We ordered lunch yesterday and the food was incredible. I have gone to a lot of Thai restaurants, but the food from here is honestly the best. Drunken noodles and vegetable red curry were sooooo good. The vegetables, including green beans, were fresh. I asked for the curry to be spicy (4 on a scale of 1 to 4) and they actually made it spicy enough (unlike other places) as we love spicy food. There were also no errors in the order as we asked for no eggs, no chicken. They made it perfectly as requested. Thank you! So delicious and we will be back again. The woman who answers the phone is also very nice. The food is also very affordable! Please never change your recipes!

This is our go to Thai place. The experience is always pleasent. The food is flavorful and the spice level can be adjusted to your taste. The lunch specials are great and the service is extremely prompt. Our go to dishes are Kee Mao, red curry, holy basil and pad Thai.

I recently tried the holy basil with mock duck and it was excellent. Would highly recommend it

The waitress was constantly filling our water and we're very helpful in explaining the menu.

My friend had been raving about this place and I was finally able to try it out. Was very much worth the hype! We got the fried and steamed dumplings, fried shrimp wrapped in pastry, calamari, see-ew (flat noodle with onions and broccoli) got it with all three proteins, fried cheesecake and ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious and came out freshly made. Highly recommend!

Tom Yum soup with shrimp too good, Vege spring roll and Cashew nut mixed vegetables with brown rice. Every single dish was better than he other but Tom Yum was superb. Definitely try Summit Thai. Horrible service. One of the dishes were too spicy for me and I asked to change it. Asian lady started yelling at our table in front of the whole resturaunt saying how is that my fault and now we have to pay for it. A simple no would have sufficed. She also has her kids running around the shop. Would not recommend going here. I got the pad thai which tasted like straight ketchup. Go to the other thai place in breck.

Summit Thai has been our go to Thai restaurant for many years! We've been to many other Thai restaurants and, almost every time, we end up concluding that it doesn't live up to Summit Thai. Their Tom Yum bisque is phenomenal! Our other go to dishes are Kee Mao with beef and Spicy Basil Fried Rice.

Food is very taste and well priced, especially the lunch menu. There are lots of options in terms of meals. I love to get one of the curries and eat it with rice. Highly recommend, there are vegetarian options and full meat options for those sorts of dietary restrictions.

Best Basil Chicken wok in the area!

Never go here, we told them we are allergic to bell peppers but they put it in, we sent it back 4 times and they still kept putting it in. They finally got it right, but then meat got in the food even though we specifically told them we are vegetarian and ordered a meat free item.

I have a soy allergy, so going to this restaurant is a bit of a challenge. When I explained that I wanted to make sure the fried rice was soy free, the server kept repeating, "Yes, no soy, gluten free." When I tried to clarify, she brought over a different server, who also responded that the dish was, "gluten free" with quite an attitude. I did not want to make a scene, but I would not trust this place if you have food allergies.

Excellent food and great service. Duck is outstanding. Definitely worth a visit.

Went there for lunch on a weekday. The place was not too busy and got seated quickly. The food was prepared quickly as well. The food was really good but the portion was just too small, almost like an appetizer.

We have several Thai places around where I live in Maplewood that are 10 minutes away but we go out of our way to go to Summit Thai, the food and service are always great; it's worth the drive. We love their Maple Street dish, along with the pad thai and red curry.

Edit: 5 years later and this is still my number 1 Thai spot. I have been to over 40 thai spots in NJ and Summit Thai is number 1. The flavor and presentation with the food is unique and actually flavorful. Other restaurants are good, but summit thai's flavor is always very distinguished. The spice continues to blow my mind, and the dish I get is always served 10/10. The service is fantastic and very friendly. Have deff eaten lunch and dinner from here multiple days out of the week

The food is delicious, and I must try mock duck with drunken noodles, green curry, Spring Rolls, Pinapple fried rice if you are vegetarian. Staff is friendly and always accommodates the special requests of being vegan or with no fish sauce or any other dietary restrictions.

Busy Saturday night. Long wait for service. They were understaffed and had a lot of take out orders to fulfill. Got the whole fried fish it was listed as market price. I should have asked, it was 48 dollars. I think for red snapper that is a little bit overpriced, pandemic prices or not. Wife had salmon curry which was rich and tasty. I would not get a fried fish again but would come back for take out.

Spacious high ceiling vibrant color, a very cheerful setting. Thai authentic cuisine spicy food that I love.

I love coming here for Drunken Noodle when I crave it. Tonight, I came in with my daughter and husband and the waitress was so very kind. She was interactive with my daughter who was also eating from our plates and even brought a piece of Watermelon for her, The food was amazing, service was amazing. I highly recommend Summit Thai. I've never had an issue and I need to come by or order more often 🥰

I recently visited this restaurant with a a friend for lunch and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The attendants were rushing around the tables, taking away plates without asking if we were finished with our meal. We felt like we were being hurried out of the restaurant, even though we were not finished with our meal.

To make matters worse, the attendants gave us our checks without asking if we wanted to order any more food or drinks, and seemed to be in a hurry to get us out of the restaurant. This was very rude and unprofessional, and left a bad taste in our mouths.

Overall, I felt like the attendants did not value us as customers and did not care about our experience. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a leisurely meal with good service, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Nice decor and very tasty food. My choo chee curry had the right balance of bold, savory, and spicy. The food was on the expensive side, taking into account the serving sizes.

We get the pad thai from here and think it is best pad thai in our area (especially the tofu one). The lunch specials are definitely a great deal because it comes with an extra side. This restaurant is on DoorDash so very convenient to get delivery!

Tried this restaurant a few weeks ago and it was a good experience. Great server who was friendly and funny. Food was delicious. No frills decor but I’d go back for the good food and service. Reasonably priced.

I called them before I came, they said we can come before 8:30 and when I arrived at 8:20 pm, They said the kitchen closed at 8:15 and they don't take us while we have to drive 30 mins to come there. I won't come here anymore. Bad service.

This is my regular go-to Thai place in the area. The food is simply amazing no words would do justice. I am a big Thai food fan but never found any place as good as this. I have tried different dishes here and never had any disappointment. They have good veg options too. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures as I can never wait to take a picture I simply dive in. A must try for genuine good Thai spot.

Came for dinner with the wifey and definitely coming back again. We tried the Thai iced tea and tom yum soup with shrimps and the fried chicken dumplings for starters. Followed by holy basil with beef (most recommended) and the red curry with chicken and we tried the drunken noodles as well since most reviews spoke highly of those. We definitely ordered a bit too much but didn't mind the leftovers for lunch next day.

We come down to shop at Kam Man and we usually eat in the market but they no longer offer the lunch special. Then we usually would just walk over to Penang but decided to try something else today.

I've seen Summit Thai as we drive in many times. It's about half a mile away from Kam Man so we drove over to check it out. Glad we did!

Hubby ordered Beef Massaman Curry. The potatoes in this dish was a little undercooked the chef came out and was very apologetic. He made a new order of the potatoes, and this time it was perfect.

I ordered the Duck Nam Jim. This is crispy duck with a cilantro sauce. I've been to many Thai places but this is by far the best duck dish ever. The 🦆 was super crispy and the sauce was amazing, I'm definitely coming back to have this again!

Came here at about 7:45pm on a Tuesday in August. Location of this spot is an unassuming strip mall....it's not hard to miss if you aren't paying attention when driving by!

Summit Thai was moderately busy....7-8 tables already seated, but with a few open so I was able to sit right away. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu, pineapple fried rice, and some Thai iced tea.

Drinks came out fast, but the speed of the food was particularly impressive - couldn't have been more than 5 minutes from the time I ordered before the food was in front of me.

The pineapple fried rice was the star of the show in my opinion. Hot, moist, flavorful, and fresh. Pad Thai was good; I would have liked a few more hunks of tofu. Iced tea was ok....good flavor, but seemed pretty watered down. I might have just gotten the start of the pot.

Overall, very happy with my food and the service experience. I would definitely eat here again.

Small quantity for 25$ added brown rice and was given only this size. Chicken curry was a little bit larger then this container. They use to give enough but this is ridiculous. No longer a loyal customer.

Ordered carryout a few times here during lunch. Overall, the food has been tasty here especially the pineapple fried rice and red curry chicken. One star less as beware if you are super allergic to msg so ask them about it. Also the amount of food received in takeout is small compared to other restaurants in the area.

I have been to this place before and really liked it so was happy when my client chose this place to eat. When I walked in to pick up the food, the ambiance is nice and welcoming. I liked how they decorated the place. It was dimly lit and it went well with how it was decorated. The server had my order ready and the price was reasonable. I ordered the vegetable drunken noodle with no egg and it was sooo good. The food here is a must try.
