Love that they customize spicy level. Can get it spicier ❤️. Also plenty of vegetarian options. Delicious Pad Thai, masaman curry, and gai rad prik (crispy chicken). Not pictured, because we ate them so much, but curry puffs are also delicious.

Casual dining with really good food, good service, we ordered Tom Yum Goong, Siracha fried rice, and flat noodles Pad Key Mao.. everything was delicious and authentic.
We ended our meal with their homemade sticky rice pudding with fresh mangoes 🥭

Have been to this quite few times as it was one of our go to lunch spot. Their red curry, pad thai are pretty good. Tom yum soup is absolute delight. I do like to get their Thai iced tea.

The place is very small from inside only few tables no outside seating, they are BYOB, the food was average, it took long time to finish the order for the whole table, food was very average, not much flavor, only 2 people running around trying to serve the customer’s inside and pack the pick up and delivery orders at the same time.

My husband and I eat here faithfully every week. The food is incredible, full of flavor and the ingredients are so fresh. The people here are so friendly and provide such great service. I really want to keep it our secret but you have to try it!

chicken pad see ew, siam rolls, and calamari were delicious. two appetizers and one main was enough to split between three people. thai tea was also delish! overall absofruitly busting❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m so disappointed with this place. I ordered two different lunch specials TODAY one without tofu and one with. The lady with the blond hair repeated back the order as I reminded her that I wanted crispy tofu with my stir fry and no tofu with my rice. When she brought out the food I noticed no tofu on the stir fry and immediately called her over. She was ready to make an entirely new dish but I said no just bring out the crispy tofu which she did. When the check came she charged me for the tofu when it’s supposed to come with MY meal. Then she told me that veggies OR the tofu comes with it and I said yes I know so that’s why I asked for tofu for one dish and veggies for the other. Long story short she DID NOT TAKE OFF THE CHARGE and proceeded to say “you don’t have to leave a tip” I’m in complete shock and very disappointed. I’ll never spend another penny here! Bad business and horrible customer service!

Every dish I've had so far at Ridge Thai has been exceptional, most notably their curries, but their pad thai and assorted appetizers are delicious as well. The staff is friendly and the kitchen works quickly, so when your food arrives it's fresh and hot. Great location right across from the Chestnut lot, with some street parking in front, too. Reasonably priced and well worth a try if you enjoy Thai.

Ridge Thai has good lunch special prices and very good food. Ning and her family are pleasant and friendly. Quick service whether you choose take out (usually ready in 20 min or less) or to dine in. Get the thai iced tea here, it's some of the best you'll find.

Food is so so so SO good. Have never had better Thai food in my entire life. I have actually tried so many Thai places and not one has been as good as Ridge Thai. I introduce almost all my friends to this place and they all agree with me and then go again with their own family/friends. The food always tastes fresh and the rice noodles are the best I’ve ever had. LOVE it here.

If your looking for authentic style Thai food, this is the place to come! My husband and I came here for dinner and have subsequently ordered multiple takeaways from Ridge Thai. Food is very authentic compared to our trips to Koh Samui which we loved.
The food is not enhanced or adapted to western which i personally LOVED! I absolutely love the Panang Curry and the Tom Yum Vegetable Soup!
Like most places in Ridgewood/HoHoKus it is a BYOB but they do have Thai Ice Teas and come canned drinks.
The restaurant inside is quite small and can get noisy, but def worth the wait!
I have multiple intolerances and the restaurant were really accommodating and helpful during my meal as everything is cooked super fresh (no pre-made sauces) which i love! We will be back time and time again

Decent food, not so nice employees

What an incredible surprise. I had prior dinner plans get cancelled and so this was something I found on the fly and it definitely did not disappoint.

We got the beef pad sew, chicken yellow curry and the fried red snapper with sweet & sour chili sauce and it was phenomenal.

The restaurant staff was fantastic - working between their continuous stream of take out and their dine in customers - made notes of allergies, and was super attentive to anything we needed.

Would highly recommend to others to try.

I’m so DISAPPOINTED in this place! I ordered 2x before vegetarian dishes I asked to make VEGAN as in NO FISH SAUCE, OYSTER SAUCE OR EGGS and was told sure they could accommodate. Last Friday I came for lunch and asked if they did a vegan pad thai and immediately the so called waitress said “yes it’s vegan no fish sauce we don’t use it in the noodles “ I said wow that’s great because NO OTHER THAI PLACE WILL MAKE VEGAN PAD THAI FOR ME. Moving forward I ordered and was comfortable that she knew what she was doing and understood that I’m vegan. I went in today and saw a different girl/waitress and asked for the same dish explaining that I had gotten it on Fri and surprised that it was vegan. She looked confused and quickly responded that the pad Thai can’t be made vegan because the sauce is pre made with fish sauce. 🤬 I said well your worker lied to me then but why would she do that??? Another person came out to apologize and also said yes the pad Thai can’t be made vegan I’m so sorry. This is so careless of this place to make such a huge mistake like that OMG! It’s 2023 learn and understand what VEGAN MEANS VS VEGETARIAN

Pad Thai is probably the best dish here. I would not recommend adding beef to any of your orders, the beef in my order was just like rubber.

The taste was on point. We had the wonton soup and fried calamari as starters. They were so delicious and fresh. We both had Pad Thai, also delicious and a full serving. And of course, could not stop ourselves from ordering the Thai Iced tea, which at first sip knew we were at the right place. The service was incredible so attentive. We were not just another customer, we were made to feel a valuable client. Thank you Ridge Thai!

Came on a whim while passing through town and having been dreaming of their food ever since. Their chicken is perfectly cooked and generous portions. I will be stocking up the next time I have an opportunity to be in Ridgewood

The best Thai food in NJ/NYC area. Yes…better than any restaurant in Manhattan. Beats Thai Villa and Tao Restaurants in Manhattan. The food is colorful, presented beautifully, and ALWAYS tastes great. We’ve been here a few times already and the food always tastes perfect. The service is also great. The waiters are quick and the food comes out quick and hot. Every time i come here, I think to myself… that was a delicious meal. Food is fairly priced. Will always be coming here for Thai food.

I was worried that the atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit out of place, but the food was really delicious. From appetizers to mains, everything I ordered was delicious, and I plan to go back again.

I've been here several times and always ordered the green curry with chicken, which is consistently good and very spicy. Wife gets Pad Thai everytime and also enjoys it. The service is quick, friendly, and they support contactless payments.

Picked up dinner here after a long hiatus and so glad we did! Forgot just how good everything is here! Got the Beef Pad See Ew, Red Curry with Shrimp, and Thai Dumplings. It was all delicious - and made for a great birthday dinner. Thanks Ridge Thai!

This is my go to Thai restaurant in Ridgewood. Authentic Thai food in NJ is welcomed. They even have decent dishes beyond the standard red and green curries. The prices are very reasonable considering the area. They are a life saver during covid.

Love Ridge Thai! I always get the veg pad thai with pineapple (additional $3), it's my favorite. Their food is always hot and fresh. I usually get to-go for lunch with coworkers and had dinner there twice.

No Flavor, Old Rice, That is not Fried Tofu

I have lived in Ridgewood 25 years and have tried many of the several dozen restaurants in town. I have visited Thailand and am aware that our version of international food is Americanized. However Ridge Thai failed me at every mark. Soups were bland and tasteless. Vegetables were bathed in a broth even though it clearly stated they were fried. Pineapple was acidy in both the duck and chicken dishes. Finally the Jasmine and Thai Fried Rice was stale and tasteless. It was such a bad culinary experience I will not ever repeat it again.

Solid find. My friend brought me here and I was happy with the choice. Everything we ordered was good. From the dumplings to the fried rice to the pad Thai they did it all well. The service was also very friendly, and the prices were very good. All in all, a good place that I’d definitely recommend.

Was decent. Great green curry, but the pad thai chicken was a little too sweet. However, the food was good overall.

Had one of the top 2 red Thai style spicy curries of my life. It was a big portion and the service was very prompt and accommodating to our party of 8. We stay a bit past closing and got no upset look from the staff. A flash of the lights and we we're out of there! (Sorry we stayed so late!) Not one person complained about the food.

My go to BYOB thai place in Ridgewood. Tiny hole in the wall place and parking can be a challenge...however the food is delicious and worth it. Best pad thai in the area.
