The food is tasty, but the staff does not know how to properly pack food to-go. My Panang curry was in a short cylindrical container that spills as you try to open the lid. The styrofoam box that contains noodles is completely smushed under the weight of other food. Also, the mango I received had a huge black spot on it which I am surprised they served to me.
For the taste, they got it spot on. They were well spiced and not too creamy to cater to the American diet. This tasted quite close to the authentic Thai cuisine I’ve been able to experience. I would 100% eat here again, but one star has to be deducted for their packaging practices.
Really good service very nice waiter she made sure we were set and okay the whole time I got a thai tea it was really good and a green curry boy oh boy this place carries the heat cause I got mild and it was making me bust a sweat if your not into spicy or can't handle the heat don't get any spicy they the option only if your too chicken lol definitely recommend for anyone though
I ordered a curry dish with tofu and flat egg noddles.... I'm allergic to shell fish. When they brought my order out, it had shrimp. I mentioned that I ordered tofu cause I'm allergic to shell fish... so cashier cam over and said that the curry already has based ingredients with shell fish except the yellow curry. Didn't make sense. But ok. So she said they will redo my dish. So they brought my dish out and I take a.bite of my tofu and then the curry with noodle... I told my mom to taste and and if she thought it tastes fishy...she said yes as i mentioned to her that they probably took out the shrimp and placed tofu in same dish. So I stopped eating it. I mentioned to waitress that it taste fishy. So she takes the plate and said they will make another. I was happy. So we decided to pay and take my order to go. We sat waiting for 30 minutes for my to go order but the first time "they made a whole new order at the table; it took them 3-5 minutes" They kept apologizing over and over cause I really think that they got scared cause I had ate some of it and me being g allergic ... so we get home and I open container of curry to cool down before I place in fridge. (My heads hurting and mouth itchy)... if I could take a picture and put it on here...smdh! No tofu, no crisp egg noodles, limes were old as if they pulled them down bottom of a weeks old container... i call them to ask for money back for this dish only, the other food was good and we spent over $80.00 for lunch and left $15.00 tip... no refunds... they said they gave me the second dish for free...no! I paid for it and yall tried getting away with taking out the shrimp and throwing in the tofu. It could have have been a serious situation if I ate more of the dish.
This is one of my go to spots. Service is unparalleled. Everything is always so fresh. I usually get the #74 Thai hot with an order of egg rolls. I've never had a bad meal and I've been coming here for at least 8 years. Lunch specials are great. They are also open on Sundays which is rare for Asian cuisine.
I took a chance on this place and ordered the Tom Kah soup, and it was watery. You could tell that they had skimped on the coconut milk. It was low on veggies and also on the beef. If it had been $5 cheaper maybe, but for the cost the food is too much for the quality. Try it and you’ll see what I mean.
Love coming here for lunch! Their papaya salad and curries are all excellent.
I got the pineapple chicken curry. It was delicious.
I am so disappointed. It used to be one of my favorite restaurant. I don't know if is a new owner, but the food it's awful. It tastes like microwave leftovers.
Ordered thom yum with beef. The tomato in the stew was spoiled. It looked like it was added last minute while the rest of the ingredients were obviously cooked longer, which would explain why the tomato tasted spoiled. The tomato was not cooked all the way. I called, and they insisted it was fine. Asked for a refund, they refused. I just wanted my money back so I can order from someplace else. Lesson learned, no more thai cuisine.
Super nice service and the pumpkin curry is to kill and die for.
The restaurant is in a strip mall and has plenty of parking. Portions were huge and food was delicious. Loved that I could get the temperature of the spices so I could go for the more mild option.
Used to be a good place to eat, now the portions have been reduced, and the prices have been increased by 25%. What a disappointment!
Great food and very nice people.
Pa-Nang - so delicious. I can’t take the heat but even the no chili version was spicy in a very tame way. Chicken Sa-Tay and Fried Vegetable Rolls both delicious!
I had the Pineapple fried rice with medium spice & added chicken
Food is wonderful. They are such sweeties when they greet you and give you your food. We have limitations because of our age on what we can eat. They adjust for us so we can get an awesome meal.
Not very hungry tonight, but the wife was and wanted Thai. So we're off to a favorite place and I'm thinking that I'd order something, have a few bites, and carry out the rest. Well, I order my favorite, Drunken Noodles with Tofu HOT. It was soooo good. I started slowly...again not too hungry, but I couldn't stop. Even not feeling that hungry, I are like I hadn't eaten all day. This is such a nice place in a nice neighborhood in a good strip mall. Take the time to try it!
My favorite green curry 🤤 The best I have had in Albuquerque 💜
Our favorite place to get Thai! We usually get it to go and it’s always fast and delicious
Very good food. Always a good experience.
Very slow service. Atmosphere spells like sewer.
They give you no meat or seafood
We left a tip and the waitress decided to add to her tip. This was not a mistake bc she also edited the total we wrote on the bill. Watch your back at this place. The food was old and the rice smelled horrible. We will NEVER be back. I'm so sad the old owner is gone.
Updated Review from 2024:
On my most recent visit, the service was bad and the food was a bit disappointing. They actually charged more than the tip I provided. Since my original review, the portions have decreased and the prices have increased disproportionately to the portions and inflation. I most likely will not be returning after this experience.
Original Review from 2019:
Of the four places in Albuquerque where I've had Thai food, this place is easily my favorite. The food was great, the service was quick, and the prices are quite reasonable.
Ordered delivery… very good curry
This is one of my go-to places for takeout Thai cuisine.
Quality hasn't been up to par lately. Last night the potatoes in my yellow curry weren't cooked all the way and had the raw taste.
Great food and attentive service as always. Prices are within reason. Plenty of food. I love the Pa Nang Curry and the Fried Ice Cream. The shrimp appetizer was also very good.
Food a was Ok. They messed up and didn't put fried rice in my teriyaki chicken so they lady gave us two sides. That would of been fun going all the way home. My main concern was I ordered a side of sticky rice when I arrived home the sticky rice was a sandwich bag and In a big clump of rice, which leafs.em to believe they pre maid and microwaved the rice. At least remove the bag....rice was too hard to eat in a big ball. Unfortunately may not go back.
Great food came out fast.
Severs are nice.
Friendly staff and fast service
Great
Lots of these types of places floating around town with similar menus, it's basically all the same..I would prefer dining in then getting it to go. Like most restaurants, the foods are always best at restaurants, then taking it home. I noticed the big difference. The soups last longer in transport but the rest just isn't the same. Bottom line, just one of many around town that serve the same stuff. Not too bad, And not that special either.
Red curry to die for! I loved every bite.
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in town. You can't go wrong with the curry or noodles here. Do yourself a favor and order the black rice pudding for dessert.
Has sewer smell. Egg rolls were cold in the center. Veggies for the teriyaki bowl looked dried. Never offered a menu or given prices before ordering. Feel nauseous after leaving. Sewer fumes should be addressed ASAP.
VERY RUDE OWNER. I've been a repeat customer for quite a while and recently I came by to eat and do some homework and I basically got told to leave. The owner told me I was staying for a long time in order to get me out, even when there were plenty of empty tables. I will never be eating here again.
Food was great and everyone was super nice
Food was expensive extremely bland. The place I normally go was closed for the weekend. I’ll wait next time.
Service was good! But the rest ruined it
Over the past 3 yrs prices have steadily increased and portions have decreased. Tonight was the last straw for me. Placed online pick up order and it was 45 mins late. They gave me a vegetarian dish when I ordered chicken. Also, my meal was supposed to be GF and it isn’t, I can tell from the sauce. I just wasted roughly $16. There were 11 of us in the waiting area at once waiting for pick up orders. Despite being late the hostess and cashier didn’t offer to give anyone a free meal.
Longest wait time ever.
Clean atmosphere, people friendly
This is one of my favorite Thai places in the city
Super expensive for the quality. Menu says basil, you get parsley. The spring rolls were just ice berg lettuce with shrimp. Definitely should have read the recent reviews prior to going. It was disappointing. 👎
The curry was great but 3 of us ordered 1 thing and an appetizer and the bill was $84 dollars. That wouldn’t bother me if the portions weren’t so small. Thai Cuisine II has much better portions and prices in my opinion and a little better.
I’ve been a customer of Thai Cuisine for at least 20 years! I really hate to post this, but as of lately I am assuming they are under new management. Prices have gone up, I’m certainly not complaining because I know the cost of everything has gone up. However, the quality of the food and portion sizes have gone significantly down! Tons of rice, beef is extremely chewy, dumplings burnt, nothing tastes the same. Tonight there was an extreme sewer smell that just smacked you in the face as soon as you opened the door. Had I not prepaid for my order online, I probably would have turned right around. I hope the new owners work to bring Thai Cuisine back to the high standard that it used to be.
Great food!
Great food and great service.
Havent been here in a few years but, it's as delicious as I remember it being. This is why I returned. The waitress was very pleasant & made sure we had everything we needed. I will b a regular customer once again!
There was an odd smell when we first walked in but couldnt figure it out. We were told to seat ourselves and we did. We ordered our meals and my wife's was brought out by itself. The AC turned on and we figured out the smell. It was raw sewage. Almost 10 minutes after my wife's food was brought they brought mine. Wasn't served like it was advertised. Looked more like they threw it in a bowl, packed it down, and flipped it over on a plate. Couldn't finish eating due to the smell of raw sewage permeating the restaurant. Very disappointing trip.
Food was so gross and the service sucked dont go here save your $
I discovered that the prices are a huge surprise if you call in an order to go…the prices are doubled! The volume is too but I didn’t want all that food and i definitely wasn’t ready for the price!
I won’t be back!
Always so delicious!!
It was pretty mid, not a lot of flavor but at least the portion was filling. It was almost empty for lunch hour on a Friday. I wouldn't recommend nor would I return.
Awesome food
Bull Lucero
USMC
My pick up time was 6:25. I arrived at 6:23 and they told me it would be another 15 minutes. The restaurant was dead and the delivery didn’t look busy.
Ordered yum Tom soup and chicken curry. Ordered Both mild. However they were both extremely spicy and lacked flavor. Soup had chunks of raw potato . Will not return.
The restaurant was clean. The server was very nice and knowledgeable. The high point was the mango/ sticky rice dessert!
First time visiting, awesome experience. Fresh, flavourful dishes and friendly staff.
Great Thai food on the Westside of Albuquerque. All the traditional Thai menu items available. Our food was prepared promptly with spot on service. The yellow curry and red curry dishes we ordered were above our expectations. Good value for the price, you won't go wrong.
The portion was such a joke! I even ordered extra plain jasmine rice and it was such a small portion. Rice is not even that expensive. Rather than reducing portion to laughable quantity just increase the price.. For such good food I’m disappointed and loss for words🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Like another reviewer said, I think this may be under new management. The flavors aren’t the same. I ordered the drunken noodles today and it was very salty. Good, but just over salted.
I'm not sure when management changed but tonight will be the last time we eat here. I ordered chicken pad thai, it had no chicken, the noodles were slimmy and overall flavorless. The spring rolls had a couple of small shrimp, mostly filled with lettuce. Service was also not good, our waitress didn't check on us once or refill our drinks during dinner. This used to be one of the best thai restaurants in town, what a shame!
This place is great. Authentic Thai food. Go eat there and enjoy!!
Service here sucks, one of my siblings used to work here and mentioned most the food was frozen from sams club or Costco. Don’t be fooled especially by the price!
I have been going here since the day they opened and it is every bit as good as it was 20 ish years ago. I will always be a customer here. Love the Pad Mee!
Our take out was 35 minutes later than they said it would be. Food was good; the experience was not.
I’m new to Albuquerque and I was really pleased with Thai Cuisine on Coors Blvd. I have had really authentic Thai food there. The service can be a little slow but it’s a delightful restaurant with delicious authentic Thai food.
Excelent food, they have the best chai tea, authentic Thai food!
Best Thai in the city! I don’t live in this part of town anymore but still make my way out here any time I want Thai food, it’s that good. Always hits the spot, employees are always super nice, and the prices are good. Love the red curry and drunken noodles!
Got the pad thai #44 it was delicious I didn’t think i would like it once I received my order but once i tried it it was very tasty, big portions as well i would say it was a bit spicy but it was still very good. I would come again!
I went there for lunch and did not have a good one. I ordered the lunch combo and dinner to take home. I ordered both medium. My mom also ordered medium pad Thai. She thought it was too hot for her, we were hoping they would remake it. The server and cook had an attitude and acting like they did not have any idea of what we were saying.
I was disappointed in the dinner portion especially paying 13.00 for it. We won't be returning that place again. A rip off.
It was Delicious! Glad to be able to dine in. Pad Thai here is my favorite. Fried Rice is also good.
I could smell the nasty bathroom so I had to switch tables. I shouldn't be able to smell the bathroom in a place where people are eating. PLEASE clean your bathroom. Also noticed a significant price increase and for the level of service it's a no for me.
Always fantastic food. When you want it spicy, they being it. Also, tbeir coconut ice cream is the best thing.
Typical 'Hole in the Wall' amazing food. Absolutely love their Pineapple Red Curry!!! 💗❤️💖 Great Service! Eat there every chance I get!!!
I love this place. Probably visit once a week. Delicious food. Sweet servers. Place is kind of shabby, though. Wish the restroom was handicap friendlier.
My favorite place to eat Thai in ABQ!!! I always go here if I’ve been having a bad day and the friendly staff and bomb food never cease to cheer me up. I’m a die hard pad see ew fan but I’ve tried a bunch of other dishes here and they’re all fantastic! The new management has seriously increased the quality of the food, it’s fresher and has bigger portion sizes. The best :))))<3
Good portion size. Getting Extra soy sauce from them is like pulling teeth. Chicken pad Thai enough for two meals
I have been ordering for years from here , but for over a year now when I order my spicy rice with chicken and it’s just rice and extremely very little chicken . I really liked the food here , but if the price’s went up and they are cheating you with the meats , just gonna have to find another place !!
Great food . Friendly service
Ordered some take out appetizers, food hot and fresh!!! Authentic food very delicious!!!
Food was terrible. Everything was dry and had no flavor. The eggrolls were burned on the outside and frozen in the middle. This place used to be good, but it seems it was sold to someone who does not know how to make Thai food. We got the pad Thai for a guest that was visiting and he ate about 3 bites and left the entire plate and played it off that he already ate earlier. Wasted $80.
10/1/2022..I think this restaurant is no longer to the old Thai owner or Thai cook anymore. All non-Thai staff from waitress , busboy, cashier, owner , if you catch what I meant. Terrible experience! Long wait for food. I mean longer than the normal wait time that you wait in the restaurant like this. Overpriced on appetizers. We got eggrolls and they were dry outside & undercooked inside . 4 tiny vegie eggrolls about the same size of my Asian tiny thumbs. Waited > 45 min for 1 plate of stir fry noodle. The waitress was ignoring us the whole time. Again awful soggy noodle. Had to send back the seafood Tom yum soup, didn't come in the hotpot anymore, came in a soup bowl & tiny thing cup of rice , they wanted $18 for it. We sent it back. At the end , the white owner came out to ring us up $30 for 2 watery soda, 4 tiny vegie eggrolls, 1 small plate of stir fry noodle. We had to go to Sonic to some burger afterward. We will not come back. There are lot of other good Thai restaurants around town. Those food photos on Google reviews are old photos back when the old owner still managed the restaurant. So beware! Eat and pay and then get angry like us. We got ripped off, man.
Great service and the food is amazing. I would definitely recommend. I ordered the Yellow Curry Chicken. You can choose the amount of heat you would like, from mild to Thai. I went with the hot, I'll save the Thai hot for another day. The noodles are a great option too. They have angel hair, egg noodles and rice noodles. The options are endless from Pad Thai and beyond.
Wasn't that good pad thai lacked clavor
Always so good. I feel like they would not serve food that they would not eat themselves.
This is a hidden gem that I’ll recommend anybody who loves thai food! The TOM KHA soup is to die for (recommend with tofu as your protein, if you’re into that sort of thing). The Kao Pad (Thai fried rice) w/chicken is always my go-to. I also really love their Panang, Pumpkin, or Red curry dishes 🔥🔥 i LOVE spicy food but even for me I’ll typically order medium & it’s the perfect level of heat.. Beware if you dare to go “hot” or “Thai spicy” 🥵… I will definitely continue to come here weekly for my Thai fix, and you should too!
Before today, I didn’t know bad Thai food could exist. Since the change in ownership, noodles are dry, flavors are less savory, and even the fried vegetable rolls are suffering (burnt on the outside and soggy in the middle). The portions have even shrunk — including the rice (the cheapest commodity). It feels like Europeans took over the kitchen.
Don't leave don't leave
Good thai, fun decor
Fried rice was good but the pad see ew was dry and bland
The food was just ok. A little disappointing if I'm being honest.
Overall, it wasn't a comfortable environment to eat in. There are plenty of places near by with better food/service.
Not inside Albertsons
Food is authentic and delicious! Everyone is so nice, too! Lunch specials are highly recommended.
Had the pumpkin curry with seafood, ordered hot (hot is hot) delicious.
No one in the restaurant 😕 still had to wait 15 minutes for the food not recommend to order delivery
Great food, great service...nice place...
My girlfriend and I come here often because we enjoy the curry and have never had any problems. Yesterday we ordered their pineapple curry and not only was it unbearably salty it gave us the worst food poisoning. We have been puking since we had gotten it.
Great food, spiced very well and full of flavor. Portions are generous and wonderful for the price. Highly recommend.
They have Khao Soi! It was good too. I will be back.
Very rude here don’t recommend my soup came very watery and wasn’t made right I had told the lady working in the front if she can make it again because it wasn’t made right is always the same lady she replied with you are very annoying and kept saying no and ignoring me and then she continued to make fun of what I was saying she is obviously taking things out in her customers only go here if you guys want horrible service and your food not made right I have heard this from numerous people That have gone there they all have a bad experience
Worst service ever workers are verry rude got my food to go but I asked if I can eat it there and she responded you are very annoying and was acting like she was very annoyed by my question and kept on being rude she obviously has some problems at home that she is taking out on her customers
The food was awesome and the customer service from Gavin was exceptional.
Very good food, been coming to this establishment for 20 years!! Best Thai food in town in my opinion!!
The service was good.. the soup.was good.. my dumplings were over cooked..
What the... never ever order delivery from these people. We ordered, to be delivered, red curry with chicken and pineapple curry with tofu and it was pumpkin or potato curry with tofu instead of the red curry. I was like, "ok I'll try to be open minded," but it was so awful it went straight into the trash. The wrong curry was a yellowish potato/pumpkin curry with no Chile at all. It was a completely disgusting disintegrated glob that you couldn't even tell which one it was either. I've eaten here in person many times and was delicious in person and this place was total flop as we ordered through self lane tonight. They were lying about the delivery driver leaving earlier than they actually cooked it and sent it out. The food was hot but 1 hour late? I call that a lie. We ordered before 6 and said it will be here at 6:19 but driver didn't even leave until 6:40 and we finally got it before 7ish. Own up to your poor service or failed cooking for the night and don't lie about the driver or give us the wrong order. Never ever ordering here again. And never going in person again. They are dead to me now. They were rude too when we tried to call about the wrong order and get a refund. They do not communicate very good. This was the most uncusine Thai I have ever eaten.
The food was good but I felt like it tasted almost 100% like Thai Spice, which is one of my favorites. The only difference is that Thai Spice is way cheaper AND their portions are bigger. My wife got the orange chicken and the portion was very small. I got the massaman curry and it was about half of the size of Thai Spice and almost 2.00 more. A child's serving of fried rice through Uber Eats was almost 5.00. The price and smaller portions is the only reason I would give a 3/5 stars. Hopefully they can work on this because the flavor (at least for the curry) and heat level (for those that like Thai spice heat or greater) was great. Until then I would not recommend going back when you can get more bang for your buck with equal flavor at places like Thai Spice.
Food was fresh a day delicious. Highly recommend.
Delicious 👌
Great place w great food.
The food is always delicious in my mind.
Always soo good!
I highly recommend you try this place great food and pricing
Great food. A little pricey nowadays...
I like my food super spicy this is the only place in town that can give me the heat that I need to SURVIVE 💖
Service was quick, Pad Thai was tasty, but really sweet. I will try it again.
The food, the service and the prices were very good. I will definitely be back.
It was absolutely horrible. Ordered a vegetable spring roll. I tasted it. It was cooked in the outside but was uncooked in the inside. And Tai Coffee tasted burnt. Tasted like the coffee has been sitting there for hours.
Yummy food and decent prices. Would recommend!
Forgot soup. Chicken Satay packaged in a ziplock.
Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff.
I loooooveeeee this place, they are super friendly, and food is always so delicious!!! You can’t ever go wrong ordering from here!!!
It's so Delicious, Amazing flavors.
Quantity is little lesser than the other Thai restaurants in town.
Great staff good food
The food tastes great. It is fresh and we always enjoy having lunch or dinner there. The staff is especially friendly and will make recommendations on what is good on the menu. Great food and staff!
The smell sewage was so terrible I had to walk out and couldn't even eat there. That smell can not be good for business. Would not recommend.
A bit on the pricier side for the portion sizes, but the food was very good and they had some unique options or at least one’s I haven’t seen before like green thai tea.
Very friendly and super nice about our toddler being energetic. I would go here again :)
Yum yum yum! The flavors were outstanding! Wow! Portions were more than enough!
The only thing was that we asked for flatware because we didn't have any but they weren't included.
5 Stars!
This is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat in town. Food is amazing and the staff is some of the sweetest people one will ever meet. I eat here as much as I can.
Service was a bit slow but the only waitress was wonderful....great attitude and the food was exactly what I wanted. They are one of the best Thai places around!
Great Thai food. The restaurant is small and quiet but the flavor packs a punch.
It was very expensive and not very good tasting. I was expecting some spiciness but there wasn't any. The chicken was boiled with no flavor at all. Pot stickers were no good, cooked wrong . All around bad experience.
great food, great service.....
Rude cashier. Extremely unhelpful and rude owner. I’ve gotten uncooked food here last time I ordered through a food app.
Thai Cuisine never disappoints! Take out or dine in, the food is great/fresh and the servers always friendly! Love this place!
Just a bad experience. Ordered Pad Woon Sen and curry. Haven’t tried the curry yet. Noodles were dry and the very minimal chicken was tough and overcooked. Barely a vegetable in sight in the box of noodles. Curry doesn’t even fill the container - about 2/3 of the plastic receptacle which contains also minimal meat.
All this for 27$.
Very disappointed.
I asked the clerk when I came in if there was enough food for my family and enough meat and was told yes. When I returned to ask why the noodles were dry and the meat was sparse I was told I ought to have ordered double meat.
Not acceptable.
Seems like the restaurant was quite apathetic about quality and service.
Average quality food
The food is tasty, but the staff does not know how to properly pack food to-go. My Panang curry was in a short cylindrical container that spills as you try to open the lid. The styrofoam box that contains noodles is completely smushed under the weight of other food. Also, the mango I received had a huge black spot on it which I am surprised they served to me.
For the taste, they got it spot on. They were well spiced and not too creamy to cater to the American diet. This tasted quite close to the authentic Thai cuisine I’ve been able to experience. I would 100% eat here again, but one star has to be deducted for their packaging practices.
Great service and menu. Noodle dishes such as their excellent pad thai. Awesome soups like their thom ka. Jasmine and brown rice available as sides on certain dishes. Fried rice entrees too. I'm not certain but they may have import and domestic beer selections. Fantastic curries. Great appetizers, desserts, and teas ( i love their thai iced tea!)...similarly sweet as Vietnamese iced coffee but a unique taste all its own. I've gone here for twenty years or so before they renovated and expanded to what seems like two to three times the size. That's saying something all by itself. You have to try them if you like Thai cuisine. Many dishes have selections on protein including tofu and choices for heat all the way to Thai HOT...WATCH OUT! I love this place.
Very flavorful but be warned. Hot means HOT!
The best thai food in New Mexico
Simple menu but done wonderfully . If you need real spice in your life eat here.
