First visit to a well run, wonderful staff, tasty restaurant. Selections are varied. The sauces well flavored and not too hot. (Although the chef can flavour as hot as they make in Bangkok)
The calamari is made just the way I like, not rings. Everything is made fresh to order, amazing when I felt we did not wait as long as one might expect. The owners have the tining just right, not rushed, not too slow.
The ambiance is wonderful in this old 1932 shop that was a hardware store before a sweet shop. The old wood remains, the art collection engaging.

I can’t do spicy and always get pineapple fried rice with chicken. My friend had drunken noodles with spice level of 1 and it was very tasty! We almost finished everything but had enough leftover we couldn’t let it go to waste. The decor is really interesting and inviting- not kitschy. We just moved into the area. We keep going back and are so stoked to have such a great restaurant in the area. Parking lot across the street or along the roads in town are free. Cute town! This is a must enjoy place if you’re in the area. Or, make it a road trip day.

Amazing food and service! Please don't ever leave Belvidere!

Yes, you do need to make a reservation, but the food is probably the best thai food I have ever had, the service is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. You can tell they really care about providing an excellent experience. The prices are also very reasonable. I noticed they seem to have alot of regulars and now I plan to be one myself.

We are so delighted to have found such a wonderful restaurant and so close to where we live! the quality of the cooking is exemplary. the shrimp is perfectly cooked, the pad thai and all other dishes were delicious and even the water was pure (and there was no extra charge for it). they have a filtering system. love this place and Cat, the owner! ❤️ 🌹 and Woody.

I just moved to Belvidere in July and this is the best place we’ve eaten at yet in this town! I just moved here from NY where there is an ABUNDANCE of delicious cuisine. This place is top tier in atmosphere, it also smells AMAZING in there, like a spa almost, 😌 it’s decorated BEAUTIFULLY and the service is AMAZING! I literally saved it in a list with my husband and put a note by it that says “eat here every week” lol I have had so many dishes in this area recently that I just couldn’t finish, but HERE, this food was great 10 out of 10 recommend. This place needs Keith Lee to do a review so they get more customers cause my God!! 👩🏾‍🍳😚 Chef’s Kiss!

Love love LOVE this place! What an absolute hidden gem. The prices are fair, food is delicious, service is very kind and personable, and the interior is quite art deco and cute. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some authentic Thai food especially after hiking at the Delaware Water Gap.

My boyfriend got the beef fried rice and I got the chicken fried rice, nothing short than amazing. For a appetizer we got the chicken and shrimp dumplings. It comes with 5 dumplings. You can eat a dumpling in one bite. The sauce with the dumplings was also so good. Nice little kick to it! We ordered take out cause we were staying home for dinner and a movie. Next time we'll eat inside. It's a great place with great food. We're both happy we tried it! All the reviews are true!

Great food. I mean really great. We are 90 minutes away and have a friend in town who told us about this gem. Very friendly and pleasant staff. The food is authentic. Everything I have tried from here was on point. We've been very satisfied with everything. Sometimes the food takes long because they cook from scratch. Well worth the wait if you have to wait. 5 stars all day

It pains me to write this but you CANNOT have someone wait 1 hour to even start cooking their order with the restaurant completely empty and only 4 other orders on the desk. That is insane as one would have to wait 1 1/2 or more to get their order in hand. How does this place even survive during busy hours? Do people wait 2 hours for their orders? Need to do better here in running a business. Preposterous and utmost startling.

GLUTEN FREE?
We love us some Thai food and many Thai places we've been to use Tamari instead of Soy sauce. When we told the server of our gluten restriction, she was so cool and kindly explained that their proprietary seasoning, which was in nearly every dish, contained soy sauce, and they only had two gluten free items. Thai Salad and Phra Ram, both peanut sauce dishes (though some cross-contamination was still possible).
The absolutely lovely woman who served us (who's also one of the owners) said that they'd tried using gluten-free soy sauce alternatives for their house seasoning but just couldn't get the same results and she gave us the history of their building, the town and river. Very personable and engaging. Some people are simply built to make people happy. This is what customer service is supposed to look like.
I had my heart set on Drunken Noodles, but those peanut dishes, which we might not have tried otherwise, were exceptional. Outstanding people. Exemplary service.

Had dinner this past Saturday night, made reservations a month ago and was looking forward to it. The food is fabulous! I had the Pineapple Fried Rice with vegetables which wasn't spicy at all. One of the owners is the server and she was an absolute delight. She told us all about how the spices can vary in Thailand depending on the area you're in, which was very interesting. I will definitely go back as I want to try everything on their menu now! Would give this place 10 stars if I could.

I can't say enough about this place. We ordered take-out through the phone and the woman couldn't have been sweeter. I imagine they were stressed, but didn't let it show. They are very popular and for good reasons. Their estimated wait time is very accurate. We called around 5 on a Saturday. We we told 40-50 minutes until they could start the order since there was such a line. They called us exactly within that range to tell us the food was ready. Everything was absolutely delicious. I don't like curry, yet the pictures from reviews enticed me and we ordered them anyway. They were delicious! I guess not much curry flavor if it liked them?? My husband doesn't like spice at all, but we ordered drunken noodles at a spice level 1 and he loved them. Everything was just fabulous. We will get food from there again for sure.

Our first trip out to Thai at the Palace and we weren't disappointed. The food was really good. Plenty of flavor, the right amount of spice, and prepared to order. The atmosphere inside is awesome. The building has a lot of history and the owner wasn't shy at all about sharing it with it. Overall, we will be back and will definitely reccomend!

Ordered drunken noodles and pad Thai (chicken and beef each) to go. Great food and service was helpful / pleasant to deal with. Got a level 3 (5 being hottest) spice for one pad Thai and that packed a little heat but nothing crazy. I enjoy spicy food so probably would try 5 next time. Not a ton of seating but cute inside and decor is a true blast from the past. Will be back and would like to try some of the apps.

Excellent food and very authentic. Probably the best Thai fried rice I've had outside of Thailand (and rivals the Thai fried rice in Thailand too). The best Thai ice tea too. The service was great. We got take out and it was still hot after the 30 minute drive home. The best Thai restaurant in the area for sure!

After reading the highly rated reviews for this only sit down restaurant left in Belvidere, NJ, my wife and I travel in from PA to experience Thai cuisine.
We arrived at 4:45pm on Friday 6/9/2023, a few minutes after it opened for evening business.
The building is for sure very old but inside the dimly lit lights and old dark wood with booths along the walls though a small area, added a peaceful charm to the ambiance.
Kat, one of the two owners is a one person show with her chef behind the scenes kitchen.
If you do not prepare yourself to wait quite a long time, you maybe disappointed.
I ordered an appetizer called - Curry PUFFS. Light pastry covering vegetables, mild spices and potatoes. Came with a vinegar dipping sauce. Really quit good!
I ordered the Tofu soup with cabbage. Great earthy taste and I only wanted more (portion size was perfect).
Some of the reviewers mentioned the food is very spicy, even a #1 low out of 5 high. They are mistaken in my definition.
I ordered Drukken Noodles with pork @ #1 spice level. I for sure could have ordered #2 or #3 level. Meal was so very good.
Wife would have ordered Drunkin noodle dish but because she was afraid of a #1 spice rating she ordered Pad Kra Prow
noodle dish.
She was Not disappointed. Ordered coffee & banana type pastry with honey. To die for.
Kat was so polite and calmnying and very informative about anything you spoke to her about.

The ambience of this historic location is surreal. I totally enjoyed my meal as well. We have ordered now 3 times and the food is always scrumptious.Yes it can be spicy so if you are sensitive but like spice one chili only. I go with three chilis, perfect for me. (then use my leftovers for other soups and dishes, which is great for adding flavor to more sensitive people's dishes.) Everything is really good! really fresh and authentic.

Everything on point - the cozy and warm décor, the wonderful owner and staff and the delicious food all make for a great experience. I know my Thai food and this is really good stuff. The appetizers are all amazing, I couldn't even tell you which one to choose, they're all excellent. The Masaman Curry is the best I've ever had and make sure you get a bowl of the Tom Kha Gai soup - it's fantastic.

Picked up takeout for the first time and the food was fresh and delicious. Our order consisted of curry puffs, shrimp massaman and pad Thai. The shrimp were a good size and fresh not like the cheap farmed shrimp you sometimes get in Chinese takeout. Will definitely continue to take out. Great food. Also the restaurant itself is in one of Belvidere’s historic buildings and has a nice atmosphere inside if you consider eating at the restaurant.

Spice level 2 out of 5 is pretty spicy. If you're new to Thai err on the side of caution. The thai dumplings were awesome. Green curry fresh and good too
