Hidden treasures of Baldwin NY. Food was great and delicious. A real Thai foods.The place it self is so nice, clean and very comfortable. Flora the lady who give us our orders really did a good job. She's very pleasant. This is the 3rd time we came here and will surely come back again. I highly recommend this place for all who's Thai Food Lovers.

Went on a Saturday around 1:30pm. The owners were extremely accommodating because their largest table seats 6, they combined another table to extend it for an extra baby with a high chair (5 adults 1 child, 1 baby). We ordered 2 appetizers and 6 lunch specials, we got the drunken noodles with beef ($1 added surcharge for beef option) and wife got the pad woon sen lunch special with jump shrimp (I think it was already included). Both were excellent! Very flavorful, good portion sizes. Also the calamari and mini spring rolls are both recommended for appetizers! I I didn't use it, but my wife said the bathrooms were very clean as well! Great restaurant, great service, clean restaurant and the kids really liked staring at the fish in the tank by the entrance. Hope they didn't mind the kids running around after the meal and after all the other patrons had left. Wish it was closer to home, would easily be a regular spot for me!

Our recent visit to Basil Leaf Grill at Baldwin, Long Island was splendid. My daughter and I had a great lunch date.

The staff was friendly and attentive and came back several times to ask us if all is well. Being that we were on our lunch hour, the appetizers were promptly served and were delicious. The main dishes were delectable as well. If in the Baldwin Harbor area, Basil Leaf Grill is a wonderful Thai restaurant to visit.

There are several parking spots in the rear of the establishment, but otherwise, it'll be street parking.

Undecided as to what to eat, we ended up chosing this place and it was amazing. Food was delicious, waiter was very patient and friendly. My son and I will definitely return!

Love this place! It’s hard to find good Thai food outside of NYC—but this is a great local place. The prices are good and the portions are large. The pad thai, green curry, garlic shrimp, and mango chicken were all hits with my group;) Will definitely go back.

I highly recommend this Delicious Thai Cuisine! We enjoyed their pineapple shrimp fried rice, shrimp pad Thai, pork chops grilled and pad se ew broad noodles with chicken. The service was good, the waitress is very attentive, clean bathroom and have hand sanitizers on each table. The portions are great and the price is phenomenal! The restaurant’s atmosphere is also very comfy!

What a great place, I recommend the booths at the back of the restaurant for more privacy. The menu is thin but each item is a whole world unto itself, very tasty and substitutions are welcome (beef instead of chicken etc..) The staff are extremely pleasant and always had our water glasses full. Thank you guys for a great evening.

The best Thai food I've had in years. My daughter has never liked Thai food I have gotten from other places but she absolutely loves the food from Basil Leaf Grill!

Have to change my review. The last two times we ordered from here food was not up to what it was.

I have been eating here twice a month for 2 years now, food very good, never asked for a thing always leaving a generous 25% tip...The 1 time I had spoiled food, I told the server, who responded I'll tell the chef, oh well wrong answer, instead of offering something off the bill, or a complinentary dessert... I will never eat there again 😟

Great food and lightning fast service! The Thai tea and pork chops were especially delicious. However, the pad see ew must have been laced with laxatives because it made my friends erupt like Krakatoa. Pro tip: skip that dish unless you want a volcanic aftermath.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Otherwise, all the other food was delicious might come back eventually.

I was so disappointed by the meal and service. I dined in and ordered Tom Kha Gai and drunken noodles. The soup broth tasted unbalanced and was loaded with large slices of mushroom and chewy chicken making it hard to get the spoon in the bowl. When the waiter came with the noodles he didn’t even ask if the soup was since the bowl was 90% full and I had pushed it away from me. The drunken noodles had zero spice to them, the sauce was sweet almost like it was the pad see ew sauce and the majority of the noodles were stuck and rolled up. The waiter never returned to see how the food was. I picked at the noodles that weren't clumped together and ended up walking to the bar to get my check since the waiter wasn't around. A woman (not my waiter) asked if I wanted to take the food to go and when I said no she didn't ask if the food was ok not. Just seems odd that they don't ask why a customer is leaving 90% of a meal on the table. As for the atmosphere, the place is clean but the booth was tight for my legs and I’m only 5’5”.

Always great! I went there with my family on a Sunday afternoon and they were able to accommodate all 13 of us. The food is always on point. Delicious and plentiful. Drinks are great! We had wine and mixed drinks. Highly recommend.

I have eaten from here many times and enjoyed it every time. The pad Thai and drunken noodles are my go tos. Polite staff.

Most of the food is good but some dishes have been bland which is different from other Thai restaurants.
I do have favorite dishes I order that have flavor, so I will just stick to them.

Great service. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. The fried calamari came with a great sauce. The shrimp dumplings were tasty. The royal feast was delicious. The mango sticky rice dessert rounded out the meal. Nice atmosphere. Very clean restaurant. It's what keeps us coming back.

Went to basketball practice for my little one. On the way there i noticed this place. Im big on trying new food places. Told the wife lets go after practice. So we went. Place is nice and clean. Every table has its own hand sanitizer and wipes. Owner greeted us nicely and seated us right away. We order a few apps and main dishes. Food came out hot and fresh with full of flavor. The prices are not bad either considering what is going on in this country with food prices. Overall good experience and will be definately be comming back for sure.

Came here for lunch and mentioned it was lunch break and would like our apps and lunch entrees served whenever they were ready. We almost couldn't believe how fast both our appetizers and entrees came out (all at once like we asked). Everything tasted good too! Fried chicken dumplings, a Thai salad with peanut dressing, beef drunken noodles, and pad thai. Would come back to try other menu items and for fast and friendly service.

It is a small place but they do not crowd you in. Tables are spaced apart quite a bit. Food is very good in larger portions and the service was excellent. They need a little Thai decor perhaps. Very clean.

This place is located about five blocks from my house and is in incredible that after many years this is was the first time I came into this place , I am sorry for what I missed all of this years. However at the.same time I am happy that such a fine Thai restaurant is nearby, the food was tasteful and the service was superb. Can wait to go back!

We ate here on a Saturday night and the restaurant was not crowded at all. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant is immaculate, including the bathrooms. Each table has hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes available. Each table also has a button you can push to call the wait staff to the table. If you like Thai food this is the place to go. I think it's one of Baldwin's best kept secrets.

If I could give them no stars I would!Terrible customer service! Very nasty women who answered the phone who wanted to argue with me was the worst! My husband went to pay for the food and did not realize that they never gave him back his credit card. I called and asked if they had it and she said yes. I said that he would be on his way but that it was 9:10 and asked what time would they be closing. She said 9:30. I said that we live in Westbury and that he might not make it and arrive a little after. She said he could come tomorrow and that they were closing at 9:30 because of the snow storm. That would not begin until 1:00 am! So when I said to her again to wait for him to get there to return his card to him she got aggressive and argumentative raising her voice stating that it was my husband’s fault that he did not pick up the credit card from the counter. What the hell kind of customer service is that?! Dropped almost $70.00 for this? I told her that he needed his card to get gas. She did not care. So I am blasting your terrible customer service for everyone to see. I don’t pay to eat at a place that doesn’t treat their clientele with curtesy and respect. I can get Thai food anywhere! But I won’t be going back here!

This place has great Thai food and I've eaten at some really great ones! We weren't expecting this to be that good! The basil chicken had an amazing burst of flavors. The green curry was creamy and unique and really great. The chicken satay had an excellent creamy peanut sauce. I don't make it out to Freeport often but next time I will be back

Food was absolutely delicious! Went for late dinner take out got Drunken Noodle with Shrimp, Shrimp & Pineapple Curry, Samosas, Spring Rolls, Pan Fried Dumplings, Vegetable Fried Rice. The order was done I was outside and the girl came outside with my order and gave me a free Thai iced tea which was delicious. Definitely will be back I already had my brother-in-law go the next day. He's hooked also. Too hungry to take pictures, I'll try next time.

This place is a gem. Not only the food is delicious and authentic but also the owner us so nice and kind. Service is great. We truly look forward to go eat there because of his good manners. Really good thai food great new place and it was great the american broccoli with chicken and baby corn was outstanding with the coconut rice and the peanut sauce was really good the chicken sticks were good not a big fan of curry flavor on it but it was still good overall great place definitely will be back!!

The food is great from here and the delivery is very fast but I live in a condo complex and they refuse to bring the food to my door. We are very good tippers and give over the normal 20% but now that we can’t get the delivery to our door like we pay for, unfortunately the tip will be very minimal.

Authentic Thai food place. If you dream of a good Thai place with authentic dishes, come and visit the basil leaf grill. We tried all of their curries, pad Thai, whole fried snapper fish, and many others, and we loved it all.
The appetizers and the skewers are delicious.
We hope we can come back here soon.
