Tried to place a takeout order on 2/23 at 8:50pm and was told they stopped taking takeout orders for the night. Per google, they don’t close until 9:30. 40 minutes seems like plenty of time for 2 sushi rolls but I guess not. Very disappointed.

Enjoyable first time experience ✨

Diner Review №3

This place has gone downhill and badly. Ordered $110 worth of sushi for takeout and they jammed four distinctly flavored rolls into one box so everything was smushed together and the toppings stuck to the lid. Basically ruined the rolls. I called in to complain and the manager didn’t see anything wrong with that, didn’t offer anything to make up for the terrible experience. Said she would tell the owner. It’s been days with no response so guess they’re okay with losing a longtime customer.

UPDATE: Still no response from anybody. Place is still terrible.

Diner Review №8

This place has really gone down hill since 2013 when I first came. It used to be a place for decently good Chinese food and sushi. Now it’s just caters to an unrefined South Eastern American palate.

Diner Review №9

Akahana used to be our favorite sushi spot. BOGO sushi rolls are a huge selling point and we love the Signature Pho. The last time we ordered the pho was great but sushi seemed less than fresh.
Tonight we ordered our normal 2 rolls and a signature pho that is supposed to come with filet. Whatever they gave us was so tough I had trouble cutting it with a steak knife. The broth had no flavor and the sushi again was sub par. I asked for no roe and it seemed to be an excessive amount added to the roll.

What happened? I used to love this place. This was not worth the price even with BOGO sushi.
I wish I could give a better rating but this place has gone down hill fast. In other news looking for suggestions on the best pho in charlotte.

The food was decent. No major complaints.

Diner Review №17

Not sure if they’re not paying their employees or what the deal is, but I was just required a 10 percent tip for carry out. I’ve been coming here for years and have never heard of this before. In a city filled with many sushi restaurants, I have zero reason to choose this restaurant again.

The service can get a bit slow due to traffic picking up around 7pm, the portions are a bit small for the pricing in my opinion, I have been to this restaurant at another location before and their BOGO Free just kind of seems like a scam... For 8 pieces the sushi is over $12 and at that point it is like one roll just pays for both rolls on its own without the sale, so it is just hidden behind a sale.... Some sushi is $20 and it is still not a lot of pieces or has a crazy amount of ingredients.

I make sushi myself, so this is quite disappointing how they charge so much per roll and try to slap a sale sticker on top. Not to mention how all of the pages on the menus say "NO EXCHANGE, RETURNS, OR REFUNDS" some even saying "NO SUBSCRIPTIONS". As a person that only eats chicken and fish ... It is not an accommodating place and I think that they are aware of how the policies and pricing is scam-like.

I had the Pad Thai to avoid the sushi, but.... It was less than standard in taste and quality.... My parner had the red curry udon. Everything tasted....fine, but the bamboo shoot, would taste much better in actual soups than the curry udon. Maybe it was the other ingredients... But the food just was lacking and tastes plain and bland, nothing to say "Oh, this is good!" Hopefully they eventually add more to their menu to make it something worth talking about.

Diner Review №30

I don't what they do to the calamari here, but id sell my soul for the recipe. Service was amazing and food was delicious. A bit pricey but we had an amazing time ☺️

Best sushi in Charlotte!

Diner Review №32

Bogo sushi rolls for the win - excellent service, reasonably priced

Diner Review №33

The mixed vegetables w/brown sauce and fried rice is unreal

Diner Review №34

I come by every week, and the front desk is always really nice to me and the food here is really good after a long day of work. The golden gate roll and the wonton crab thingy is the best things on the menu in my opinion. I will obviously be back :)

Diner Review №35

Food is great, bogo sushi. John is great! He had to do everything by himself today, waiter, to go orders, phone etc and he did it all w a smile still & friendly tone when I called in to go order. Thanks John for your awesome service

Diner Review №36

Probably the best customer service i’ve had in awhile if not ever. Johnathan was attentive, friendly, and very genuine. He let it be known to ask any questions I might have and gave me sushi recommendations. The BOGO sushi was a total surprise and a good one at that. Miso soup was tasty and hot. Dumplings were amazing as well as the sauce it’s paired with. Definitely going back!

Diner Review №38

Totally avoidable. Bad food and awful service.

Our appetizer came.. we had to remind the server to give cutleries.

Sushi was served.. we had to remind the server to bring us soy plates. We were given disposable plastic sauce cups ‘cos all their soy plates were in dish washer.

We complained to the manager.. she showed zero regret.

Sashimi was served at a temperature as if it was stored at room temperature for couple of hours.

Diner Review №40

I've been coming here for 2 years and the quality is always good. But today my rolls were exceptional, keep up the good work.

Diner Review №41

This is probably the most mid-bottom tier sushi I’ve ever had. It tasted like the ingredients were left out all day so it falls flat in terms of freshness. Using buy one get one free was nice for the rolls but maybe it’s because the quality isn’t great. The calamari was not calamariing because they were light skinned and not very crunchy due to sauce they mix it with making some of it soggy.
This place may be okay for a late night bite if nothing else was open but it just wasn’t giving for me compared to most sushi restaurants in CLT.

Seems this place is falling off in recent years. I've gone for the better part of a decade and the last couple of times it's just blah. The food was fine, nothing to right home about. Japanese food is so beautiful, I wish they put more effort into presentation. The place was dead in a very busy part of town at 8 pm and the atmosphere wasn't fun at all. I will go back in hopes that I may be wrong but it seems this place has lost some appeal.

Diner Review №48

Craved Singapore Noodles, saw Akahana had them, and ordered take out. Service/hostess was quick and friendly. But the dish ($20 after tax and tip) had been made with leftover or repurposed shrimp. The curry noodles and veggies were fine but the shrimp had been fried tempura-style and were coated with a cloying, bright red sauce. The shrimp seemed to match the description of an appetizer on the menu. Also, there were random flat squares of beef or pork, not something disclosed in the menu or in the usual preparation of this dish.

I don’t see myself ordering this again. People seem to like the sushi, so if I go again I will try that.

Diner Review №49

One of my favorite Asian restaurants in the city! The BOGO sushi is never the wrong option, but their wings aren’t getting the attention they deserve. They’re served as an appetizer, so I didn’t expect much in terms of size or quantity, but I was pleasantly mistaken. The wings are big, crispy, and juicy with enough to split between two or to have as an entree, and the sauce is delicious! This is just my portion from the appetizer.

Diner Review №50

Had two sushi rolls (BOGO here, as you often see at sushi spots near universities) and a draft sapporo. Sushi was pretty good, waitress was attentive and kind. Restaurant decor is somewhat plain, looks more like a mexican restaurant. No complaints besides suggested tip on the bill starts at 20% - not required of course

Diner Review №59

A group of friends and I were grabbing dinner before going to a show. We get seated and there’s tension and confusion on who was waiting on us which left our whole table puzzled. We ask a question and the server goes to answer it and comes back we order.
I order 2 pieces of Salmon Nigiri and a chicken fried rice. The waitress asked if I wanted a full size or a side. I said side of chicken fried rice will be good.

Our food comes out. I have 1 piece of nigiri. And I got a side order of just rice no chicken. The waitress then comes and tries to quietly talk to me but my whole table could hear her. She said “ I took it upon myself to only do a small side of rice because you don’t need that much food. Along with a bunch of other back handed comments basically fat shaming. I can’t remember as I was trying to wrap my head around the fact that this lady was telling me I was fat and she didn’t want to give me what I had ordered. She was saying something about changing it and mumbling other things I just picked up my phone so she would stop talking to me…
After a few minutes of me sitting there trying to process what just happened I grabbed another waitress and explained what happened and asked if she minded getting me the chicken I had asked for. The manager came over to figure out what was going on. At first he seemed to not believe what was being said but did apologize for what was said. The manager did offer to get me another sushi and chicken I accepted as I just wanted some protein. He comes back after talking to the waitress and she had tried to play it off that there was some miscommunication. I said no there was no miscommunication I ordered a side of chicken fried rice and 2 pieces of Salmon Nigiri and she said took it upon herself to change my order. Everyone at the table agree and said that’s what she ordered. At that moment he finally believed us and gave us reassurance that that is not acceptable behavior and they will no longer be working with them but I’m not sure that’ll happen. I hope so. I will say he did bring me a bowl of chicken but that chicken was partially raw and slimy. ( I think trying to rush it as my whole table was finished and ready to leave. ) I’ve never had that awful of a meal ever in my life.

Big shout out to the front desk staff tonight. I’m always treated well here which is why I always grab a bite at Akahana when I’m in the area. I always look forward to my meals here

Diner Review №62

The Sushi is always fresh and they have an awesome BOGO standing menu. Service is really good and the atmosphere is comfortable. I am so glad this place is close to my house.

Diner Review №63

Great food!

Diner Review №64

I love the seafood pho, the seaweed salad, the BOGO sushi rolls (my favorite is the Sunset roll), the fried calamari, tempura shrimp and vegetables, and mixed vegetables stir fry in white sauce with fried rice are my go to dishes, but I haven't had a dish here I didn't like. Good atmosphere and service as well.

Diner Review №65

I’ve eaten at this location 3 times now. The chicken fried rice is very good (I’ve had it twice) but I feel like for what it is it’s very pricey. My latest experience I got two spicy tuna rolls and a house salad. The house salad was almost 7 dollars and looked like a side salad - a small one at that. The spicy tuna rolls were warm when I picked them up. I put these in the fridge and even when properly cool they weren’t superior to some much less expensive sushi I’ve gotten. The buy one get one is really not even worth it considering the slices are quite small. I’m pretty disappointed with the quality of the sushi and serving sizes. I would consider carefully what you order and skip the salads/spicy tuna. Just overall very bland and small amount for what you pay.

Diner Review №67

this is my go-to Sushi take out spot because you just can't beat the BOGO deal! I love their spiral ecstasy roll, cherry blossom roll, orange blossom roll, and deep sea roll. They are always are on my order right away and I'm thankful for the quick service!

Diner Review №68

Great little place. Tucked in the corner of the strip mall. Food was great. Beef tataki was excellent & the pho with chicken was great. Very large portion on the pho. Service was outstanding.

Diner Review №69

Akahana is consistently excellent! The food is top notch and very reasonably priced, and we had excellent service. Love this place!

Diner Review №70

Very mediocre and pricey for just ok food. Probably won't come back. I'd rather spend a little more money somewhere else and get a higher quality meal.

Diner Review №71

We have been going to Akahana for many years and it has been our Asian food go-to. However, since the new owner has taken over, we have been more disappointed with each visit and have finally given up trying. The food is not prepared as well, recipes have changed for the worse, amenities inside have undergone changes toward obvious cost-cutting (no more nice napkins and a ramekin for sauces/soy is now a small disposable ketchup cup), drinks made at the bar are not prepared well, the overall experience doesn’t feel special anymore, it’s just not the same restaurant with the high standards the former ownership had. Still on the hunt for our new neighborhood Asian place and saddened at the loss of this place that holds so many memories of family and friends gathering for a great Asian dinner. 😕

Diner Review №72

We love coming to Akahana! They have BOGO sushi everyday. Great service, fair prices and excellent atmosphere.

Diner Review №73

Tried dining this place, liked the calamari fry, ordered Singapore noodles, shrimp tempura, I felt their taste was okay, we ordered sake and it was too good, service was excellent and the place was ok for normal dining and catch up place with friends, should try going back again for trying their spl dishes.

Diner Review №74

Best sushi place in town. I always have great service when I come here but John’s customer service and attentiveness is beyond exceptional. Thank you 😊

Diner Review №75

BOGO Sushi, try the Spiral Ecstasy

Diner Review №77

We do takeout often as this is our closest neighborhood sushi. Definitely recommend sushi over the other items (udon and vermicelli just so-so)
The low review is due to very rude staff on our most recent visits… tonight when we got home with our takeout, discovered they forgot part of our order. instead of apologizing on phone, they told us we could drive back over and get it “for free.” When I pointed out we’d already paid, he responded by saying they were busy and refused to apologize. Not the kind of service expected and we are disappointed!

Have been to Akahana Asian Bistro in Charlotte, North Carolina a few times but finally writing my review. Really enjoy this place. The ambience is nothing to call home about but the sushi is solid and there is always great service. We ended up going on Valentine’s Day. We got there early and sat but by 8PM, the place was jammed. They have very reasonable wines and beers by the glass or bottle. I got a $30 bottle of Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc. It was great. Our server Miracle was very accommodating, friendly and swift. She answered all of our questions too! We ordered a bunch of stuff. I love that this place is buy one get one free. We started with the house salad with the ginger dressing because we were hungry but then got a ton of rolls and I also got a piece of tamago and shrimp sushi. We also got a side of spicy mayo, because why not. The rolls were very fresh and tasty. They really do a great job with them. We had so many including
Crunchy roll
Dragon roll
Buffalo
Deep sea
Eliz
Lotus
Thangy river
Earthquake
They have so many rolls to choose from, it’s hard to pick. They also have tons of sashimi and nigiri and other Asian dishes as well. Will definitely go back again soon!

Diner Review №85

I've been coming here for over 7 years. The menu has changed slightly but the taste has changed drastically. I order the same thing; Deluxe Fried Rice and Seafood Pad Thai. It has become very flavorless. The Vietnamese sausage that's in the rice used to be very recognizable and now they are tasteless and almost a weird textured. The Seafood Pad Thai was completely flavorless. The service is still great.

Diner Review №86

For the price I was expecting really good sushi. When a California roll is more than $7 (13.95!) it should be excellent sushi. I realize they have a buy one get one special right now but what happens when that stops? The sushi was mediocre, the fish was fresh but not much flavor, the wasabi was grainy, had very little flavor, and was not very spicy. I will not be back.

Diner Review №87

Food was good. Service was great. The place could use some sprucing up. I would visit again.

Diner Review №88

Let me start this review by saying I’ve been coming to this restaurant for 10 years. I have been on a first name basis with many of the servers and the manager, Ian, for a number of years. Today was my 33rd birthday, and a few days ago I made a reservation for 14. When I arrived today, there was no record of my reservation, and the female manager came the front and had the worst attitude. As a party of 14, they would have made huge money off of us, and instead they made no money off of us and made no attempt to fix the mistake that was 100% their fault.

Not only have they ruined my opinion of them after YEARS of service and years of loyalty, but they lost a ton of money on our party.

I will never come here again, and I have never felt so disrespected as a customer in my life.

Do not come here. Ever. Period.

Diner Review №89

This place is weird, as it can't decide what it wants to be. I had Thai green curry tonight. It was edible but on the edge of BAD. They had no thai hot sauce or even fish sauce. The chicken had the texture of being boiled, which was weird. I've been there a few times, MID at best. I must say, never again.

I called a pickup order in and when I got to the restaurant the host said that our call disconnected and they never put it in. I gave her my TELEPHONE number FIRST and my complete order and then the phone hung up. If the host thought the call was disconnected why wouldn’t she use the TELEPHONE NUMBER I gave her at the beginning of the call and call me back. Now I’m having to wait an additional 25 mins for food that I called in. Highly disappointed.

Diner Review №98

We ordered takoyaki and cheesy crab sticks for appetizers which were fine but tasted inauthentic. For entrees, spicy basil and green curry with rice. Spicy basil was sweet with spice coming from some roasted jalapeños not well incorporated at all. Sushi rolls were just bland and really without flavor. Sakes here tend to be sweeter than what I’m used to so be aware.

Wow this was a train wreck- ordered inside and “ate” in the car because it smelled HORRENDOUS inside the building. Got an order of veggie egg rolls (2 rolls in one order ) veggie roll ( sushi but no fish- it contained rice mayo zucchini and sweet potatoe contains 10 pieces) $18 for that- the zucchini tasted like nothing but grease and the sweet potatoe as well- It was disgusting. And the egg rolls were cold inside. And I could literally squeeze liquid Out of them ( couldn’t tell if grease or. Just like frozen veggie defrosted into wet veggie liquid 🤷‍♀️). Yet the wrapper was so oily and burnt.

This was the WORST way to spend $32

Nothing edible and WAYYYYYYYYY over priced

Diner Review №108

I moved to Raleigh 2 years ago, but this used to be my go to for sushi when I lived here. When you entered, there was an off taking smell. The menus were sticky and smelled nasty as well. The sushi is much smaller now and increased in price, certain rolls I remembered being great, now lack flavor and ingredients. Sadly disappointed, but our waiter was great!

Diner Review №109

The young man and woman working at the front/answering the phones are awesome. Didn’t catch her name, I think his name is Jo Jo? They are on it.

Diner Review №110

It was really bad experience. We ordered buy two and get one free roll. Total of 4 rolls. It was small roll and No taste except a rice. Poor decoration but expensive.
Never again!!

Diner Review №111

Place is dingy from top to bottom and when you look closely everything ranges from shopworn to dirty

Tiny sushi rolls and skimpy amounts of fish and specialty roll flavors simply do not work. We got 5 rolls, the cost was $75 with tax and left hungry.

Only the salmon skin roll tasted right and it was minuscule for $15.95.

Food was bizarrely overpriced with their buy one get one free sushi menu. $17.95 for a spider roll and you can then get any lesser priced roll for free. The problem is the clean sushi place by my house a mile away only charges $9.95 for a spider roll that is far superior, far better tasting and has a soft shelled crab 2 and 1/2 times bigger.

So bottom line not worth the money and it can't be clean in the kitchen when the customer dining room looks like...yuk.

I love Akahana! Can't believe I hadn't tried it until a few months ago. We've only ever done takeout, so I can't comment on the service in the restaurant, but they're consistently good and I love the sushi. They also have a nice variety of vegetarian options, including sushi with tofu, which I've actually never had before until now.

They have a huge menu, so it can be difficult to choose, but it's a great place for a family to share several dishes!

Diner Review №122

Honestly use to be one of my favorite lil spots but last night kinda did it for me I don’t know that it’ll be my first choice in the future. Came in at 8:30 on a Wednesday night only for the waitress to seem rushed and ready to leave. As someone who works in the industry I get it but I also know when I’m being rushed plus they didn’t close till 10. Then I sat waiting on my friend till 8:45 and she came over at 8:50 and told me they were closing the sushi bar down. I drove 25 minutes to have a sunset roll and a snapdragon so I was pretty bummed and felt obligated to have a “hot dish” which I got the pho but I wish I had just said never mind and settled up and went somewhere else. I ordered rangoons and they were cold the cheese inside was not melty the whole experience was not worth the $50 I paid for food. I’m the type of person something sticks with so I think moving forward I’ll just go to another sushi joint. I just really love their rolls and that whole experience bothered me especially watching the person next to use recieve their rolls after “the sushi bar” was shutting down. The bar was still full and there was 3/4 tables left last night. It wasn’t a slow night tbe restaurant was full when I went in. Oh well.

Casual eatery that has a dark ceiling and dark floor with colorful walls, slight cave feel.
The server was kind and well intentioned but very green and had to check on every question. The sushi platter was very fresh. The Bangkok salmon was very tasty but overcooked, specially when the menu says sashimi grade. The fried rice was very tasty. I will go back.

I have lived in Plaza for over 4 years and this is my go to place for sushi, fried rice and sashimi. Togo or dine in, it’s great. The sashimi/sushi always tastes so fresh. The service is great and we know we will have a good meal.

This location is nothing like the Belmont location. We go to the Belmont location a lot, but my son wanted to try the Plaza location tonight for his birthday. Night and day difference in every aspect of dining experience. We all ordered essentially the same items here and they were a total letdown. Salads were soggy and drowning in ginger dressing, wontons were soggy, noodles were overcooked, and the wings were so soggy. Our server wasn't enthused to be there and we were constantly trying to get his attention, even though he was sitting two booths behind us doing nothing. Soy sauce bottles and salt and pepper shakers were sticky and unclean. We barely ate any of our food and the server never asked why nor asked if we wanted boxes. Such a shame, as this was my son's birthday and we usually love Akahana. Ended up getting some Dave's Hot Chicken next door to take home because I was starving

Guess we've learned our lesson - only go to the Belmont location!

In town and 1st time eating here and Wished I hadn't spent $45 for this food and went to Optimus Hall instead. Hostess not helping and didn't help us order what we were looking for pork buns. Food didn't seem fresh, Crab wontons Greasy some had no crab or cream cheese in them, shrimp and chicken tasted like it was from yesterday and spicy garlic chicken was barely ok. Regret using some of my calories for the day on this food. Won't be returning

Great sushi in Plaza! BOGO deal is unparalleled.

Diner Review №165

One of my favorites! They have their BOGO speciality sushi rolls and they are amazing! Worth it. Dragon roll is my favorite, but I've tried a few and they were all great. They have rice dishes too that are delicious. I always take friends there to share this experience.

I recently tried the sa cha chicken and it was amazing. The sa cha sauce had just the right amount of flavor, and I also loved how it came with fresh vegetables. I highly recommend the sa cha chicken!!😍😍

First time I tried this, the food was really good and service was great, will do again

Diner Review №171

Bad to go experience.

1 they automatically added an $8 tip on a TO GO pickup order without telling us.
2 they bagged hot and cold together - like hot Miso Soup sitting on top of cold raw sushi.

If you gonna add an $8 tip please at least bag hot and cold separate. Also I let them know and they were like “meh”.

I feel like Akahana is close and convenient but there are WAY better options especially with to go service.

Our server was new I believe, she seemed overwhelmed. We got our main course before the appetizer. The food was as always excellent. I went to use the restroom after dinner and it smelled like sewer down the hallway to the restroom.

Incredible. Stopped there before a show at snug harbor and we loved it. Easily best calamari I've ever had it melted in your mouth.

Decided to give Akahana in Charlotte a try before a show at Ovens Auditorium at the recommendation of our friends. Honestly wish we hadn't.

The atmosphere still has a very pandemic feel - a weird hostess stand setup with tables and high-chairs creating a bit of an alley which makes it awkward to follow the host to your seat.

Nothing in the restaurant felt "clean." Plates, silverware, glassware all had really bad water stains. The silverware was inconsistent (we had different size forks, I had plastic chopsticks while my wife had wooden ones) which isn't critical but just a peeve of mine. The bathrooms were certainly not clean and the toilet seat was broken. The restaurant just seems like it is not well maintained.

As far as food goes, the tuna tataki we had to start was good, however the sauce definitely has a strong wasabi flavor. The house salads were good, and we enjoy a lot of ginger dressing, but these had so much dressing the bottom of the salads were basically a soggy soupy mess.

My wife had the mixed vegetable stir fry with chicken. The sauce was sweet and had a great flavor overall.

I ordered sushi. The salmon and salmon belly were fresh and tasted good. The eel was served cold both on the roll I had and also as nigiri. Typically prefer this to be served warm. Ordered the $30 Poseidon roll which tasted good, but likely carries that price tag because of the BOGO deals they run on rolls. (My other $18 roll was free, so $30 for two rolls).

Our server was very nice, but there were long periods without us seeing him where drinks needed to be refilled or plates could have been cleared. A manager/owner seemed to make the rounds a couple times and was very friendly as he stopped by each of the tables.

Overall, our experience was just "meh" - but at least outranked our one other experience at Akahana (Fort Mill) where we once sat completely ignored for 30 minutes and ended up walking out.

For $150 tab for two after tip, I would have preferred going to one of several other sushi spots which are cleaner & tastier. I won't be back, not for spite, but because there are simply better places to go.

Ian the manager is one of the most personable people I’ve ever met. He talked to us for about twenty minutes and he was amazing. The Bogo sushi option is amazing especially if you can’t make up your mind between rolls! They also have drink specials!

My husband & I love this place! The sushi is awesome & the BOGO is an added perk. The manager makes a point to speak with customers and the servers are attentive & kind. Hope the ever growing neighborhood & price hike in rent doesn't force them out of PM. Highly recommend ☺️

Great food and wonderful, friendly service! Can’t wait to come back!

Diner Review №192

I’ve been ordering here for awhile now via to-go but it’s been awhile since I’ve dined in. I usually ordered the pineapple fried rice. I sat at the bar and ordered the vegetable roll and wasabi roll. The wasabi roll was my favorite and surprisingly not too spicy with the other roll being pretty basic. I used get a roll with mango on it but I didn’t see it on the menu. However, the music on Friday night was a 10/10. Good Vibes. Friendly Service.

I'm writing this with mixed emotions. Overall, their food is good and reasonably priced so I highly recommend going to Akahana Asian Bistro.

But, as of late, each time I order the chicken lettuce wraps they have been dry. I wind up having to "doctor them up". Luckily, I have ponzu sauce in my fridge at all times and I think that's what they're missing.

The staff is great and service is on par with what you would expect.

They need to do something about their dry chicken lettuce wraps. When I called to find out what the issue was, they told me they use hoisin sauce, which explains a lot and is ok as a base, but without something else to go with it, I believe is the reason which makes it so bland and dry.

Diner Review №194

Sushi here is always amazing. We mostly get takeout from here, dine in seems to always be pretty busy. Best sushi in Noda

Diner Review №195

Food was great service was wonderful.

I have to change my 5 star review to a 1 star. We had the most minor issue with our meal tonight, that our tempura appetizer didn't have the shrimp with it and the manager on duty made things so complicated and was incredibly rude to us about it. I was baffled by how rude she was to us and we ended up leaving. Unfortunately, after eating there since the 2nd month they opened, it will be hard to go back.

Food and service has gone downhill. I ordered the pineapple rice, like I do all the time when I ate there Togo and dine in. Normally they don’t put the pineapple in the box for Togo because of course that is to much but they did this time and I had a big pineapple in a small box and a very small portion of food with maybe 2 to 4 shrimp and one or two pineapples, which is abnormal. I suggest dinning in.

The avocado in both of my rolls were black/rotten.
