Impeccable service, and the best Thai food I have EVER had (I live in New York City and have frequently visited multiple cities in Thailand). This is an absolute must visit if you live in Monmouth County and like Thai Food. You will not be disappointed. Amazing in all areas and a competitive price. Very willing to accommodate all allergies and restrictions as well.
Awesome Thai spot, no frills, great food, cozy environment. Easy to find with some parking. Plenty of seating and friendly staff. Menu had all of the good stuff. Papaya salad was delicious (and spicy!). Green curry was amazing and the pad Thai was some of the best I've tasted. Overall a wonderful meal I will definitely be back
Pad see ew and Tom yum soup are excellent. The atmosphere inside the place makes you want to visit Thailand if you haven’t already. Beautiful decorations and traditional Thai music. Food has gone up in price but quality is still top tier.
Used to have the best Thai food in the area but now is extremely sub-par. Dined in last weekend with family members and was so disappointed. The service was excellent, as always, wait staff were prompt and friendly, but the food was not good. It came out way too fast, the appetizer ribs were dry and salty, and the flavors of everyone’s dishes were one-note. My noodles were way overcooked and oddly flavored, not the usual taste of pad kee mao that I was looking forward to. We hadn’t even finished the 3 rib appetizer before dinner entrees came out. Seems like assembly line cafeteria Thai instead of something freshly made to order with a rainbow of delicious Thai flavors.
First of all, I would not recommend to visit here, as it was a disappointing experience for us.
We ordered:
1) Thai tea - 2/5. Overly sweet
2) Spring rolls - 1/5. Extremely bland
3) Chicken dumplings - 1/5. Extremely bland and this was just not good.
4) Drunken noodles - 1/5. It doesn't have a flavor of it's own, but is just spicy.
5) Red massaman Curry - 1/5
And surprisingly, it is extremely over priced. I have been to tons of great Thai restaurants in great location, but this one was the most overpriced. 20$ for a red curry? 12$ for mango sticky rice? I mean it just doesn't make sense. Neither is their location near the beach or anything fancy. Also, their service was extremely slow. I would not mind it as I am aware of the labor shortage. But the food was really really disappointing.
I am putting out this review so that people don't travel out of the way for this. Similar to what we did.
The food was delicious. Hidden Gem. It was a very overlooked place for us. We have passed it many many times. The pad thai with shrimp was amazing. Great service from waitresses in traditional thai dress. Very attentive. Music was traditional, the atmosphere transformed us. The flavors are finely tuned through authentic spices. There are non spicy options clearly marked, we dont like hot spicy food, but want lots of flavors. There is an entire vegetarian menu. We are going back to try more selections. BYOB
We had Bangkok Paan Je, Kao Pad Tow Hoo Holapa and Pad Thai Pak. Food was really good and service was great.
Pad see ew and Tom yum soup are excellent. The atmosphere inside the place makes you want to visit Thailand if you haven’t already. Beautiful decorations and traditional Thai music. Food has gone up in price but quality is still top tier.

Best Thai food I’ve had in NJ. Great atmosphere inside and friendly service too. Has always been my go to for dine-in or take-out Thai food.
Overpriced for portion size. Better Thai options around
Used to have the best Thai food in the area but now is extremely sub-par. Dined in last weekend with family members and was so disappointed. So awful we couldn't eat it. The Pad Thai was made with spaghetti noodles and no flavor. Do not order the pork ribs. Way too salty.
Delicious Food tasting homemade and Good Service.
Awful food, fake good reviews, arrogant service
Pad Khing was delicious and spicy. Great service, even when we got there close to closing time, highly recommended.
This past Friday, my wife and I ordered take out from Bangkok House. We both got the Pad Kee Mao, that was amazing and the right amount of spicy! Also, we shared the curry puffs as an appetizer that were filled with chicken and potatoes! Delicious! Since I was under the weather, I ordered Keaw Nam soup for the first time and I will be ordering it every time from now on! Great Service also, pick up was friendly and easy!
Absolutely wonderful experience at Bangkok House. Best Thai food I have ever had - even better than every place I’ve tried in New York City. Charming atmosphere and the staff is incredibly friendly. Will be returning!
It was a great experience. Friendly staff. Great food. I would definitely visit again. One of the best authentic Thai restaurant I have found in central NJ
Always my go to for takeout. Massaman and Penang curry are delicious.
Overall a wonderful meal I will definitely be back
First time ordering takeout and we will be back. Great flavors, big portions, decent price!
Everything about this lovely restaurant is incredible! They have the most delectable food and plenty of delicious vegetarian options. Every time I come here, the staff is so friendly and sweet, and the service is excellent :)
Good reasonable food. Good service.
However....in the years I've been going there the quantity of the food decreased and prices really increased. I realized a lot of businesses have to adjust to the inflation but keep the quantity the same , like others have, and increase the price. Not both.
Very delicious dishes and everything tasted freshly prepared. Firm plump shrimp, red snapper, good quality all around. Finally excellent pad thai! Also enjoyed chicken Massaman curry and pineapple rice. Their 'wonton' soup was expensive but it was so good you hated sharing a bowl but we did just so we could try other dishes. Wish the plates you eat from were bigger...size of American cake plate. Not sure how long they are there but service was a bit odd/awkward in a way and it was hard to feel relaxed...Wish we knew it was BYOB.
We always get take out from here… tonight we brought a friend from Thailand and had an amazing dinner in their private room. She loved it! Service and food were delicious. Spice was perfect and everything cooked to perfection. The owners spoke to her in Thai and made her feel special❤️What an authentic experience 🙏
Food and service was very good, however portions are very small…. So much so that we had to order an additional entry.. we ordered the red curry with duck and the pieces of duck were minimal and primarily just morsels…For the price, I would have to say we wouldn’t return…
We always love this restaurant best food 😋
Restaurant looks very nice inside. They have a couple of vegetarian options. I ordered the mock duck and noodles which were very tasty.
My family and I have gotten takeout from Bangkok Thai many, many times. The food is really good and we've never ordered anything that wasn't great. My only issue is the cost. It's excessive. We'll continue either going there or getting takeout. I would prefer it to be a little more reasonable.
Nothing Thai about it at all. A big disappointment for Thai food lovers ☹️
This place sucks. This isn’t Thai food - it’s spicy ketchup on noodles. There are much better places in red bank. I don’t know how this place is open, and I think the awards on the outside might be made up. Avoid if you want thai food. Seek it out if you want expensive ketchup noodles.
Best Thai food in the area, especially the curries and tom yum. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Great food!
They add an extra 4% to the bill when paying by credit card. Stay away. Restaurants had this expense before the pandemic. Nothing changed, as this was an expense for being in business, but they charge you extra for it now. In addition, Mastercard does not charge them 4%, so they are making additional money. I will not return. Go to Kunga in Keyport. More creative food, lower entree prices, and no upcharge for credit card.
Absolutely my most favourite Thai restaurant ever. The food is so good and reminds me of home it is the most authentic you can get. As a Thai person living in New Jersey, it's refreshing to know that this restaurant is around and I can have a taste of home whenever I need.
Paul Robert's took me to eat here 15 years ago. And I've been coming ever since.
Tom yum and green curry were very good! Very nice atmosphere on the inside.
Disgusting food. I ordered a small bowl of sour soup, it’s a few mushrooms and one shrimp but it charged $13. It’s so salty and I had to asked for a small bowl of rice but it cost me $4.
Not recommend
They can make papaya salad raw vegan style :)
Amazing food! We went on a Friday night, so of course it was busy.
Never fail to order Plaa Nueng Khing - consistently great (red snapper in a ginger sauce)
Disappointed with the slow and unfriendly service... (Sadly, the owner was not at the restaurant during lunch time.) The thermostat was set low, and my daughter and I were freezing. The appetizer was cold, and although the green shrimp curry was tasty, the eggplant was cut large -- not in the traditional Thai style. The tea also seemed watered down, and was not hot. We were the only two customers, and that already was a bad sign.
Very little protein in the actual dish. Doesn’t even taste that good. Definitely would not recommend.
Food and service were great.
Great Food and ambiance
I drive by this place every day and finally went in today for lunch. Excellent food and served reasonably fast. Seems traditional and will now be my new favorite Thai place. While nice, the atmosphere was dated and seating is limited.
Delicious food! Tried here for the first time and really enjoyed it.
I've been ordering from Bangkok House for years, and I have never been disappointed! The food is always phenomenal and the staff is very friendly!
Nice authentic food. Good atmosphere. Friendly service and reasonable prices
An expensive lunch. Nothing more than another type of Asian/Chinese cooking. I have stir fry seafood over noodles. They don't offer lunch menu and charge for hot tea. We all have to pay around $30 including tips.
Delicious food and great service.
The ingredients are fresh and prepared with much skill and care so that they shine in the dish rather than just the spices. The staff are so nice and genuine. Prices are high but so is the quality. Come for slapping vegan Thai food.
This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant.. it has increasingly become HORRIBLE. I keep trying to give them another chance but today was the last straw. I had to call and legit let them have it. I can’t even believe they served this bland meal! It’s supposed to be authentic and the last time I was there I noticed a Mexican gentleman in the kitchen cooking. There is nothing authentic about a Mexican cooking Thai food. I can’t believe how bad this is. I can’t even finish. I’m definitely done giving chances and I will NEVER be back.. Moo Yao Thai in Seabright or Muang Thai in Red Bank from here on out. I NEVER write reviews but I couldn’t let this go. I’m disappointed!
Food was ok here. Not sure why but they added 20% by default. I was not happy with the service and there high price menu. We were not even served with water. Food doesn’t worth the price tag. We order so less food but still had a 100$ bill.
We ordered take-out tonight. There was plenty of parking available. The Bangkok pad thai was excellent. Friendly staff.
This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants, if you like Thai food, go here you won't be disappointed.

I am putting out this review so that people don't travel out of the way for this. Similar to what we did.
Just had a lunch, no good. Too little food compared to the price, all ice in Thai tea and it is $6, 4% fee for using credit card.
I would give this restaurant a -5 if reviews allowed. I have tried to give this Thai restaurant multiple times to redeem themselves yet every time they have failed with incorrect orders, items in my food that I specifically said to leave out due to allergies (when I called they lied that they did not add it it in the order), giving half portions and no rice with meals.
Every order I place here something was wrong. Tonight not only was my order incorrect, but my dessert had no sauce nor was it a proper size for $12.00.
Please save your money and go to another Thai restaurant.
Real score 4.7
Duck crepe ap was very good. Needed more duck.
Chicken larb salad was good, but I had to order rice separate. Still loved it
Bangkok Duck is my favorite. The skin is crispy and the meat is tender.
I am just out of this place skipping my lunch with their service. I am shocked with basic dishes like basil fried rice and pad kee Mao made to the worst. The food was raw and just tossed with chilly sauce, it's a different dish of ingredients without flavor. When I tried to explain that I was not expecting this, the lady was unapologetic and asked what should be done to the food prepared and charged no matter what. Bad food with equally bad experience. I should have read the reviews before going to this place or atleast doubted my decison when there the restaurant was totally empty at peak lunch time. If I have a chance, I will give 0 rating.
The food is neither good or enough quantity to justify the prices.
Their food is always fresh and flavorful, made to order, the staff is very polite and attentive.
First time eating Thai food it was great and the service was great
Outstanding restaurant, The staff are fantastic, the food is excellent. Check this place out if you can.
We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and very disappointed. Food was too bland even though we requested spicy. Over priced. I wouldn’t go again.
Amazing food and service. Cannot ask for better or more authentic Thai food
A regular spot for me when I'm in the Tinton Falls area!
Amazing, feels like you were invited ozer to someone's house for dinner. Very personable and delicious 😋
This place has awesome food and the host was really nice and outgoing totally recommend ❤️
Great food, perfectly prepared !
Slow service, waitress was busy with dine-in guest so hardly she was able to pay attention to take away guests.
Just one staff there is not good services. Food test also bed
I have been going to this restaurant for years and have never had a complaint until today. I ordered takeout because I was tired and wanted to go home to eat. I ordered Tom Yum soup and was startled upon opening the package at home. $11 for one pint of soup??? I expected a quart size container. Very disappointed.
If you are looking for authentic Thai food, this is it!! This small mom and daughter shop serve the most delicious Thai food outside of Thai land!
If you are looking for your regular pad thai this place is not it- try the pad Thai here- it tastes just like the pad Thai I had in Bangkok!
Some recommendations: would love to see a kids menue. I’m interested to learn what kids and babies eat that is authentic!
Food was pricey 2 meals a soup and 2 thai iced tea 60.00
Authentic food but very pricey
Always a delight, so fresh and flavorful...Top notch
The restaurant looks really good in the inside, very unique. Food is really good, my favorite is the fried rice with chicken and the noodles with brown soy sauce. The service is great and the people there are friendly.
Service on point, flavor on point in every bite and food was hot when it come to the table. I will be back.
This place can be a bit hit or miss. The items that are good are VERY good. Some of the hits include roti duck, panang curry, and papaya salad. The pad thai and pad see ew were super disappointing though, wrong type of noodles, totally bland. I am a repeat customer, just skip the noodles…
Very good! Authentic, beautiful inside with very friendly staff!
Staff is super friendly and place is super cozy. Food was very authentic and tasty, we got everything spicy. Best Thai place I’ve been to, nothing was dry or bland.
Not sure what was the problem with the waitress. She was cold. Abrupt and almost rude. Very uncommunicative and disinterested. I won’t be going back to this place.
This is some of the best Thai food I've had in NJ!!
Great tasty food
Nice atmosphere, food and staff.
Best thai food in the area. It is our new "go-to". Spicy dishes are delightfully spicy and have great flavor. I have never been disappointed by the food here. Their noodle soup is really delicious and so are all the appetizers. Some of the entrees are not what you expect. I would stay away from "holapa" anything as I thought it was really bland. There is a shrimp dish I ordered for $25 and there were only 7 shrimp and no veggies which was disappointing.
Been here to eat in person twice and the service is a bit slow and charged a heft credit card fee. I see a lot of places doing this now and I understand that times are difficult but, it's annoying to have to pay a tip and also a credit card fee. Will bring cash next time I go or stick to doordash.
Great delicious food! I felt like in Thailand 🇹🇭
Extremely bad customer service. We called ahead to be seated - the person that seated us stuck 5 of us in 4 seat table in the corner. She did not give us any cutlery or water- we waited for 40 mins for her to come and take our order and she did not show up. Will never visit this place again- save yourself some time!
My wife and I had our first date at a Thai restaurant in Philadelphia many years ago. Since then our anniversary dinner has always been at a Thai restaurant. For several years our favorite was Siam Garden in Redbank, until they retired and closed in 2019. They recommended Bangkok House. Because of Covid we didn't get here until today. All I can say is Wow! The food is as authentic and delicious as Siam Garden, and the service was fantastic!
Delicious and authentic
Food is amazing
Great authentic thai food with friendly service.
I absolutely LOVE this place!!! It was a hidden gem a friend of mine introduced me to when I lived in the area. Even though I moved, I still take the hour plus drive to grab some dinner whenever I'm in the mood or area. Their food is delicious and the service is great!!
Restaurant not open.. just take out and that's about what the quality is now just a take out place nothing special
Only reason for the 4 stars is not because the food isn't great because it is.. Superior, if you ask me but since the pandemic they've cut back on food as far as the portion yet the prices seem to have gone up a bit.. and I get that the pandemic has affected many businesses which is why I drove almost 40 minutes to get take out for my birthday but was a little disappointed by this when I got back home.. I would've ordered extra food if I had known but it was too late at that point.
Apart from this, you should definitely give it a try. You won't regret it
The food is always great 👍. We ate there pre covid. Get take out a couple of times a month.
Probably the worst Thai food I've ever had. Extremely salty barely spicy even though I asked for authentic Thai hot(drunken noodle). Wrong kind of noodles used. Way overpriced for quality. Tom yum soup tasted nothing like it's supposed to , salty bland broth with stale vegetables... $10 for a small. Crazy. .. never cheating on bamboo leaf again.
"Great quality of food and nice place."
Good food! Well prepared. Limited but diverse menu.
The food was superb. I love the authenticity. I found this establishment to be totally authentic. Best. Thai Food at it’s best! The service is also superb. Maybe those posting negative remarks don’t know authentic Thai Food. Try it again and maybe you will like it.
Best Thai food in Eatontown
Good thai joint. Will recommend
I been going to Bangkok house for a long time and their best dish is a duck with orange sauce.
However I had their dish pad thai and it needs some work as far as if how its being cooked
Very good
Amazing soup
AMAZING!!! Bangkok house has by far been the best Thai restaurant around. The Pad Kee-Mao (drunken noodles) is my favorite dish and Thai style fried rice is fluffy and cooked to perfection every time. The service is great, they don’t rush you out of the door like most Asian(sushi) restaurants and they are very friendly. The layout of the restaurant is cool as it is raised, the seating arrangements, the decorations, the menus, and even the table clothes in Bangkok house are very authentic. This place is the new hidden gem for Thai food.
I got panang chicken take out. It's was bland. The vegetables and chicken are over cooked. They had different vegetables than i'm used to (no zucchini). Also they did not let me know there was a credit card fee when I called in the order. I really didn't appreciate that being sprung up on me when I picked up the order specially because I ordered $38 worth of food not $5 and was picking it up because they don't deliver.
BYOB
Best Thai food in the area! From the outside it looks deceiving, but it is truly a hidden gem. There are a variety of options on the menu; there is something for everybody to enjoy. My personal favorites are the Shrimp Pad Thai (Rice Noodle Dish) and the Koong Chu-Chee (Red Curry with Shrimp and Vegetables). Ask for extra vegetables!
Delicious Thai cuisine
Bangkok House is the best Thai food I have ever had. The Roti Duck is fantastic to share as a first course. The curry, seafood and also noodle dishes are all fantastic.
Good thai
Most embarrassing experience EVER!
We've never ordered from here, but our visitors from abroad wanted Thai food and we tried to indulge them through this restaurant.
OMG!
Our takeout chicken was more like soup. Lots of sauce, BARELY ANY chicken. I think you can count with one hand the pieces of chicken they provided in each dish.
Not only that, the description of the dish said it came with peanuts and not one was found.
The cost for this meal was EXTRAORDINARY HIGH for what we we're given.
I do not recommend this place at all.
I would have to say hands down the best thai food I've had. The food was delicious and omg definitely try their special dessert with the boiled rice balls. It's amazing and totally worth trying if you want something unique and different. Already talking about going back just to have that with coffee lol. Love it! Also super friendly staff too and the aesthetic is so cute.
First time that we ate at this place as recommended by our friends. Ordered for main dish-yellow curry with beef, pad Thai shrimp, pineapple fried rice and Bangkok duck. The pineapple fried rice is good however, I was bit disappointed that it wasn't served in a pineapple shell. Yellow curry is also good but I like it better if the curry was more viscous and if they used braised short ribs for meat. Pad Thai is much better. Bangkok was delicious and tender than the other place I usually go. Ordered mango rice-love it. Also ordered taro ice cream-delicious! Only four stars for now coz I have not tried the other dishes. Will come back for more and definitely a good recommendation. Service was excellent!
Do not waste your time or money! Service was awful & rude. Food isn’t good enough & was too spicy to say the least! Never again! They seem crazy which is a shame.
Absolutely terrible. I ordered the green beef curry. The beef was DRY and CHEWY. I was hungry and left most of it and ate the rice and the sauce. Never again.
Very nice!!!. 너무 맛있어요.
Good Thai food at Eaton town.
Really, really good Thai food! Highly recommend I will be back!
Wow really good! I don't eat a lot of Thai food but this was a great experience. Menu was very vast, a curry chicken dish, was full of flavor! My wife got a red curry shrimp dish, also very good. It's byob which is nice. Very accommodating staff too. A nice little place of your in for something different!
We decided to head down to Long Branch to walk along the boardwalk and grab a bite to eat. Impossibly crowded, so we looked for a restaurant and found Bankok House. We were able to get a table right away. The staff was very friendly, food came out promptly and most importantly, it was delicious. Reasonable prices, good food, my best only wish is we lived closer to the restaurant.
Food is tasty and service is good
Have to give this one an average rating. If you go there for lunch it's not too bad. But if you go there for dinner be prepared to pay through the nose. Their prices on the dinner menu our way out of hand. And the food is just very average at best.
The best place ever!!!!!!!!
Authentic Thai!
Food was fresh and flavorful.
Bangkok House really is one of the best places to eat anywhere. We seriously go there almost every single weekend. The food is authentic and delicious with a great atmosphere. I recommend Bangkok House to everyone.
Très bien
Not authentic
Excellent service and excellent food. We'll be coming back to try out more dishes!
Delish warm and professional
First time trying Thai food. No waiting on a Saturday night, lm told this was unusual. Servers were pleasant, helpful and professional. All our dishes were tasty, as a first timer we let our experienced friends choose and we sampled. Venue interesting ly ornate.
According to a sign, a best choice by the NY times.
Really delicious!! Shrimp and snapper tamarind was excellent. Ginger flounder also excellent. You will definitely enjoy it here.
