Thai family-owned/operated fast-casual eatery, Spice Thai Bistro welcomes you to our table as your extended Thai family. Whether you crave spicy, sweet, sour, or savory, we hope you join us to experience an exciting taste of beautiful Thailand.
Absolutely incredible experience! The Massaman curry was perfectly balanced, rich, and flavorful—smooth, with just the right amount of spice. The tender steamed tofu and fragrant potatoes made each bite a delight. The Pad Thai was a total standout as well—tangy, savory, with the perfect combination of textures. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and every bite was an explosion of flavor that never got old. Everything came together so beautifully, it felt like a true taste of Thailand. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic, mouthwatering Thai food!
A wonderful hole in the wall Thai restaurant. Deliciously prepared with fresh rice noodles which are hard to come by added to the complexity of my Drunken Noodles! The Tom Yum with chicken was seasoned with just the right amount spicy kick. One of the best Thai experiences I've ever had so far.
We had a pre-Basie show dinner here. That was our mistake; our expectations were too high. This place is clearly just really for take-out -- in person it's a very small dine-in section, plastic water/wine cups, DoorDash drivers constantly in/out. The server worked very hard, but her primary job seemed to take care of the take-out orders. I had spicy stir fried veggies with chicken. I truly believe they forgot to add any spice, it was so plain..... it was plain chicken strips, over lots of onions with a few green pepper slices.
Little spot that packs some big flavors. I went with my girlfriend and we started off with a curry with pita that was delicious, the pita was warm and fluffy. I forget the name of my dish but had sauteed vegetables with pineapple and was very flavorful. Best of all was they had an imitation duck option! Perfect for anyone avoiding meat. Would definitely go back.
This duck salad is sublime! The full flavor in the back of my tong after each bites!
The coconut soup before was great too. Just a tad bit on the sweet side for my taste, but oh-so flavorful!
Cute, cozy, with the coolest 70s music in the background. Eating solo here is an actual treat, with the friendliest waitress with the biggest smile!
Don’t miss this place!
I haven’t been here in person but it is my #1 spot to order from on Uber Eats. The food is INCREDIBLE and most importantly consistent! Fresh and delicious! Had to leave a review because this is a business that deserves 5 stars. Looking forward to dining in person soon.
A Journey of Mindful Eating
“Spice and sweet in perfect blend,
A quiet peace, the journey’s end.
In each dish, the truth is found,
In balance, all things come around.”
In the practice of life, there is balance. In the practice of eating, there is also balance. This humble Thai restaurant offers food that speaks to the heart, reminding us that true nourishment comes not only from the body but from the spirit. Each dish is a reflection of harmony, where flavors meet with no conflict, just peace.
The cashew chicken is a beautiful example of balance—tenderness and crispness, warmth and flavor. The sauce is deep and grounding, while the cashews offer a gentle crunch, reminding us that the simplest of ingredients, when combined with mindfulness, bring joy and fulfillment. The drunken noodles, bold yet comforting, teach us that strength and serenity are not opposing forces but are united within each moment.
The green curry, with its soothing spice, reveals the truth that opposites exist not to create division but to coexist harmoniously. The massaman curry, rich and warm, reminds us of the gentle power of simplicity and patience in the kitchen, as in life.
The sweetness of mango sticky rice is like the sweetness of a peaceful heart, while the Thai iced tea brings coolness and clarity. Through this food, we learn that true contentment comes from presence—the art of tasting, reflecting, and being mindful in each moment.

Ordered take out and everything was delicious. Staff is friendly. Can’t wait to have it again!

Drunken shrimp noodles are the best here! Such friendly staff and love getting take out here :)

Love it here. Friendly staff and good food.
Friends, I just tried the food and it is delicious, it is, if not, the best I have ever tried in all of Red Bank and the customer service is the best. My experience and stay in the USA could not be better. I recommend it to you.
Stunning food.
Great service.
Lovely people.
They can get busy and a little chaotic at times, but if “I want my food now” is your most important criteria, you may want to re evaluate your view on what quality is.
Best authentic thai food ever and we tried alot of places in this area. Very flavorful. Tom yum soup was excellent. This will be a regular for us
Outstanding food. Service great. Small eat-in area, “quaint” (we enjoyed watch the
Parking Enforcement chase cars from the loading zone on Monmouth Street). And a must for take out.
The best Thai food I have ever eaten, especially the basil 🌿 shrimp 🍤 fried rice 🍚 it’s delicious 🤤
Excellent snapper with tamarind sauce and salmon with honey ginger. We ordered also spring rolls and tom ka (coconut soup. For dessert we had mango and sticky rice. Everything was perfect. Reminded us of our dining in Bangkok restaurants!
Fantastic Thai food first time trying it
Easily the best Thai food in Red Bank (no shade to Muang Thai). The food is DELICIOUS, always super yummy with generous portions and a good amount of protein in every order. The lunch specials come with a salad AND a spring roll, it's excellent. I probably order from here way more often than I should, but it's worth it!
Delicious, affordable food not at exorbitant prices. Excellent customer service. Sigal was my server and she is fantastic. She also has an awesome name ! 😊 I've tried many places in Red Bank and so far this is the only place I would return. I ordered Roti with sauce, fish cakes, and sticky rice with coconut . 10/10. They are very quick and I would certainly recommend to others.
Great spot! Have only ever done take out here, but food had been consistently delicious.
Delicious food-the best peanut sauce we've ever had! And the owners are so friendly. Wonderful dining experience.
We DoorDash from here regularly. Have had multiple dishes. Perfect balance of spice and heat. Our go too place for a consistently good meal
They use a tremendous amount of MSG and will lie and say they do not but if you are sensitive you will immediately feel a migraine come on. Avoid at all costs.
Curry Puffs are delicate, perfectly spiced, and flaky as hell! Follow it up with the creamy Tom ka soup and you will not be disappointed. Perfect for the cold weather.
When Rice Box closed I legitimately thought I would be sad forever. But then Spice Thai Bistro came along to heal my broken heart and fill my belly and soul with the best Thai food in NJ. Despite the small location, they pack big flavor into each dish. The Pad Thai and the grilled pork skewers are my personal favorites. The staff are all absolutely wonderful. Seeing Eddie is usually the highlight of my day! This might just be my favorite restaurant of all time, and a big part of that is because it's so evident that every dish is made thoughtfully with love and care every single time.
Best Asian food around.
Excellent Thai food at a reasonable price.
I've been terribly disappointed with Thai food in this part of New Jersey. Plenty of Thai restaurants but either the flavors are off, the food tastes old, the fish tastes fishy (not in a good way)...
Not so with Spice Thai. This is the first time I tried them. Tom Yum was great, spicy the way I like it but maybe a touch sweet. Papaya salad was nice and crisp. I ordered the Red Snapper Gra Pao (Thai Basil- 'spicy') from the Duck & Fish menu- excellent! Thick fillet smothered in spicy sauce and vegetables. Fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Spice level was perfect for me which might be a bit too much for others. My wife and daughter really enjoyed their dishes too. My wife who avoids spice ordered the Pra Ram 'not spicy' and loved it. My daughter enjoyed the Pad Thai mildly spicey with mock duck and extra vegetables. The point here is that this restaurant offers 6 different spice levels and so can satisfy the taste of anyone who likes Thai food. The restaurant is small but looks inviting. We did takeout this time but next time maybe we'll eat there.
The only downside was that I picked up the food alone and had to find parking in the muni lot on a Saturday night. Not easy to find a spot so people are driving desperately to find one and going a little too fast... be careful walking back with your order. I hour minimum and you have to pay a buck. The restaurant is by a no parking zone on Monmouth St. so if picking up, I recommend 2 people go- one to drive and one to go into the restaurant and get the food.
The Pad Thai was awful. Thin rice noodles with a tiny bit of peanut powder and not a vegetable in sight other than 2 brown pieces of scallion. Very few small shrimp. I can't speak to the rest of the menu.
We wanted to check them out after seeing so many positive reviews online. We were not disappointed! It’s great to finally have more high quality & diverse food options in the area.
Thai at its best. I had the drunken noodles and requested it with half chicken and half veggies. “No problem!” It was fantastic. The best I’ve had in the area. Definitely 5 for food and service! I gave it a five for atmosphere, but it’s more like a 4.7. it’s small so there’s not much to it. But I do like the orchids on the ceiling.
The spiciest Pad Thai I’ve ever had in the best way possible. My new go-to!
Food and service were excellent small restaurant with limited seating
Worst Pad Thai I’ve had, no bran sprouts to be seen or anything besides noodles and dried chicken, just tasted like fish sauce. . My husband likes his dish but he had never had it before so nothing to compare it to.
Unassuming storefront location but puts all other Thai restaraunts in town and surrounding area to shame. Had drunken noodles with shrimp. First of all the portion was huge but more importantly the noodles were cooked to perfection with a nice char that is an important part of the dish but you rarely get anywhere. Also love the mussamum curry as well. Food is off the charts here.
Ordered takeout from here several times and is consistently fresh and delicious. My go-to for that food
First time ordering pick up. The spring rolls were delicious. Not greasy and the sauce was really good. The curry puffs were fantastic. I figured they’d be spicy but they were a touch sweet and really flavorful. The pad Thai wasn’t dry and had good flavor as well. The pineapple fried rice wasn’t dry either and the pineapple was grilled. Thai iced tea was great. Honestly impressed.
Small place with few tables. The food is good, reasonably priced with good service. BYO.
I've been looking for a new Thai place and Spice Thai Bistro fits the bill. My curry dish was delicious and their prices are fair and reasonable, unlike some of their neighbors.
Finally found great Thai food in the area! Drunken noodles and pad Thai were delicious. The spring rolls came crispy. My husband also raved about the peanut sauce.
If you are planning to dine in, this place is very small. Otherwise the food is good. Great for a takeout. Ambience is something to be desired. Parking will be a problem on weekends.
Best Thai food we’ve had since moving back to Jersey! The green curry and massaman curry were delightful and the curry puffs were fantastic! The pad Thai was a little dry but still very good. Will certainly be back, so excited to have good Thai food near us again!
Best thai in red bank by a long shot and the lunch cannot be beat
So good!! Fresh, consistent, and flavorful!
Pad Thai som tum salad and red curry were all amazing great flavor and the place was so nice
Spiced Thai is my new absolutel favorite! This establishment is impeccable and service outstanding. I ordered a lunch special. So fresh and the flavor amazing. I will certainly be back.
The drunken noodles were fantastic as well as the salad that was delicious! I completely recommend!
So happy that Spice Thai Bistro is open! This place is the perfect spot for casual Thai takeout, delivery, or a quick meal in. Great quality proteins and veggies. The owners are also lovely people I am happy to support.
Authentic, Delicious, Outstanding
Had the drunken noodles with chicken and also shrimp green curry. This place is the real deal.
Great addition to Red Bank! We stopped in during a walk to check out the new restaurant and take look at the menu late on a Sunday night. We congratulated the owner Eddy for opening, and said we'd stop back soon for dinner. After a few laughs he said "We have an extra to go order that just came out of Drunken Noodles w/ Shrimp and Penang Curry w/ Chicken. Please take it for free, and if you love it please come back!" We felt like the luckiest kids in the world at that moment, and we were very appreciative of the gesture. I travelled to Thailand 10 years ago, and both meals were delicious and authentic. Looking forward to heading back for a proper sit down meal to try more of the menu. Thanks again Eddy and see you soon!
Normally go to a sit-down place in Old Bridge, but was looking for something closer to home. This hit the spot. Way more relaxed/informal, but excellent food. Very accommodating, too.
have been excited to try this place and finally got around to ordering take out. the food was ready so quickly and the staff was very friendly. all of the food was very flavorful and i had a ton of options, even being vegetarian. we will definitely be back for more!
Got our two usuals green curry and pad kee mao. Both were incredible and especially liked the green curry, definitely the best we’ve had in town.
Also had the pork skewer appetizer. Our absolute favorite food ever is the moo ping at our old Thai spot in Chicago. We will try it wherever we go if it is on the menu and are usually disappointed, but not this time. This was the closest we have had to the probably unattainable pedestal we put that on. Highly recommend.
Absolutely love their Thai food & very reasonable!! They really know how to make it authentic and very flavorful food. What I am amazed is how their vegetarian food has very flavorful vegetables & they don't go stingy with veg. Most Thai restaurants in RB I feel like they put decorative vegetables if you tell them vegetarian with a handful of broccoli stalks with no flavor & very oily. Super friendly staff. They are a big hit in our house.
Delicious Thai food! The pad see ew, chicken satay, and papaya salad were fantastic.
Amazing food and great price. Way more authentic than any other place in the area I’ve tried. Tom yum soup was spot on, roti was surprisingly good. Papaya salad was legit, not the bogus stuff you normally get at thai places around here. Had The Jungle for a main. Really large portion with good proportions of meat, veggies and sauce. Spice level was good - they actually made it very spicy when I asked for it. Overall a great experience and we are very happy we now have a good thai restaurant to go to here. BYOB
Awsome food for reasonable price
My new go to place, absolutely cannot beat the lunch specials. The quality of the food and the price is the best in red bank and I’ve been to almost all of the thai places around here
Quality food and experience. I’ve loved everything I’ve tried so far and really recommend any of their Mock Duck or Crispy Duck entries. And do not leave without trying their Thai iced tea! So happy to have a place like this in Red Bank again :)
Thank God—a Solid Pad Thai in the area that doesn’t dry out as take out! And has curry puffs ! Rating this in hopes it stays open! Lol!
Thai food is my favorite and it’s hard to find a really good place. Everything was excellent ! Highly recommend. Can’t wait to order again.
Ordered take out for the first time tonight and happy to say Red Bank has good Thai food again! It has been hard to find authentic Thai since Siam Garden closed, but this place meets the mark. Had my usual Panang & drunken noodles. 10/10, excited to make this place a weekly spot! Best of luck to them.
