Lamaii is the Modern Thai Eatery Cocktails and wines. Every dish created to accomplish with our specialty cocktails and wines program.
One of the better atmospheres of any Thai place I’ve been too! Very nice facilities. The food was mediocre. Not bad…. Just not memorable. Lacked authenticity or any special touch. The veggie soup and spring rolls were bland and no good. The staff were friendly and we were thankful they were open on the holiday. Wouldn’t return.
Mother's Day Dinner at Lamaii Thai Food.
This Mother's Day, my family and I decided to celebrate with a dinner at Lamaii Thai food in Henderson, and it turned out to be a delightful experience from start to finish.
The moment we stepped into Lamaii Thai, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The decor exuded a casual yet charming vibe, setting the perfect tone for our evening.
As we perused the menu, we were immediately drawn to some of their signature dishes. We started off with the Tom Yum Goong soup, which was a burst of flavors—spicy, tangy, and absolutely refreshing. The balance of lemongrass, lime, and chili in the broth was spot on, and the generous portion of plump shrimp added a delightful touch to the dish.
Next up were the garlic green beans, a simple yet incredibly tasty side dish. The beans were perfectly cooked—crisp yet tender—and infused with just the right amount of garlic flavor. It was a wonderful complement to the other dishes we ordered along with chicken fried rice, and it did not disappoint. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, with generous chunks of tender chicken throughout. The flavors were well-balanced, and each bite left us craving for more.
Throughout our meal, the service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our evening.
As we finished our meal, we couldn't help but reflect on what a wonderful dining experience we had at Lamaii Thai food. The combination of delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and excellent service truly made our Mother's Day celebration special.
In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend Lamaii Thai food to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Henderson. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving authentic Thai cuisine, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
Highly recommend! I was quickly greeted at the door. Decor is classy and chic. Service was attentive and professional. I had the Pimms Me cocktail which was delicious. I ordered the satay salad, which was a larger portion than anticipated. It had a lot of chicken and good flavor. Then I had the shrimp pad Thai, also a large portion. The food was flavorful, had the right spice (medium), and was all delicious. I highly recommend!
We always love to come here. Food is fabulous. The wine list is excellent and interesting. And the service is always outstanding. Never a miss
Update: the last 2 to 3 trips have been somewhat disappointing. Food quality is not quite the same as previously. Music too loud. Wine list is lacking. Many of the wines that you ask for they do not have
We were looking for a Thai restaurant with a little bit of ambiance as well as good food when you walk in the door you see their massive wine selection and the restaurant is decorated really nice you see booths and you think oh great I'll get a nice comfortable Booth but then you sit down and there's no padding in them they're very hard also the seats are just wide enough for two people that weigh 90 lb but if you weigh any more you couldn't fit two on each side. I had the fried prawn pad thai and the best I can say about it is average it didn't have a lot of flavor there wasn't a lot of greens or onion bits in with the pad thai or anything it was pretty plain my partner had the duck fried rice and again maybe even below average the rice had no character very little flavor very few vegetables in it and the duck was okay but at times tough. Then I had one of the signature cocktails and I was shocked what a tiny drink you get for 14 or $16 it literally was about three sips. Unfortunately it's getting where you just have to stick to beer and wine when you go to restaurants. The service was below average. We needed knives for cutlery because you just can't eat this stuff without a knife but they don't bring you one my partner wanted to ask for one no one came around and never got it and I was completely finished my meal before my partner got her meal. The tomka soup was good but for $16 it was pretty expensive but it was enough for two people. I wasn't a fan of the inedible lemongrass all throughout the soup that should really be taken out before the soup is brought to you or left in large pieces so that you can remove it easily without having to reach into your mouth and pull out all this fiber. Too much of the menu included fried food which I really didn't want to have at a Thai restaurant. A waitress took my partner's food to put in a box and we waited 10 minutes for it to come back we finally just left
So, so, so good! When to this based on IG influencer’s recommendation and it lived up to her hype! The crab fried rice was delicious! The friend chicken wings were so flavorful and the noodles dipped in sauce was just marvelous. The decor and ambiance were also impressive; consistent even to the toilets. Metal lotus flower and leaves sprinkled throughout the restaurant.
First time here just so you know...
Food: the food is good. I would say it's a bit of Asian fusion/Pan Asian Cuisine. In the "Small Plate" area we ordered the Salmon Noir, it was drizzled with Thai dressing, topped with crispy garlic. Another dish worth mentioning was the Goong Ceviche - shrimp, jicama, shallot, with spicy lime sauce. The presentation of the food was just so pretty. I always love Thai tea and Thai coffee (they taste so good) - I recommend it 100 percent.
Service was great! We were seated right away, no long wait, order taken, and food came fast as well. They get down to business, no time for chatter :). They keep your water filled.
Ambiance: soon as you walk in, you would be wowed. From the furniture, to the light fixtures to dinner plate settings. Very nice! They have a beautiful bar and a wine wall with some options.
Cons: no free refills on other drinks like teas or sodas.
I saw this place on social media, so we decided to try them out, but we're disappointed and probably won't come back nor recommend it. We ordered the lobster noodles and some crispy duck curry and a pineapple fried rice, but both dishes are in a salty side. The pineapple fried rice is good, same as the honey toast as well for dessert. We notified them about the salty dish, and they told us that they would let the cook know. My biggest takeaway as well is the very uncomfortable booth table chair. It's too low, and seats don't have enough cushion as if it's worn out. But he place looks cozy, especially when you enter with all the wine display and the outside sitting area looks great as well.
Very good people service and delicious food. Strongly recommend.

I wasn’t entirely sure about this place cause of a couple reviews but I’m glad I ended up coming anyway. Food is great, service is great, and the music volume was perfect. It’s my new favorite Thai place :)
Check it out- you won’t regret it.
Crispy Duck Curry for the Win!! Never disappoints!!
Amazing

This Thai restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is beautiful with authentic Thai furnishings, and the staff are so gracious. To top it off, the food is sublime. Definitely will be back again and again.
I ordered the food to go and I love spicy so I ordered everything hot. When I tell you they didn’t add a single hint of spice it was so disappointing. The papaya salad was just sweet no sweet and spicy as normal. I will never order from there again. Why ask a spice level if they will not listen
I ordered takeout. If you are looking for a great Thai restaurant, then look somewhere else.
Best in area
Price was outrageous even for Vegas. Wine priced high and very light pour.
Went here for lunch. It wasn’t too full so the food came out timely. Service was attentive. The food was good and as expected when I go to a Thai restaurant. Soup was a little salty but everything was flavorful. Ceviche was one of the better dishes we ordered.
We always love to come here. Food is fabulous. The wine list is excellent and interesting. And the service is always outstanding. Never a miss

Absolutely phenomenal food 👏👏 Every dish was equally delicious and packed with flavor!
Always a wonderful time thanks. Still great. Their wing zap are wonderful... Tx always for a great evening.
Went on a Friday night , nice ambiance , seated right away. Servers were short staffed and took a good bit of time for any interaction to see if we needed anything. Would try again ,maybe just an off day
Food is unbelievably delicious. Sometimes you forget how good Thai food can be. This place is a great reminder!

Food is good. Service is way below par for the price and what you expect in Vegas.
We love going here. Food is amazing, atmosphere is beautiful and staff are efficient and accommodating.

Very authentic central Thai Cuisine with an expansive wine selection. Service was friendly, spoke fluent English and Thai in a beautiful setting. Went on a Saturday night and it was not crowded which is a shame as this place needs more patrons. Going out on a limb and calling it best in Henderson.
I loved the food and the experience and atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking. I will be returning.
If you like Thai food and nice restaurants, do yourself a favor and go straight to Lamaii! Then, order the Crispy Duck Panang. Thank me later 😜
The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is amazing and fine-dining-like, and the service is fantastic! We definitely got our money's worth.
Excellent Thai food, and good service.
Just wanted to share my experience at this restaurant I recently visited for the first time. When I got there, I couldn't find anyone at the front to seat me. It wasn't clear whether it was a self-seating place or not because there were no signs around. I stood there for a good 10 minutes, hoping someone would show up, but no luck. Eventually, I decided to leave. It’s a beautiful place.
Read your receipt first or better yet don’t come here . Waiter working at the bar around 3pm put a 20% gratuity tip of $250 (being $50) without our permission. Food was ok

The food is terrible, the service was worst and they won't seat you if you don’t have a reservation. Don’t waste your time or money.

Our first time coming here was all 5 stars, everyone was super attentive and the service was super fast, and the food was just phenomenal!
The second visit was less than that, of course the food was still great but the service lacked a bit more this time, but regardless of that this is still my go to Thai restaurant!
Definitely cannot recommend the Thai Tea enough! It’s so good!
Lamaii is THE BEST Thai restaurant in Henderson by far.
Incredible atmosphere, great service, and the food is EXCELLENT!
The hidden gem on Saint Rose.
What a gem. Excellent Thai food, charming atmosphere. Attentive staff. The crab fried rice is SOOO flavorful. The drunken noodles are perfect.
I have Mixed Feelings About Lamaii - I recently visited Lamaii for lunch and my experience left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the Pad Thai I ordered was exceptional – possibly the best I've had so far. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was a delight. It's definitely a dish I would recommend and the primary reason I'm considering giving Lamaii another try.
However, the lunch special menu was a bit of a letdown. Compared to other Thai restaurants I've visited, the options were extremely limited. This was disappointing as I was looking forward to trying a variety of dishes. A broader selection would definitely enhance the lunchtime experience.
The service aspect also started off on the wrong foot. Initially, the staff seemed quite uninviting and not particularly friendly, which did dampen the mood. Thankfully, as the meal progressed, the service improved and became more cordial. It's important for a restaurant to make a good first impression, and unfortunately, Lamaii fell short in this regard.
Overall, I'm giving Lamaii a solid 3-star rating. The quality of the food, especially the Pad Thai, is a big plus and suggests potential for a better overall experience. However, the limited lunch menu and the initial service attitude are areas that need attention. I'm hopeful that my next visit will be more positive, with the high-quality food matched by an equally high-quality dining experience.
Had a prawn pad thai, soooo good!
Great food, service and a beautiful restaurant. The big surprise was the cocktails. Most Asian food establishments have awful drinks; this place knows how to make a drink. Our new go to for sure.
Great experience!! Food was authentic and delicious. Service was quick and good.
Excellent food, service and ambience. I got a tofu vegetarian drunken noodle and ot was soupy and awesome! Good place !
Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, service could be better however I belive its only due to be under staffed. Our waiter was nice, fun and knowledgeable but slammed.
I don’t write reviews very often but this actually deserved my energy and effort. This was our number one place that was on our Foodie trip bucket list. We saw a bunch of TikTok’s and the food looked really promising. Too bad we didn’t get to try it because of the way we were treated and the service we received by this gentleman. (He seemed like the manager too)
As soon as we came in, we were informed that there was one party ahead of us and it was going to be a 30 min wait. That wasn’t an issue at all with us because traveling from out of state— we were used to long wait times for experiences that are worth it. As we were waiting, he offered drinks and cocktails to the party ahead of us. He catered to the party behind us and offered them a seat at the bar & also asked them about drinks while they were waiting but what about us? No acknowledgement? No same service? Why?
So we asked him— why didn’t we receive the same treatment as them? Why were we not as privileged? All he kept talking about was the wait time. But I wasn’t mad at all about waiting? We were frustrated about the service. His response and tone and the way he asked us to leave was the most disturbing part. He just said okay, do you wanna leave then? At first, we said no it’s okay we’ll wait. & he just walked away. After that, we just felt unwanted and left.
All we wanted to know was how come you catered to the other parties differently? Why do you discriminate against us? We work too hard for our money to support a business that doesn’t value or respect us. Hospitality is really simple. All he had to say was “I’m sorry. Can I offer you drinks too?” Instead of disrespect, defensiveness, pride and ego.
I saw this place on social media, so we decided to try them out, but we're disappointed and probably won't come back nor recommend it. We ordered the lobster noodles and some crispy duck curry and a pineapple fried rice, but both dishes are in a salty side. Well what can I say. Great food with big portions, plenty to take home for later.
The service and accommodations for elders is well done. The atmosphere is modern-rustic, the music is new age - honestly could be a bit quieter. The music will compete with conversation on occasion.
The food is great, didn't have anything I didn't like. The price is right for the quality and portions. We will be coming back. I want to try several dishes here.
We happened to be coming for a birthday. The kind chefs and staff made a beautiful ice cream dish for us. Thanks for the experience!
Beautiful atmosphere, horrible service. Can't speak on the food because we never got any. We came in without a reservation, but the restaurant was not full. If there was not enough staff available to accomodate us without a reservation, we would have understood, but instead they allowed us to sit waiting for over 20 minutes without taking our order. Thankfully Nann & Curry was next door and we had an amazing meal there.
Found this yummy Thai restaurant in Henderson for lunch. Had the place basically to myself. I love the ambience and feel of the restaurant with the open wine rack right as you walk in. They were a ton of delicious items on the menu to choose from and I went for the pad Thai with chicken and it was excellent. I will definitely coming back here and ordering one of their seafood dishes as well as the steak.
You can tell that this is the family restaurant service was attentive, prompt, and knowledgeable
Looks like a good place to check out.
Very impressed by our random lunch here!
Caring staff, who went out of their way to make sure my wife's dish wouldn't be too spicy, gave her samples of the sauces that could be used so she could choose.
The pork belly was very tasty too.
Point of note: check the wine list! Seven pages of all kinds. No idea where they store all these.
Great place!
Best Thai food around and a stunning wine list
If you’re looking for Thai food in Henderson, I’ve found the perfect spot. I’ve had Thai cuisine all over the country and by far this place has set the bar. It’s often said one eats with their eyes before ever tasting a bite. This was definitely the case. The plates provide a nice background for the colored sauces used in the dishes. The food was very flavorful, seasoned well and priced accordingly. The portions were adequate and more than enough for two people. I would recommend the Goong Ceviche, Wing Zaap, Shrimp cakes, Panang crispy duck and the Pad Sen Lobster. All of these dishes were packed with flavor and tasted great, however, the lobster was a bit heavily salted. The servers did a great job and were very attentive. This is definitely a place to visit should you be craving Thai food. I’ll definitely be back.
The atmosphere was pretty good. The pad thai noodles had too much sauce for me. The eggplants also had too much. The green beans were good. 50/50 on coming back.
Arrived with my family to try for the first time. My husband went inside to get a table and stood there unacknowledged twice. They were not busy at all. Won’t visit again.
I don't understand the reviews for this place. Great food, good drinks, and no complaints with service every time I've been. I play tennis next door and often come after a session for a good meal. My favorite place in the area
Food is absolutely amazing! I've gone three times now and always leave impressed. I've had the yellow curry, shrimp ceviche, duck basil fried rice, and lobster pasta. All have been amazing. This place can be really busy so make sure to make a reservation.
Came here on March 12, 2023 at approximately 8pm. I told the bartender/server that it was someone’s birthday and if it was possible to bring out a candle on a dessert and the server said “yes definitely” reminded him twice. No dessert with a candle was brought out! Ruined my entire plans to sing happy birthday on someone’s special day.
Cannot talk enough about this restaurant. So glad it opened near our house. I haven't been to the Spring Mountain location but I have heard good things.
I ordered the Khao Soi here and will probably keep ordering it every time I come here. I am a creature of habit when I find something that I love. :)
Was so looking forward to trying Lamaii based on reviews but was disappointed, mostly by the flavor of the dishes, as in very little flavor. Service needs work, was not asked for spice level, was not asked how the steak should be prepared for preference, and worst of all, appetizers came out at the same time as the entrée, so the entrées got cold while we started on the appetizers.
We ordered papaya salad and chicken wings for appetizers. Steak phad sew, crispy shrimp phad thai and crispy duck fried rice. They do a really good job on "Crispy" but very little on flavor. The steak was so tough because it was cooked to death and the steak had no seasoning whatsoever, and flat noodles was heavy with the oyster sauce flavor. Crispy duck and shrimp also had no flavor just crispy texture. Plus the shrimp tail was left on so we choked on it. Spending nearly $150 (no alcohol, just table water) to include tip was not worth it, $4 for soda with no refills.
This is my favorite place to eat in vegas. And that is saying something because I eat everywhere. It's not overwhelming with telling who makes your food or why they are cool, they just are. I love the pad thai with duck. The salmon appetizer is to die for. And some of the most well thought out specialty drinks in vegas. If you leave the strip, leave it to eat here
Delicioud!
Excellent. Food was amazing, as was the atmosphere and team. We will be back again soon.
Recommended by friends as we look for a dinner spot later in the evening. We arrived around 8pm and we waited about 25 minutes to get seated. The host told us 10-15 but it was happening in there so we expected a wait. Once seated, we waited another 10 minutes before we were offered water. So far, the service is not impressive and I would advise not coming super hungry because you will end up being hungry by the time all is said and done with food put in front of you.
I forgot to take a picture of the menu so I apologize in advanced for the vague description of the upcoming dishes. We tried the spring roll looking thing. It was actually really good. A bit of a kick with something crispy/ crunchy on the inside, wrapped with Lettuce and rice noodle paper.
We also had the chicken wings as the appetizer and they were very very good. It's a lime pepper salt coating and it was delectable. I could eat a whole basket of this. The steak salad was good as well. Not my favorite starter dish but definitely was not bad.
The 4 of us split the pad see ew, Tom yum salmon, duck fried rice and mango crispy catfish. Everything was very good. The pad see ew was probably one of the better ones I've ever had in the states. Everything tasted very authentic.
The ambiance has a hip high end feel to it. It makes a great date night spot and an intimate dinner with close friends.
I would say the service needs to be improved as we were only checked on once after our food arrived. And once we were done, we waited another 15 minutes before we saw any service, and that was only when the server came out of the kitchen to clean up the table next to us before she saw us sitting there with all our empty plates. We had wanted to get the honey toast but knew it would be another 15 minutes wait and we were too tired to wait any more.
The price is not that bad considering the quality of food and ambiance. I would definitely come back.
There is not much food for vegetarians, so we had to walk out and cannot review the food. Decor and ambiance were good.
Tasty food and very good cocktails. The staff are really friendly and the interior is quite nice. Not many vegetarian/vegan options, and the price point is higher than expected for the area.
Great modern Thai place that is located in Henderson and also in Vegas (off Spring Mountain Rd). The atmosphere here is modern and has that nice vibe to it. Some of the must have dishes include the Duck Panang, Yum Nuer (grilled ribeye steak), and Moo Ma Now (grilled pork jowl). The chicken wings, Gai Him, Moo Tod Nam Pla were also good. The noodles for the pad Thai were a bit thin for me. The service was good and we were satisfied with the meal.
Absolutely amazing Thai food - the decor is also gorgeous.
Awesome spot! Bank Atchawaran is kind of a legend in the Vegas F&B scene from Lotus of Siam to Chada Thai to Chada Street to Lamaii to Lamaii Henderson, Bank is pioneer of Thai food and wine pairing.
Delicious tasting Thai food! For an area competing for dominance in your business for a night out with the family or just a great place to stop in during the day, Lamaii is THE gem of gems! From their thai coffee (BEST COFFEE AROUND!), to their papaya salad and Panang Curry, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed both trips to this restaurant. Don’t judge by my grammatical errors, take your own taste buds for a ride and find out for yourself!
We did take out and the portions were so tiny! We ordered $100+ worth of food but we could’ve finished it all in 5 bites for 4 people. Don’t recommend. Very disappointed.
Mediocre service
Great unique modern Thai dining in a stunning atmosphere with a great wine selection as well!
Must trys here include the spicy Zaap wings, Salmon Noir, & stir fried noodles with crispy lobster!🦞🙌
They're open late until 11pm so that makes it super convenient since there's not many places in Henderson open late!
Definitely try the honey toast for dessert, it's incredible!
Delicious food in a beautiful setting with attentive staff who know their food and wine. Also great craft cocktails. A creative food menu with an equally interesting wine menu. It's clear that care went into every detail. Been 3 times in about 6 weeks, and each time was great. Excited to have this place in the neighborhood.
This was OK but I've had better for less money. Frankly, I think we were paying for ambiance than we were for food. Like I said, it was OK and the service was good but I usually pay far less at other places and get larger portions and their ambiance is pretty decent. I'd eat there again but I just don't think the value was there for the price for me.
Overall the food was delicious and hot out of the kitchen. We had the eggplant small plate and Gai Him plate which are shareable portion’s.
1 person on floor. Nice place. Alot of fried dishes. Iced coffee good. Rice served separate $. For a party of 10 they had 3 tables and no separate checks.
Absolutely phenomenal!!! The garlic greens beans, crispy duck panang, shrimp pad Thai and Tam Zaap are an absolute must!!!
Being married to someone from Thailand, we are very picky. This is our 2nd visit. The garlic green beans, the sam tum and the salmond noir were wonderful. They have a fantastic hefeweissen beer.
We tried the garlic herb crispy prawn tonight and it was incredible. Nice light but crispy batter and good size prawn. The outside patio is really nice. Highly recommended.
Pork belly was as hard as a hockey puck. 18 dollars for a tiny salmon sashimi fish which was subpar. The bartender said “it’s fine” in response to all the dishes I inquired about. Wasn’t much help in recommending dishes. Tiny portions for the price. There are a much better Thai restaurants in town.
It is a cute local place and I really wish them well in this new Henderson location, you can tell they put a lot into interior decoration. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Crafty cocktails were especially delicious. Will definitely come back with my family. Highly recommend the mushrooms dish.
A little pricy, but worth it
I’m really holding back my 1 star review. I used to be a restaurant owner and I know this might hurt your business. But I’m hoping this gets your attention and better your food, my first visit here, atmosphere and decor is outstanding, great drinks selection. I went with the traditional dish, pad Thai with crispy prawns, they’re generous with the protein. The shrimp had a very thick batter( tasted mostly corn starch ) and it soaked so much oil… neither healthy or tasty… what I call inedible, I managed to eat only one piece of shrimp and it still messed up my stomach.
I have been to so many Thai restaurant and none of them is bad. All our dish is salty and super salty. Maybe I think good with wine and that why it has to be very salty? We order over 20+ dish because we had a big group and we want to try everything but still why does it have to be super salty on all the dish. I will never go back because there so many more Thai restaurants that many time better and even nicer decor and better decor service.
The atmosphere is very dark, but the decor is very up to date.
Amazing and unique Thai cuisine. Best we've found in Vegas/Henderson.
I had never in my life has such a horrible service. The server completely ignored our table and we were place at the booth by the restroom. Which didn’t bother me, until my water was dried like the desert. We needed garlic chili paste for the crab fried rice. We wanted to order more beers and cocktails. Shame on this place for such a horrible service. The foods was not authentic, which I expected but I wanted to support my culture and people until they treat you with no respect, they must think we don’t have money or not at their level. Honey all money are the same, you just lost our business and all my friends will hear about this horrible place.
Excellent food, + cocktails, and great service. This place is definitely a fusion place and brings new and interesting spins on classic Thai dishes. We will definitely be going back
Delicious food great place will be back again for sure
Wow! If you want beautiful atmosphere with great food at a low price, this is it! And it's open fairly late, too!
Great atmosphere, great food, perfect for some cocktails.
We are so happy to have this location close by where we live. Lamaii was on my list to try since it opened on spring mtn so now we had no excuses.
We had a great beer called the Dog ate my Homework and the Hungarian Rose wine which was delicious. The beverage list is clearly thought out and specially sourced.
We enjoyed the som tum papaya salad, moo tod nam pla crispy pork belly, salmon noir, sua rong hai ribeye steak, and the mango crispy catfish. Everything was really balanced and fresh. Next time we go we will order different things because everything we had was so good on our first visit I feel like you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
The service was excellent because we did not go during a busy dining hour, the price was more expensive than other Thai food but definitely fair & appropriate for this style of Thai restaurant. The food is creative, modern, fresh. And the restaurant is beautiful inside with an outdoor patio and bar with a view! It will be on our regular favorite spots now!
Fantastic fantastic!!! Best Thai food I've had in a long time. The pad ke maw, rand rawaeng curry and fried rice are something else.
Probably the best meal I've had in a long time. Dishes were light, fresh and delicious. Different items on the menu you won't find in an average Thai restaurant. Great experience.
