
Love this place
Best Thia food in the city hands down. I’ve eaten at every single one of them and this one is the best. The Thia fried rice is untouchable. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.
Great food!!
It's exactly what I needed right now. This food was so good. I ordered two spring rolls (delicious), the red mild chicken curry with white rice (wow), tofu pad Thai (forgot about it). I waited in the restaurant for my food and the customers were friendly and so was the girl at the front. I needed this experience tonight, it really made my day.
Love the food here. Very delicious and I would recommend to anyone. The only issue I have is the portion sizes. I normally get the Chicken Thai Basil and it just seems like each time the portion size gets smaller and smaller. Every time I get my food I say “I’m not going back, I’m not getting my money’s worth.” The food is so good, I often forget I even made that kind of comment. I really do wish I could have more than what I get though.
Best Thai food in town.... will not regret it..
Was very good and staff was friendly
Good food and great people!
Very good food. It's delicious and the worker's are very polite.
Love this family owned business, great food.
Awesome food. Fast service.
Love the food and the people. I often crave this place.
Love this place. The food is always fresh and amazing.
I stood in there for 10 minutes waiting to order and no one bothered to come to the front. I yelled hello, called the store thinking it would bring someone out, there was definitely someone back there and the open sign was on it was the middle of the day. Disrespectful
Food came out quickly. Best Thai food in town, Service is awesome as well.
Papaya salad is great. Beef salad had one piece of Beef, so I felt ripped off. The cashier was a tad bit aloof, maybe she had an off day, who's judging. All in all, I'm not going back cause it's way over priced for a lack of good food.
Love the food and the staff! Always worth the trip!
OMG Awesome delicious. Our curry is always perfect and the fried rice is so so so delicious, cashew chicken that sauce amazing. Always friendly.
Great, meal at reasonable cost. Meat was tasty and tender.
THE BEST!
Loved it! We kept driving by wondering why we had never tried it, and finally on new year day we did and were not disappointed. The thai fried rice was flavorful, hot, and fed us for 2 meals! Definitely give it a shot. The only downside is location, if you're turning onto Raeford road, it can be tricky depending on the time of day.
I had the Thai fried rice with shrimp and it was pretty good.
The food is good, but limited selection. The service was good.
LOOOOOOOVE THIS PLACE. They excel at Thai AND Chinese food. Couldn’t find a better Asian blend place out here.
Awesome 😁
Great service and foods served hot.
The best food..made with old school family love!
The food takes a little bit of time but that is because it is really good. Got the medium spice and think that is just about right. Think they do mean Thai spicy here, so be warned if you go that route.
Ordered panang curry with tofu. Only three slivers of bell pepper in my dish. Based on the pictures others have shared, I expected a more complete dish with other veggies.
Good food. Reasonable prices. Great service
After eating at this place for over five years and have no complaints, they now state that they cannot remove items from the food such as mushrooms ( I asked because I’m allergic ) and you have to take it how it come and pick them out. This is very disappointing that their not educated enough to know some people just can’t “pick out” stuff because cross contamination may be fatal
Food is Amazing!!! Yellow curry is the absolute best!
Always a pleasant atmosphere and great food for a great price.
The woman taking orders Not friendly or appreciative for visiting. She's rude. No hurry to go. Food was good
We walked inside to eat in at 6:45. As we were realizing that they closed at 7 and picking up our things to leave, a dirty-blonde worker comes out and rudely says “We close at 7” and nothing else. 1) Closing at 7 means closing the doors at 7, so close at 6:45 if you don’t want people after that 2) we were already planning on leaving as a courtesy so your rude comment only made sure we won’t come back. A mile away is Prik Thai and they are much more friendly with great food.
So good! And wonderful service, thank you
This place is a hidden gem. Excellent place for lunch.
I love this place. I've been going since they opened. The owner is nice and knows my regular order. I've tried a lot of Thai food places but the taste of this place is by far the best. I do wish, however you can get more dipping sauce with your spring rolls without being charged. I think that's absurd. Other than that, this is my go too. I wish they were open later sometimes. 🙂
Super delicious food and fast service. Make no mistake, this is quite authentic, the mild was still fairly spicy.
They have the best spring rolls in town!!
Thai hot is hot! Great staff. Big portions. Fresh and delicious. Did I mention that Thai hot is hot.
Good food and they will adjust the spiciness to suit your taste. The food is fresh and tasty.
Food is always awesome! Friendly staff!
Cute small place with big flavors! Very affordable and friendly people. Authentic food and not just pad thai and curry which I always look for
Second time being here. Seems like under staffed again. Takes looong time to get my food. Good food though.
Loved it..
Friendly and awesome service
First time.. great food
The best Thai in Fayetteville. Good service and nice folks!
The food is outstanding!!!! Also, the service was terrific!!! Very quaint!!!! Loved it!!!
Inexpensive but good quality Thai food. Very friendly service
Great food, very friendly!! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.
Pretty good
thai food and service at this location is great. The service was very welcoming and observant. It has a great atmosphere. Ambience reminds me of Colorado Springs area.
Love this place!
The best Thai food around!
