"Fine Thai Cuisine“
I ordered the Spicy Veggie House Fried Rice with fried tofu and the Chicken & Shrimp Pad See Ew through Uber Eats. The Pad See Ew had great flavor and a generous portion size, which I really enjoyed.
However, I was very disappointed with the shrimp portion—there were only three shrimp in such a large serving of noodles. Shrimp is my favorite, I was expecting more but unfortunately many restaraunts do skimp on this.
I have been to the place about 3 or 4 times and found it be excellent each and every time. I have a family member that lives nearby which is how we chose this place. Each time we each tried a different dish and all were great. On the most recent visit I had the Pad Thai with beef, my wife had the Massaman Curry and aunt had the Crispy Duck Salad.
The service is always great.
I can't wait to return here again.
Delicious food and very attentive service!
We recently dined there and it has been quite sometime since our last visit, but immediately upon entering and our first mouthful, we were reminded of just how good the service is as well as the delicious food.
Thank you, Splash of Thai.
We were able to make a reservation for 7 people, 30 minutes before we arrived. Ive been here about 10 times now, and they never disappoint. Everyone enjoyed their food. The presentation was even nicer than we remembered and the food came out fairly quickly too. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! No one in my party had had duck in a while, most of us ordered it and it was just the way it should be, crispy yet tender. For the service, quality and quantity of food, the value is incredible. I’ll definitely be returning soon.

Always good food, good service and excellent value for your money ...great steamed tofu entrées...

Solid all day long.
Very kind service, better prices than other Thai places in the area, excellent flavor, and very vegetarian friendly! 10/10.
The flavors were good, but a bit bland, compared to dishes from other Thai restaurants. The chosen protein was heavily skimped on, considering the price. The portions were also not commensurate to the price, and were suitable for people on very low-calorie/portion diets. It might have been because it was a delivery order versus an in-restaurant order. I had ordered what I thought would be enough to entertain three guests - Pad Thai w/chicken & shrimp, Walnut Shrimp, Basil Fried Rice w/shrimp, Basil Udon Noddles w/shrimp & calamari, and Duck Basil served a tiny cup of rice. I was terribly embarrassed that my guests had to get one or two pieces each of the protein or none (which had to me). I thought that for $102.00 (not including the fees and taxes and tip), it would be a proportionate order to its cost. The delivery was timely and perfect!
Great food that actually tastes like food I had in Thailand. Every dish was flavorful and the portions are big. The staff is friendly and polite and the restaurant is nicely decorated inside.
Don’t miss out on the lunch special! For $12-13 you get a soup or salad, an appetizer, and an entree! Great value for price.
we love this place! Yummy!
Great food. They try to make the food as spicy as you want. It's a Byob. So bring your own wine. Very affordable. Kid friendly and nice atmosphere. The service is good as well.
love the fried tofu. always get great service here
Was able to walk in and get a table for 9 people. It's a little pricy but all food was incredible, the duck was nice and chewy with a crispy skin. the rice noodles and vegetables in the soup were very fresh and well cooked. My Rangoon was very crispy and delicious. Everything is so fresh and well made I'd eat here all the time if I could. The staff are very kind and good at interacting with the customers. The place is well maintained and super clean, I randomly picked this place as somewhere to eat while in town and was incredibly surprised by this gem of a fantastic restaurant.
Absolutely delicious food and really wonderful service. Will definitely come back.
Kind staff
It was a very nice place and the food & service were great. Going back soon.
Very fast service good food
We have been looking for a great authentic Thai restaurant for a while and we finally found it! Food and service were beyond expectational! BYOB is a plus ! We definitely be back!
Great food. Great service. Large portions.
The food was tasteless, raw, order crispy duck and it was running some form of liquid, saggy. It made my husband and I very nauseous
Ordered take out. Seafood drunken noodles are good! Tom yum is excellent.
Great food at a great price
My colleagues and I had a really excellent lunch meeting here. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and nice. The food was absolutely delicious, specifically the peanut dressing on the salad. I had the pineapple noodles with tofu and it was absolutely delicious. highly recommend
Very welcoming ,friendly staff.Excellant food
Parking around block.
It was a great experience and tasty food.
I've visited numerous Thai restaurants, but this experience was the worst. Initially, I reserved a table for four, but due to a last-minute addition of my mother, we arrived with five people. The manager became unexpectedly upset, advising me to call for reservations next time instead of booking online. Additionally, after ordering appetizers, we waited a frustrating 40 minutes for our main dinner course, despite arriving at 6:30 pm. When we addressed the delay with the waiter and manager, their response implied that our concerns weren't a priority because they were busy. Frustrated, I decided to cancel the dinner and requested the bill, leaving the restaurant unsatisfied. I won't be returning!!!
We were there for lunch on 11/8/23; food was amazing but the server was way beyond rude. Poor rating is totally due to the way server made us feel while we were there. While ordering, I asked server if 'pineapple fried rice' would be sweet; her response was "I don't know because I don't like rice with pineapple but a lot of Indian people eat this". I get it if she doesn't know or new to the job and she could have asked her team but her response was way out of line judging people with their race. Then she came to pick up menus from the table, I asked her to leave the beverage since I didn't notice earlier that there is separate menu for beverage. She asked me "why do you need menu for?". What can someone do with the menu other than order. This wasn't enough of her rudeness. Worst part was - she asked 2 families sitting around us if they had problem with our 3 months baby. Our baby wasn't even crying and no one even complained then I don't see a point why she asked other families. One of the families even told her 'why would this be a problem, we love babies'. We can't tolerate this type of service and left the restaurant as soon as we finished the meal. If restaurant doesn't want people with babies then they should say that out loud and we would be happy to give business to other family friendly restaurants. Not going to go back again !
I love Splash of Thai. It's one of my favorite restaurants.
Outstanding authentic food, service, friendly staff...highly recommend the Japanese eggplant w/chicken
One of the best places to eat fried tofu Tom yum fried rice and Thai iced tea
The papaya salad is a MUST try!
We went for a birthday celebration and had made reservations for a group of 8. Restaurant was practically empty when we reached at 7:30 PM. Ambiance, location and dishes were good. However, unlikely we will return as the person who seated us and took our orders was rude and curt. There was total lack of hospitality which is so important in restaurant business., especially when we ordered so much. Unfortunate.
We went for anniversary food was good serb
No wi-fi. Mediocre lighting.
Lunch was 3 courses. So delicious. It was BYOB. Beautiful space so relaxing. Don't miss this one. The price is right.
My God the food here is soooooo good! The curries are divine!
Messed up my order and rice doesn’t have flavor. Wouldn’t recommend this place

This is a great and consistent restaurant. We’ve been enjoying them for years. If you like spice, i find that they go by an “american” scale - their five star could be a bit more five 🤣
My wife loves their pad thai and i really like their curries.
I have been to Thailand…twice **pushes nose up** . Beautiful country…beautiful people! I am grateful to have this very good Thai restaurant so close to Cranford. Cranford has its own Thai place but I ordered takeout there and will never do it again…let’s leave it at that. This place gets my stamp of approval and is actually one of the best restaurants I’ve been to of any category of food in this area since I’ve lived here. Bang for buck is very good. They do their country justice! Will we see Kao Soi on the menu soon?
ขอบคุณ!
Very delicious food and good service.
Amazing food. First time eating Thai food and could not go wrong with this place. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Great experience.
The staff are nice and friendly. The local is well decorated and clean. It is a pleasant room to be. loved 😍 this time we have lunch. From Tuesday to Friday they offer a "lunch special". We have a started an salad included, plus the main dish. Same quality and service.
I don't know what authentic Thai food tastes like but I know I love the food here a lot. It's our go-to Thai spot. They never disappoint. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I love that you can adjust the spiciness level. For me, that means I turn it all the way up because food can never be too spicy as long as the flavors are balanced...and they are. My fave dishes are the pad Thai, basil fried rice, and soft shell crab basil. I also like the cold Thai hibiscus tea; it's not too sweet but sweet enough. The appetizers are what you would expect. Nothing really stands out, but we order them anyway. The main dishes are the stars here. There is free parking in the back and we've never had issues finding a spot. We've never seen the restaurant packed (we've only visited early evening during the weekday) but there is always a steady stream of orders coming in from online & Uber eats. There's always a dozen or so orders lined up for pickup. It's a BYOB restaurant. I'm not sure if there is a corkage fee because we didn't BYOB. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion. There's good energy in the restaurant and we always feel good after our dining experience. Splash of Thai is on heavy rotation at our home.
Funny story. Ordered my Uber then smelled this heavenly smell. I’ll be back to eat there one day!! 😉 Yep… this rating is based on smell alone from outside 🙃
A cozy place with good food plenty of variety. It was lacking a little in taste, if you like spicy this might not be for you, otherwise great.
Ok, used to be much better.
Great place 👌
This is one of my favourite local Thai places! The number 1 reason for it is quality of food. Mouth watering. Try anything from their menu and it's guaranteed delicious. Their quality does tend to drop *a tad* when they're packed... which is usually during dinner times but if you can, go during the day and enjoy the best thai cuisine you'll ever try. For fancier moments, their decor and ambience is also pretty great.... they do get a little crowded so it can get noisy but I've never minded that.... the only issue is I've never ordered dessert there coz I'm so stuffed with all the main course and appetizers! In the best way possible. Lip smacking, mouth watering food.
Delicious food. Great for date night or Girls nights.
Amazing
Great lunch special. One of the best deals around
Oh NO! They used to be our favorite Pad Thai restaurant until this evening! They changed their Pad Thai noodles and different and incredibly underwhelming.
We used to go their 1x a week and their Pad Thai was the closest to being back in NYC that we could find in Westfield. I’m so bummed that they changed their recipe/noodles!
Great ambiance and service inside though
This place is great! Atmosphere is warm and welcome but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some Thai classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. The owner (Jo) was very nice. He helping us with all the question on the menu.
Excellent food and service 👌 😋 small parking behind the restaurant. Nice environment perfect for a nice talk with friends and family.
First time here and it was delicious. I've had a lot of Thai food over the years and can honestly say this place is very good. We had a few appetizers which were alright but nothing special and the main courses were all very good. Desserts were also yummy and everyone in our group enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
First time trying this restaurant and the Duck Tamarind is a must try!! Crispy outside and yet the meat was juicy and tender!
Delicious food, my go-to for Chicken Pad Thai in this area.
completely different than a couple months ago. not good at all. nowhere near how it used to be a year or so ago. did not listen when i requested no carrots or peas.
My husband and I have been going to Splash of Thai for years, mostly for their amazing fresh rolls. Today we ordered some to take out and they changed the recipe! Nooooo! They took out the shrimp and lemongrass and put in tofu. Plus, they are huge and chunky now, not small and delicate. And not even the same sweet peanut sauce either. Sadly we will not be going back unless they bring back the original fresh rolls :(
Love the service and the food!
This place used to be great. Loved the drunken noodles. Went WAY downhill since summertime. Wouldn’t even recommend now. Won’t go back.
Very good Thai food, reasonable prices.
The drunken noodles are the best out of any Thai place I have ever tried. This place is a long drive away from me, but I will always make the drive to eat there. Everything is delicious!!
My food was dry and my order was wrong once I got home and opened my bag. If you’re unable to maintain quality of service during a busy evening you should let your customers know so they can order elsewhere $60 gone to waste!
Cold, dry noodles with very little flavor never again will I pick up from this place
We did not have a good experience, there were many things that went wrong. The green curry was way too salty I couldn’t even eat the curry. I asked not to add mushrooms but they did add mushrooms to sautéed vegetables. The Thai tea is very sweet, way too much sugar added. Vegetables in the green curry were very raw not cooked atall. Overall not a good place to eat Thai food. I did let them know but they did nothing about.
Been here a couple of times and I’m always been away by their rich flavors…
Steady.... No change in quality or taste since they opened a long time ago.
Ordered through doordash and will never do so again. They feel because they're not meeting you face to face they can send you whatever they want. Too many restaurants are using covid as an excuse to send messed up orders for costly food. My order came up to $21(before tax, delivery, service fee, and driver tip). I ordered the drunken noodles and spring rolls. I paid $5 for extra shrimp and there were about only 5 pieces of shrimp and a bunch of bland cold noodles and onions/2 pieces of cives no other vegetables.
Edit: MY REPLY TO OWNERS RESPONSE of course I ordered from you guys how can I mix something up like that, although this was a while ago I am appalled that you would even accuse me of lying about where I ordered my food from. Check the photos attached and tell me that isn't from your restaurant. UNBELIEVABLE. That response says a lot about your customer service. Reguardless I was refunded by doordash thankfully but I will not be supporting this restaurant in the future.
Yes! Bring some wine and have a fine time.
For American-style Thai food, this place is consistently tasty.
Ordered delivery for the first time yesterday and was really happy with how good the food was. We ordered the crispy duck salad, dim sum, soup, and drunken noodles and everything arrived fresh, hot, and really delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients. Delivery arrived quickly too! Will definitely be ordering again!
Ordered delivery through Grubhub and it came 10 mins early which is always nice! Everything was delicious and I will 100% be ordering from them again when I get a craving for Pad Thai!
First time ordering from here through Door Dash and they didn't disappoint! Exceeded our expectations. Food arrived hot, fast and delicious!! We definitely will be eating from here again!
Very good and a great family restaurant. Love going there
Great food and decent service. Drunken noodles were the best.
The food is very tasty and very good price. Not happy with the seating arrangement the tables were close and only separated fabrics. I did not feel comfortable.
Friendly, clean, and the food is delicious 😋 the best Thai iced tea
Delicious fried rice fried ice cream is 😋
Great food and service
Post is a few months old but veggie options available and gf noodles too (rice noodles). My fav local thai place.
Omg what great service and food was so tasty was so good my girlfriend and I went back twice a the lady remembered us and said when we ordered the same thing as last time when I forgotten to tell her not to spicy if I wanted it like this last time. Very friendly and clean I truly felt safe
Love their food! Fresh and delicious. Great customer service! Drunken noodle and Ginger Chicken are my faves!
Edit: PAD SEE EW IS LITERALLY A LITTLE TASTE OF HEAVEN!! I'VE ORDERED IT EVERYDAY THIS WEEK AND I PRE-ORDERED FOR TODAY AT 5! I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT SAUCE IS BUT I LIVE IT!!!
Red curry chicken tasty but very thin curry sauce. White meat a little overcooked. Tom Yum had authentic flavors. Spiciness of both very muted.
Splash Of Thai is by far my favorite Thai restaurant in all of NJ. Consistently great and authentic, you can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. My favorites are the Red/or Green Curry shrimp or chicken, also the BKK is awesome!! If you like squid, don't leave without trying the salad...simply the BEST!!!
Delicious Thai food with social distances indoor dining available.
I just went to eat at this restaurant is only 7:49pm on a Saturday night and we were told that they are not taking any more clients for the rest of the night because is too busy for them . We had been loyal customers and this is really sad.
AVOID! MUST READ! We sat next to the kitchen opening, where they had about 5 big jars filled with rice. We noticed there was a bug in there, and at least a couple of dozen maggots. I quickly asked the cook that was standing there if he cooks that specific rice, he said they cooked it and prepared in the morning, FROM THAT JAR! They then proceeded to cleaning the maggots, but trying to save the rice! We quickly ran out and will never come back. There needs to be more control from the health department in restaurants in New Jersey (or bring Chef Ramsey back)!
Just ordered the drunken noodles and it was excellent!!! Definitely will be ordering from them again.
My wife and I enjoyed it the food was great
Really bland and boring food, bordering on bad. This is certainly not Thai food, perhaps westernized to the point of forgetting its roots?
Ive had far better thai at near by restaurants, and even cheeper thai in the city. If they are going to charge that much per plate, they need to up their game.
Rápidos eficientes y muy amables la comida es exquisita
The pad Thai was sooooooo good! The spring rolls were perfection. Definitely ordering again!
We arrived when the place just opened so there was no other customers there. We sat right away and the servers were ok, kinda young. The place was very clean and not so big but would fit a good amount of people. It is BYOB as well.
So the person I was with wanted to order different things so we can try. The curry had a sweet and hot taste that I didn't particularly care for. The snapper was seasoned well on the top but not throughout. The shrimp was really good with the bbq sauce. The sea bass was really good as well. Would I come back? Yes to try the noodles.
Best Thai around the area. Been here many many times.
Best Thai I’v ever had.
Recommend the Salmon, Pad Thai or , Drunken Noodles. And the Fried rice!
Must try the Drunken Noodles
Delicious!!
Ordered from Uber eats last night. Food was actually good. Pad Thai could have had more sauce, but was still good. Pad See Ew was exactly what I expected. Would definitely order from here again.
Waited 45 mins for take out. They made me pay upfront for my food. I will never go back there ever.
Great lunch spot
This place is amazing, and I honestly have to give my highest regards to the best server/waitress I have ever met, Suzanne. This woman was absolutely amazing, not only was she polite and friendly, but was funny too. This girl needs a raise ASAP! I will definitely be coming back and that’s all thanks to Suzanne! Suzanne you are the best thank you so much for the best experience ever!
This is one of our favorite Thai restaurants. The food is pretty good. Not very fancy, but the food is great. (Except for the lemonade dont get it) Staff is ok, not exceptional and warm but more on the professional side, which us fine. Prices are same when compared to other restaurants. Drunken noodles and ginger chicken with mushrooms are what we usually get.
Nice quiet and food was excellent
Good asian food.
I love the Drunken Noodles and my kids love the Chicken Fried Rice. They have gluten free options as well
Our go to celebratory spot.
Good food and pleasant atmosphere.
Fast service, yummy food, great prices for lunch
Nice BYOB thai restaurant. The apps are great!
I love Thai food, and this was the closest Thai restaurant to my house while I lived in Westfield. Do I need to say any more?
It is a great and inviting place to enjoy consistently great tasting food at a decent price. The lunch specials are very reasonably priced. The duck meals are simply delicious. But most importantly, the staff there are quite nice and attentive there.
Great food and entertainment
Great atmosphere, prompt service at reasonable price.
Never had a bad meal there. Shared the tuna and the wild boar stir fry. Both were outstanding. Big restaurant. Service was good. Definitely put it on your restaurant rotation.
We ordered soup and appetizers. In few minutes, when we are ordering main course, waiter notes down order and comebacks telling "entire staff has left, so cannot give food". It was 30 mins yet to close the restaurant.
Good food. Nice ambience. Can't go wrong. Parking may be a bit of an issue though...
