I had this spot on my radar for some time now and finally got the opportunity to go. I was able to find parking nearby and was greeted by Kevin. I called him the hardest working man because not only did he serve us perfectly, he was taking orders over the phone and doing the take out.

This place is BYOB and we ordered a plethora of things. For appetizers we had dumplings, spring rolls, and fried tofu. I liked the dumplings even though a little cold and the spring rolls were good. Wasn't a fan of the tofu though. For an entrée I had the vegetable drunken noodle which was tasty. My friend enjoyed all of his food as well. I will definitely be back.

This is by the far the worst panang curry and curry puffs I've ever tried. The panang curry is so watered down. I'm not even kidding. It looked like they added more water to the mix to make more dishes out of whatever they had prepared. There is not even a hint of spiciness. I give the panang curry a 0/5 rating. The curry puffs look like over-fried dumplings (not a puff) in old oil. I've tried many Thai restaurants and this takes the cake for being one of the worst so far.

My friend and I absolutely dislike the food we ordered for take out. We are not ordering from them again.

We ordered Thai iced tea, panang curry, spicy basil chicken, and curry puffs for delivery.

Thai iced tea - we bought two, one completely leaked all over inside the bag. The remaining one tasted sweet, but not very flavorful.

Panang curry - came in very soggy and watery with no spice. The dish had plenty of chicken, but they weren't cooked well.

Curry puffs - very small, and the fried dough wasn't impressive.

Spicy basil chicken - felt like a Chinese stir fry dish, with a small kick but not spicy and certainly not as flavorful as I expected.

We don't intend on ordering from here again, not when there are plentiful of better quality options at a much better price point across the river.

Tum Thai was really amazing. I dined in and ordered Thai crispy wing with sticky rice. My food came in pretty fast with excellent service. The waiter treated me very nicely. The food was also really good. I recommend coming here 😋

I don't understand what they are serving

Nice dishes with vegetarian options which does not diminish the taste in any way! Had the drunken noodles and it was nice, maybe could have been a bit more spicy and could have added a bit more Thai basil, but overall good!

When I was looking at the menu, my expectations were lower than a donkey. However, I could eat a horse at that point so I shrugged it off and decided to order the Thai noodles. The waiter was very nice and politely handed me the astonishing meal. The place also smells very good and the janitors are doing a great job keeping the area clean. This is also a very rare sighting of a Thai restaurant and just letting you know they serve one of the best Thai food in America. However the drinks were not the best but everything else was beyond delicious. If you don’t believe me go try it out yourself, but I think it was hella good.

Updated review: Terrible experience today. Wait staff of 1 and kitchen could not keep up with dine in guests, but to go orders were flying out of the kitchen. We never received our appetizer despite asking twice for it, and my wife's dinner and mine came out on freezing cold plates. Ended up leaving cash (and tip) on table and walked out after getting my own to go container. We were the lucky ones as there were at least 5 tables that came in after us and were still waiting for their food when we left.

Consistently good food, service is good. Always best to pick up for take out. Their quoted times for delivery are crazy long.

Only thai restaurant with no real spiciness to its food when requested, if you do , you get a whole bunch of pepper that is still NOT SPICY

I just hung up the phone with management. I ordered food On Sunday and they delivered to my house in Rahway. Today, I called and they stated that they would not deliver to my house anymore because it was too far away. After stating that the travel time was only 15 minutes away. They offered to give me a 10% discount in connection with the inconvenience. Will not be ordering from this place anymore. I also will be talking about this place on my podcast and my YouTube channel. It makes no sense how ignorant and disgusting people are in connection with service these days. We were given a refund and will update you as to if we receive it or not.

Our go to Thai restaurant in this area. Very tasty food and reasonably price. Drunken noodle is my husband’s favorite. I usually got the spicy basil paste dish.

Last Sunday I ordered a pad Thai, fried rice and chicken wing for pick up, the food was the best food I have ever tasted, the chicken wing was the best wings I have ever tasted, the pad Thai was delicious. I will always come again.

Uhhh not as good as I remember it. They didn’t include my gyoza sauce, messed up the meal a little. Would like the sauce to be on the wings.

Such a terrible experience. This is not authentic Thai food. The waitress was very disrespectful to us, as I just asked for an authentic and very common Thai meal called "Nam Tok". She didn't know what it was, and didn't even want to ask in the kitchen (as I realized even the Cook wasn't Thai). So we ordered Pad Thai and chicken Satay (at least it wasn't that bad). After that I realized, that they weren't speaking Thai language to each other. I mean you don't need to be Thai to cook Thai food, but at least if you have a restaurant, you need to learn to cook real Thai. That was very disappointing. Not to recommend as they are lying to the customers with "authentic Thai food". 2/10 is my Score for them.

We do takeout from here every few weeks. Prices are reasonable and The quality of the food is good, but this version of Thai is more Americanized. Everything is a bit sweeter than traditional Thai and Even spicy dishes aren’t that spicy.

Mirroring what another reviewer mentioned about the mango sticky rice, it was terrible. I have never had bad mango sticky rice whether the food was great or just OK. I don’t even think they used sticky rice. It had the texture of regular rice cooked in coconut milk - mushy, not sweet and then bland. When I called to inquire, they just said that’s how they make it. The rest of our food was not great, the chicken didn’t seem like real chicken, and the spicy curry was less spicy than the non-spicy soup.

I feel bad writing a bad review. I have tried so many Thai places because it’s my fav. I ordered 4 items and they were allll not good… the chicken in everything tasted weird and was in huge chunks. The Thai basil was so oily and had breaded shrimp and the pineapple fried rice tasted so plain. The green curry was okay but again the chicken was nasty. What a waste of over $60..

Update 06/2022. Food quality and taste changed. Fried chicken wings not freshly fried (fried in advance and reheated when ordering) do not recommend anymore, smaller shrimp. Food doesn't taste as good as before. Removed 2 star.

I ordered chicken pad Thai which was pretty good but after eating almost the whole dish I found a long black hair in my food. I brought the issue to the attention of the server who said “sorry”. Then she brought me the bill with a $2 discount. LOL!!! I paid but I will never be back. Should have been free for having human hair in the food.

Solid Thai food options for take out. To be honest though, I've only had their Pad Thai which was pretty good compared to others I've tried in the area. My friend had their curry and seemed to enjoy it as well. If you like spicy food, be sure to ask for it spicy or extra spicy. Their medium spice level is nothing compared to most Thai restaurants I've been to. Just depends on your preference.

Basil fried rice doesn’t taste like Thai basil fried rice

This place is pretty bad..I don’t understand how it has high ratings. Server told us we weren’t allowed to ask any questions, then stared at us when food came out wrong and refused to take it back. We had to ask him 3 times to replace it because his body language read “no eat it anyway.” He ignored us and was short with us after that so we decided not to tip (and I always tip. I was a server for 7 years!) the service was that bad. THEN after leaving the restaurant, the hostess that was there followed us outside and came up to my car window!! and asked why we didn’t leave our server a tip. After telling her why, which we shouldn’t even have to do in the first place, she goes “I mean you should tip your server anyway” NO. The food isn’t even good enough to balance out whatever the heck is going on in there. The curry was super bland.

As a Thai person eating Thai food, this was utterly disappointing... I saw on another comment that said it basically tasted like Chinese food and I AGREE. I ordered the Thai Chicken Wings- tasted EXACTLY like one you would get at a local Chinese food place. I also ordered the Thai basil fried rice- No basil in sight and it didn't taste like it one bit. My friend ordered a Pineapple fried rice- the rice was SO sweet, it tasted like it had coconut milk in there! The Thai tea is NOT even authentic ... it was the ones you just mix with water. Just SO disappointing. It is edible so I give it 2 stars BUT definitely not Thai food.

I don't know why but their curry and hot& spicy soup on only taste good if I'm dining in. Take out tastes terrible. So if you are in the mood for getting out and eat, highly recommend this place.🙂

I never leave reviews, but I had to for this place. I ordered Thai food for 3 people. It came out to about $75 (a little overpriced imo, but fine). I went to pick it up and the man inside said, "No tip! No tip!" and pointed at the receipt attached to my bag saying "no tip." I felt so awkward. Since when did anyone ask for tip on a take out order? I'm the one that picked it up. If I ordered from UberEats, I would be tipping the driver, not the restaurant. Why is this guy hassling good customers? This was about 2-3 minutes (I think) of me feeling very awkward.

Obviously, I didn't pay tip. I wasn't going to be shaken down.

On the bright side, this place does have good food.

I called to order pickup and the guy who answered was extremely rude and was rushing me. I wasn't done with my order but he told me 10 to 15 minutes and hung up. When I called again, he answered and yelled, can you wait for a minute!? I hung up and decided to order from a Chinese restaurant instead. Really disappointing food. Ordered a Thai tea, eggplant tofu dish and scallion pancake at around 8:45pm. First off - the meal was ready less than 5 minutes after I placed it online which I found unusual and made me question how long the food was sitting out. The scallion pancake was extremely greasy that there was grease in the tray. The Thai tea had melted ice in it. The eggplant tofu was lukewarm, not spicy (which was advertised) and mediocre at best. Will not return.

The mango chicken was amazing. Large portions for the great price offering.

Have yet to dine in but passed by enough times coming back from my son’s baseball practices that I gave it a try for carrying out. Food has always been excellent. Mango Shrimp or Chicken is a must try, and simple dishes like pad-see-ew are flavorful and fresh. Soups are awesome and seafood fried rice is terrific. Now we are ordering food from here every week!

I ordered for the first time the mixed vegetable bean curd with white rice. I was pleasantly satiated with the variety of mixed vegetables, it was like a rainbow of veggies!! Tofu was also very tasty because the sauce was balanced and not overpowering. Highly recommend

Passed thru the town and my husband decided to get some pineapple fried rice (which ended up being coconut fried rice) and a mango sticky rice. We received the mango sticky rice like this, we saw this right when we got home 25 min later.. no this is not my vomit, no the car didn’t flip over, no we didn’t handle the bag wildly. we called obviously to tell them like any other person would and they literally told us off and cut the phone, and no we weren’t mean- were cool laid back people. all he said is to just bring it back bc they don’t believe us or whatever. Wild costumer service. Anyway, We went back to show them and exchange for an actual real mango sticky rice but all he did was give us $6 back and said that’s how they serve it and bye. Hmm ok I’m sure everyone can agree they don’t get it like this- and if it’s TOGO- package it separately? So the “Pineapple fried Rice” was nasty and the “mango sticky rice” was nasty along with their service. No thank you.

I came here about three years ago with some friends and we had a great experience. The food was excellent and the service was great. I came here today with my husband and we were highly disappointed. Especially given the fact that I spoke highly of this place. This was my husband’s first time here.

Our service was absolutely TERRIBLE. More towards my husband than me. She was rude towards him, aggressively put down his plate, wouldn’t look at him when ordering, nothing. With me, she was nicer and even gave me the bill and didn’t look at my husband. I’m not saying that people should assume he’s paying but she wasn’t pleasant.

When it came to our food, his looked like dog food, to put quite frankly. My food was alright but it wasn’t spicy when I ordered spicy. When we were leaving, she said goodbye and have a goodnight but didn’t even look at my husband.

Long story short, I am very disappointed. I wouldn’t go back here and I just suggest the customer service become better.

Ordered the vegan beef and mixed veggies. I was skeptical about whether it really wasnt ACTUAL beef but after eating a piece whole I was convinced (sorta). Experience was short and indifferent up until it was time for me to leave. I felt like I was being rushed out and as I put my food back in my bag preparing to leave, the male host at the front just stood near and watched me. I finally got myself together and turned towards the door only to notice that he was STILL staring at me. I asked him if I did anything wrong to which he replied, “oh no” and started to walk into the back once he saw my foot out the door. I walked out the door towards my car and turned back to look at the sign of the place again and saw that he had came back out and was watching me through the window. I’m not sure if he was suspicious of me or what but he made me very uncomfortable. I felt like I was being criminalized w/ how intently he watched me. Probably won’t be back or recommend this location. Not to mention when I asked for sauces he said that they dont have sauce because it’s a thai place, not chinese. I’m not familiar w/ the logistics of that so I didn’t hesitate to move on from that.

Really delicious

Not only is the food here not authentic Thai food, but the descriptions of the items are also misleading and wrong. The papaya salad is described as "green papaya with tomatoes, carrots, string bean, crushed peanut," which sounds like a traditional Thai papaya salad, but what came out was an American style salad with romaine lettuce, cucumbers, bell peppers, and shallots, along with chunks of orange (not green) papaya.

週末の8時過ぎに来店。接客も良いが値段が高いかな。本場のタイ料理というよりアメリカナイズされてる味。そこそこに美味しいけど、何かが物足りない感じ。隣との距離が近すぎてちょっときになる。大きなマイナス点はないけれど、星5ではなかった。行けばわかると思います。
