We ended up getting the angry bird sushi roll and Godzilla sushi roll. I forget which roll was which, but the crab and shrimp tempura was incredible. We both felt it was one of the best sushi rolls we've had. However, we felt the crab, avocado, and cream cheese roll had way too much cream cheese.

For appetizers, the pan fried pork dumplings were okay. Not bad but not exceptional. The three custard buns, in contrast, were divine - big, soft, fluffy, with a perfectly melted center. It filled me up more than the sushi.

Mom's beef with chilli sauce dish had a nicely presented carrot flower, but too much oil on the bottom. She ended up tilting the plate to keep the oil in one corner of the square plate.

The restaurant has beautiful decor with white walls, snakeskin-looking seats, and red napkins. It's a striking color scheme, and the abstract paintings and flowers add an elegant touch. The industrial ceiling can be ignored thanks to the wavy mesh - a creative way to retain the elegance of the space.

Despite the nice decor, I think it's best to dress casually, maybe business casual at most. You'd look a bit out of place in a suit, I feel.

In all, the meal was $85 including tips for two people. The service was okay, and the sushi felt a tad expensive compared to other local sushi places. I'd love to come back and try the rest of the menu, like the Peking duck, but based on this visit, it's a solid 3 stars out of 5.

If I could have given it six stars I would have! This was quite a fine! We've lived in the area for a long time and just never stopped in, but everything we had was amazing from the cowboy sushi roll, to the Thai green curry and the Le Dish supreme! The service was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. Really can't complain about anything! And even the prices were reasonable! Highly recommend bringing cash you get 10% off!

We have been well familiar with the previous reincarnations of Le Dish - Kenji Fusion and Elements Asia - for years.

What remains constant is that the place continues to be a somewhat upscale version of strip-malls located sushi or Asian cuisine restaurants, usually stripped of any decor, etc.

Le Dish boasts of not just a cozy and lounge-like interior, but its food is well prepared, and the presentation is equally artful, again, beating most of its area's competitors.

All of the above does reflect on Le Dish's prices, which are at least 15% to 20% higher than what one might see at other similar neighborhood restaurants. Also, if you pay with a credit card, there is a 10% addition to your check. Mental note - bring cash next time when going to Le Dish.

Another plus is that Le Dish' opening hours are somewhat longer, some days closing at 10 pm vs. more common 9 pm.

The food is good. The rolls taste fresh and generally well made.
And it is not just sushi. There are some conventional Chinese and Thai specialties and whole sections, such as "Lo Mein," noodle varieties, fried rice, Chinese pork, beef, chicken, and seafood classics.

The sashimi was fresh and delicious. But the tuna lovers roll seem like it was made hours ago. The tuna that was on top was dried out and a little whitish. I should have sent it back. Service was decent. In regards to atmosphere, it's just too bright, at least for a date night. I think they would do better if they were able to dim the lights a little bit.

Been coming here for a long time now. They're the best Chinese food restaurant in the area. The beef and chicken they use in their dishes aren't a mushy mash that you get at some other Chinese restaurants. The beef lo mein is excellent--fresh and you can taste the wok hei. Their sesame chicken and mapo tofu are also delicious. I haven't had a dish here that I wasn't happy with. You never have to wait long for your food to arrive at your table.

Also recommend you try their desserts they're very good! I usually get their fried ice cream.

STAY away from the old fish sushi!!

Unfortunately after 3 out of 4 bad experiences I have to say I do not understand who can rate the food at 5 stars. We are no that high maintenance or picky but were shocked by the sushi rolls yesterday.

I was pulling out fish membrane from my teeth for hours and immediately got terribly bloated and had severe belly aches till the morning. Today I had runs, twice and have continuous acid reflux. These people do not know what a good sushi grade fish is if it tapped them on the back. When we complained they did nothing to remediate like fresh rolls or comping the meal.

We ordered Cowboy roll and Spicy lovers roll. Both had exactly same boring filling of ground fish. No nice flavors or recipe. And both contained visibly old, grey, unhealthy looking, dry, warm, disgusting tuna. It even looked like they tried to disguise the bad quality fish by searing the edges but to no avail. We chewed and chewed and realized this is simply the worst and most dishonest sushi we ever had. Bordering on food poisoning judging from the state of my stomach today.

I visited once with a bigger group and liked the food and then came 3 more times, each with a different person and each food experience pretty so, so. I had thai curry, thai soup, chinese fish and chicken, and each time something was wrong. The duck curry one time was simply odd, the meat tasted chewy and gross. The chinese dish with fish tasted like sugar, and parts of the fish has gone bad.

But the worst was yesterday when after still reading these high reviews I persuaded my husband to go here for sushi. I cannot believe I spent so much money here.

This is my go-to spot! Always happy with the portions and the flavor.

We went here for dinner last night. The food was delicious, however the service was awful. There is an older Asian woman that had no interest to serve us. She eliminated one of our fried rice requests without telling us, so I had to order noodles to compensate for the less food (which took an additional 30 minutes). She served the food at room temperature, my guess is it was sitting around, took a long time to get each dish. She only spoke to a few certain guests but no service for us. It wa sad if she had no interest to serve us. When checking out, I asked for a take out container and hot oil. She forgot to help with that and noticed that I got up to use the bathroom and said, here is the hot oil. I said I am using the restroom so I cannot carry this in. She said ok! I will leave it here. Man, she was so rude. We still have her an 18% tip, she didn’t even thank us. Just get take out, don’t dine in here. Awful service.

Had a nice dine in experience. It's a small intimate place. There is a lot of take out activity that might be a bit annoying. HOWEVER, THE DINING AREA IS NICE. GIVE IT A TRY.

Excellent all around! We were looking for a place to celebrate our daughter's engagement and came across this restaurant due to previous reviews. The rating was accurate. First, the restaurant itself was very nice. The interior was very simple but kind of modernly stylish and tasteful. It was set up so that although there were a lot of tables, we didn't hear the other patrons. It was fun seeing the sushi chef in the corner, and the room just felt very clean. The waitress was very nice and good. She satisfied my son's rule for coming by often enough to fill our water glasses. She was very helpful with our many questions and she gave us great advice on two dishes to try. As with many restaurants, rarely do all five of us have a "great" meal. We did here. I had the Panang Curry with chicken, and my daughter had the Thai Basil with chicken - the waitress's favorites on the menu. Both we very good. The flavor in both was so good we shared each others meals alternating bites of what we took. My wife had the Crispy Pork which also had very good flavor and taste. Same with the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai. We recommend you get appetizers - the Sushi was quite good as were the Soup Dumplings. We plan on coming here again, and we picked up a Take-out menu for this is by far the best Asian food we have found in the West Windsor/Hamilton area.

We dined inside the restaurant. The food and service were both good. The atmosphere was pleasant. The only problem we had was the take-order. We had pineappke, shrimp fried rice. When we got home, the order they gave us was pineapple, chicken fried rice. We had to add a bit of liquid to the take-out order because the shrimp was a bit dry, but ot tasted good. Just it should have been shrimp, not chicken.

Neither curry was spicy, but you could ask for extra spice I assume. I ordered a small container of hot chili oil for $1 and it was very hot, and tasty. Enough for 4-8 dishes to spice to your liking.

They do give a 10% discount for cash. I didn’t even have to ask. So the reviewer who said they charge 10% extra for credit card is completely wrong. Their review should be modified or taken down for wrong information.

If you are Black, STAY AWAY from this place. We sat and waiting for over 10 minutes, no one came to our table to at least serve us water. A large party sat down about 5mins after we did and they got water and their appetizer order taken immediately. We got up to leave and the worker mocked us. Never apologized or said a word about not serving us. This kind of behavior is just disgusting.

My wife and I have been eating here for several years. When we moved here she tried every sushi place around now she exclusively gets her sushi here.
I’m not a huge sushi guy so I like to get the chefs specials. It’s something different every time. I really love their fried rice because it’s made fresh with plenty of veggies.
This is NOT you’re run of the mill “Chinese food”.
This is high quality asian food.

Was visiting from out of state and our daughter took us to LeDish. It was my granddaughters birthday and they made her feel like a princess. Gave her ice cream and fried bananas with a candle on top. The green curry with chicken was spicy and delicious. Also had hot sour soup that was amazing. My son Inlaw is a vegetarian and loves the many options to choose from. Would definitely go back.

Maybe the food is better in person, but delivery was awful. I had to throw it out.

I ordered seafood fried rice and it's so unbelievably underseasoned and bland. The rice is crunchy and burnt. The scallops had absolutely no type of seasoning on them whatsoever. Even when I added my own soy sauce, hot sauce, veggies, and herbs it still tasted like an overcooked mess of nightmare textures.

I'm willing to try again but only for dine in.

Went to this place for the first time for dinner. In celebrating a birthday for a family member. The atmosphere was noisy, with a retro 70's metallic decor. Service was extremely slow. It took over 20 minutes for us to get our orders taken. Forgetting two of us as we were at the opposite end of the table.
All the dishes ordered - looked less then appetizing, mushy and goo like. When eaten it tasted as if the food came from the dumpster.
After leaving most of the food. We had finished and cleaned up our table since the serving person was too busy to attend to us. To make room for the birthday cake. We all ate the cake we brought, enjoying every bit of it.
Would never recommend this place.

The best Chinese restaurant in the area. My family and I order from Le Dish every week. The food is fresh, consistently, tasty and the staff is very friendly.

1. Spring rolls are crispy on the outside with fresh veggies inside
2. The chicken on a stick is white meat and flavorful
3. The hot popcorn chicken is one of their best dishes it’s fried white meat pieces of chicken with seasoning, dried red peppers, peanuts it’s incredible.
4. Chicken lo mein is flavorful and the noodles are cooked to perfection
5. Veggie fried rice is flavorful and the veggies are diced up and not chunky
6. Sushi is fresh and consistent

I ordered take out. But I am going to try sushi items next time. I ordered soup and a chicken dish.

Do not order from here. My fiancee ordered pepper tuna and the delivered tuna that looks like an old shoe. But they did make up for it. And Delivered better sushi. But honestly for almost $100.00 I shouldn't have to call back back and say hey give us actual edible food.

Le Dish is one of our favorite local spots. From the outside it may be easy to underestimate, as this location is set in a small, somewhat quotidian strip mall. However, their attention to food quality, coupled with their exceedingly courteous staff makes this not just one of the better restaurants serving Asian fare, but also one of the best places to eat in the area overall. We enjoy the poke nachos, the shrimp spring rolls and the lettuce wraps, to name a few.

Service is very attentive, Sushi Chef's are good, attractive food good presentation, fish is fresh hot food is nicely seasoned and if you want to change a dish up to your liking they will do that. I am not a big fan of green peppers but I asked them to switch out for broccoli and it was not a problem

Great meal with an upscale feel. Fresh tasting and creative combinations that you can’t find everywhere else. Really love their Peking Duck and their Beef with Mushrooms along with the Shrimp Wonton Soup. Great sushi rolls as well.

Lovely place inside. Their curries are delicious and varied. Tried the penang curry - great blend of flavors and textures. Excellent pork dumplings. Friendly and gracious service.
Returned yesterday and had the most delicious, fresh (non-greasy) lo mein I've ever had - the House Lo Mein with chicken, beef, roast pork and vegetables. Also tried their phenomenal scallion pancakes (chicken pizza). As always, wonderful service.

The absolute best sushi/Asian food in Hamilton. They have great service, and excellent quality food.

Duck soup was crushed up bones, never asked to see if it was ok. Left it in front of me when I was done and obviously only ate less than half. Dumplings were fine, and wife liked hers. You can likely find better.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. The majority of their food can be made gluten free which is AWESOME. This place is the total package.

Unassuming exterior but food is excellent

Been coming here for a long time now. They're the best Chinese food restaurant in the area. The beef and chicken they use in their dishes aren't a mushy mash that you get at some other Chinese restaurants. The beef lo mein is excellent--fresh and you can taste the wok hei. Their sesame chicken and mapo tofu are also delicious. I haven't had a dish here that I wasn't happy with. You never have to wait long for your food to arrive at your table.

Also recommend you try their desserts they're very good! I usually get their fried ice cream.

Le Dish is consistently good. Dishes made to order. Always friendly service. Plus you can watch your sushi being made! Go and enjoy.

Placed an online order directly on the Le Dish website tonight. I got a confirmation that the order would be ready at 5:24pm. Went in to pick it up and they had no record of my order. The woman at the counter asked what website I placed my order on. I said Le Dish. She had to take my order again: vegetable mai fun, vegetable spring rolls, and sautéed broccoli with brown rice. I had to wait about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. Got home and the vegetable spring rolls were shrimp spring rolls and the brown rice was white rice. Disappointing! I gave an extra star because the two women at the counter were pleasant.
