Anyone complaining about the kids (they're nice, I used to "work" when I was a kid too!) or hospitality is showing that they are more immature and entitled than the kids they are complaining about. Maybe having a little job when they were a kid would have helped those cry babies grow up a little bit.

This place is amazing. A good variety of things. You can tell they care about their food. Chicken is tender and juicy. The noodles are cooked perfectly. They give such good portions too! Prices are very affordable. I never even write reviews but this place is so good. You cannot find many places like this in the area.

The food was seasoned well

My family and I usually order takeout from here and it’s pretty good, probably one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. We ordered later than usual one night, and picked up about 30 minutes before they closed, my egg foo young gravy was burned and noticeably smelled burned when I opened the container. My fiancé said that his chicken tasted over reheated and not fresh. Very underwhelming..

Food is pretty good. Did not dine in, but so far, is the best in this area. Been there two times. Vert good both times.

Both of the meals we ordered were horrible. Bourbon chicken was super fatty, way too many vegetables and the sauce was just gross. The sweet and sour chicken was like rubber. Rice was super mushy. They charge more than other chinese restaurants too.

Food is good, nothing too special. Don't order from here if you're hungry because you will wait forever! I ordered 2 sushi rolls, a couple pizza rolls, and steamed broccoli. I was quoted 20-30 minutes, showed up 45 minutes after ordering, and ended up waiting 1 1/2 hours. Service is slow and this has been an going issue for years. I ordered from there every few months to see if it has improved but it hasn't at all. I also don't like the fact that they have their young children working the registers. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again.

A traditional takeout or dine in restaurant. The Masalla (sp?) bowl is excellent as is the pricing. These days it seems all other takeout places in general, actually shrank their carryout portion sizes and simultaneously increased their price. Thank you China Cook for sticking with making great food.

I ordered the Dragon & Phoenix from the chef specials section and the mango Thai fried rice. Loved both dishes. The only negative thing is that I waited in the store for 1.5 hours for my food. BUT it was Christmas night and only 2 employees working.

I show up 10min after eta, am told it'll be another 10mins, have waited as long as 30mins.
Very poor at providing close to accurate pickup times, but will say food is good.
Also not a fan that their young children work the front counter.

They have two children behind the counter with nasal discharges. They screwed up some orders. The food is good but not great. When you have visible sickness behind the register, you a 2 as a gift.

Ordinary Chinese takeout. The food was brought to our table in takeout containers, plastic cutlery and paper plates for us to sort out. My Egg Foo Yung wasn't very good. My friend enjoyed her Pad Thai.

Used to be my go-to Chinese spot but in the recent 6 months the food quality has decreased significantly. The chicken has been crunchy the past few times I ordered my regular. Definitely will be giving this place a break for a bit.

I waited over 30 minutes to receive my 14.00 order. And the Habachi meal was bland. I will not order from there again. The restaurant is too expensive, has extended wait times and the food is terrible!

I don’t eat Chinese food regularly, but this was always my go to. Ordered last night and it was awful. The quality of the chicken was almost inedible. The seasoning was off, and even the sweet tea was not the same. I’m not sure what happened there, but I will never return.

Ordered shrimp fried rice and asked to make spicy, multiple time. I was assured it was spicy, but it was anything but. Rice was also half-cooked. Very dissatisfied. Would not return.

Food is good, better quality than most Chinese restaurants. Large portions. Great sushi burritos. Sadly the tempura’s are breaded with panko, not a true tempura. Which is strange because they used to make tempuras the right way.

This place deserves more than a standing ovation after the meal that my wife and I just devoured. I had to pace myself and when I was done I was full which is usually hard to pull off wish a sushi dish for me. The sushi burritos were literally the size of actual restaurant burritos unlike some I've had that are just uncut rolls. I am making this place my only sushi spot from now on. P.s shout out to the restaurant for throwing in 2 free drinks with my order. I would have been fine paying for them.

I love this place! Their sushi is ALWAYS fresh and never have a fishy taste. The rest of the menu is also very good. The family who runs it seem very nice and their prices are very affordable. They didn't up their prices after the pandemic that's a big plus to me! I recommend china cook to anyone.

Update 3/18/22 - 1 Star Docked for very small inconsistencies in things like texture and cooked veggies. Otherwise, still incredibly good. Not a single bad meal on the menu.

but when we visited on 6/23/22 the lady at the front let the 5 year old kids greet us at the door and, then, ZERO SERVICE....so she may just be a racist.

i think when customers come to eat, the person at the front desk says hello and welcomes guests. but the lady running the place was ON HER PHONE and could NOT be bothered.

Had trouble rating this place as I only ordered 2eggs rolls. They came out fast enough and the price was fine. The taste was good. Problem was the amount of oil still in/on them. I actually squeezed them to remove as much as I could. Never seen so much. Not sure what caused that, but it was my only reason for the reduced review.

I used to love the food here. Now that the mother and son are no longer there the food is absolutely HORRIBLE and DISGUSTING. Even down to the home-made ice tea and pineapples are nasty. The chicken used to seem to always be cooked in fresh grease and nice size. Now it's just GROSS. I live near by and used to smell the food all the time now I smell nothing. When I 1st moved out here a few years ago they were just reopening. I see them reclosing in the near future.

Went there months ago and ordered General Tso and it was so good I had to compliment the chef. Went back today 1/18/22 and ordered General Tso and it was not good...it wasn't spicey... sauce was not the same. One piece of broccoli cut in half and the rice was bland. Will not be back. #just when you thought you found a good Chinese restaurant.🤢 they must be under new management.

Listen, China Cook used to be really good. Until the owners sold it. There is now a child at the front desk taking your order (I just checked, its illegal for children under 14 to work at a restaurant), and the quality of the food isn't great. The last couple of times me and my family got food from there, they forgot to give some of the stuff to us.

This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Hands down their food is incredible, portion size is amazing and so is the flavor.

This place used to be great but the last couple of times it’s a real disappointment. The hot and sour soup has changed and instead odd mushroom and roast pork in it you only get tofu and cabbage. The bourbon chicken has so little sauce on it you couldn’t taste it and the same with the pad Thai. No flavor. I won’t be going back.

I love this place, I live about 20+ minutes away and I will drive here whenever I want to eat their food. Their food is that good to me compared to other surrounding restaurants.

This place used to be great! The food was delicious. There is clearly all new people and little girls, or king there. The chicken is poor quality and sauces gross. I asked if the woman, with her 2 little girls are new owners and she said no. But, I don’t believe it. The mother/son that used to run the place haven’t been there the past 3 times. Will not be back!

It was weird. They had their kid take my order. At first I played along and made a “pretend” order as I awaited for the owners to come back. But after 10mins of entertaining the kid, I realized they weren’t coming back. I get that you want to teach the kids young, but she was no more than 9years old. At least don’t leave her unsupervised. It was very unprofessional, in my opinion.

My go to for a healthy meal

I ordered fried chicken wings with vegetable fried rice. The chicken did not taste good at all and the fried rice was very bland for my taste buds. Was not happy at all with my food.

I had to wait a long time and my order was taken wrong (only one thing), but it was also understandable because of how busy and because the one who took my order was a little girl. The staff were quick to fix the mistake with the order and provide an apology. If I could, I'd certainly come back to eat there when Dine-In is allowed.

Best Chinese food in Camden County. Bothibg salty or greasy. Every meal is just right and proportioned.

This place is hands down the best place I’ve ever been to! From their sushi to their soups, apps, main meals. We had a big order for a lot of people last night and everything was amazing. Besides the food being not only the biggest portions but best flavor and quality, it’s so clean, friendly helpful staff, and quick service. Literally so mad I never knew about this place sooner. Seriously if you haven’t been here yet you need to.

Excellent & friendly service. Ordered a California burrito and an order of vegetable lo mein. Everything was very good, the sushi burrito was fantastic! Even got two free drinks! Will definitely visit again soon.

Oh my god. $10 gets you a custom bowl of absolute perfection. The veggies are crisp and perfectly seasoned. The sizeable shrimp was cooked the way it should, meaty, without being gummy or shriveled like most chinese take out. Lets talk about how 1 bowl can feed about 3 people!

Huge portions and so tasty!!! We stopped here for a Poke bowl and wound up getting the Pad Thai! Super flavorful and FULL of shrimp and veggies! Made perfectly!

Had fried wings which were good. Also had pan fried dumplings which were horrible. They tasted like steamed dumplings that were fried afterwards. Horrible. Called to tell them about my experience and the young man who has always been polite shocked me when he hung up on me. Needless to say I will not be returning.

First off they have the best pan fried dumplings. Sushi bowls/burritos are amazing. They do a great byo dry pot. The Thai salmons are my favorite dishes. Chinese, Japanese, and Thai foods!
