Great atmosphere and customer service.

Diner Review №2

Great food. For pick up, just add 30 minutes to the given time so that you aren’t standing inside waiting so long.

Diner Review №3

Neat and quiet little restaurant but service and food was just okay. I think it could have been better. I thought I was going to get similar to authentic Thai food because the photos looked so good but I was kind of disappointed when I tried everything… It was the first restaurant we stopped by in St. Louis.

Diner Review №4

Best the Thai food in town!

Diner Review №5

food was amazing, great service!!!

Diner Review №6

We found this place on accident!! They did not disappoint. Pad Thai shrimp the flavor was out of this world from te 1st bite!! Khai sol OMG , the curry broth were so rich and complimented the chicken so well. Som Tum was spiced just to our liking!!

Diner Review №7

Was looking for a nice Thai place. The service was friendly. Nice atmosphere cozy and clean. We could see the kitchen making up everything hot and fresh. I had the noodles dish with chicken that tasted delicious 😋. My husband got a beef dish that was well seasoned with a mod amount of spicy added. We shared the sausage. Some of the best sausage I've had at a Thai restaurant. We'll definitely come back. Can't wait to come again and try some more dishes. My dish took a little longer to come out, would have been nice to get all the dishes at the same time. But everything was got and delicious.

Diner Review №8

Good Thai food, especially the appetizers and Khao Soi.

Diner Review №9

Delicious Northern Thai restaurant. The Nam Ngiaw I ordered was delicious and very flavorful. The red cotton flower is a unique and authentic ingredient. Service was excellent as well. I'm excited to go back and try other dishes. Don't forget to mix it all up before you eat!

Very good experience with the chefs, it tastes so good and the waiters are so friendly.

Diner Review №12

Cute, quaint space. Food was out of this world. Service was excellent.

Diner Review №13

Unfortunately, I was barely able to taste my food due to the high level of spice. I selected the Level 1 of the yellow curry, thinking it would be fine as opposed to no spice and wanting it to still have the proper flavor. What I received had to be at least a level 4 - it was nauseatingly spicy, and my husband who loves spicy food agreed. I am hesitant to order from here again due to the lack of attention to the spice level request.

Diner Review №14

Wow, the pad thai is incredible. Got the thai hot and enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you. I will come again and try the curry next. Those are always my first two dishes to try at a new thai place.

Diner Review №15

Delicious! Very helpful staff!

Diner Review №16

Very friendly service and the food is fantastic. Nua Sawaan is my favorite here.

Diner Review №17

Chiang Mai is my favorite Thai restaurant in St Louis after Tei Too was closed out. I’ve been coming here since they first opened in 2020, and I absolutely love every single dish here. You have to try them all!
*** Must try items are Sai Oua, Nua Sawaan, and Som Tum. I also want to recommend Shrimp Pad Thai and all of curry based dishes. The Gra Dook Moon and its sauce are delicious, but it’s kinda too big for 2 people on top of other dishes, so I tended to skip it unless I dine in with a big group. The only item that I don’t think I enjoy much is the chicken noodle soup.
**Be careful with the spicy level here. I’d say level 3 of spicy here is level 5 elsewhere.
It’s always a nightmare to find a parking and get a table at nighttime on the weekends, so I preferred to come here for lunch. It’s awesome that they had a new menu with images of their dishes which really helped improving the customer’s dining experience. Service today was great. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend for anyone who already loved or wanting to try Northern Thai dishes.

Diner Review №18

Amazing Thai food! Everything was made to order and very fresh and authentic. Great service

Diner Review №19

We live in Thailand most of the year, but when we are in the US, we also need Thai food, so we have tried a lot in St Louis. They mostly disappoint us. But for Chiang Mai, we have no critique at all. Everything tastes very Thai. And the best part is the Thai food really does taste Thai. The cooks are Thai and I could ask them things and they could answer honestly. Also, unlike most others, they can serve real Prik Nam Plar (fish sauce with chilies as a condiment) on the side. Prices were fair for the portion sizes. The Larb Kua was especially interesting, as I never had this style before. They specialize in northern Thai food, but also have some south and central dishes. If you are used to getting the same dishes everywhere like Panang, Pad Thai, Pad See Iew, etc. I would strongly recommend you try some different dishes for a change. But of course they do offer some of the "classics" as well. Don't miss the Som Tum. It was super fresh!

Diner Review №20

Was planning to go to Me You until I saw this nicer place next door with a more unique menu. I live in Thailand most of the year, and this is the first Thai restaurant that I've been to in St Louis that really does taste Thai. And they served me proper Prik Nam Plar upon request. Prices were OK for the portion sizes.

Excellent Thai cusine

Diner Review №25

I've been here twice - once for dine in and once more recently for takeout. Both were great experiences. This most recent time I wanted steamed dumplings for dinner and also got the veggie spring rolls. Everything was nice and hot. The spring rolls were crisp and not at all oily. The steamed dumplings were soft and tender. Everything tasted amazing, including the sauce/dip that comes with each. Even the soy-based sauce, which is often just soy sauce at most places, was clearly several steps up from that and had great depth of flavor. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I ate here last weekend and it was terrific! I looked at their menu online before arriving, and I think it was slightly different from the menu in the restaurant. They were also out of the first thing my husband wanted to order, but neither was a big deal to us. We ordered dumplings, khao soi, and the sausage entrée, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The restaurant is in a cute little storefront in Maplewood's historic downtown. The vibe is no-frills, but cozy and warm. Service was welcoming and quick, and I liked the hand-painted mural in the restroom. We'll definitely be back!

Diner Review №32

This was our first stop during our first time in St. Louis and we were craving Thai food. This is a quaint little spot in Webster Groves (a cool street with so many great restaurants, boutiques, and coffee shops). We ordered the Laarb Koi, Nam Ngiaw, and the Pork Red Curry and everything was very delicious! Our favorite dish was definitely the Nam Ngiaw which is a regional northern Thai dish. The broth was super flavorful and it was the perfect balance of spicy and savory.

I think the service and hospitality could have been better. It wasn't as warm as we have experienced here in the Midwest. But overall; the food was delicious and we would come back for it! Check them out if you're in the area.

Diner Review №34

We usually hang out at a Thai place down close to where we live. So I'm tempted to compare this place with the place I go to all the time. That being said, this restaurant was really good. I think this restaurant might be a little more authentic Thai food. And that's a good thing right? I had the yellow curry. It was really good. I think the soup was a little watery and plenty spicy. Be careful asking for spice here. My son had another type of curry I think red. He said it was really good. Also kind of watery. I only bring the water thing up because the tire place I go to the curry sauce is thicker. I think I prefer the thicker sauce. You get a decent size portion of rice, but I would have liked a little more.
We had a gluten-free person with us and that wasn't a problem here. Lots of choices for her.
Service was good but kind of had to ask for people to come over. The waiter was close by but on his phone quite a bit. I guess that's just the way it is nowadays.
The food was good, the atmosphere was good, I would come back here...
Parking is terrible here. I think everywhere up here parking is kind of hectic. I actually parked in the McDonald's lot. My son parked down the street. There's a lot across the road.

Diner Review №35

Green curry with eggplant and chicken (choice of protein: beef chicken tofu) was outstanding ; it had been highly recommended by a friend ! Delicious my husband had the Suki which he enjoyed as well. This place is a gem!

Diner Review №36

Most delicious Thai food I have ever had for a long time! Definitely recommend trying this place at least once. Their curry was delicious as well as Papaya salad.

Diner Review №37

I might do 4.5 stars here , but rounded up. It was the best red curry I’ve ever had. Maybe it was the rainy day we were there but it just hit all the right notes. I loved it. We had pad won sen from the specials board and it was good but was missing egg, which I usually find in pad woon sen. The papaya salad and beef appetizers (I forget the name) we had were both very good.

The cons here are portion sizes are on the small side and the prices are on the high side.

I would go again for sure, but maybe when I’m not super hungry.

Diner Review №38

Meyou next door is far better in authentic Thai than Chiang mai. This place was Tei Too before and wasn't very good and still isn't. Only when you're desperate for thai like when meyou is not. open

Diner Review №39

The food was good, but too spicy for us, even at a "1". The server was really nice. I wish there was more transparency about the credit card fee. If we had known, we would've paid cash.

Diner Review №40

The food was well seasoned, but the menu descriptions don't always match what you get. I thought I was getting a vegetarian meal, but it contained chicken even though it wasn't listed in the ingredients.

Diner Review №41

The food is good but the owner feels its the customers responsibility to pay for her credit card machine by charging you the consumer 3.5% of the total bill as an add on charge. This is even for in person dining, not delivery. Your better off going to the King and I in Richmond Heights that does not add these ridiculous charges

Diner Review №42

So my review is low because the waiter has to be the most unfriendly person in the state. I was hungry for a dish with egg noodles and don’t like too much spice. There’s only one dish with egg noodles, the others have clear noodles. I asked if I could get the fish I wanted with the egg noodles and he said flat out “No” with no explanation as to why. I would have paid extra. I literally can’t figure out why they can’t substitute the noodles when it’s just a dish with soy sauce, Chicken, noodles and vegetables.

He was rude about other things as well. I’m not going back. I seriously don’t think they want to keep customers or they would be nicer.

Diner Review №43

It's a takeout! Best Chinese food in town.

Diner Review №44

Everything was out quickly and was very good.

I am hooked on the Green Chicken Curry.

So good!

A bit on the pricey side.

Diner Review №49

Very good food but a little pricey.

Diner Review №50

So happy to have found a yummy Thai place in the area! The green curry here is amazing. Super flavorful. The Thai iced tea is delicious as well. It’s a great causal spot to grab dinner. Wonderful service as well.

The only thing I didn’t like was the snow cone. I’ve had Nam Kang Sai before, but this one was definitely made differently. It typically has lots of different jellies and such, but this one was made with regular corn kernels and beans that didn’t taste like typical red beans. Besides that, everything was great.

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

Ordered online. Got to store at time food was to be ready(about 45 min after we placed order). Waited at store 1 hour and 10 minutes for order. Unacceptable

Diner Review №53

Chris was our server & he had great recommendations! Loved every bite.

Diner Review №54

I went here for dinner yesterday and ordered a dish and said spice level 2. Turns out I was unaware of how spicy this place makes their dishes at that level and I couldn’t eat it. I reported it to our waiter, and he looks at me rudely and retorts “well I can’t go back there and make you a new dish just because it’s too spicy. You decided to order it that way.” No sympathy or even a brief apology for me being dissatisfied. I did not expect them to replace the dish at no cost (although I guarantee any place with decent customer service would have offered to replace it), at the very least some sympathy and a few alternate options would have sufficed. We may have even purchased something else instead, but unfortunately that was the last meal me and my husband will have here.

Diner Review №55

Great food and service.

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

Food was amazing. Good portions, lots of flavor. Absolutely delicious. Service good and very friendly. Very reasonable prices. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that you can't get a glass of water (I asked). You have to buy a water bottle. Not only environmentally egregious but out of character for a sit-down restaurant that serves food on nice dishes and provides a chic metal ice bucket for your wine bottle.

Diner Review №58

Avoid this place and their cultists. The eggplant tofu was average. The little fried rolls were pretty good. The ribs tasted bad. The drum stick was dry and poorly seasoned. The tofu pad Thai was forgettable. The entire presentation was bad as one dish could be in 3 different unlabeled containers, and I ordered a bunch of dishes. They failed to make my order on time, I was told a couple of minutes, after 5 minutes I was told a couple more minutes. I got shorted a main dish. It was well over $20/person and no one was happy and the vegan was simply "not disappointed." - owner responded quickly and respectfully, so I'm changing to 5star until I come again to give a second chance.

Diner Review №59

Tasty, until I found a metal shaving in my food! No apology or attempt to make amends. No offer to replace food. He did take the metal back to the kitchen. I left. Too bad.

Diner Review №60

RECYCLED rice! I literally saw the big bowl they old fried rice they use, for EVERYDAY . And not cooked fresh they use all the same stuff from the day B4, I will never be back

Diner Review №61

Diner Review №62

Great food. Nice northern Thai flavors. Good Drunken noodles.

Diner Review №63

I will start by stating that the food at Chiang Mai is excellent and authentic. However, the St. Louis region lies along one of the largest river systems in the world and thus has an abundant supply of cheap and clean drinking water straight from the tap. This is a luxury not afforded to many people around the globe. Therefore, the idea that bottled water is the only option at this establishment is unconscionable. The carbon footprint associated with transporting heavy plastic bottles filled with what already flows from our tap long distances and the environmental impact of the bottles themselves is wholly unnecessary and for these reasons I will reconsider my patronage of this restaurant in the future.

Diner Review №64

Could be 4 star but they charge 3 percent for credit card and charge .75 cents per water bottle. I read in another review that they said their water supply is tainted, but I don’t believe this since they still serve you ice. I think they are trying to milk the customer as much as possible even though the menu is already relatively expensive. I am not sure if this restaurant is a fast casual restaurant or a formal sit down restaurant. They make you come up to the counter to pay for your food. Asking for a recommended minimum 18 percent tip is outrageous.

The food was decent and better than typical Thai restaurants. The food came out relatively fast because we were first in line. The interior and decor gets a B-.

Also just a tip for the restaurant, I would recommend having your only waiter wear more appropriate attire.

Diner Review №65

Diner Review №66

The food was fine, not the most tasty but far and away the most expen$$ive Thai I've ever had and overall a bit bland. But what prompted this review was the oddly abusive service we had. My friend and the waiter got off to a great start chatting about a local band they both like but things took a turn when I asked him about the several (also expensive) sake options on the menu. He emphatically stated that he doesn't drink so he didn't know. Was that a note of pride where there should have been regret? It's like asking a pulmonary doctor what it's like to have lung cancer and he replies "I don't know, I don't smoke". When he said it again the pride was unmistakable and the regret (for not knowing what he should on the job) was nowhere to be found. We're talking rice wine out of miniature cups fit for elves. Really dude?

I almost forgot, we were also forced to buy bottled water because they couldn't give us water from the tap. Something about the plumbing and health department which now I'm wondering is even true. I don't think we ever got a check to look over. We were just told to come pay upfront where, under his watchful eyes, I had to choose his tip amount. I chose 20% hastily, wanting to escape his stare. Immediately regret filled the room. Finally there it was. But it was all mine.

Diner Review №67

At long last, fantastic Thai food in STL. I've been to many of the city's well-known spots in search of food that's up to par with that which I've had in Bangkok and other major cities around the U.S., and Chiang Mai is the first. We tried the khao soi, green curry chicken, and papaya salad and would recommend these to anyone. Most Thai places in STL don't kick up the spice like Chiang Mai did, and a 3/5 spice level on the papaya salad had us sweating (like we wanted). Can't wait to come back!

Diner Review №68

The people were excellent! :)
The food was just average and very greasy. Another rater compared to PF Chang's. No comparison, sorry.

Diner Review №69

Could use a bit more room for couples. The 2 tops are 2 small. Otherwise everything about this place is top notch.

Diner Review №70

Good atmosphere, The food was ok, but I did not care for the sauce that came with the pot stickers. It was more like a barbecue sauce. Also, they didn't have glasses of water but bottled water, and they charged you for each bottle you drank.

Diner Review №71

We happened on this place by accident. We were headed to The Novel Neighbor but were hungry. We like Thai food and this place was nearby.
Score!

Diner Review №72

Love Chiang Mai for Thai dishes not found elsewhere.

Diner Review №73

Absolutely delicious Thai food and lovely service and decor. The green curry with chicken was one of the best Thai curry dishes since we left Kansas City. Best Thai have had in St. Louis by a mile. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Was not crowded at lunch--deserves way more customers and patronage because food is first-rate.

Diner Review №74

We had never eaten Thai food. The food was really good. I had Pan See Ew Chicken, and my wife got an authentic Thai curry chicken. We both really liked our dishes.

We each tried the others' dish. My wife really liked mine. I thought hers was OK. I'm not a curry fan.

Now, the service was very bad. We let the waiter know this was our first time ever eating Thai, and he was ZERO help in guiding us through the menu. We thought ok he's not talkative. WRONG, two guys came in right after us and he totally guided them through the menu. And he chat up a storm with the two ladies next to us.

Following that my wife's meal came out and 25 minutes later mine came out. I had to ask where my food was. I got a oh sorry it's in the wok. No proactive sorry, I had to ask and then 10 minutes later I got my food. My wife was 3/4 done with her meal before I got my meal.

Since the pandemic started we've been tipping 25-50%. Tonight we tipped 18%, and I that was very generous. Needless to say we will not go back there again. However, we will get Thai food again.

Diner Review №90

Food (larb) was good - 16$ for a medium sized portion. What's crazy to me - something I have now never seen - is that they make you buy bottled water. First of all, water should be free at any place serving food. Especially at 16$ a plate. Not to mention the plastic waste.

Diner Review №91

Food was really yummy, will be back soon 🤪

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

The service is quick and food was ok. The papaya salad was really good though. The food portions are big, so it’s enough for one hungry person. You can choose the spicier level, I order spice level 3 and it wasn’t as spicy as other places.

Diner Review №94

เมืองน่าอยู่ ตะต๊อนยอน

Diner Review №95

Food was fresh but sparse. They offer Shared plates but served as one. When asked for separate bowl of broth - only one cup of broth in one bowl provided. Not generous portions, no water provided, only bottled water, or other purchased beverages. No parking. Service was measured to slow, not very responsive to requests. We won't be back. There are too many good, generous restaurants in area to try stingy ones a second time

Diner Review №96

Absolutely delicious Thai food - probably the best drunken noodles I've had in Saint Louis. Also highly recommend the ribs! Food came out very quickly too.

Uodate: went back at a prime time. Food was still great and came out quick, but front staff was a bit disorganized - people getting seated out of order, some tables waited longer than later arrivals for menus, etc. Still highly recommend, but it would be a better experience with a more structured and organized front staff.

Diner Review №97

Good service. Great food.

Diner Review №98

The menu is a little limited here, but they more than make up for it with the quality of their dishes!

Diner Review №99

Food was 30 mins late. Portions were tiny, filled less than half of the containers. I have never seen a rice container so small. I called and spoke with Jeremy (manager?) who hung up on me. I was told if they actually posted the accurate wait time (60 mins) no one would order online, so as a customer I am expected to show up and wait. Order was $65 and too small for just two people.

Diner Review №102

As we wait for a table during dinner we observe how unorganized the host & hostess are. Both lack communication and leadership. Been here before. Food is good enough but definitely not worth the wait. Both need additional training.

Diner Review №103

Very happy to have this addition in Webster! Called the order in and it was ready in 25 minutes. I paid inside- the interior of the restaurant was very clean!
For the Small plates we got the Gai Todd and Sakoo Sai Moo. The wings were so tasty and the sauce they came with was also A+. The Sakoo Sai Moo is a tapioca dumpling dish so the dumplings definitely have an unusual texture but the pork inside was delightful.
For the shared plates we got the Pad Naam and Gra Dook Moo. The Pad Naam had more eggs (sort of like an egg stirfry) than we anticipated but still had incredible flavor. The Gra Dook Moo was sooo delicious- I have never had Thai ribs so that was a very pleasant surprise. The ribs were paired with a sauce that was to no surprise, also very excellent.
I live down the street so I will definitely be going back soon and I would definitely order all the above dishes again.

Pictured: clockwise starting at top- Gra Dook Moo, Pad Naam, Gai Todd, Sakoo Sai Moo

Diner Review №104

Great tasting food! The plates were a little small and light, making it hard to cut our food without holding onto the plate, but overall very tasty and I will be back for more!

Diner Review №106

Diner Review №107

Nice experience. Great food and service

Diner Review №108

Pricey. Be prepared to pay more than average. Only bottled water. Canned soda. Didn't expect canned/bottled drinks when paying $18 a dish. Small plates are very small for the price. Shareable plates are really the size for one person. That was confusing. Food is good, not outstanding. Food delivery to the table wasn't timed well. Half of us were almost finished by the time the last person at the table was served.

Diner Review №109

Diner Review №114

My search for the best Thai in STL is finally over. This restaurant has made my husband a converted curry lover.

We went twice in one week put two tables together and ordered dish after dish to try none of which disappointed.

The mossaman curry is life changing, there is no better way to describe it!

The atmosphere is casual but do not let that fool you at all, this place, without a doubt, is the real deal.

Diner Review №115

Amazing!

Diner Review №116

Lovely place for dinner. Great service and tasty food. The quiet environment is much appreciated after sticking our head in a pub at the end of the block!

Edit: Covered outside seating is available.

Diner Review №117

Wooo! I feel alive! Som Tum salad was an experience. 3/5 on heat- it was addicting and very hot. We loved it. Larb Khua had great combo of flavors and good portion of cilantro/ coriander; it was a nice change from my default- red curry. Life is great when food is this good.

Diner Review №118

We came in for a late lunch. I requested some recommendation. We got Thai Ice Tea, Gai Todd (fried chicken), Gaeng Hung Lay(curry simmered pork curry), and Drunked Noodle Chicken. Every food was very delicious! Best recommendation! Will come again!

Diner Review №119

Most authentic Thai food in St. Louis. Highly recommended.
I lived in Thailand for 9 years and the food they serve is legit. We also asked for Thai spice and we absolutely got it 😁 we will definitely come back. Aroi maak maak!

Diner Review №120

Very very good food. Everything we had was delicious. We got a couple of appetizers, then shared pork curry, spicy basil chicken and green chicken curry. All the dishes were very flavorful. Also the meat was nice meat, and tender. There’s nothing I hate more than a curry full of tough, brown meat chicken. The service was great, the people are nice and the atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. There are a couple of outside tables but it’s mostly inside. They don’t have a full bar but they sell wine, beer and saki. Definitely somewhere I will visit again when I’m in St. Louis.

The pad Thai was so good and I was so hungry that I did not take a picture! Place has a reasonable selection and is sort of boring, but the food is really good. Hunger is always the best seasoning, so I hope you have an equally delicious experience!

Diner Review №123

Everything was great and portion sizes were enough for about 2 people. We ordered carryout and it was ready on time and super fresh

Diner Review №124

I don't want to bring your rating down by giving you one star because it's not the food that's the problem, and your staff was nice for the brief time I was there. Your policy on not giving glasses of water and forcing patrons to purchase water is a thought worth revisiting. I was about to spend $60+ dollars on dinner and the only option for water is to purchase it, is not common in the US. Plus the server told me you didn't have water, not even tap water. I told her that is actually illegal not to have running water in a restaurant. So that's when she told me that there is tap water but I couldn't have any. I will admit I was already in a terrible mood from my week so we just went across the street, spent $30, had some great food and plenty of tap water at no extra charge. Also, the new place next door, Meyou, is amazing, has a lower price point and has tap water. Clearly you have chosen this business model for a reason. However the cost of tap water can easily be absorbed by another tiny fee somewhere else, it would not be noticeable and much appreciated by your customers. Raise the small plate cost by 49 cents and serve tap like everywhere else. Or don't. Either way I won't ever know.

Diner Review №128

Diner Review №129

Food was delicious. Had the Som Tum with spice level 3. Had the right amount of heat for me. Nam Ngiaw as main course and it was perfect. Tomato based broth with perfect rice vermicelli and a good amount of minced pork, bite size rib meat, tofu. Had a slice of lime to add a little citrus flavor to the dish. Really enjoyed it. Street parking was full but there are options for parking lots around the corner or across the street.

Diner Review №130

We stopped in after going to Dharma & Dwell. Very impressed, & delicious food.

🥣FOOD🥣

🌿Chicken Wings(Gai Todd)
Crispy and flavorful. You get about 6 wings not whole wings so equivalent to 3 whole wings. Very tasty and the sauce is good.

🌿Pork Grinds (Kab Moo)
Fresh, crispy, lightly seasoned and delicious.

🌿Sliced Roast Pork (Moo Daeng)
This sliced pork has a "red sauce" sweet but savory. Tender. It is served with cucumber which is a nice touch. Very tasty

🌿Pork Sausage (Sai Qua)
The flavor is amazing. Don't expect a breakfast sausage flavor but bursting with flavors, many I could not recognize but it was delicious. A nice treat and different. Be adventurous and try it too.

🌿Ribs (Gra Dook Moo)
Tender, flavorful and served with a lime sauce that is just beautiful! Ask for extra lime sauce you won't regret it.

***Also, what they put with the meal/on the plate should be eaten together. Ie. The cilantro and etc is not just garnish but made to be eaten with the rest of the meal to bring out the UNIQUE flavors.

I’ve dined in and ordered take out—either way Chiang Mai never disappoints! Always amazing flavors and everything is so perfectly cooked. Service is fantastic as well. Best Thai in town—in my opinion:)

Happy with all the food we tried. Kinda weird that we kept getting water bottles while the table next to us had a pitcher. 🤷‍♀️

Simple menu, simple dining and very tasty food! The spicy sausage small plate came full of flavor! Also ordered large plates of pork with curry sauce which was delicious and a very yummy shrimp pad Thai (hold the bean sprouts).vee will be back to try some of the dishes they were out of!

Would 100% recommend! Such good food.

Diner Review №144

Stopped in for dinner with 2 friends. All the food was amazing. There was enough spice to make me sweat but not cover up the flavor of the food.

The service was very slow. I suspect our server was very new. This didn't take away from the experience, just be careful if you are short in time when visiting.

Checked this place out as I heard great things about it and had great reviews.

My wife has been looking for Khao Soi ever since she tried it at a restaurant in Chicago. All other places disappointed her, except this one.

I’m a basic Thai food eater, so I’m not sure if it’s authentic, but this place is yummy.

Khao Soi - it’s like a curry ramen but not as fatty and salty as some Japanese ramen. The chicken was tender and it was perfect for a cold night!

I had tried the Gra Dook Mo (baby back rib) who doesn’t like ribs?
Not going to lie, a little dry but tasted great. It comes with a sauce and you HAVE to use it. I personally dipped the ribs in to the sauce, but you can probably drizzle it too…?
Idk if the onions in the sauce is pickled but it is super delish.

4/5 stars due to meat being dry and staff was a little slow on service. Never got a refill of water and had to go up to get my bill paid.

The best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Every single dish was to die for -
You just have to try them all

Awesome yum jiin gai! Lovely flavor and very filling. Large mug of green tea. A nice place to have lunch. Would like to try dinner there some time.

Diner Review №149

It was very Good and Tasty. Well Recommended!!

Diner Review №150

Wow, very pleasantly surprised. Pad Thai was fresh and bursting with flavor and the chicken in the yellow curry was falling off the bone. Will definitely come back.

Best Pad Thai in the city, opt for the egg add-on. Fantastic green papaya salad, too. And if you want 5-star spicy, they'll hit you hard with that.

Uniquely delicious experience. The fried tofu had an extra sweetness in the crisp that was really special. 😍

Diner Review №163

A friend and I enjoyed a good meal and service here, despite having to work around covid. Prices are reasonable.

Diner Review №164

Best Thai place in town. If you want Thai food different from what you get from typical thai places, come here. you will not regret. great quality, taste and service!

Diner Review №165

Excellent food. The northern Thai sausage is like nothing I've ever tasted. In a very good way.

Diner Review №166

I'm originally from Chiang Mai. This restaurant made me miss my hometown already. Also the food are good and the service is good. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №167

Absolutely delicious and unique food. Also very nice staff. One of my favorite spots in St. Louis.

Diner Review №168

Stopped in St. Louis after a long day of driving. I really wanted something unique so I looked up Thai food and found this place. It had great reviews and an interesting menu.

Easily ordered online and picked it up on my way to the hotel.

I must say I’m sad to be leaving tomorrow. The food was superb! If I were staying longer I would eat there again!

Diner Review №169

Super tasty authentic Thai food! The Sakoo Sai Moo was really flavourful and Som Tum (papaya salad) was really refreshing. We also got the Khao soi and Nam Naigw - both really tasty too. Will definitely be back!

Diner Review №170

Amazing food, loved everything on the menu, especially the tapioca beef balls and the khao soi. Servers and staff wore masks, but the tables were close together.

3rd time eating here and it was phenomenal as always.

Diner Review №174

The food here is delicious! I had the Khao Soi and my husband had shrimp pad Thai.

Diner Review №175

Today’s winner is the Thai sausage, it had nice spice flavor, must try!!
The tapioca ball is good if you don’t mind the sweet minced pork fillings.
We ordered the green papaya salad to have level 1 spicy but it was not spicy to us, we will try level 3 next time.
Pad Thai is the one we didn’t enjoy much because it is too sweet and too saucy.
Larb, I don’t have a photo for this dish here but this is a flavorful dish that must try.

Good food...

Diner Review №177

Everything was excellent. First time in, we will be repeat customers.

Diner Review №178

Food was flavorful and delicious! Seating was spaced apart and ordering was simple: just scan the QR code for the menu and order online! Food came out quickly and the waitress was very sweet!

I love everything here. The sakoo sai moo is delicious. I’ve not been disappointed with any meals here. Highly recommend. I tell everyone about this place

Diner Review №181

We had 3 menu items and all were delicious. Sorry, names were hard to remember. The cheese and vegetable spring rolls were good, too.

Diner Review №184

Too sweet foods. I tried at lot of places, but very typical taste I found. Also I inform to add Toffu in my dish they didn't add. Too expensive rate as well.

Diner Review №185

Excellent take out. Carefully packaged to keep hot and cold items separate. Nua Sawaan, Moo Ping, and Paloa eggs & Tofu were all very tasty.

Diner Review №186

Excellent food and easy order and pick up.

Diner Review №187

We had excellent meals last night! We will be back to try the rest of the menu soon.

Diner Review №188

Super cool ambience. We got take out and everything was super delicious!!! A little over priced but worth it!

Diner Review №189

The experience here was terrific. This was our first dine-in experience in STL for sometime. I was impressed with their safety (contact tracing, masking, temp check and distancing within restaurant). The food was spectacular. Spare ribs and pork tenderloin appetizer were personal favorites. Will definitely go again.

Diner Review №191

Awesome atmosphere and amazing food. Good covid procedures and felt safe overall. Place was busy with lots of takeouts, but did not slow service down too much. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №192

Tried many of the items from their small menu, everything was fresh and delicious. I cannot believe the amount of flavor that they get from such simple ingredients.

Diner Review №193

Exceptional food. Our meal was easily one of the best we’ve had since COVID. The purple rice pudding and pad Thai were the highlights! Make sure to ask about the specials and desserts. There was a bit of an issue with the pickup - everything but the pad Thai was ready in 25 min like they said but we had to wait for another 20 min for the pad Thai which was a bit inconvenient. Luckily the rest of the food was still at a good temp when we finally got it home.

Diner Review №194

Ordered curbside pickup - courteous staff, clean and cozy inside. Food traveled well and was delicious! The portions look on the smaller side but there was plenty enough to split between 2 people. The flavors were so fresh, full, & unique. I will be visiting again to try everything on the menu.

Diner Review №196

The Khao Soi with chicken! I have waited 11 years since to find Khao Soi as good as that I had when I lived a short time in Chiang Mai. The chicken just falls off the drum sticks and has so much flavor. The pickled mustard greens add so much!

My husband loved the Gaeng Hung Lay and the Nua Sawaan.

Laam tete loy Jaew!

Diner Review №197

The best Thai food I’ve had in years! The options go far beyond your basic pad Thai, and every dish was fantastic. I can’t wait to come back for more.

Diner Review №198

Tried it for the first time last weekend. Amazing. Staff was friendly and walked me thru my order to make sure I knew exactly the taste and spice levels. Can’t wait to have again!!!!

Diner Review №199

Did curbside from Chiang Mai tonight and it may be our new favorite Thai in town. Fresh, unexpected flavors.....everything we ordered was spot-on. Ask for the off-menu desserts. We will be back, no doubt. Another super impressive offering in Webster!

Diner Review №200

Great Northern Thai place! The Khao Soi was great and I really liked the Tom Sum, green papaya salad. We also enjoyed the Guang Hung Lay and the shrimp Pad Thai.
