Where should I begin? My experience at this restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. From booking the reservation for my 25th birthday to arrival, the entire process was seamless and pleasant. My friends and I were offered a private dining room with a TV to play music while we ate and celebrated this new chapter of my life.

Every food item was flavorful, fresh, and made to perfection when it came out. We came in hungry and left completely full before heading to the club. The owner’s son is so polite and professional. While we were wrapping things up and preparing to cash out, the owner paid us a surprise visit and sung happy birthday to me. He even bought me a delicious birthday cake with my name! I was completely blown away.

He told me the that he could sense my positive energy over the phone when I booked my reservation, and he wanted to make my day special; which he did. I felt so loved ❤️

Found this hidden jewel, so close to home and I’m glad I got the chance to visit and share with my sweet and beautiful friends. This is a lovely all things Asian , family restaurant with Saw the amazing owner waiting on you hand and foot. He was so inviting, attentive, warm and friendly while we had our lunch. The food was super delicious and fresh. The complimentary items were a delightful miso soup and bottles of water on the house. No where else could you get that kind of compliments today. The prices are more than reasonable and the amount of food portions is excellent. I had the black dragon rolls as I am a lover of sushi , in addition to that I had a shared seaweed salad with sesame dressing- delicious. I’m going to bring my girlfriends here and highly recommend this local restaurant to everyone. It’s such a shame that so many of our family establishments have disappeared and been replaced by chains- to each his own. Let us support our local community and our eateries. We ordered Beef Kya Zan Kyaw, Ohn No Kauk Swe/Burmese Coconut Noodle Soup, Shrimp Pad Kee Mow, Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice. All the dishes were very big portions and tasty. The Ohn No Kauk Swe is Burmese approved. The owner was very nice and friendly and talked to us about his restaurant and Buffalo. He gave us free Miso soup, hazelnut candies, and water bottles.

We ate here tonight and can’t recommend highly enough. The food was amazing, but it’s really the lovely owner who made this experience for us tonight! He was so friendly and spent time chatting with us at the table about his life in Burma and his delicious food.
We ordered the papaya salad (som tum) and the spicy mango salad and everything was so fresh and delicious! The Panang chicken curry was so thick and full of chicken and fresh vegetable. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our last dish was the chicken Pad Thai and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked.

My server was warm, friendly, and very accommodating. He was able to modify the dishes to my request. The food was also delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also warm and cozy. There are booths and regular tables for different numbers of people in a group. I especially appreciated that the ladies' restroom had a Koala changing table for babies. That would make it convenient for families with babies/toddlers for diaper changing. I'll definitely be back to try many other dishes.

This place is just perfect. Have been here a handful of times, and the owner is always so attentive and kind. Miso soup is on the house when you dine in, and it's the best I've ever had. Some dishes I recommend are the Yaki Udon, any sushi roll, and the crab Rangoon. The yaki udon is made with so many vegetables, and they are all super fresh. The sushi is always made fresh and flavorful as well, with no fishy aroma at all. And the crab Rangoon is perfectly crispy and hot, not too filling. I also recommend their Thai iced tea. It's on the sweeter side and is the prefect addition to any meal. (If you get takeout too, they always give you 2 free cans of soda 😊) Overall, my experiences at Taste of Asia were always a 10/10, and I think it's hands down the best Asian restaurant in Buffalo. And personally the best I've ever had.

"This is the best curry I've had in a long time. They take their time preparing the food, but the flavor is absolutely worth the wait. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a gem in Buffalo, especially after experiencing top-notch Asian cuisine in Southern California. A hidden gem of Elmwood. I ordered the sesame tofu and it was delicious. The tofu was nicely firm and lightly crisp on the outside. The sauce was exactly what I want when I gave something with sesame sauce with a nice sweetness. Tofu texture gets goofed up easy but they nailed it.

The staff was very courteous and the food came out right on time. The restaurant was very clean and relaxed, which was great for our date night.

Wonderful Burmese food in Buffalo! Kind owner originally from Myanmar. We ordered three salads (tea leaf, ginger, Burmese falafel), coconut tofu curry and Burmese fried rice with chicken curry.

Absolutely phenomenal - don’t waste your time with sushi or Chinese. We’ve had Burmese across the country and this is the best.

Had Late flight out of Buffalo, so decided to give this place a try based on reviews. Everything we ordered taste great. Burmese fried rice with curry on the side and different types of sushi. For apps Vegetable spring rolls and steamed gyoza, which they provided on the house, miso soup and bottled waters. Had a few of the Japanese beers which were perfect for my flight back. Server was really nice and attentive. Would recommend eating here from my personal experience. No pics of food since my family ate it before we could snap photos.

This was my first time!!! Omg it was fantastic. The food was delicious, and brought out as it was prepared. Large portions and super fresh. Beautiful presentation. I even ordered food to go. They were about to close, but still honored my request. There were 4 of us. Everyone really enjoyed everything they ordered. They even packed 4 Coca Cola's in my to go bag!!! I will be back!!!!

Tried for the first time looking for a good sushi in Elmwood Village. They exceeded expectations with delicious and generously sized servings of sushi, and 2 free cans of pepsi! Not only that, but when they had accidentally forgotten an order of crab Rangoons, we were given a complimentary chocolate bar as well as an additional extra order of Rangoons to make up for it. 11/10 customer service and food experience, would 100% eat here again and again !

It’s annoying when you look for restaurants and the closest ones that show up are ones that sell fries, burgers and cheese loaded stuff. I’m so glad that I found this gem amidst them.
Usually I’m looking for South Indian restaurants when hunting for food with flavor, but the Asian food here has really impressed me,specifically the food in this restaurant.
The staff is also kind and courteous.

The BEST ASIAN RESTAURANT I EVER ate at in my life and I’ve worked at several Asian restaurants in my lifetime. They are real crab meat rangoons- and I can tell it’s authentic bone broth in the miso soup! Best sushi I ever had by far! I was just on a vacation to see the Falls and I ate here but it was sooooooo good it makes me want to move my family the 540 miles to just be able to eat there all the time! The service was incredible and the atmosphere and music was lovely! I felt like royalty in there! Love this place for life!!

A restaurant that visually looks simple but cozy. The food is very tasty. There were 5 of us, we ordered 5 dishes and everything was delicious. We were treated to bottled water, miso soup and very nice chocolate. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Order was done very quickly even though they warned me about the heavy load. Do you want the amazing Asian cuisine in Buffalo? You must try this almost hidden gem, it may be some of the best bang for your buck in all of New York. No joke. It's one of those places you look at from the outside and wonder if it'll be worth it but the reviews don't lie, the food is incredible and the prices are the best of any Asian restaurant you're going to find, possibly in all of NYS.

We took a chance on this restaurant with my wife and our two younger boys hungry for Asian food. Between the Pineapple Fired Rise, incredible sweet potato roll, California roll, salmon roll, veggie springroll, and miso soup which pretty much felt like it had healing capabilities. After our food was half gone but long before we left we were already singing this place's praises and declaring it our favorite Asian restaurant.

Mind you, my wife and I lived in Manhattan on and off and the type of restaurants like Taste of Asia are, hands down, the best you will find in NYC, or the world. Why? Because they're off the beaten path and not where the tourists go, because of that, the meals are incredible and are insanely affordable with the best portions. Places like this aren't trying to impress or wow you, they're trying to feed you with long-standing family restaurants and sushi chefs that give a darn.

We've lived in Snyder, NY (Buffalo suburb) for nearly seven years and have tried every Asian restaurant in greater Buffalo, from the fancy to strip malls, in every direction around the Nickel City, at a minimum 40-50. Taste of Asia, hands down, is far and away the best of all of them, it's not even close. Don't believe me, go see for yourself, your tastebuds, appetite, and wallet will not be disappointed.

Going in I was a little nervous as I've never been there before. Was soon after taken to my table. Waiter was very kind and patient with me as I was misunderstanding what he was saying.
Ordered red curry with chicken since they were out of goatmeat curry, crab Rangoon, free miso soup and water and a Mango smoothie which isn't shown in the picture.
The texture of the soup was very smooth. Everything cooked to perfection and it is on the sweet side with a little kick.

The crab Rangoon compared to all other crab Rangoon ive had is more rich and meaty than cheesy so I really enjoyed this as well as the semi spicy sauce that came with it.
The smoothie was definitely made fresh fruit however there was no ice ....
Miso soup on the house reminded me of pho to be honest and the tofu was able to absorb the flavor of the broth which was a plus.

Waiter also put my leftovers in a brown bag and staples it as well as a plastic bag to go with it, Napkins, and a bottled water and plastic utensils.

I absolutely adore Taste of Asia, thanks to the thoughtful and consistent hospitality of owner Frank, who always delivers excellent service even for takeout orders. Their tofu is the perfect combination of soft, chewy, and hot—setting a new standard that has truly raised my expectations. I find myself coming back 2-3 times a week, and I couldn’t be happier with every visit!

Taste of Asia provided an outstanding dining experience that went above and beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The owner/chef was incredibly attentive, especially to our kids. He provided them with reusable plastic silverware and even treated them to two bottled juices.

When we received our bill, we noticed it seemed a bit short and realized that the smoothie and Thai tea we had ordered were not included. Upon asking about this, the owner graciously informed us that he had given them to us for free. This level of generosity and attention to detail made our visit unforgettable. The Orange Chicken Thai Fried Rice Black Dragon Roll and Pad See Ew had Great Portions and Great Flavor 10/10

A gem of a restaurant in Buffalo. I ordered red curry with tofu. It was sooo tasty. Curry was perfectly thick that added great flavor with white rice. Other restaurants serve very watery curry that doesn’t give much taste. Serving size was very generous. Server was very kind. He served us with house soup. It was very soothing. Great place to enjoy Asian food. 👌

I have been looking for some authentic tasting Burmese food (especially Burmese salads I cannot easily make at home) and this is the best one I have found in Buffalo. Really impressed. We had the samosa/ be kyaw salad and the mango salad and they were fantastic. He is not afraid to give you the real chilis on the side if you like some spice!

I am so happy to find a good restaurant with Asian food in Buffalo. The host was great. The complementary Miso soup was delicious, and the Yaki Udon I had was very flavorful with just the right amount of spice.

First time here in Buffalo, New York my friends & I stopped in waited for over a Hour for Food to come. I don't suggest you stop here if you are in a rush cause the food was ok but the service was terrible

The food was good but we had to wait over an hour to just get sushi. We had to keep asking our server for a beverage 30-40 minutes after placing our drink order. It didn’t seem busy at all. I’m a tourist in buffalo so maybe this is normal. The server had an attitude every time we asked about the wait time for our food.

I was curious about this place and wanted to try it and was not disappointed! I ordered takeout and it was hot and ready within the hour after my initial online order. The person at the front of house who brought me my bag was very nice! All of my food was delicious, fresh, and very tasty! They also gave me two free cans of pop with my order! Definitely will be ordering from them again. I also will be dining in the restaurant as well because it looked very clean, calm, and welcoming!

The Miso soup is one of the best ones I've had. I was surprised because normally a Miso doesn't stand out, but I enjoyed this one a lot.

The summer roll was fresh and the seafood was good quality. Highly recommend.

The Pad See Ew with Chicken was also very good. I wish I'd gotten a curry, because a place this good must have a rockin curry.

Overall, very impressed and will be coming here whenever I'm in town.

I found this restaurant on the NewsBreak app. It said they were the #1 place to find Chinese food (even though they’re mainly a Thai/Japanese food establishment). This was so so so good, compared to the Asian food available in my neighborhood! The vegetable summer rolls were the freshest and best I’ve ever had. Would definitely come back just for that. I also don’t usually like miso soup but with this one, I finished it all! I also had the pad see ew, edamame, steamed chicken dumplings and vegetable spring rolls. Can’t wait to come back here again. This was a 10/10 for me.

I had the pad thai with tofu and my husband had the general tso chicken. It was delicious and the portion was huge. We talk about that meal a lot because nothing in our area quite compares. Staff was incredibly kind, food was amazing and fresh. Great Friday night meal.

The staff are so so friendly and the food was so good. We had summer rolls, a pad thai and a green curry and they were both amazing. Big portions sizes so took leftovers home. The food was just as good the next day. Now I want to try so much on their menu. They also gave us a free avocado roll and miso soup. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is our go-to place for asian! The servers are so nice and always go out of their way to make our toddler feel special (they gave us some red bananas on the house, which he thought was the coolest thing ever). I love the sesame chicken, but the sushi is terrific too. We haven't had a bad dish yet.

I tried visiting this place when they first opened up last year or so. We arrived at the restaurant only to realize that they were still closed even though Google says it was open. We checked their website and it showed that they were actually open the following hour so we spent some time walking around only to return to a sign that says they will be open in 3 hours. I was so upset and hungry, I didn't give this place another chance until recently and I am glad I did.

The experience was fantastic. The owner who was tending to us was one of the nicest people ever. He's very soft spoken and welcoming. He did not recognize us and correctly assumed it was our first time here. We received free servings of miso soup and bottled water.

We ordered green curry and panang curry. They were made perfectly. The spice level was not too high, just the right amount of heat. I wouldn't recommend it if you're more of a extreme spice chaser. The curries were also balanced out with some level of sweetness. The portion were big enough for us to ask for to-go boxes. The prices were very fair in my opinion.

The atmosphere was very calm and soothing. Dimly lit and soft background music. We were the only customers in there so there were no much noise. Hopefully it was just timing and not a regular occurence. If you're craving thai food and want to try out a new location, I highly recommend you give this spot a chance.

Service was 5/5. There was an absolute doll of a man...personable, funny, welcoming and warm. Offered complimentary miso soup. Atmosphere was also wonderful. Review is based solely on the chicken pad Thai. The bean sprouts, scallions, peanuts, all of that was fresh and good but the noodles/sauce flavor was so bland. Pad Thai should be flavorful and spicy. This was like eating plain noodles, it just had no flavor at all. Extremely disappointing. My friend ordered a strawberry smoothie, it didn't come out until we were almost ready to leave, he said it was good but not very cold.

The Thai food we ordered was delicious. The vegetable spring rolls are the best I’ve had anywhere. The staff was friendly and this place is very reasonably priced. Definitely getting more for your money.

the owner Saw was the nicest guy ever. He greeted us and treated us like family, the minute we walked in the door. Explained all the food questions we had. Let us sample some other. made jokes and made us laugh. If I lived here i would be here all the time for the food and awesome hospitality. He walked us out, holding the door. I plan on returning before we head home.

First time visiting this outstanding restaurant. They deserve their 5 stars. The beef yaki soba, Thai shrimp curry, and chicken dumplings were excellent. We were treated to unexpected bowls of miso, and the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Varied Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Burmese menu, something for everyone. We will return to this local favorite, with friends. Highly recommended.

Huge portions and amazing food!

Ordered takeout for 8 people including appetizers and main dishes. Every dish was delicious, everyone at the table was satisfied and already planning our next meal from Taste of Asia. We devoured Vegetarian Summer Rolls, Vegetable Dumplings, Chicken Curry, Shrimp Pad Thai, General Tso's Tofu and much more. Very grateful for the bananas and soda from the lovely owner. Look forward to many more meals from here.

Amazing amazing amazing! I have been always passing by this restaurant and thinking to try it sometime. I wish I had come earlier! As everyone mentioned, the owner is a very kind and sweet person. The restaurant is clean and has a very calming atmosphere. I had their lunch deal which included miso soup, one california roll, one small maki roll for only $10. I got water too and it came bottled, and they didn’t even include the water in the bill. I tried their tuna California roll along with one small eel roll (maki) and it was very good. I normally don’t like miso soup much but I finished my bowl here almost instantly haha. Probably I will be coming here every week or so! Highly recommend it!

This is a relatively new restaurant on Elmwood that deserves your patronage. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Our friendly server brought complimentary miso soup for our table, which was a nice touch. I had panang curry with tofu and it was warming and very flavorful. The chef visited our table and was also so friendly.

Came here for anniversary supper and we were the only ones in there at the time. We were waited on by the sweetest most polite man. As the other reviews mention, the owner is so kind and gave us complimentary soup and bottled water. But also, best crab rangoons I’ve ever had! Fair amount of crab chunks, and the wraps were light and crispy, not heavy or greasy. The sauce was also good, sweet with a little spice, not a red gelatinous goop like some other places. Me and my partner also shared some nigiri, the Elmwood roll, Black dragon roll, and deep fried salmon roll. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this place has great food, hospitality, prices, and location, and was empty on a Saturday night! Go support this business, they are wonderful!

I've never written a Google review before but felt compelled to after ordering from this restaurant. I will admit, the interior/exterior is not as inviting as other Asian cuisine restaurants on the block, and this makes for a tough competition. However, I was absolutely touched by the kindness and humility of the chef/owner. From what I saw he was the only one working. He had ran out of spicy tuna after I placed my order, so gave me an extra box of dumplings, 3 cans of Pepsi and $10 back in cash (which is $1 more than what the initial roll cost), and absolutely insisted on it. And - the food was very very good! I'll definitely be supporting this business more.

This place was outstanding. It was a Monday and 80% of places in the city are closed on Mondays. Taste of Asia was open so I decided to give it a try. The sushi and appetizer I got were both so fresh and delicious. I arrived early to pick it up but it was already ready for me. Highly recommend this little hidden gem!
