Weeks ago, I was craving one of their decadent soups but was farther away so I ordered something similar at the Thai restaurant in Kinnelon but it just didn’t taste the same. Theirs was overly seasoned and I couldn’t finish it-waste of money. Now that I’m in the area I made sure to make time to come back to West Milford Thai and I ordered my favorite dishes, one being this soup, and it was superb! It really hit the spot, so satisfying! And what an incredibly peaceful view!!!!

This is the best food around. The owners are absolutely amazing. The food is meticulously made fresh every plate. I would give this place a 10 star review! They serve the best Thai food hands down and I’ve tried many places around here none compare to what West Milford Thai food serves! 10/10

Amazing surprise to find this place! The food is amazing and very fresh great prices! Tried once a Thai restaurant in Bloomingdale and I was disappointed but now this restaurant nested in west Milford is the real thing I enjoyed the chef special “Spicy Duck Curry “ I was happy very tastefully the flavors of the Curry amazing 😋 my Wife had the Pad Thai and also very fresh and Delicious definitely will be back 🙏

There are not many good options in West Milford, but even if there were this place would be worth going. Everything is good from the apps to the dessert (mango sticky rice). Love their pad ginger and their curries. And can't forget the Thai tea and Thai coffee. They were super empty on a Monday and the server was great as well.

When I walked in to an entirely EMPTY restaurant, I was told that there were ONLY 2 tables that I could sit in because every other table was RESERVED. I watched 6 guests come in after my husband and I, and not one of them had a reservation nor were they told that they could not sit in any of the “reserved seats.” I felt because I was not from town nor did I “look” like everyone else, I was treated differently! I AM NOT ONLY APPALLED BY this behavior but disgusted by the fact that restaurants owners still do this in small towns! I will tell anyone and everyone not to support this type of business and not condone this prejudice ! It is not appropriate in this day and age !!!!

Definitely my favorite thai food in the area! Definitely missing them while they are relocating. Their pad kee mao is the best. Generous portions. I'm gluten free and they have GF noodle options and I never have a problem.

Can’t talk for the service or atmosphere as I ordered take out. The food was fresh and delicious. The Thai tea tasted like melted ice cream, so good.

I have always enjoyed food here but this is the second time i’ve had a bad experience. The first time they gave my order to somebody else and were very rude making it seem i called into the wrong place when they didn’t put my name on the order and messed up. I then waited 40 minutes for food I called in advance. Than today the hostess again was extremely rude entered my name incorrect on the order making it seem as if I was lying about the order I placed. food took forever and once i finally got my food i said thank you and she just gave a dirty look. i will never return to this place hostess is horribly rude and needs an attitude check.

I am too spoiled by New York City and San Francisco Thai restaurants. The food was missing the special Thai flavors I am used to from the Tom Yum soup to the Panang Curry to the Thai Iced Tea. I can not recommend it, unfortunately.

Being that I’m from Florida and none of the Thai restaurants that I’ve previously visited have ever asked me for a reservation I was a bit annoyed to be greeted with a “Do you have a reservation?” And it was said with an attitude. The place is not even an expensive 1 star Michelin, expensive restaurant filled with rich people. It’s what I would call a regular Thai restaurant. Heck, McDonalds has better customer service and that says a lot! Whom appeared to be the owner, didn’t make us feel any welcomed with her whole speech as to why we needed a reservation. It was rude and annoying. She simply could have said, “Welcome. Do you have a reservation? Oh!, You don’t have one? No worries. Today we are short staffed and we have a lot of online orders coming in. There will be a 15-20 minute wait time. Do you mind waiting? Awesome! I can sit you all down and at least get your drinks and some appetizers while you wait. Where are you folks coming from so well dressed? Nice! Welcome to my restaurant. If you folks can patiently wait, I will make your visit worthwhile with a delicious banana dessert towards the end.” Now, that’s how you treat your customers! You don’t lecture them as to why they should have made a reservation. It’s rude, but then again, it’s New Jersey. You can’t expect the best from NJ people. It’s how they are. Rude! Now, besides the bad customer service, the food was indeed amazing. The Chicken Pad Thai and the Tom Kha Gai were super delicious and everything else that my family ordered was super yummy. So, overall, I’m going to give this place a 3 start for lack of good customer service. Sadly, I will definitely not come back to this place even if the food was amazing. I simply can’t stand places that lack good customer service. I’ve been to places where the food was not what I expected, but their customer service was amazing and that’s what moves me to give 5 stars. So, I hope this place can get their act together and work on their customer service. Oh! And I almost forgot. The area where we were seated was next to the cashier. We didn’t need to hear how their online ordering system was not working and how the power outage from the night before caused issues. If she could have sat us somewhere else, all of this could have been avoided. Again, poor customer service.

Best pad Thai I’ve ever had! And super clean with good service!

This is our favorite place to order take out in town. Molly the owner is very nice and knows my order by memory. The food is always consistently great! I love that they cater to Vegan/Vegetarians as well. Our go to dishes are Pad Thai w chicken & broccoli and vegan Spicy eggplant w mixed vegetables & tofu! The fried bananas are super yummy as well! You can’t go wrong with this place!

Ordered takeout from West Milford Thai tonight and couldn’t be more impressed. The Tom Kha soup was so flavorful and delicious, as was everything else we ordered. Living in tuxedo we are in a bit of a food desert but this is close enough to make the quick drive. Highly recommend!

This is a little hidden gem in West Milford. Food is delicious and the staff are great. If you plan to go, best to make reservations so they can prepare. All the food is great, but your first time having Thai, start with the Wings for an Appetizer and Chicken Pad Thai for main course. (Note it has peanuts.) And for dessert, if you like mangos, try the Mangos and Sticky rice. I got my wife hooked on this.

I visited the West Milford Thai restaurant for the first time while in the area. The service and food were excellent. The Thai curry chicken was incredibly delicious. Molly, the owner, was extremely hospitable. I look forward to returning to try more of the chef's specials on the menu.

My favorite place to get takeout from in town. Never disappointed. Can’t speak on the dine in experience since I only ever do takeout. The drunken noodles/pad kee mao , Tom kha soup and curry puffs are my favorite things to get. You end up spending around $20 for an entree and appetizer or soup

West Milford Thai consistently prepares delicious food from apps to soups and main dishes. Customer service above and beyond. Jasmine took the time to explain and suggest multiple dishes. Thai spring rolls and Sweet Chili wings were a hit. We enjoyed Rad Nar and pad Se Ew with Crispy Duck. Easily shared this among 4 people. Highly recommend.

This review reflects my second visit. My husband and I sat for an hour and a half. We will never return.
When we sat, there were 3-4 small tables at varying levels of meal completion. There were clearly two servers at that time though another joined the rotation later on. We sat for an hour and a half- no drink refresh or refill, two appetizers received after 30 minutes, and eventually had to ask for our entrees to go (which then took 30 minutes to even come out once we asked for them to go) because we had been there so long and had something to take care of at home that was time-sensitive.

They hosted our party of 40, and everyone was happy with the food and service. The two staff members (one of them named Eleven, and the other I'm so sorry I didn't get her name, but she was busy making everyone in our private party comfortable and happy) were friendly, hardworking, and had a smile despite how busy everything was. Not sure what happened but my boyfriend and I dined in here tonight (4/8/2023) off the recommendation of some friends… it took 2.5 hours to get our food with only 2 other tables. A couple of people who came to pick up their food had to wait in the front a REALLY long time and they kept telling someone who called to check on their delivery that it had left yet .. when it in fact had not. The staff kept going back and forth with each other in the kitchen and that’s all we could hear .. and our waitress was nice but I think on mushrooms? She was spacey and was wearing pink sunglasses, had an AirPod in her ear and kept singing and dancing around the place. Wouldn’t come back just based on the service. Food was ok

Been ordering from here for a while now and they never disappoint. I got the pan seared salmon and the chicken fried rice tonight and was very happy with everything. The salmon comes in a bath of what I assume was the garlic pepper sauce(which unfortunately was light on the garlic flavor)and green beans. Green beans were a bit firm but had nice flavor and salmon was cooked perfectly. The chicken fried rice is my go to here and is always great, no complaints on that. A bit pricey but I dont care, great food.

Delicious and always so fresh! Crab Rangoons are amazing! Our favs are Spicy Cashew Nut, Massaman Curry and Spicy Fried Rice. Thai iced tea is perfect sweetness and the delivery is so convenient and super fast. They are always sweet on the phone and accommodating! Love this Thai place :)

I have only had Thai once; it was a place in Wayne that my wife had raved about when we first started dating. She had not been there for some time when we went and gotta tell you we both hated it. We moved to West Milford 6 yrs ago and have been saying we need to try West Milford Thai. Well I was blown away! My wife was blown away. We did take out and my wife picked everything cause I do not know Thai. she stayed with the basics. We are so happy we have another place we can add to our go to or take out routine. We went tonight on a Sunday and they seemed quiet. FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!!!we picked up and had about a 15-20 minute ride home everything was still warm and TASTED GREAT! I can only imagine sitting down at a table and enjoying dinner there. IF YOU NEVER HAVE TRIED WEST MILFORD THAI IT IS A MUST! If you have never had Thai, it is similar to Chinese but different as we did try the basics first and when you enjoy (which I think you will) branch out from there... we ordered Spring rolls, chicken satay, crispy duck salad and shrimp pad thai... THANK YOU WEST MILFORD THAI FOR A GREAT TAKE OUT MEAL! WE WILL BE BACK!

As all the locals know, there isn't a TON of local places to eat at in our town, let alone ones with authentic, fresh, and unique dishes.

Now more than ever these are the shops (and people!) we need to give our business.

I had a recent incident with something I ordered (totally my fault) and they, without hesitation, offered to make it right. These are the people I genuinely enjoy supporting and giving my money.

The drunken noodles, curry, dumplings - you can't go wrong. We're lucky to have a Thai place out here in West Milford, let's make sure they can stick around!

I had a friend visiting from out of town and thought, let’s check this place out.
Wow! Wow! Yum! Yum! Yum! It was authentic Thai. Everything was made fresh to order, all the sauces, everything was so tasty. The lay out of the menu was very nice. The atmosphere was cozy.
We started out with Thai ice tea. As it was served I realized it was made with dairy, bummer for me. My mistake. I asked Molly, the owner if I could switch it out for coconut milk?
She was so accommodating and brought out another one, no problem. Delicious!

We ordered two appetizers, the Fresh Roll w/ peanut sauce & Chive Pancake w/ Spicy sauce.
The presentation of the Fresh Rolls were beautiful. They looked like mini gardens blooming & so fresh.
The chive pancake was made with rice flour,
score! No wheat for me. The chives were sautéed & packed in there with a super subtle favor. Great paired with the spicy sauce.

Ok, now the Entrees. So many great choices I had a hard time choosing. I went for the comfort
of the Pad Thai rice noodles on this cool night. Again, nice presentation, tasty. Yum. It was filling and I was able to take home the rest for lunch tomorrow. Got to love that.

So for my enthusiastic friend...he choose the Beef Noodle Soup. He was thrilled and was enjoying every bite. He also was able to take home for another meal. Yea!

For dessert we split the Sweet Sticky Rice w/ Mango.
The rice was warm, in the shape of a heart coated with sesame seeds & coconut milk/ sauce? The mango texture was just right & sour to balance out the sweet sticky rice.

We were happy and appreciated the passion coming from the kitchen. It was obvious...details from start to finish.

Used to come to this restaurant 10 years ago when it was under a different name. Recently moved up to the area and have been a couple of times and it's still awesome, if not better than it was before. It's very authentic Thai and the service is great as well. Highly recommend!

Deffinatley a favorite in West Milford, and a favorite thai restaurant. BYOB. Enough room to bring a family to eat out. Cute and small but the food is delicious. Singapore noodles with chicken, Masaman Curry with Beef and sticky rice are my favorite dishes! Try the Thai iced tea too!

My wife and I crave this food, whenever we get a chance to get some good takeout while watching all of our kids this is a go-to & must-have decision in our opinion. We live in Ringwood which is not known for its culinary excellence and there are very few options around admittedly.

Thankfully, this restaurant always delivers and I mean in terms of quality and we are never unsatisfied with a meal. Thanks so much for being local!

Love it here! I get Pad Thai from just about every Thai restaurant I go to, and theirs continues to be the best. The staff is friendly and also very accommodating about making sure things are vegan, which is greatly appreciated it.

This place is pretty good! We went for dinner and the server was super friendly. I got the pad see ew with tofu, and though the overall taste was good I think the tofu was a bit undercooked. Everyone else I was with enjoyed their meals, so maybe I'm a bit critical. Overall it was a great experience.

If you're tryna drink alcohol, just keep in mind that it's BYOB only. Cheers!

I have to admit I was reluctant to order since Nick sold to new owners. I just ate there today and the food is still amazing if not more so!! The food is less oily has full flavor and I will remain a life customer. I've been eating Thai food since Nick first started in the middle of town. The new owners know how to cook, I love that west Milford still has a 5 star Thai food restaurant .

My friends and I like good Thai food. Specifically, we love curry, peanuts, and duck. Today I had the Duck Basil and I loved the fact that it was cooked to the point that the skin was crunchy! I can't stand flabby duck skin, and it is the mark of a poor duck-chef when it's soggy and floppy. This was great!

Not very authentic. Food is too sweet. If you like sweet food, it may be a fit for you.

Good food and friendly staff. Make you tell your wait staff that you want your food prepared Thai style to get the true Thai experience

I've gotten take out here two weeks in a row and it was delicious both times! This is definitely my new favorite local spot! Looking forward to dining in shortly.

I’ve been here for dinner several times now. Every dish I’ve had was delicious and fresh - chef is awesome. Cozy atmosphere. It is good to see that it is becoming a very popular spot. It’s a BYOB.

I was so skeptical about trying this thai restaurant. Hubby had his cravings again and so I decided to go. If you dont try it you won't know for sure. Every other one we've gone to in the surrounding areas are far from being Authentic. Our long time favorite place to go is Pan Dam Room in Hackettstown. Didnt want to drive so far. My husband and I are finally at peace and delightedly satisfied now that we've found a real thai restaurant that is somewhat nearby. The only one we haven't tried yet is the one in Warwick,NY. Nice location, great space, appears to be clean, nice decor, kids will love watching the fishes in the fish tank, great atmosphere, friendly staff will make you feel welcomed and want to return again. The taste is superbly authentic ~ real deal! I could taste all the fresh ingredients of the meal. Pad Gra Pow and the spring rolls are excellent! There are so many meal choices to choose from. A big plus for meal portions! We'll be ordering from here again and again and again, food is good mon!
