I ordered Pad Thai, but the taste was not that good, I've tasted a lot of Pad thai's, and I would consider it the worst. I ordered it to be spicy, yet not a tinge of spice on it. Both the taste and spice are lacking. As for the Pad See-U, it has more flavor than the pad thai. Although it has too much sauce, broccoli was undercooked it was still so hard to chew.
The food was prepared remarkably quickly, almost surprisingly so, but it was still delicious. The sauce on the potstickers was particularly noteworthy and became my favorite part of the meal. My order included the Potstickers and the Hot & Sweet Chicken. The restaurant itself is small but has a cozy vibe, making it a good spot for a lunch break or a casual dinner. While I dined in, I noticed a lot of people opting for takeout, which seems to be a popular choice here.
Pad basil bowl and the pad broccoli and beef was fantastic. Found this little restaurant while looking for another. I'm so glad we stopped in. They were friendly and fast. Will definitely be coming back for more. They also have the dishes displayed in the window. It was great for me to see what I was going to order.
Amidst the upscale eateries in the Euclid avenue area is this little gem of a Thai restaurant.
There are a few tables with quick service, should you be inclined to dine in at their location. The ambiance is typical of a busy Asian eatery. However, their take-out business seems to be buzzing.
We got the Yellow Curry Chicken and Pad Krapow. The food is flavorful and in large quantities. They offer a variety of spice levels to cater to your specific tolerance.
Would definitely eat there again.
It is a small, hidden Thai restaurant that serves delicious goods and has a great selection of beverages. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. I ordered pad thai, pork bun, and Thai iced tea. The portion for pad thai was huge, and every serving was so good and tasty. It had an authentic taste. I highly recommend this hole-in-a-wall restaurant if you want Thai food in the CWE area.
Ordered the spicy Thai basil fried rice and pad Thai level 5 hot. Neither had an ounce of spice. The fried rice was also severely lacking flavor. This was a really disappointing experience as the food has usually been top notch.
Closed because there was an inch of snow

Absolutely fantastic!!
Was actually closed during blizzard... but looked really interesting.
Ordered to go portion limited . Called and front order taker not able fill properly and complained why order not right . I spent $100
As courtesy response not satisfactory. Owners need look into. Their staff . Success iof business consumer must be satisfied
My personal view never go again this outfit.
Pineapple, chicken fried rice is fantastic
Got a beef pad see ew. The beef was inedibly tough, broccoli undercooked, too much sauce.
Taro boba was way too sweet and the pearls floated, so they didn’t come up in the straw
Nah
This is not Thai food.🫣
Fantastic little eatery! Delicious food and friendly folks!

If St. Louis considers this good Thai food, I feel bad for people around here. I have had a lot of Thai food, from terrible to excellent. This was the worst I have ever had! I got Thai curry, which tasted like a five-year-old cooked it. Either that or the chef was blind and had COVID.
We come here a decent amount.
But there is a consistency issue.
Sometimes the curries are served in 32oz and sometimes it is 20oz. Sometimes it is perfectly seasoned, sometimes too spicy to eat. Sometimes only pepper and onions, sometimes a variety of vegetables, sometimes only a little tofu, sometimes so much tofu with no other veggies.
-I get the red curry with tofu and add extra vegetables.
The Tom Kha is wonderful, unless they put too much chili in it (only happened once). On occasions it taste like the coconut milk is old.
Thai basil with tofu is my new go-to because I got tired of how inconsistent the curry was.
Love the spring rolls, vegetable dumplings, vegetable pot stickers, pad thai and my partner loves the pineapple fried rice with chicken as well as the chicken satay.
Great Spot in CWE!
Everything is amazing I love they chicken fried rice 4x spicy and the mango boba is to die for I get it everyday after work it's so refreshing
I canceled this order many hours before it was scheduled for pick up. They told me twice they would refund me and then finally told me they can’t do that, so I paid for a full meal that I never ate. Terrible customer service.
Food was gross
The food was so full of sugar I couldn’t eat it — had to throw it out. Such a shame.
The worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Controversial if it is even Thai food. The pad thai is overly sweet and peppery and the pad see ew is seasoned with pure soy sauce.
Pad see ew had some pad thai mixed in.
Only upside is the fast service.
The pad see ew noodles were so delicious and flavorful! Best version of it I've ever had but order it without protein because the chicken was dry, tough, and stringy. The protein sabotaged the dish. They don't have a working soda fountain either so the options are bottled water, Pepsi, or diet Pepsi so consider getting the food to go!
Never again. Been on a thai binge but won't be trying this one again.
Our team at Holland Law Firm recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai 202, and it was such an amazing experience! Thai 202 is truly a hidden gem of St. Louis, offering an incredibly diverse menu and a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy it in. Supporting family and minority-owned businesses in our community is a high priority at our firm, and we are grateful for the opportunity to do so for companies such as this one. We will certainly be returning and encouraging others to experience this fantastic restaurant.
Hole-in-the-wall with great food! Popular place, because of the food. Mostly takeout. Definitely will go back!
You will love this place before anything you must get the Pad Thai noodles. They have this mildly sweet sause and with choice of chicken if you get that once you'll keep coming back. The staff is so nice and courteous. I was just ordering takeout, and yes... Pad Thai 🍜 Noodles. My favorite Noodles restaurant in Saint Louis 😋
Cozy little hole in the wall you should definitely try if you live near the central west end! I got the hot and sour noodle soup and the broth was delicious. The portion was so large that I brought the noodles and chicken/shrimp home, but slurped up all the broth. Staff were super friendly as well
The portion for pad thai was quite huge! It was simply made and sweet in taste. Good for the price.

Will definitely be coming back for more. They also have the dishes displayed in the window. It was great for me to see what I was going to order.
Great food and a Great service…!!! Ambience is good, so many food varieties. A good number of vegetarian and vegan options. Mistakes happen but taking up accountability goes a long way…!!! One of our food items were found out of the
preferences we specified and the management took responsibility. Not only did they replace the platter but also did refund the money for that item. Great team! I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was not good
Absolutely delicious Thai food. Service was really quick. Small little cafe with a few tables inside so plan ahead if you’re going at a busy time. The food came out fresh and super fast and it tasted amazing. Some of the best Thai food I’ve found outside of Thailand.
Best Thai food that I've ever had, polite staff and minimal waiting time for food.
Amazing food, friendly staff!

This is one of two favorite spots in all of stl. You can't go wrong here. Huge menu.
Food was meh all around. Only thing worth while ws the crab rangoon. Do your self a favor - skip this place and walk around the corner to Medina.
they have delicious crab rangoons with a good balance of crunchy crust and soft filling.
Visiting town, we went back for a second night. Good food, quick service. Thanks guys!
Panang curry level 2 spicy was super spicy..no other flavor. Healthy rice had odd smell. Chicken satay bowl was only thing edible.
Really disappointed as we love Thai food.
Came upon a recommendation from a colleague and this place truly has some of the best Pad See Ew I’ve ever eaten. This no frills place knows how to make a meal pop off. Delish. I would show you a photo of my food but it’s all gone now.
Noodles!
This was some good Thai food. Best I’ve had in a while. Stop by when you’re in the area.
My wife’s favorite Thai curry in this city specifically the green
Good food and service. Very small inside. Has outside seating. Parking is difficult.
Food was so salty I threw it away after the first bite. Will never be back. No flavor and over cooked chicken
I have not had Thai food this good in years & I’ve eaten at a lot of different Thai places in many different cities. I’m a sucker for Panang curry and their was perfectly seasoned and heated for me. My whole family loved the satay and fried rice options. The only X factor is if you have a big party. Consider calling ahead or just get carry out because this delicious Thai restaurant only has seating for about 16.
The green curry had nice flavor but was very soupy and the temperature was so hot it took a long time to eat due to having to allow it to cool down enough.
Meh food. Curry was salty to the extreme.
This used to be one of my favorite favorite Thai spots until I found a hair in my yellow chicken curry a few years back. I was craving Thai food and figured maybe they just had an off day so I ordered again today. This is now the second time that I’ve found a hair in my yellow curry. Will not be going back!!!
Ordered the pad cashew for lunch and came back for dinner.
I've been eating here for years and they never disappoint.
My boyfriend and I love this place. The red curry is a must, so spicy and delicious.
The food was prepared remarkably quickly, almost surprisingly so, but it was still delicious. The sauce on the potstickers was particularly noteworthy and became my favorite part of the meal. I've been eating here for years and had the majority of the menu. I recently celebrated a friend's birthday here. We ordered and ate family style because there is no one definitive best dish here (everything is exemplary). Jack, the owner, has fostered a great restaurant in such a lovely area of town. Thai 202s survival through covid while other hallmarks in the area closed ought to enough for you to stop in and grab a bite. Get the steamed buns, you won't regret it.
Got some carry out. Good crab rangoon and bun. Panang curry and Tom Yum were everything I dreamed they'd be. Spice level 3 was really nice without being overwhelming.
My mouth is watering just thinking about it that meal. So good! Can't wait to get more.
Ordered drunken noodles totally gross. No season no spice flat yucky noodles never again san sai is way better
The food is very delicious! This was my second time coming here. My partner and I ordered egg-rolls and crab rangoon as appetizers but they accidentally gave us two orders of egg-rolls without crab rangoon. When we brought this up to them, they were super kind about it and quickly got us our correct order.
Delicious food made in less than 10 min, and very friendly staff.
We ordered the Pad See U, Mussamon Curry, egg rolls, Crab Rangoon, and Pork Bun.
Don't know what happened to this place. Forgot to include rice with my order, and all of the sauce leaked out into the to-go bag even before I left the place. Wonder if it is under new ownership...
My husband had the yellow curry and said it was the perfect level of spice. Great flavor! I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken and it was delicious! Service was good and quick. Limited seating available.
I am writing this as a warning to any future customers to beware of hygiene of this place. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken while out with friends and found a strand of hair tucked within the noodles. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take a photo of the hair because I didn’t think I would be posting about this, but here I am. I am just writing this to let it be known that future customers should be wary of the cleanliness of their food and any potential food poisoning. I do not know what other standards are not being met.
In terms of food, portions are large, but frankly, the noodles are sloppily stirfried and overly greasy.
I will not be coming here again. I didn’t bring this issue up with the staff, but I am writing this in hopes that they know this is absolutely not acceptable for a restaurant to be doing and that any cleanliness standards they are using should be improved upon.
Really good, first time I’ve had Thai. I got fish curry and definitely recommend it :)
Bland. Flavorless. Overly sweet.
I ordered through UberEats. I ordered medium to hot Pad Thai. Absolutely no spice. I wrote in the notes, the spice level and chopsticks. I received neither..
The food was absolutely amazing!!
Have now had more bad experiences with food quality than good. Often get my takeout or delivery home only to realize it’s cold (I live less than 2 miles away), dry, or bland. And the vegetables are always off — either not cooked enough, overripe, or left in huge hunks you have to carve apart for yourself. When it’s good, though, it’s really good! Staff are very friendly too.
The lady at the frontdesk has that weird coldness about her gesture and mannerism. Didn't feel welcome so won't go again.
Although the food was good for the money, I've had better Thai food in STL.
cute little thai spot in cwe! Friendly staff and delicious food! Love the crab rangoon here especially!!
Consistently delicious!!! The lady at the front desk is always so nice. I forgot to order an egg the time before last and she didn’t even charge me. When I eat the food, I feel warm and happy inside. I’ve dined in & carried out and do prefer the latter. Dining room is small but functional. Thai 202 is definitely worth trying out.
Great people great service
Excellent people great service
Highly recommend the red curry with chicken!
Very kind
Tried again, and it turns out the secret is just to ask for it SPICY! Pad kee mao was delicious, and the pineapple fried rice had just the right balance of hot and sweet.
Next time will give the pad thai a second shot - without spicy it tasted like ketchup, but the second time was so good with heat it's worth trying again.
STILL My favorite place to eat!
Everything we had was absolutely delicious, service was great, no complaints at all
Thai food standards found here. The owner was super informative and helpful. Enjoyed the Tom Yum Soup.
Amazing Thai food!
Got takeout on a busy Sunday night. Fried rice tasted awful like it had gone bad, so we threw it away. Chicken satay had good flavor but was pretty dry and the Tom yum soup was fine.
Food delicious fast friendly service and food was ready quickly. Cool location in CWE
Best soup in St Louis
My wife and I have been just once here so this might be a biased comment. We have been to maybe 2 different Thai places in the STL area and we would rank this one as #3. Food was not outstanding, the local is small and not too many spaces to dine in. We feel like the prices are not according to the quality of food.
This Thai establishment is so rude to Asian costumers…if you ask something they just look at you and point…or sometimes ignore you… they have a different treatment with American customers they treat them with a smile and greetings… the foods are not that good though they act as if they have the most delicious thai foods in town….
Really love their chicken & shrimp teriyaki ramen bowl! And want to try their mango boba next time🙏🧘♀️😌
Tasteless. No spice whatsoever.
Delicious
Good good. Fast service.
Came here for some lunch with my spouse, and we had the pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and steamed bun, and everything was fantastic. The food came out quickly, and they also gave me a bottle of water on the house. My spouse had the mango boba which was alright, nothing really to write home about but still tasty.
I love everything about this place - small, independently/family owned, and the food is incredible. The owner truly cares about your experience here, and is incredibly accommodating of special dietary requests. Love, love, love this place. The vegan options are amazing.
The pineapple rice is out of this world!
The food was Great yummy 😋🤤 👍🏾 came out quickly
I had pot stickers w/ beef & noodle 🍜 soup.... Friendly Staff... Large menu options... Most definitely returning to try more 🤗 Not much for sitting area🪑
The best Thai food in Saint Louis!
Super fast service.
Great flavor but as usual for Thai restaurants expensive. Meat is always extra charge.
Amazing green curry!
Order Pineapple fried rice with shrimp & crab Rangoons! Delicious & fast!
Worst pad Thai I have ever had
This is a no frills, clean, and solid Thai food spot. Food was out quick and was tasty. The spice levels were accurate. Pad Kee Mao had really wide thick noodles that were different, but good. Pad thai was sweet and flavorful. Spring rolls were mini but 4 per order. Service was good. Pricing is on par with other Thai food in the area.
Wow wow wow this place is amazing!!! I had the yellow curry pineapple fried rice and pad see-u and it was 🔥🔥🔥
Very good and actually authentic Thai food. I had the pad kee mou and it was some of the best I had. My mom was surprised how much shrimp was in her fried rice. Will definitely come back here any time I am in st Louis
One of best Thai food I had! So good. Definitely coming back :)
Tgird visit to this place for a quick lunch. I ordered the pad ped....unbelievably delicious! Food hit the table in 5 minutes.
Delicious food!! We are on site and our food was given to us in Togo containers. At first I was like…okay… but after digging in I didn’t care! This food is phenomenal and delicious. My husband said it renewed his belief in Thai food again. Red curry with rice noodles is delicious!
It was simple and our food was good! Recommended
Sweet family! Great customer service. They will do anything to make sure your order is correct.
The food is served in plastic Tupperware, is very underwhelming, and kind of pricey for the small portions. The Thai ice tea comes in a cheap plastic cup and the ambience is off/small/cluttery. This place mostly receives online orders and it shows from their dismal in person experience. It’s okay but not a great place.
Never really had a problem ordering from here until recently. My partner ordered the yellow curry (which is never anything above mild spicy) and it was SO unbearably spicy that he took one bite and threw the rest out. I couldn't even try/eat my pad cashew because whoever made it did not even bother to read the order and put chicken in it instead of the tofu that was ordered. Our entire meal literally went in the trash because of the cook's negligence. Thankfully, Postmates refunded our money, but it was still a huge waste. You wouldn't do that to a customer ordering in person, so please do better for those that choose to use a delivery service.
I had a great time at Thai 202! I had the pad-garlic and pepper with tofu, and my friends got the yellow curry with pork and pad thai with tofu. I personally felt my dish was a little salty but still delicious. Everyone else loved their dishes and the portions were great, especially for the price! Everything was served pretty quickly, but it was served in take out containers, even though we were dining in, which made it difficult to mix the rice and dishes while eating.
Love the pineapple fried rice and Pad Thai!
I’ve ordered a red carry and this place absolutely sucks!!! If I can give negative stars I would!!! I do not recommend this place at all!!!
Great tasting food for a very reasonable price! It is a favorite for many students on the medical campus.
Thai202 is one of the cornerstones in the CWE food scene. The food is amazing, service is great, and you’re looking forward to your next visit there.
Amazing experience. Highly recommended. The best authentic Asian/Thai cuisine experience I have had. We got the curry noodle soup, a pineapple fried rice with tofu, pot stickers and crab rangoons. The curry soup had a great flavor pallet, being somewhat spicy and somewhat sweet. The pineapple fried rice has a great distribution of cashews, pineapple, raisins, and edamame . Pot sticker tasted fresh and the rangoons had some garlic in it making it flavorful and lively.
I have been coming here every time I’m in town for five years. It continues to have its charm, nostalgia, and feeling of home-cooked love.
The food was tasty but my daughter's food a Cockroach (well done!)
The owner refunded the full money(that's the reason for 5 star)
Delicious and authentic Thai food! Only qualm is that the rice was in small portions and served in a disposable bowl. Perhaps only happened when I was there. Otherwise, the food was good.
Excellent service and the crab ragoon is amazing heck all the food is amazing...
Fantastic little hole in the wall. They offer tofu as one of the protein options. Huge menu with many kinds of curry and noodles.
Love this place food is amazing
Review from an Asian, who lived in Asia. -
Overall was ok - but every dish was sweet, which isn’t very real thai savory if that’s what you’re looking for. Lots of MSG.
We ordered:
Pad see u
Tom kha gai
Beef salad
Massaman curry
You only get Plastic takeaway dishes and cups - environmentally not friendly as well. I was a little concerned how hot the soup was and the plastic started to deform- not sure if that’s any good for your body.
The flavor is lacking at this place. You could definitely get better Thai food for the same price in other places in STL. I ordered the chicken pad thai, and I’ve never had pad thai like it. There were very few pieces of chicken and it was the wrong type of noodles. All I tasted was sweetness and nothing else. Very disappointed in the food here
Food is really yummy, and they are pretty fast with service.
My husband and I just had the drunken noodles
Omgoodness good good good !!!! The customer service was awesome, The did NOT disappoint 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thai 202 quickly became a favorite when I moved to the CWE area.
There really isn’t an option to eat on site (only two small patio tables outside), but the service is always fast. The food is affordable, yet delicious (pineapple fried rice is a fav). And they even have boba tea!
Taste of every dish ordered is on point. Never disappointed me or my family. One of the best Veg dumplings I have eaten. Curries are consistently flavourful every-time.
One of the best Pad Thai’s & Crab Rangoon. But while I was waiting for my food a cockroach fell from the ceiling. So if you don’t mind that part would recommend.
Fan-frickin-tastic. I went with my wife and daughter (who is a freshman at SLU). Dropped her off after spring break and needed something substantial outside of the fast food fare. This was perfect. Quick service, fresh food, reasonable prices, you can't go wrong. The food though is the star here. I had a basil beef that rocked me to my core. I'll be back.
This has been our go-to restaurant for carry out for over three years! The food is crazy fast and consistently delicious. Highly recommend the Pad See Ew.
The pad Thai and papaya salad were wonderful! Very flavorful. Highly recommend.
Hit or miss, and the restaurant honestly seems to be heading down hill. They were one of my favorite spots for Thai curry, and I haven't been able to say that the last few times I've been. The appetizers are pretty good, and the service is usually fast. The location is nice, restaurant is always clean, but it is small. The workers are nice, and I really hope they do something to fix the quality. They used to be great authentic Thai food.
