This will always be my favorite Thai restaurant. There is very limited seating and no bathroom, but the food is so good. I’d probably recommend getting delivery/take out for these reason - definitely don’t come with a BIG party because it’s so small inside.

The mango sticky rice is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had and all of the dishes were great. My only suggestion is that the noodle dishes had a lot of meat, I would’ve preferred a more even ratio and noodles and meat. But the food here is amazing!

This place is great! food is very authentic and delicious. One of the better Thai restaurants I have been to. Prices are normal, and everything is absolutely delicious! You can also control the spiciness level in most of the dishes (just ask for it to be less/more spicy). I Definitely recommend this place! They have been closed for a while due to COVID-19 but are open now. They are super clean and careful with the whole situations. Support local restaurants!!

Terrible presentation, no taste, lacking ingredients they state in the menu. I am a bit in shock how much this food is inedible and awful. Just fyi - pad Thai is according to this restaurant just noodles with tomato sauce and chicken.

Amazing service and great food! I love their lychee Thai ice tea and the pad Thai lunch combo is delicious! It comes with a salad and appetizer with lots of different options to choose from. I tried the shumai and pork gyoza, both very good! Super friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We found this amazing spot by mistake and so happy we did.. the food is always delicious and fresh and the owner is the nicest person, she’s always welcoming and accommodating. As a vegan the owner always ensures that my meals are just that.. vegan! After only the second visit she recognized us and made us feel like friends. I would recommend Chok Dee Thai to anyone looking for a casual yet delicious dining experience.

Fantastic food, even better service! Got the pad Thai, pad see ew, and boat noodle soup and they were all delicious with huge portions. Also got Thai iced tea which was the perfect ratio of sugar to tea which is rare (usually gets too sweet for me.) But what really stood out was how the lady helping me pick up my order was more than willing to help me carry my order out and even refused to accept a tip since we were only ordering take out! This mom and pop shop is a gem in the neighborhood and we will be sure to come again whenever we're back in the area.

No I'm going to this place for thai food

Worst Thai place I've ever tried nationwide, absolutely substandard on every dish. We ordered 5 dishes for 4 people and neither of us could eat more than a couple bites. Tastes like old oil and lacking in flavor. We all enjoy Thai food regularly and have tried many places in the region and have this place a try for the first time, never again! It's unfortunate to have to leave such a review but it was honestly disappointing.

Delicious thai flavour! I just wish they had included mushrooms in my tom yum vegetable soup as the menu promised--I was so looking forward to those and even asked to make sure that they had mushrooms. Everything was ready on time though and neatly packed 💚

This place has great food and excellent service. If it's not to your spice level they do have hot sauces available on the side. The inside is nice and spacious with the staff following covid protocol. They offer friendly and fast service and are very welcoming and I will definitely come back to try their other menu items!

I had ordered from here before. Food tonight wasn’t fresh. Papaya salad seemed like leftovers from lunch time. Rice that came with the curry looked like rice that are a few days old. (First hand experience- rice that i make at home looked like this after at least 2-3 days.) if it’s not that old, please get a new rice cooker!!

Pork belly dish had pork belly that was very dried up. Pork belly is so fatty, that this probably was cooked over and over to get this chewy.

I debated getting food from here vs Ammata kitchen. Should have gone to the other place. I understand that price have gone up everywhere, but quality should be there, especially since the portions became smaller and prices higher. Very disappointing meal that cost over $100.

I know that sounds crazy, about a small Thai restaurant in tiny Norwood/Northvale Bergen County. NJ but it is what I have found to be true. I particularly love their red curry, green curry, ginger salmon, masama curry, and fried tofu appetizer, but order anything and you probably won't be disappointed :)

Great local reat Thai cuisine, the food is simply delicious.

I tried their green curry, massaman curry, peanut chicken, they were all perfect.

In addition to that, they are really friendly and nice, it was a great dinner!

Note that now, during Covid, they are only available for pick ups so better be aware of it.

The Kao Soi Kai keeps us coming back. I don't know what it is but I have to have it once a week. It is so good. So creamy. It's like a big hug. We love it.

It was okay. Def not best Thai I’ve had and not very authentic. Noodles in khao soi weren’t right. Use red pepper flakes instead of chili’s for papaya salad (salad was good other wise!). Pad Thai lacked kick / flavor. Crab fried rice was a bright spot. Summer rolls needed mint.

Consistently good Thai food made by people who genuinely seem to care about what they're making. That being said if you're looking for local delivery you're SOL. They do have Door Dash but of course that comes with a fee. If you're looking to eat there just beware there are a LOT of rules. No drinks of any kind. They even list them for you just in case you didn't get it. If you're used to splitting checks beware. No more than a two card split. Lastly I'm pretty sure they also have a max person per table rule. I've never eaten there but I suspect if you try to break the rules the woman who works the front room will mete out justice swiftly

I work in Northvale, so I frequent this Thai restaurant for lunch.
Online ordering is available which is super convenient for a quick pick up.

Service is usually pretty snappy, but the dine in space is very limited.

As for the food, one of my favorite things about this place is their ginger dressing; it is to die for! Lunch specials come with a small side garden salad and choice of appetizer like a spring roll or dumpling, etc. All app choices are great; you can't go wrong. Also the portions are spot on.

Lunch special options are great. My usual is the Pad See Ew and you can choose your protein and spice level.

If you enjoy Thai food, definitely give this place a try!

Be warned! This is not an upscale, classy restaurant! Also, to get to the restroom, you will need to walk around the building to the back (because you can't walk through the kitchen).

That all being said,... this IS a fantastic restaurant with fantastic food and an amazing owner who is always, I mean ALWAYS attending to customer needs. The owner is extremely nice and kind-spirited. On a hot day, she even brought out a fan and placed facing me to keep me cool. I mean if the food was bad here, I would probably still go occasionally just to support the owner.

Now.. The food... I have ordered about 35-40 different items off of their menu. None of items on the menu are bad, let alone, average. Every item on their menu is on friggin point! I have never been to a restaurant where I was impressed with every single thing I ordered. Even their plain house soup is great.
