Visited this place with couple of friends for dinner. Entering this place, it was clean and with beautiful interiors. The staff were friendly with good service for the night. We ordered an appetizer sampler, 3 entrees and one dessert. We had a salmon dish, the vegetable Penang curry, chicken drunken noodles for the main course. The food was flavorful overall. We had the fried banana with coconut ice cream. The dessert was okay and overall a good dinner.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. You can tell from small details like heart shaped jasmine rice that they really put in the effort to make the experience more enjoyable. Tamarind duck and fried tofu appetizer with plum sauce were delicious. Tom yum soup was light and fresh. The stir fry wasn’t what I expected though - a bit too saucy, but still decent.

I live about 23 minutes away from this restaurant but the drive is worth it. The thai tea is perfect, the chef's specialty Salmon Prik Khing on their menu is already my absolute favorite. The fish is so fresh, not dry, and has a nice punch of flavor to it. It goes so well with the white rice.
This place is on the pricier side but the dishes are huge! We each got our own pad thai and didn't even finish it so we brought it home for dinner! The pad thai was moist and had a lot of flavor. It taste different from all the pad thai's I had eaten in my life but it's unique and I like it! Everybody makes their dishes differently and this pad thai had a very unique taste that just pops ! I definitely would go here as my go-to for a nice lunch/dinner out. The restaurant is also clean too compared to other places. And the service is very comfortable. 100% recommended.

We had a great time here! We got two appetizers…the fried wontons & the bbq pork sticks. Both were delicious! My husband got the red curry and I got the garlic and soy sauce noodles. Everything was great and very flavorful. Excited to come back here!

I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu. The tofu could have used a little marinating before cooking but the flavor of the drunken noodles was dynamite with just a hint of spice! I also ordered the crabmeat fried rice...I was a little skeptical about this order as I don't like a lot of seafood but the flavor was absolutely delicious! I also ordered the calamari which was enjoyable as well. I appreciated the well plated presentationof the dishes.

The servers were very pleasant and accommodating as well as attentive! I will definitely be back!

The bathroom was very clean. I gave this 4 stars only because the tile ceiling in the dining area had stained tiles right in the middle of the serving area... Something that I would prefer not to have right where I'm eating. This may not even be there fault if they are renting the spot... But this is an easy fix. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

I wish I could put more stars for atmosphere! I feel like I walked through a portal from outside to inside! This place is stunning, the food is great and reasonably priced! If your in the area grab a bottle of fine wine (BYOB) and grab your date for a wonderful evening. You won’t be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, service and food. We lived in Voorhees 7years ago and this was our favourite restaurant. The food quality and taste is consistent as it was 7years ago.

Amazing Food!

First time coming here and food was delicious! We got the drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice and the flavors were great. Serving size was good too, had leftovers and food was still hot when we picked it up and drove home. Will be back!

First time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered takeout and the food was delicious. I always wanted to try the drunken noodles and I wasn't disappointed. Next time I will be dining in.

About 2 weeks ago we found a piece of plastic string in our food , we brought it to there attention and they said it was a piece of cleaning brush, We love this place so we immediately forgave as they apologized and swore it will never happen again.
Now just yesterday again a long plastic cleaning brush was found and I’m on my way to bring it in to them.

Went here in a date. The food was great. Fried tofu appetizer was awesome, IMHO. The hot basil stir fry and the sweet and sour stir fry were wonderful. Would gladly visit again.

So glad someone recommended this place to my wife and I! It's in a strip mall but the inside is well decorated and very clean. The menu is interesting, with both spicy and non spicy options. We had one of the evening's specials, shrimp dumplings, as well as the Salmon Prik and the Drunken Noodles. All three were excellent. Also ordered the appetizer sampler - good but not up to the high standard of the other dishes. Ended the meal with fried bananas and vanilla ice cream. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We brought our own wine (love BYOB's) and ended the meal well below $100. Go support this place!

I have to leave a review. My husband and I love Lai Thai and have ordered out here multiple times. Each and every time we agree unanimously - BEST WINGS EVER. YES you read that right. If anyone I know is looking for a wing recommendation I refer them to Lai Thai. Flavor preference is a factor, as there is only one option. But oh boy, is it a good one. 5 out of 5 stars on all levels you can rate a wing. First we have the chicken to breading ratio which is CONSISTENTLY on point. Meaty wings with a perfect amount of breading to coat. Next is the juiciness and tender texture. Finally, delicious sauce flavor and toppings. Lai Thai wings with the sweet red and green peppers, sweet Thai basil and cashews on top is *chef’s kiss* perfection. Consistency is the key word here. This menu item has not changed since we started ordering.

Other menu items are equally consistent and delicious. Our go to items include Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao for entrees, potato curry puffs and a couple of delightful Thai iced teas.

The ONLY, small, minuscule reason my review is not currently 5 stars is because Lai Thai will consistently omit or mistake something in our order (thankfully never the wings). IMPORTANT TO NOTE we have never called them back or made return trips to rectify. I am sure given the opportunity they would immediately make it right however we typically power through it, never delaying our quest to satisfy our hunger. Employees I’ve dealt with there are super friendly so I’m sure it would not be an issue if we were to ever bring it up.

Have been eating at Lai Thai for many years. Its seriously one of my favorite go to restaurants. Casual dress with a nice environment. Food is always on point, service is excellent very attentive on top of warm and welcoming. Pricing is affordable and BYOB makes it even better. My happy moment....when they serve up a heart shaped side of jasmine rice !

We've eaten here twice now and had take out a few times too. The yellow curry dining in was great, but as take out was bland and a smaller portion size.

We also tried pad Thai and pad see ew dining in and it was phenomenal!

Food is good and tasty. Service is solid. Can't beat the prices. Felt like the food was unhealthy but overall good place to grab quick Thai food to fulfill a craving. I wouldn't go here for special occasions.

Always served with high-quality taste and good presentation. Service is also good. Seems fairly authentic but spice levels are very light by default—definitely insist very hot spice if that’s your thing. If you are looking for USDA organic or GMO free, however, then you are likely out of luck.

Came here for the first time in a coupe years, and our previous favorites - pad thai and pad kee mao - were not as good as we remembered. Both were a bit bland, and the pad thai was rather salty. On the other hand, the Lai Thai wings - something new for us - were outstanding, with great flavors and perfect crunch. So while the noodle dishes were disappointing, we would happily come back for the wings.

Ordered the Panang & gang karee curry’s, as well as a 6pc order of Lai Thai wings. Curry is very watered down.. not a lot of flavor. And I only received 5 of my 6 wings… will not be ordering from here again

Super smug Restaurant. We walked in waited to get seated even with open tables (it was empty) and then we waited to order for another 15 minutes while ppl who got there after us were being served. We got our water filled 3 times before we decided to walk out after we saw 2 other table who got there after us got there food. Over priced for the thia food anyways.

My kids wanted to try something new for dinner, so I suggested Lai Thai. I drive by this place every day and I've ordered delivery a few times, so I knew what to expect, food-wise. We decided not to order delivery, but to dine in, and off we went. The staff were very attentive and of course the food was excellent. The interior was very nice and consequently I felt a little under-dressed. Their prices are really reasonable, too. My kids loved the food and have already insisted on making Lai Thai Cuisine part of our regular rotation.

Stopped in on a whim with my husband while visiting NJ. The Thai Iced Teas were rich and refreshing, the vegetable spring rolls and the calamari were delicious, and our meals were presented beautifully. We loved how our rice was presented in a heart shape. Service was great, fast, and the staff adhered to all protocols during the pandemic. It was a great little find and we’ll be back next time we’re in town!

Really good thai food. Usually get the Pad Thai or Fried Rice. Have been ordering takeout from here since Covid started, and probably do about once a month. Have yet to have a bad dish. Also tried the curry last time, which wasn't for me, but still good.

My wife and I stop to eat lunch at Lai Thai every time we are in the area. We even make excuses to be in the area so we can stop to eat there. The food is very good. The servers there are very good. You feel so relaxed and welcomed as soon as you walk through the door. Very clean. Lai Thai has take out as well.

Was told when I ordered by phone that it would be 35 minutes. But it was 80 minutes! Ridiculous! I sat in my car for 45 minutes there.

Best Thai food I've had in southern NJ, and probably the best in NJ period. I had the drunken noodles, and Pad See Ew. Both were high quality, perfect balance of flavor and texture. I'm not sure about the rest of the menu, but both of those dishes were great I can only imagine they know what they're doing with the rest of the menu.

Very good thai good. Had drunken noodles with chicken...could have been a little spicier...wish they had asked what level I wanted. And chicken satay...nice thin chicken cutlets, no fat and nicely marinated. Would order again

Not exactly what I expected. I have had thai food in thailand 5-6 times and have trouble finding decent thai food. The green curry was missing something and a bit watery for my liking, the fried rice was so-so. My wife ordered the garlic and pepper squid and enjoyed it very much. Overall not terrible, but every other place I have been to in the area has more authentic thai food, including bahn thai.

They charged an additional$6 for 2 shrimp. The portion size was a meal for a child. A topas serving is more food than they delivered. The food was too oily & too saltly. Order from this establishment at your own risk.

We ordered takeout from Lao Thai Cuisine. Pad Thai was so so, it was somewhat overcooked. From the Seafood dish that we ordered only shrimp and scallops were okay, the rest was overcooked and was rubber-like. The delivery was $30 more expensive (for 3 meals) than picking up the food ourselves, which is ridiculous.

This place is absolutely amazing! They have amazing service, fantastic and authentic Thai cuisine and are super friendly and fast. I enjoy my meal every time we visit! Thanks for the amazing food and service.

The shrimp Pad Thai and Shrimp Cakes were delicious. Definitely get it again. My mom and aunt loved the Tom Kha Gai soup and Pad Woon Sen.

Their lettuce cup appetizer is wonderful and if you like duck, there are several to chose from, all crispy and succulent with various flavors. There is a varied menu with seafood, chicken and beef. The wait staff was very on top of their game, refilling water nearly every couple of sips that I'm not exactly sure how much water I drank other than a decent amount. We ordered a calamari appetizer and it came out hot and fresh, but the pieces were slightly bigger than my mouth and biting a piece didn't work out too well, but it tasted pretty good. For an entree, ordered pad thai. It had a description of having tofu, but when it came out, it didn't. It tasted good but it felt like it needed something. It came with the usual, peanuts and bean sprouts, but no lime, so had lime brought out too, but still felt like it needed something to the dish.
Anyways, food came out in a timely manner, was very hot, staff was very nice and the restaurant had a nice jazzy rock music going so it was an enjoyable dining atmosphere as well.

Everything I’ve tried from here has been fresh and delicious. Crab fried basil rice, drunken noodles, hot wings, soup, etc. Workers are also very courteous and deliver top notch service.

Great food and atmosphere. Went to visit my sister and brother-in-law and had good experience. I had the Basil Fried Rice with chicken. The food somehow stayed very hot (temperature) the entire time I was sitting there. And there was enough left over for me to take with me.

I enjoyed it. I had the ginger lover lunch with chicken and took home the garlic lover with chicken and a soup with shrimp. The ginger lover was loaded with ginger which I really love. The soup was good but could have been spicier. I also had a spring roll which was nice and crispy.
