Thai food, Asian food
Sweet Rice food truck is my take out go-to. The owner is so sweet and really cares about making food with good, fresh ingredients. Her portions are very generous, and I always have leftovers. You can taste the love. ❤️
The Thai basil with chicken and the drunken noodles are my regular choices, but I've enjoyed everything I've tried there.
If you like Thai food and friendly, no fuss service, I encourage you to try Sweet Rice.
Two thumbs up and 5 stars for this food truck! I had the drunken noodles. Served very hot with great service. The quality is better than I’ve had in most restaurants. The flavors are balanced, vegetables are crisp, it’s served with limes and chili flakes on the side, and it’s in a compostable container. I am stoked and will definitely be back to support this little beacon.
First time buying from here. I bought Pad See Ew and it was one of the very best I’ve ever had. Lots of veggies and seasoned just right. I asked for the chicken and it was perfect. I’ll be going back!!
Really good food with great service made by a kind family. Walk-up orders can take a bit of time, but good food takes time. Truck is in midtown centrally located and easy to access parking lot.
Crab Rangoons - Great! Made from scratch with a nice Thai chili sauce
Pad Thai w/ Shrimp - Great! Solid portion with fresh ingredients, a little on the sweet side but that’s OK
Fried Rice w/ Chicken - Great! Solid portion with tender chicken and good flavors
*Not Pictured* Drunken Noodle w/ Chicken - Great! Well cooked wide glossy noodles with bok choy and other veg in a well balanced brown sauce
Sweet Rice Asian Express was EXCELLENT! We had the Chicken ($12.99) and Vegetarian Pad Thai ($12.99) and it was fresh and delicious. What put my experience over the top was the Thai Iced Tea ($3.50), which was a million times better than any Starbucks drink. Service was fast and so friendly! I can't wait to go back!
On second visit I had a friend tell me to get the iced coffee with condensed milk and it was the best coffee drink I've had all summer. I also tried the fish cake appetizer and crab rangoon with sweet Chile sauce, both were prepared perfectly. Fish cakes were like nothing I've tasted before. They had a wonderful texture of sausage patties and hints of green bean and lime leaf. I couldn't tell they were made of fish. They were Incredible, I'd highly recommend!
I popped into this spot in Santa Fe while I was there for work for a couple of days, and let me tell you, it's a gem! The owner is seriously one of the friendliest people I've ever met. She doesn't skimp on the food either – the portions are huge, and everything tastes delicious.
Just a heads up, though, she runs the place solo, so don't be surprised if your food takes a little while, especially when there are a bunch of orders ahead of yours. It's totally worth the wait, though.
What's cool is that if you're into trying some authentic Thai food, just let her know, and she'll whip something up just the way you want it. It's like having your own personal Thai chef!
All in all, my two visits here were awesome – warm vibes, big portions, and a taste of Thailand in Santa Fe. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area!

The best pad thai! There is another thai place that was my fav in town but it's crazy expensive and this place makes it fresh, uses quality ingredients, is authentic, the portions are giant and even better than the place I was going to! Will be back!
Also the owner's son was serenading with some lovely ukulele music and giving out organic apples he picked
Wonderful family business ❤️
We are in from out of town & wanted to change it up for dinner. What a great pick on our part! The owners are wonderful but the food is amazing! This is a must try if you enjoy Thai food! 😎🇺🇸
I would have added a photo but as soon as we tasted it we could not stop eating.
The food was cooked fresh, full of veggies, and not too salty. My new go-to Thai place!
Finally got to order two dishes to go as there is no shade or place to eat there. Delicious noodles, flat and wide. Sauce on Drunken noodles was sweet and savory. Plenty of shrimp or chicken added. I am missing the coconut curry, basil and lemongrass often associated with Thai food. This was closer to a Chinese mix. Oh well. Delicious in any case.
I found this little gem near my house.
Wow! Was I ever surprised. My favorite Asian food is Thai and this little place did not disappoint.
The drunken noodles were as good as any I have found in Santa Fe. I hope to try many more dishes. Please give these folks a try.

I only leave negative reviews but I made an exception because I TOTALLY love everything about Sweet Rice food truck. The owner/chef is so sweet ( I wish I could remember and pronounce her name) and gives the largest portions; enough for a 2nd meal but I usually eat all of it in 1 sitting. LOL! I try to dine from there a couple of times a week. Pad Thai is my all time favorite but am looking forward to trying all the other dishes. Be sure to leave a generous tip!
None of the food is vegetarian which is a real bummer. Very kind though!
Re: response. This food truck came up when I searched “vegetarian.” There’s nothing spiteful about not wanting others to be similarly misled.
Pad se ew is delicious and the lady who works here very nice
Had the Basil Stir fry and it was super tasty, and a good sized portion. The gentleman at the window was very nice aa well, will be coming back!
Food trucks really are hidden gems. This is the second food truck Thai food we tried while visiting another city and both times the food is simply awesome. We had Thai fried rice and drunken noodles and both were flavourful.

large helping of pad thai for 12.99, the thai tea wasnt too sweet. over all very refreshing. worker was very polite.
Love, love, love. This green tea and potstickers. What an awesome afternoon snack. Actually, I can’t get enough of the Thai green tea.
I got the chicken Pad Thai with Thai Tea & my boyfriend got the Drunken Noodles with Matcha Tea. We also shared Crab Rangoon. Everything was delicious. The portions are generous, just like the owner.
I absolutely love the food at Sweet Rice! Best Thai in SF by far. The owner is very sweet and she makes everything from scratch. Must try the Rangoons. Consistently great food which is hard to find!!
I stopped by and ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and a few of the Crab Rangoon. The flavors were great! The portions were HUGE! I ended up sharing my lunch with two coworkers - one order was plenty for all three of us. Owner is the cook and attendant - super nice lady! Highly recommend this spot.

Top tier Thai food in a really convenient location happy happy
Wow! This is a food truck not to be missed! I ordered a Pad See Ew that was better than any I have ever ordered at a sit down restaurant. The generous serving (I finished it for lunch the next day) came steaming and loaded with a bounty of fresh veggies and tender chicken. The wide noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce was spiced just right. It came with 2 thimbles of the hot stuff if you wanted to knock it up a notch. I believe it is just one person who takes your order and then does all the cooking.
She was super friendly-all smiles. Tip well because this place is worth it!
Firstly, i checked this place out because it had nothing but 5 stars, so I hate that this review taints that status. The lady working was nice and fulfilled all of my requests (extra hot chicken pad Thai and chopped peanuts), however, half of the chicken must have walked off before I arrived since I was consumed a practically meatless dish. If I go back, I will make a suggestion that more meat be added at no additional charge. Alas, I was optimistic that the pad Thai would be exceptional, but I was left utterly disappointed.
Food was really good and serving size was awesome
Oh what amazing Thai food to find in Santa Fe - Specials Tom kha gai soup , yellow curry and Pad Se Ew had excellent quality chicken and were very tasty. She uses compostible containers ( no plastic or styrofoam !)
She can adapt to your dietary needs
We wish her great success with her food and to her family !
Mmmmm so good!! Ordered basil chicken, fried rice, drunken noodles, pad thai and spring rolls for a lunch date. It was a hit! This is my go-to for Thai in Santa Fe.
Excellent food!
Now I'm not a food critic but I'm picky especially with my asian cuisine, I absolutely adore this place and the food is amazing. The customer service is wonderful and their an absolute delight. Definitely worth trying.

The food is always fresh delicious. Great portions and prices. Best Thai food I’ve had in a while. The owner is very friendly. Try the condiments she includes. The peanut sauce for the veg rolls and the sesame soy for the fish cakes were excellent excellent.

Excellent food and service, the drunken noodles were perfect and the Thai iced tea can be made with half and half or the traditional condensed milk. Bring cash to keep the fees down for this local small business although credit cards are accepted for orders over $20
Random saw this food truck and decided to try it. Food was delicious!!! Good price, and good size portion. Will be back again!
Service is great, food is delicious! The Thai tea and coffee is amazing! Love it!🤤👌🏽
OH YUMMMMM🤩 I ordered the Pad See Eew & it took me back to Thailand. By far the best I've had in years; so FRESH❣️ Thank you so much & welcome to Santa Fe🙏🙏🏵️🌻💐
The freshest Thai food I've ever had! They pride themselves on using healthy, high quality ingredients, and the service couldn't be better. Big portions, yet I don't ever feel weighed down after eating. You can tell they really care. It's become my regular lunch spot. Highly recommended!!
Great place to eat and drink! I'll definitely be back!
Tried sweet rice today! And it was out of this world! Jeab and her son Teishin are adorable! Highly recommend it!! 💚
