Hidden Gem … what a taste. It’s an amazing hidden gem food. We ordered Penang Curry, Shrimp Curry and Pad Ke Mao. Everything is very flavorful and tasty … We will make this as our Thai food join for now.

The satay chicken was tender and not dry, the sauce and the pickle on the side was so different and addicting. Curry and pad Thai also solid choices but pad see ew was 👌🏻. We finished off with a warm dessert, the mango sticky rice and it wasn’t too sweet, super heartwarming and the rice had a nice bite to it with the crispy toppings. Love this place and will be a regular for sure! Miriam our server was sooo nice and was making everyone at the restaurant feel so welcome and cared for. Great food + service ! A++

Had lunch here today with 6 people. The food was fresh, delicious and authentic. The waitress was friendly and all the food was so tasty. We ordered the Food Truck favorites appetizer, pad Thai, drunken noodles, Tom yum soup and a Panang curry dish. The pad Thai had more tamarind than I was used to but it was still good. My favorite dish was the drunken noodles. Everything was great. We all loved the mango ice cream and coconut sticky rice dessert. Great restaurant and we plan to return.

What an amazing hidden spot in Helmetta! The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every dish we ordered (with spice 2 and spice3 levels and it was still spicy enough to melt our sinuses). Absolute gem of a place. We came from NYC to a nearby nursery farm, got hungry and found this place on a whim. Turned out to be one of the best thai food we ever had (and we love and try thai everywhere we go). Everything was very fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly, very helpful and kept checking on us to make sure everything was good. The portions are good, the prices are reasonable. I would recommend it. We can’t wait to go back!

This place is always amazing! We have been ordering since it has opened. The owner is very friendly and the staff as well. We recently had dinner here last minute on Valentine's Day. They let us know the food may come out a bit delayed, but we were ok with that. The food still came out quickly and was delicious! They made us feel welcome and didn't rush us! Love this place and if you haven't tried it...you will love it too! This is THE BEST THAI FOOD YOU WILL EAT!!

I've only ever doordashed from here but food is good quality compared to most other thai restaurants! Most importantly, they have house-made chili oil which is very spicy 🫶🏻 I get their boat noodles like every other week 😂

The best drunken noodle I've ever had. I work in the area once in a while, and it's become impossible for me to not stop in when I'm there. I put their chili crisp on a medium spicy drunken noodle to dial it in. Highly recommended.

Thai Food Addict is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely amazing, and the owner-chef personally checked on us, offering thoughtful recommendations and explaining how each dish was prepared. She mentioned that her recipes were passed down through generations, and you can truly taste the tradition in every bite. The wonton soup was incredible, and both the pad Thai and spicy beef entree were flavorful and refreshing. Highly recommend for authentic Thai cuisine with a personal touch!

Ordered from here two days in a row because I was so surprised by the delicious food. The Drunken Noodles, Pad See Ew noodles were very good. We had appetizers -- the thai pockets, which are like thai empanadas, the chicken wontons (fried, SO thin and crisp), fried shrimp roll (one whole shrimp wrapped in wonton wrapper, fried) - they were all SO good. Fresh, crisp, flavorful, delicious.
But the MOST delicious dish, and the dish I ordered again the next day, was the Pineapple Fried Rice. It was AWESOME. The best, most unique Pineapple Fried Rice I've had in any thai place (and that's quite a lot). In other thai restaurants, this is just a fried rice dish with pineapple thrown in. But here, the fried rice is so well seasoned, with a hint of curry flavors, and there's raisins, and cashews and it is SO flavorful and really amazing. I want to eat this everyday.

Husband and I recently moved around the area and found this place a month ago, have been here 3 times already! The food is amazing, the flavors are very authentic. Staff is always so friendly and the playlist hits everytime we're there. Definitely worth a 40 min drive!

I've been coming to this local Thai food spot for years. From pad thai, thai basil to drunken noodles. All the dishes have satisfied my appetitie. 9.8/10

Food is so delicious and addicting. Wonton soup was amazing and unexpectedly good. Mango sticky rice is nutty and delicious. Try their tamarind dish, peanut salad dressing, drunken noodles etc. Doesn’t disappoint. This place was so good we ordered twice in 1 week.

Picked up to go Vegetable Pad Thai , requested no bean sprouts and extra peanuts! So flavorful and delicious! I also ordered Tamarind Stir Fried vegetables, many aromatic flavors so delicious.
Next time I would request more broccoli. The owner was so kind and the place was very clean and cozy. Will be back again!

Ordered thru Uber eats. Portions were half of what you usually get. Taste was so bad that we were getting some odour and had to throw it away.

their chicken pad thai could be better, it lacks some flavoring, the spice is very good i got the light spicy 🌶️ but their mango sticky rice dessert was phenomenal, the mango did have a little bit of a weird flavor but i think that’s due to the warmth of the rice so when delivering i suggest you put the mango in a different container. otherwise it was delicious and id order another 30 of those.

A diamond in the rough. Food was excellent, I got the drunken noodles with chicken season level 4 and it was perfect. Spring rolls were fried with a perfect crunch and the red sauce was bomb!

I wanted to gatekeep this gem of a place but I have to share it. My family comes to this place once a week. It's that good.

We usually order the Boat Noodles (deep and rich beef broth with chewy rice noodles), Crying Tiger (tenderest bbq beef with the most addictive sauce), and their Mango sticky rice for dessert. My 2 year old inhales the mango sticky rice and I'm always tempted to order a 2nd one.

Definitely try this place out and go for the more traditional items like Boat Noodles and Crying Tiger!

Thai Food Addict will definitely be our go-to Thai place from now on. We had the triple sampler (veggie egg rolls, fried chicken wontons, and Thai pockets with chicken), pad Thai, Thai omelet, and the vegetable tamarind goong ma kahm (sp?). All were delicious and plentiful. For drinks we had Thai iced tea and hot green tea, both served in mason jar glasses which added a nice touch. Tee (sp?) was such a bubbly server and very attentive. She was like that with everyone in the place from sit-down patrons to food delivery pickups. The owner, Meena, was also super-friendly. Oh, by the way, we HIGHLY recommend getting the mango sticky rice for dessert (one serving is good for sharing) if it is available...DELICIOUS!!

Just ate there and the food was very good! The Triple Sampler was tasty, with 3 sauce dishes too! The chicken pockets in it were very well seasoned with a slight spice and a perfect temperature. The Mango Sticky Rice was decadent; the mangoes were in season and very sweet, which complimented the sticky rice with condensed milk amazingly. The staff were very friendly, moderately quick with their service, and they even gave us complimentary watermelon slices at the end (which were very juicy!). All in all I don't think I had any issues with their food or service at all.

We order, frm this place thru door dash. Food quantity was very less , food was very oily, and my noodles were so over cooked, tht they were stuck like glue with each other. Will not order frm here again. I threw my noodles in garbage:/

Everything we’ve tried is delicious! Our favorites are the Tom Yum Fried Rice with Chicken and the Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken, Panang Curry with Chicken and the Crying Tiger. They make the perfect Sunny Side-Down Egg and I love to top the fried rice with it.

You can tell a lot of love goes into making the food. The flavors are absolutely out of this world. Once you give this food a try you will fall in love.

Great variety to choose from and it all tasted delicious. Pineapple fried rice was excellent. 4 stars because I called everyday so I could try the fish cakes (original reason why I wanted to order from here) and was finally informed they wouldn’t have them for 6 months or so. I’d take them off the menu for now..I just thought they’d were SO good they sold out every day..

Really like the Thai food here. They've got all the classics you'd expect and some great appetizers too. Sometimes they get a bit backed up, but the food more than makes up for a small wait

The food was very good. Definitely homemade. Service was also very good. Ask for their wing sauce, if you order any of the fried appetizers, it is quite tasty. They make it themselves. Nice variety of vegetables in drunken noodles and amount of chicken. Ordered the dishes medium spice level. I like spicy food and this was enough for me. They brought out more spices (have had this in other Thai restaurants but not around this area), and did not need it. Definitely will go back.

I’ve been a bunch of Thai restaurants in the area and this is by the best! The service is always great!

Ordered the shrimp rolls (5 pieces), the shrimp are wrapped with a crispy dough with a scallion tied around it and was delicious. The crying tiger (flank steak) was pretty good, nothing spectacular about it. Lastly, had the chicken larb that had an abundance of fresh flavor. The herbs and onions in this dish made it pop. I added some of the vinegar (sweet pepper infused) and some of the hot pepper (it’s extremely hot BTW-a good thing) as well to the dish. Extremely pleasant and attentive staff as well. I look forward to trying more of the menu as they have so much to choose from. I will definitely be back.

While the spring rolls and the rice were quite good, unfortunately I can’t say the same for the rest of the food. The Pad Thai was greasy, the Panang curry was thin and watery, and the Green curry was lacking of flavor. My family loves Thai food, but none of us finished our meal.

After a long time, I found an excellent vegetarian thai restaurant in our area. The food was prepared on time, really flavorful. The vegetables were seasoned and flavored very nicely. They were not a overcooked mush. I would definitely order from here again.

Within a week, we're there twice.
First time, ordered the Pork Tom Yum soup and Chicken drunken noodles. They were delicious.
Second time ordered the Pork Tom yum soup, was disappointed, portion was less than before with only 3 pieces of Pork and very little green vegetables. Over loaded with crushed peanuts.

Absolutely delicious noodles and rice with the best Thai tea I've had outside of a dedicated Asian tea joint.

The drunken noodles and drunken rice were accompanied by a selection of optional spices. Although I could have used some more Chinese broccoli but that's my only complaint. The portions were great.

This is a very authentic Thai restaurant that was very enjoyable and reasonably priced. The service was friendly but unobtrusive, work many excellent choices for every part of the meal.
The Tamarind Shrimp/Goong Ma Kahm Shrimp stir-fry (see photo) was very good, as was the Pad Thai with crab.

I was craving Thai food, my favorite trusted place was closed, so I figured I'll give them a try. They have unique veggie selections and the cashier was very friendly and welcoming, so I'll be back to try the others, the only thing is my fear of Forest area's caused me a lot of anxiety. I have to drive through Helmetta Blvd to get here!

Warm cozy joint, with mighty food footprint. Literally, the best authentic Thai food in all of NJ thus far. None of the typical sugary, overtly creamy, mellow commercial style that most places serve.
Just lovely fresh ingredients, wholesome flavors of Basil, lemon leaves, green peppercorns and careful prep by the Chef.

We had all Vegan dishes due to our party's food restrictions and everything was stellar. There might be some language barrier when conveying the order but nothing a bit of patience and empathy cannot solve. The food will definitely not disappoint 😋👍

Real authentic Thai food! Been there 2 times. Noodle soup bowls are so yummy. Recommend!

Disappointed at many levels! Quantities are too low, box was less than half full. Ordered pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, tamarind stir fry and Panama curry. Everything was off except Panag curry which had chickpeas??? We love Thai food and have tried a lot of places and this is probably the worst tasting. Please avoid

Finally went and tried this new Thai restaurant in helmetta, NJ. They are known for their food truck , but now have a storefront as well. Very happy to have them close by because the food is very good. Authentic Thai food! They are doing everything fresh and know how to spice everything correctly. Very good heat levels. I Had the papaya salad which was very good and fresh. Also had the marinated fried pork ribs and chicken wings as an appetizer. Go try both asap! I am sure all the other appetizers are delicious. For my main entree I had the PORK TOM YUM NOODLES which is a specialty of theirs at Thai Food Addict. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all my questions. Go try them out if you like really good Thai food.

Chicken pad thai was very greasy, chicken was dry and hard, and the noodles were over cooked and sticking together. Spring rolls were good but not worth the money. Over all, $20 for eh food isn't worth it. I'll give it another chance with other food.
The inside was very clean and nicely redone.

Vegetarian food was bland even after ordering spicy. Filled mostly with peppers. Small portions. Overall very disappointing!

Food was amazing. Beautifully spiced, authentic ingredients, colorful and tasty! I had the green curry and the panang. Both were delicious. The dessert we chose was the Floating Lotus. Creamy and nicely spiced in a warm coconut milk sauce. A must try. Great to have something different to chose in our town!

Ordered for first time. Soup with chicken dumplings pretty good, puff sweet potato, good, fat noodles dripping in grease and huge amount of sodium, anchovy and papaya salad missing anchovy and papaya. (Money kindly refunded for salad after telephone call to owner). At first doubted me and asked for picture of salad, felt not a good way to build relationship with possible steady customer in future. On whole disappointed, greasy, sodium filled food. May give them another chance but the grease and sodium a hindrance. NaaMo in Monroe has excellent upscale Thai food. The food here is AMAZING! So happy to have a great place in the area. If you like steak you have to try the crying tiger and if you are a pad thai lover you won't be able to put theirs down! Super happy with this establishment!

My mom and I just ordered from Thai Food Addict for the first time tonight. Overall, the food was great! It tasted authentic, the spices were aromatic, and the dishes were flavorful. We particularly enjoyed the wonton soup and the drunken noodles. I’m posting a photo of something tasty that we found in the drunken noodle dish. I’m thinking it’s pea eggplant, but I’m not sure! If anyone knows what it is, please comment below. We unfortunately didn’t care for the Pad Thai, but I’m sure that’s just a matter of our personal taste. I’ll be coming back soon to try something new!

This was some of the worst Thai food I have ever had. The spring rolls were okay but the drunken noodles tasted and smelled like potpourri or something. It was so bad neither myself or my friend could eat it past a few bites.

Haven't had much thai food before but it's reputation for being spicy precedes it. I am extremely sensitive to that and at first my meal was too spicy but they were happy to modify it for me, and they even offered me some spring rolls as an apology which was not required but was very much appreciated! The quality of the food was very high but the portion sizes were smallish I guess to compensate. We did not leave feeling hungry though, because the very tasty sticky rice and somewhat average jasmine rice filled us the rest of the way up. This is definitely a lot better than your typical Chinese take out! And it's about the same price too. I'd recommend them to anyone who is sick of general Tso's, even those who, like me, cannot handle any level of spiciness.

Ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees for takeout and were majorly disappointed. Food wasn’t tasteful but was definitely super greasy. First time I haven’t finished Thai. Will stick to other options.

Outstanding!!!!!!! The staff are so nice, the restaurant is beautiful and clean. But the most important part is that the food is INCREDIBLE! I urge everyone to enjoy this spot often and support this business! We are so lucky to have this in our little town!

The food was absolutely delicious! Very flavorful but for the price, my family and I felt as if the portion sizes could have been slightly bigger! I'm excited that I've found some great local Thai food and cannot wait to try more!!
