Casual Thai eatery and take-out. Featuring many popular and authentic Thai dishes.
As out of towners, my husband and I love trying new restaurants and this trip we found Awesome Thai and decided to try it. We had the most amazing Thai food, from the rangoons to the drunken noodles. We also tried the beef jerky and Tom Kha soup. Everything was so awesome! Guess that's how they came up with the name! I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant when in the area!
PSA Learned it was under new ownership and was impressed at how well it was run within only the first month!
Well, as many of the other reviews have put, I ordered off Uber eats. And, like many others, the food was rather disappointing.
Sure, the portion was large, but the noodles were dry, and the (little bit of) sauce had no real flavor. Just some kind of spice/heat. The noodles were unevenly cooked. Half were soft and the other half were stuck together and hard. I paid for extra chicken, so I at least got a decent portion of that.
I suggest avoiding this place. Yes, they are open late, but if you value quality, it's worth waiting until tomorrow for another restaurant to be open.
I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu, and they did not disappoint. The tofu was perfectly crisp, and the basil and seasoning were a chef’s kiss. The noodles were soft and felt unprocessed. I'm staying at the Virgin Hotel, where the food isn't very appetizing, so I've been using DoorDash. So far, this has been my favorite dish. Chef’s kiss to Awesome Thai!
Some of the best yellow curry I've ever had 🥰 They let us know they recently came under new ownership and Sanchez and Yee took very good care of us. Delicious food and very sweet staff.
Came back and the food was an embarrassment. I don't know what happened new chefs or what? It was such a disappointing second experience. It was so good our first time. I ordered the orange chicken again and we decided to try something new, the papaya salad and the calamari as our appetizer. The only good and edible food was the calamari. Orange chicken was completely different compared to last time, and portion was way smaller. The sauce was extremely sticky and didn't have any taste. Papaya salad was drowned in vinegar and was very sad looking. I should've just cooked at home. Not to mention the slow, inattentive service. The guy who was waiting on us wrote down our order, repeated it to us and still forgot forgot our Thai iced tea. I didn’t care to remind him because I was already unhappy with how slow and gross the food was. It wasn't even busy with two other tables who were halfway finished when we arrived. Sad because this one of the only late night Thai restaurants here.
Update: Since I was dissatisfied with this experience, I contacted them and have yet to receive any response. I disputed the charge and successfully received my money back! Will never dine here again.
I ordered this restaurant through postmates, the reviews seemed good. 4.4 for 3,000+ reviews seems like pretty good odds. Maybe my fault for ordering late, but i got the large tom yum soup and it was awful. Watery and sour. No nuance of flavour at all. And wasn’t cheap to boot…
Had to leave a great review for this restaurant because the other reviews did not seem fair.
Like others, I ordered from this restaurant because the one I typically ordered from was already closed. Yes, it was 1 AM but who even sleeps in Vegas? Anyway, we were staying at Encore and wanted the food ASAP so this was right up our alley.
We're suckers for pad see ew so we typically base the quality of food off of this one dish, but for some reason we felt like ordering the orange chicken. The orange chicken was absolutely delicious and while I do agree that there is a lot of steamed rice to go with it, I can't consider that to be a negative thing when there was a lot of orange chicken to begin with.
Now I'm not sure if the potstickers were given to us as a thank you for ordering from their restaurant or by pure mistake, so if this was the former then I am running with it because I found it a rather fortuitous occurrence. It came with its own sauce that isn't pictured but wow did I forget how good a potsticker could be!
In any case, I hope that more people review this restaurant and give it a shot. The pad see ew wasn't my absolute favorite but it's still a great option if you're looking for that post-nightlife meal.
I placed an order with this bogus restaurant that cost me $85.. I used chow now for the delivery. The driver stole my food! Never called to ask directions or anything. The driver said the food was delivered when it wasn’t. When I called the restaurant they told me that they will not refund my money and chow now isn’t refunding my money. I am very upset and want to let everyone know that this restaurant will steal your money and not deliver your food. Do not take the chance! They have horrible customer service and do not respect long time customers. This place sucks!! Do not spend your money here!
It was the best Thai food I tried in a long time! Kannika the owner is super friendly and the service was above and beyond! Definitely will be back!
Now open for lunch!!!

Loved it! Really enjoyed the yellow curry, and Sanchez was a joy to talk to!

The atmosphere in the shop and the food taste very delicious
The original taste of Thai food that’s great and good view I love it ❤️❤️❤️
Local family spot just support them they deserve it. Very Cozy and the thai tea is amazingly refreshing

Got the chicken pad thai & dumplings plenty to share. First time there since moving out here from CA as good as anything I had in LA. I will definitely be back.
Place is completely closed & rundown
Service was amazing. The food was delicious. The location isn't great. The authentic food really makes up for it.
First time I ordered phad thai...so disappointed
Meat are dry and only give 2 pcs of shrimp...
I will never order there again..I let someone taste it just to make sure...she says it's disgusting*
Juicey and tasty and spicy.
Authentic dive restaurant. Good food. I think Mama cooks up storm in the back and her son runs the front of the house.

Couldn’t say much about the atmosphere to place I went in for carry out, but the food was great. Had the shrimp fried rice and the mango sticky rice and it was very good.
Great pad Thai! Came really hot because they added foil to the container. I wish the pad Thai had veggies, but otherwise so much better than expected!
I really enjoyed the Thai curry and the service
Over charged. Low quality food
Never had food this bad served to me at a restaurant. Don't know why Lao people think they can cook Thai food!!! Cannot understand how the SNHD allows this place to stay open...
Door dashed pad Thai and pad Thai was dry and flavorless.
真的好难吃,干炒河粉!纯粹是酱油拌河粉,牛肉也难吃
Great portions delicious food. Takeout pad Thai and yellow curry all good
Amazing food. Great flavors.
Very disapointed, I ordered through uber, I didn't realize it was close to closing, all of the order was wrong. The food was so rushed, the orange chicken was so hard. The worst part is, I ordered Cowfun beef no spice and I received chicken achow fund like the max hot that it could ever be, I felt like I could not breathe. About 60$ down the drain. I will never ever order from this nasty place.
Tom Yum veggie lite on veggies.
Brocolli 😧 dead, Tempura Shrimp 4 skinny pieces, Beef Salad togo dressing spilled inside of bag soaked napkins watta mess
Way too pricy but cooked well.
We must have arrived a little late as the sign on the door said pickup only, but someone saw us and invited us in. We had a very nice dinner, my PadThai was fresh and tasty. Our server was very friendly and attentive and my friends enjoyed their meals as well. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is very good.
I’m a huge fan of Thai food I came home late and I ordered because they were the only one open the food. It’s like somebody else cooked it. It’s not authentic then. Pad Thai had a burnt taste the color was very light and the only thing I tasted was burnt. There was no other flavor to it like it’s supposed to be as for the sauté with the peanut sauce the peanut sauce made spicy I’ve never had peanut sauce spicy the food was absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t even eat it. I am very heartbroken, such a waste of $50
Wouldn’t ever recommend ordering from here.
Food was just gross and had a lot of concern.
And the response from the restaurant was just a big red flag and racist. Proof is in the pudding.
We ordered
Mongolian beef, white rice, chicken skewers, chicken fried rice, Thai tea. Came out to 70$
My rice was less then a size of a kids hand. And on top of that they reheated it in saran wrap (they tried to boil it /doesn’t work so it was microwaved this toxic plastic.) then placed in a Carry out box still wrapped in plastic wrap. (Had a hair in it)
Mongolian beef with so watered down. Just gross not even spicy.
chicken skewers were over cooked soggy and no flavor at all.
Thai tea was just gross and warm. Even tho I ask for ice.
Chicken fried rice at this point. I didn’t even eat it. Didn’t want to risk getting sick. He took one bite of it. Didn’t like it.
Their racist response to any of the concerns I had was “you’ll have better luck next time next door.
Going to love the response to this review. Lol
Trash. Don't even think about it.
I alway and will always order from awesome Thai ! They are always on top of their orders ! When I order delivery it always comes hot ! If I ask for special instructions they’ll make sure to follow through and leave a little note ! I love this place , if I can give them a 10 star I would
I ordered through Uber eats and they knowingly were delivering to a hotel. The restaurant put in zero napkins and utensils.
I went here some months ago, at night where most of restaurants already closed. We just came to Las Vegas that night and felt hungry. So we ordered an Uber to go there. Long story short the owner was very kind, they're allowing us to eat there and prepared everything when they're supposed to not accepting dine-in at that time (I forgot why but I think it's because already past the time for dine-in). They're really thoughtful and since I'm Asian, I really miss Asian food. The food was superb. We really had a great time after being tired and hungry from the flight. Thank you so much Awesome Thai 🫶
We just pickup an order but SERIOUSLY good soup and crab rangoons!!!
Great and good and customer service
Food and staff are above and beyond regarding the property, I found the flavors to be very authentic having been to Thailand many times already. The service was very friendly and helpful with my wishes. Just the interior could be a bit more upbeat; the restaurant in specializing on deliveries, so it can be understood that the atmosphere in the restaurant itself is not of main importance to the management.
I'm not usually picky but I can say with complete confidence that this is the worst thai food I've had in town. Unfit for human consumption.
Great little place with good food.
Bill price is different from the menu price. Server will conveniently point out our prices are subjected to change. 20% service charge is automatically added. When asked to talk with the owner, conveniently says owner is not available. Not going back there again and will recommend others to find a different place.
Having a different price on the bill versus the price on the menu and not informing the customer about the difference prior to ordering the food is a classic example of bait and switch. That unfortunately does not constitute as good business practice.
Ordered through Uber eats to the strip. The food arrived hot and delicious. I did order a level 3 spicy and that was a little too spicy to handle (my fault). Food was way better than anything found on the strip.
There is no dine in option. Can speak as far as what the food is. No dine in option. July 3, 2023.
Sorry.
Absolutely terrible they pre-judge people
If I could give this restaurant 0 star I would. This is my first time ordered from this restaurant and I’ll never buy from them ever again. I order food and I put instruction said as spicy as they can make and not too sour because I can not eat sour. So, the food came out really sour I mean all flavors I taste was just lime, nothing else. Like they thought they didn’t add lime juice and they double added in there without tasting it. I had to throw away this in the trash can. Plus I asked for spicy and there was barely chili peppers in there but instead, they gave me a little bit ( I’m talking about real little chili in the container that you can barely scrape them all of the container) of chili flakes on the side for me. Trust me I understand how tough this business is since food cost is way too high as I’m a business owner too but at least be honest to customers. They pay money for your food, not begging for free or ask for discount. And I don’t even want to talk about how small squids they cut, looked like one piece of squid and they cut it in half to make it look a lot. I was really disappointed.
I actually stopped by close to closing time. The food was absolutely fresh and tasty. The lady that answered said she would wait for me to get there to pick up my food.I was only 7 mins away and the place is a little hidden inside the neighborhood in a small plaza. I work close by at Sunrise Hospital and told her my coworkers and I have a hard time finding good food after midnight and I was glad I found Awesome Thai. Now it's gonna be out goto place.
I deliver often for this store. They do a great take out business so they must be doing something right. Last night a lady was putting the order together I had never seen before. I told her I was going to use the CUSTOMER restroom while she out the order together. She said, “IT’S CLOSED.” Closed? Like maybe the health dept should come check the plumbing or maybe she thought I would dirty her restroom. Was I the wrong skin color? Or maybe she was just on a power trip. Whatever the ridiculous reason she must not realize that people who buy & deliver her food are the reason why she gets a paycheck. Without us, she has no job. Her boss needs to remind her or put her in the back doing dishes.
The costumer service was great!
God awful, If you’re thinking of ordering out doing a lil “treat yo self” Save yourself the disappointment, You got food at home.
Ordered tonight from DoorDash, “Chicken Pad Thai, Egg Rolls & Thai Tea” My driver had my food delivered with care in 15 minutes. My food was still warm. Zero problem with the driver he was great! The nightmare that cost me $35 Bucks? Is the bland, uninspiring, tasteless food, Out of pure just curiosity… Is the chef mad? Are you guys playing Opposite Day in the kitchen, Did a Server cook tonight? Did the chef receive my order & Decide “Screw this” I think the chef should pursue a different career. The food isn’t even “Meh”level. I’ve had plenty of delicious thai food, This order tonight? Made me think “You know what sounds better than this garbage? Panda Express.”
Pictured is the Chicken Pad Thai & Egg Rolls *Note the yellow noodles, dump of bean sprouts, zero peanuts, green onions, seasoning, & egg*
I would recommend this place to someone who eats food for substance not for taste.
Only ordered my fav soup.. Thom Kah Gai. Wonderful! spice level they go on the low side.. still great flavor! Little chili good to go. Will keep ordering from now on. Also open late super plus.
Thanks for the hospitality!
Not awesome...not worth it...nothing is good... at all...please don't test fate...you could literally go dumpster diving and it would taste and be a better experience
The dumpster would've been warmer than the plate my food was served on
Awesome
I have only been there 2 times and have ordered pad Thai but you get nothing but the noodles and maybe 2-3 small thin pieces of the item of choice, but when that happens at $25 for duck it’s ridiculous, not the first one I have been in so I know that is a little off when it comes barely with anything else than noodles for that price
Awesome food! Awesome service & awesome
prices! I love it! Me & my wife love coming here for
authentic Thai good! I recommend the Pad Thai!
Reasonable pricing with great food choices
Just not very good compared to other Thai restaurants. A lot of oil and not much flavor.
This place has disgusting food. Pad Thai tastes like vomit, pad se ew tasted like it was cooked in stale beef broth, low quality vegetables with visible brown bits (green veggies, so brown = bad/old)
Save your money and don’t eat here, or just eat somewhere else where your money will get you decent food.
Amazing Thai dinner with Thai tea,
Pretty good. The Pad see ew was tasty. Crisp fresh veggies. The orange chicken needed actual orange. A sweet sticky sauce but no orange. Prices were reasonable. Zero atmosphere. Annoying background radio. Very sweet wait staff.
Was looking for something close to our hotel (Westgate) and so glad we found this gem. My husband ordered the Pork Pad See-ew and I ordered the Cashew Chicken. The flavours were amazing, the vegetables were super fresh and plentiful.
The lady who took our order was super friendly and kind. We went in to order and it didn't take more than 10 minutes for everything to be ready. Everything was decently priced as well. Highly recommend.
Pleasant service. Good enough food. Not a great area.
It was our first time ordering from this place, and we thought it would be a good idea to do so, since the name is “Awesome Thai”, well, it was the complete opposite. We ordered 4 Chicken Katsu, and they called us right away to tell us that they only had 2, which is completely fine. We paid $17 for the each of the Chicken Katsu orders, and we bought 2 of those (so $34 total) . We thought that there was going to be a lot of chicken, since we paid that much. However, when we opened the orders each of them had 6 skinny soggy chicken Katsu pieces, and the rest of the plate was rice. I’m not trying to be one of those Karens, but I’m also not stupid. If I pay $17 for a plate, I expect it to look like it’s worth $17, and not $5. On top of that, you can take a look at the presentation of the dish in the photo I’m about to post. PLEASE don’t waste your time and money in this place.
Went at 2 in the morning and was heavenly surprised and will be going back before I fly back home
Khob khun ka ขอบคุณค่ะ
A local, family-ran Thai eatery boasting an authentic vibrant, flavorsome and mouth-drooling menu at low-key fare off the strip.
I got the Fish Cakes and Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว. The fish cakes which were incredibly yummy, very well seasoned with a knockout sweet cucumber and peanut sauce and plentiful portions of fish with a nice texture.
Unfortunately the Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว was a let down, overly seasoned the black pepper was burning my nose, the rice noodles (not the authentic fat wide rice noodles) were mushy due to being dosed in Oyster sauce and lacking any spice, yet me asking for a 10/10 spice level and felt very much of a Western-based Thai food meal.
Support local businesses!
Been here 3 times in one week. So so delicious!!!! Thank you!
Delicious food, wonderful service, and the owner and staff work very hard to make your experience great.
I love that they are open late and i love their crispy pork spicy salt. Best thai ever! The padthai are great too.
Great service and decent food. It can use more food variety in the menu.
Great Thai food. Select your level of spice. Food is great but room atheistic is basic. Great food for the short walk from Hampton Inn or Home 2.
This place is outright nasty. Bland, overcooked, barely edible. Chow mein tasted like bitter cabbage and the pickling juice for the baby corn. Satay was good but dry. Orange chicken was old and hard. Rice was cold and hard. Absolutely NOT Awesome Thai
I’m glad to be able to find this dish in town ข้าวหมูแดงหมูกรอบ.
The taste though could be a lot better. Rice is very mushy (porridge consistency) The sauce น้ำราดหมูแดง is very interesting and out of the ordinary. This sauce is very essential to this dish, so I was a little bit disappointed. I also wish the dish came with ซีอิ้วพริกดอง because without this condiment, it just lacks of something.
Other than that, the price is decent. The server is kind and able to provide extra sauce น้ำราดหมูแดง when asked. I even offered to pay for extra but she insisted to give it for free. So thank for that.
Ordered via Uber Eats and was looking forward to some good Thai food, this is not it. Ordered my Pad Thai a 1spicy, it was like a 2.5, the noodles were overcooked and a bit mushy. Overall not appetizing. The Crab fried rice was correct on the spicy scale, but just bland, not like not spicy bland, but like to real flavor. I paid $4.50 for a side of Peanut sauce that was like 2 tablespoons of peanut sauce.
There are so many great Thai places in Vegas, don't waste your money or your taste buds in this place.
Simply Delicious💯
Good taste, service and value
we're looking a Asian place to eat like fried rice and noodles and of course free parking right in front of restaurant, other restaurants closed at 9pm so we tried this place and we ordered Pad Thai and was a best taste we ever eat, the fried was also good. If we ever going back to Las Vegas we definitely come back.
As we entered the restaurant these other group of people are having a birthday party and karaoke singing with their favorite music (I don't mind hearing different music language) it's cool and sounds nice! 👍
The location is conveniently located for our purposes, and the atmosphere is good. However, the food is simply bland. We have had some very well flavored and spiced Thai food, and we looked forward to trying Awesome Thai. We ordered tofu pad Thai and pork fried rice. Both had unseasoned proteins, and they simply lacked any real Thai flavoring. We wouldn’t dine here again if given the opportunity.
Business trip, 1st visit. Service was as expected, quick, effective and accurate. Will visit again when in vegas
Food was very good
Tried to order something off the menu and they didnt even know what it was they had to ask around at that point didnt even want it and left.

Awesome food for Awesome Thai.
Food is delicious!!
Very casual atmosphere and owners & staff are pleasant hard working people.
We will definitely make this a regular!
Nice, classy, & low-key spot to eat.
Excellent Thai food, they even knew what I wanted when I asked for "laos style" on a couple of my dishes. Would get take-out again for sure!!
Great food and service
Wonderful staff and great service. Food was excellent as well.
We shared the Drunken Noodle with beef and Panang Curry with beef, and both were excellent. We shared the Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango for dessert and it was excellent as well. The portions were a very good size, but not huge. We left full and satisfied. The server was a one man show and did an excellent job. Definitely a great value for the price. Highly recommend.
Served me completely RED pork and insisted it was just fat
Most legit Thai place in las vegas. Incredible food.
The food here is fantastic thus far! We've been once and ordered all the curry dishes. The waiter was so friendly and answered all of our questions. She made our smoothies wonderfully even when she was very busy. The ambiance was wonderful and all the staff we saw looked content. Great place, wonderful food, amazing service. Will be back for more!
Their food is not authentic laos/thai food.
The larb was basically stir fried ground beef with onion, cilantro, green onion and some lime juice. The papaya salad had no flavor. It was basically just fish sauce and lime juice.
The pineapple fried rice was so mushy. I'm very disappointed in this restuarant and dont reccomend this place to anyone.
Excellent food and excellent service:)
I don't know how this place has 4.4 stars. I agree with the person that said they spent $300 and where disappointed.
The food was bearly even cooked. The chow ming was EXTREMELY salty. The seafood tum yum was a joke, it was literally murky lemon water with 2 shrimps and something that felt extremely rubbery. $80 for 3 nasty plates so horrible. The guy getting the order got the order wrong and tried to make it seem like we ordered wrong. We know what we are ordering, how could you order wrong hahaha what a joke. Upon receiving the food, we asked for condiments and he has the odasity to say with the most horrible of attitudes " I already put in there no more". We kept looking for them only to find a packet of chili per plate. Are you serious????
3 packets of condiments for food for 8 people. Wow ... this place wins the award for worst Thai place in Las Vegas. (Cherry on the top everyone woke up with stomach aches - so add food poisoning to the list of bad things)
Worst food, worst service, worst experience ever & extremely expensive. If I could give this place negative 100 stars, I would.
Best Thai food I had in Vegas. Quiet, out of the way spot serves authentic dishes with great attitude and friendly service. Highly recommend!
Placed an online order and got confirmation that it was accepted and would be ready in 20 minutes. I got to the restaurant 25 minutes later, and they said they never received the order despite having already taken payment. They then informed me that they didn't have any of the food that I ordered in stock and just gave me poorly seasoned chicken and rice and some egg rolls? Would be one star, but the egg rolls and sauce were good.
I have only eaten this restaurant's food once but I've been to the restaurant twice now. I ate Tom Ka soup and their duck. It was okay. Last night however, they had a fundraiser for people of Laos because there was a flood there. You must admire the big heart of this restaurants ownership to allow use the way that it did.
Great service!! Loved their red curry and their egg rolls!
Good food and staff
I will not be going to this place! The food does not taste authentic at all. Especially the papaya salad... I understand you get customers of different background but they can't tell the difference between whats the real taste to what's not. I also got raw chicken meat and the beef has an odd smell. I spend $300 and it was an disappointment. The pad sew ew though was salty and The beef stick was beef Jerry and the pad sew ew was the best out of all.
Horrible service, extremely rude staff, and undercooked food!
Muy buena comida!!!
Great service and very authentic Thai food. Easy parking and convenient.
Chicken Over Rice.......Yummy
We really enjoyed our dinner. We choose 3-4 on the spicy scale and it was zippy but I probably would not go any hotter. Very, very tasty.
Food is absolutely amazing I fully reccomend everything on the menu. Staff is incredible.
Food was not even good and so expensive.
Tasty food , excellent service , clean place
good guy jub soup
This was a unexpected gem to stumble on late at night. This is possibly the best Thai food I have had in a really long time and I am exuberant about my next few late night meals at this establishment. I ordered for take out through Postmates the food was in my hands 2 min after arriving hot and fresh off the stove. Wow just wow.
TL;DR simply the best Thai food I have had in the USofA and could easily hold its own against many street food vendors in Chatuchak in terms of taste. Also, the service is spectacular.
Now, let me tell you all a story. I spent my early teen years in Thailand and among other things grew very fond of Thai food. Also, I currently live in a small college town in the rural South, which means there is very little food diversity. So, whenever I go to a new city I try out their top-rated Thai food first, and then if I am there for longer I try something new.
When I was visiting Las Vegas simply as a stopover for my road trip along with the canyon national parks, I stayed at a hotel right next to Awesome Thai. I tried it out simply because it was a sub 5 minutes walk from the hotel I was staying at. I was so blown away by their service and taste that on my way back, I made it a point to eat there again. I was skeptical that I had hyped myself too much and the second time around it might feel to live up to my expectations. Nope, it was even better than I had remembered.
Awesome Thai lives up to their name!! The food is undesirable. The flavors were so rich and AWESOME. I usually never write reviews but I had to for them. The service was amazing. I would come back again any day!
I loved the pad thai and orange chicken. Tom kha soup was great too.
Good family owned Thai place. Friendly service, open late.
Owner is sooo nice! Gave us a complementary Thai tea! So good! The coffee is delicious. Had the orange chicken and it was amazing, curry was very good all for great price!
Well worth the 2 min walk over from the Hampton Inn & Suites where I was staying. Delicious beef larb salad & a green curry, I ordered the 4 spice level which was plenty for me. Good flavors, fresh ingredients & quick service for a walk-in take out order (FYI there is an additional discount for pickup orders to go). Sad to see wonderful little local eateries’ dining rooms empty during these times, I hope this one survives the pandemic because it’s a gem! Highly recommend.
Very recommended thai restaurant at vegas, the crispy pork with spicy salty are our favorites. And the other food also very good and the price make it perfect.
Not a commercialized, prepack food place. Very excellent and exceptional restaurant.
