Wow. This was incredible. I came here because I was looking for a poke bowl. This poke bowl was better than any poke bowl I have ever had. I got the Ebi and Krab poke bowl and they make the decisions for what was included in the bowl and I am so glad they did because I would have never made a poke bowl like this for myself and it was absolutely amazing. They knew better than me about how to craft an absolutely delicious poke bowl. I ate things that I don't normally eat because it was just so perfectly crafted. The range of textures and flavors worked together so perfectly. I was surprised after every bite that I liked the food even more than the bite before. I cannot express fully in words just how incredible the food was. I have not had such an overwhelmingly positive food experience like this in a long time. Not to mention the food came out fast and the service was spot on. The workers bussed our table extremely quickly and filled our water glasses numerous times in the short period of time we were here. The music isn't too loud. The patrons are respectful with their volume. The area is right next to Sunset Place and overlooks Sunset Drive and the Sunset Library - quiet and peaceful. The decor in the restaurant is tasteful. It feels clean and modern. I am so impressed with this spur of the moment poke bowl trip. I will be back. No doubt about it.

New Thai/ Sushi restaurant in South Miami. Plenty of parking. I went there for the first time. The owner and everyone there are very friendly. The restaurant is nice and clean. We ordered lots of Sushi and Thai dishes. If you are a Sushi lover, it's here. Fresh Sashimi, omg 😱 love it ❤ so much. And, The Thai Kuay Jub noodle Soup and the Thai Hat Yai chicken are so good. I mean everything is delicious. You have to come to try this new place, really!!!

I have eaten thai food around the world and this restaurant is one of the best I've had. I teach in and travel to Thailand every year but I live in miami. I will have to recommend this spot to everyone. Great food, great service, the owners and staff were very polite. The menu has authentic thai recipes and modern dishes with miami flair. I will definitely be back, often.

Everything was so delicious! I had the salmon and herbs, fried gyoza, salmon poke, lychee sake, and Thai donuts. The ginger dressing on the salad was one of the best and freshest I’ve ever had. I will def be back to try the other items on the menu. 10/10.

I found a South Miami gem and I want to share it with everyone! Well to be honest with you I must give the credit to our daughter. She brought us here about ten days ago and introduced us to owners, the staff, and the fantastic menu items. Since then, I’ve been waiting to go back…. So, last night I told my wife “Don’t worry I am going to cook tonight!”.

This time we recruited our son, who emphatically gave his stamp of approval. So, these are the reasons we came back, and will continue to come back with new recruits.

The service. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with a smile and warm welcome from everyone working at the restaurant. Oui and Wendy are very friendly, and they took great care of us.

The menu. They have a vibrant selection of dishes that range from appetizers to entrees and desserts. We were four for dinner and started ordering appetizers to share. We had Bao buns, Tuna tower, Boneless Korean chicken, Papaya salad, Gyaza, Khao Moo Krob, Poke bowls, Chicken red curry, a couple of rolls, and Thai doughnuts (Did I mention we were very hungry?). Each one of these dishes had a wonderful presentation that not only stimulated our palate but also our eyes. We shared everything amongst ourselves.

The price of the dishes is just right, and the restaurant atmosphere is perfect for date nights, family dinners or just to meet with friends. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and they are located in the heart of South Miami.

I look forward to returning to Pla-Tu and trying the other items on the menu… Perhaps, the next time I offer to cook dinner!

Great place to eat with friends. The tapars were amazing. Their firecracker shrimp was the best I’ve ever had! The bao buns were also really good! The service was excellent and it’s a great little spot. Will definitely come try more items!

Cute little spot near Sunset Mall. Delicious food and the service is quick and friendly. Huge plus, they are attached to a parking garage so you can enter through the back of the restaurant and avoid the rain.

This is a tiny place along sunset drive. I met some friends there for lunch and had the tomkha soup with shrimp which was really good. We also had some sushi, it was fresh and tasty. I had the eel bowl and it was very tasty. The service was a bit slow and there were not many people there. But we weren’t in a hurry so it didn’t matter. We also asked them to split the bill with 3 credit cards and they came back with two credit cards and split it into two… which was surprising. But they fixed it. Overall good experience and will try it again.

Sit inside, outside is a little loud with the traffic, otherwise a nice place in South Miami near the hospital.

Both my bf and I are born and raised in Asia. This restaurant is my favorite Thai restaurant in Miami. Legit flavor and nice waiter.

Food was OK but what made me mad was the trimming of the Thai fried chicken wings before frying. Owners and chef must be trying to reduce cost and increase profit; but the effect is giving customers less than the full chicken wings. Every piece had missing portions carved off so not a one-off defective piece. So not cool to do that...makes me think someone took a bite before frying. Look at my photos.

Tucked away in South Miami, this small restaurant puts out huge flavor. My girls and I ordered all appetizers, and not one was a disappointment. I think I would have liked a more upbeat atmosphere. The service was to notch. I will be back.

What a great Thai and sushi restaurant! The food had the right flavors and spice level, and the sushi was delicious. Don't miss the papaya salad or the miso soup. We will be back to try more dishes for sure. Don't miss the Thai doughnuts, they are super tasty!

For the past two years and more than 15x, whenever in Miami, we frequent Pla-tu. Two visits ago, we were there three of four days. It is THAT good.

The sushi (Golder Guard & Bad Boy), appetizers (Gyoza, Veg Rolls, Edamame), bowl, noodle dishes (Pad Thai), and the Thai Donuts are standard order.

The staff is attentive and Ouí always greets us and many others with love and affection. Sometime you want to go...and they are always glad you came!

The prices have risen recently but the quality has not taken a dip.

The Massaman curry was outstanding. One of my favorite curry dishes ive had in a while.

The Hamachi Jalapeño was also a standout appetizer.

We also ordered the sashimi platter and chicken khao soi but the Massaman overshadowed everything else.

Excellent sushi roll, went for a work meeting and cannot wait to go back with my fiance! The wahoo role has this beautiful citrus tang to it and just felt so light.

This just became our favorite Thai/ sushi spot in south Miami.

Near south miami hospital

I ate the Pad Kee Mao which tasted heavily of cloves - just not a balanced dish. Service was great, zero complaints there. I was annoyed by the very early Christmas music - I'm under the opinion that if a restaurant isn't decorated for Christmas they shouldn't be playing the music, especially prior to Thanksgiving.

Amazing food. I drive in front of that place everyday but because of the location and outside appearance I never gave it a try and I ended there by hunger. Sushi was so fresh, the nigiri’s the palters like the curry and the pork belly. Even the Thai donuts were good. I will be back

My friend and I checked this place out and they had pretty good sushi rolls.

The roll with the mango had a unique taste. Our favorite hands down is the Salmon Truffle roll. Definitely the tastiest. We had one, the spicy sushi with the jalapeños. Not too bad

Tonight my wife and I decided to order take out from Pla-Tu for the first time. We had been unsatisfied with other Thai restaurants in the area and were really hoping for some redemption...

Let's just say the food had us dancing around our kitchen in Thai bliss. It was delivered promptly and while still hot and fresh. Very nice!

As always a friendly & helpful staff. Tasty food, many options. They have a few tables outside with a nicer view. Inside is a little bit noisy due to AC ducts on the ceiling. Other than that would recommend the restaurant

Was not impressed with the cuisine at all. My parents shared the same sentiment. I went with my parents to eat lunch on a Sunday at this establishment. The Tom soup tasted like what the Chinese have been known to boil their eggs in (I will leave it at that). The platters that were recommend to us by our waitress were NOT tasty at all. The only reason why I am giving this establishment 2 stars is because the Kung Pao chicken appetizer was good. Everything else was not. In my opinion, our group was not happy with the food at all that has been so highly taughted in some articles in local publications.

The ambience? Very small space. A very loud and boisterous man came in to dine and wow was he loud. I could barely have a conversation with my parents.

I did see many food runners taking sushi dishes to tables. So maybe the Sushi is much better?

I do have to say that the prices were very reasonable compared to the over inflated prices at other eateries. Also, the texture of the chicken was strange. Be aware that there are restaurants out there that are serving chicken that is not real chicken and beef that is not real beef. They are plant based and I bet won't disclose this to you. And lab grown meat is coming folks! But I digress, I am by NO means implying that this establishment is serving "fake" protein sources. Just a heads up so that you may all know the truth and ask before you put something into your mouth.

Best place for some real good quality sushi. The vibe in this restaurant is superb. I love coming to this restaurant on either a date night, celebrating something, something low key, or in a big group. The staff is always accommodating and amazing.

Google has incorrect hours of operation. We showed up at 3:15pm and restaurant was “closed” from 3-4:30pm. The restaurant was still full with people inside and the host didn’t want to sit us. Additionally, we had already paid for parking and driven 30 minutes with a toddler to come here. Please correct your hours on google.

Absolutely fresh and delicious food! The combination of flavors is so good and you can taste the freshness of the food. The service was real good along with a relaxed atmosphere to share the many plates they have. Really recommend the Korean boneless wings which were amazing!

Food and service were okay. Didn’t feel pressured to leave which is a plus. Decorated nicely. Music was good and at a perfect volume. Wings, quesadilla and French onion soup were very good. Other foods were not well liked. Need more servers. No answer on phone and voicemail full at least for the entire week I tried calling.

Every single dish was absolutely perfect. We were a group of 5 and decided to order several dishes and share. Everything was delicious from the steamed buns, crispy rice with tuna, red curry, sushi, all the way through to the Thai donuts. And the staff were so pleasant and so attentive. Im a bit of a thai food snob and try to visit Thai restaurants everywhere I go since it’s my favorite kind of cuisine. My favorites from the Thai menu are the Tom Kha soup, bang bang shrimp, and the chicken Khao Soi. So much flavor! This place has become somewhat of a regular stop for me. Terrible experience from the moment we sat down at our table. After waiting one hour for our dinner it never came, we asked for our check and server had the nerve to charge for what we ordered and never received. Never will go back.

Me and my Gf a black couple as soon as we walked in the lady looked at us with us like we weren't welcomed . She didn't offer us anything we had to walk up to her and asked for the menu . She didn't say a single word and just handed the menu to us . Walked us to the table didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink just walked away so after seating I told my girlfriend let's leave because they obviously don't want us here . As we are walking out she started smiling. Will never return here again

Skip the tuna tower.

Dessert we had Thai Donuts. Same as other places.

Stopped by for a quick lunch after PT because I’ve heard good things about and I now see why. Great service and friendly waitstaff is always a checkmark in my book. Had to try the famous fried pork belly that left me wanting more and the sugar mama roll which had to be be one of the best cooked sushi rolls I’ve had in town although I usually prefer sashimi. Washed it all down with a nice cold Sapporo and left there a happy camper. There are so many things on the menu I’d love to try so I have plenty reasons to come back.

This restaurant is a true gem. Everything is delicious - highly recommend the tuna rice cakes, crispy pork bao, and literally any sushi roll. But not only that, the entire staff are some of the friendliest people you'll have the pleasure of meeting. Literally the best sushi I’ve had in years. I was not expecting this place to be this good but omg. First off, customer service was amazing, the server was really nice and gave us great recommendations. The restaurant was sparkling clean which is always a good first impression. We ordered some garlic edamame which was just average but omg when we got the rolls, we didn’t even need to dip it in any sauce (like eel sauce or spicy Mayo) they had so Much flavor that they melted in your mouth. 10/10

I liked the atmosphere here and the service was good.
The massaman curry I had was great although it was extremely hot so I recommend waiting a bit before eating if you get this.
Prices were also pretty fair for the quality.
If you want some good thai food I recommend.

AMAZING!!! When we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the nice staff. The food came out quickly. The prices are good. The sushi, poke bowl, and Thai Curry were so delicious.

We had 4 people for dinner ordering 4 rolls 6 small plates. Everything was fresh and delicious. Very creative roll selections also and many soups both Japanese and Thai! Can’t wait to go back.

Espectacular flavor in every plate we had. Tuna Tower was delicious. The buns were great. Definitely coming back.
