Had to wait to be seated, even though there were maybe only 4 or 5 tables seated.
No dessert available..at all.
Men’s bathroom had graffiti and the toilet seat was only half attached.
Food was good and hot and arrived quickly.
Gordon Ramsay needs to visit here. It wouldn’t take much to make it more inviting.
The last time we visited (4 yr ago?) the experience was better.
Service was great, very fast. We dined in for a late lunch. I ordered pad thai, it tasted more like tomato paste then I'm used to. I thought it'd have a stronger peanut flavor. The chicken was very dry and did not taste fresh. I wouldn't reorder or recommend this dish. Crab Rangoon was yummy.
This is one of my Favorite Thai restaurants. Actually I dine here often. Whatever your preference, dine in, carry out, or delivery, you will enjoy it. The Thai dishes are excellent, served promptly, and always hot. If you prefer mild over spicy just tell them when you order. They will gladly make it as requested. The service is great and everyone is friendly. Their English is very good. I have been here 49-50 times and enjoyed every meal.
I don't know if they were understaffed, but the waitress and waiter were not attentive. Had to ask for things multiple times, including refills. Soft Spring rolls were meh. Shrimp Pad Thai was a 5 of of 10 ( bunch of noodles and 6 small shrimp-don't waste your $). Thai chicken soup was flavorful, though, and the hot tea was the best thing in this place!!!!! Oh, by the way, clean your restrooms.
Love having Thai here. I seldom share with my wife but the Pad Thai here is perfect to share with a large soup. Tom Kha is our favorite soup here.
Yellow Curry Fried rice is Yummy

Stopped in first thing on a Saturday and the service was great and the food delicious. Will be returning.

I normally don’t write reviews but this was required as the lady on restaurant was not welcoming at all. My son has allergies and online the food was missing the description so I went physical to the restaurant and asked for menu. The lady told me they don’t have take out menu in response I asked if I can just take available menu and bring it back. She rudely asked where you taking it, like I am going to steal her menu , sure that was very wrong of stereotyping a brown guy. Sure if that would be a Caucasian she would have been to provide a menu.
Toon was our server, she is full of joy and fun!! She is always the server on Sunday, definitely come and see her. She makes our day brighter. One of my favorite Thai place. The food is super yummy!! Everything I have tried is amazing. definitely try the mango stinky rice! This is best place to go.
Great price, great service and great Tai food.
At most Thai restaurants Pad Thai is too sweet for me and I get Pad See Ew instead, but at Mali Thai Bistro I like their Pad Thai better than the Pad See Ew. Excellent flavor without being too sweet. The person who took my carryout order over the phone was very polite, and the food was ready when I got there.
The service was friendly inviting and super fast but the food was not good to me I got chicken pad thai and the chicken was so dry I almost choked for 15$ not worth it also the crab Rangoon was cold in the middle I'm super pregnant and left hungry and unsatisfied I remembered eating here with my aunt and it being delicious but tonight was not good
Its the best, nothing more needs to be said.
Our go-to place for Thai food. As much or as little spice as you want. We generally go mild, and the pad Thai is almost sweet. I've tried a few more adventurous dishes, and all were very good.
Best Thai food in KC area!!! We've been going here since they opened in 2015. They are the same owners as Baramee in crossroads and another in River Market area.
A favorite place of mine 😍
I always struggle with loud and busy environments, but this place has been a peaceful experience for years. The servers are very friendly and most of all the food has ALWAYS been delicious! I never had any issues here other than eating too much and needing to nap for hours afterwards!
It was great!
Very expensive for what you get. Isn't great- just adequate.
Bubble drink is tiny($10) and mostly ice.
So I have never had a problem with Mali Thai. Other than the occasional dry Pad Thai or when I ask for the spice to be hot…it’s not, but overall the food is always good and the people are always nice. However, today I called in an order and when I arrived the lady asked me my name, I tell her and she said, “ what?” with a frown and a slight attitude, not…I’m sorry what did you say, can you repeat that, etc. Then I asked for soy sauce and she gives me my total, which was different from what I was told over the phone. When I mentioned this, she says she charged me for soy sauce. I told her I’ve never been charged before, she then says…one is free, but not three. Mind you, this is the first time I’ve asked for a specific amount and they usually give me two packets. A very different experience than I’ve ever had so that’s why I gave 2 stars.
I'm genuinely disheartened to share my recent experience with this restaurant, especially after looking forward to a cozy dinner at home. Imagine spending close to $100 on a meal you're excited about, only to be told it'll be ready for pickup in about 30-40 minutes. Sounds reasonable, right? Unfortunately, things didn't quite pan out as expected.Upon arrival, the welcome was anything but warm. A simple inquiry about the wait time was met with a less-than-friendly attitude, which already started to sour the experience. We were told, somewhat dismissively, to wait another 15-20 minutes. No problem, we thought, and decided to step out and return after a short while. However, when we came back, hoping our dinner was finally ready to be taken home, the greeting was even chillier. Asking for an update seemed to annoy the staff member further, who repeated the 15-20 minute wait time with a tone that felt unwelcoming. All we wanted was a clear answer or estimate on how much longer our food would take, but it seemed like too much to ask for.Honestly, it's disappointing. We weren't expecting red carpet treatment, just some basic courtesy and communication. Sadly, this experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I'm pretty sure it was my last visit to this restaurant.
Best Thai around
This place is an unexpected delight! As someone who has a long history cooking authentic Thai food, this place has it made.
Absolutely perfect Panang curry and delicious drunken noodles. Spice level was also spot on, everything fresh and fast. Yum!
Lettuce was a little turned in the fresh spring rolls so we couldn't eat them, but it wasn't last time. Everything else from here has been absolutely great!
BEST Thai food in KC! Probably the entire Midwest! If you're in KC, its definitely worth checking out. Go Chiefs! 👍
Definitely one of the top Thai places in the KC Metro area. Restaurant is clean and the staff are always friendly. It is a little known secret so it is usually not crowded and it makes for a relaxing atmosphere. The food is excellent(Pad Key Maw is my go to) and I think they have the best rangoons I have ever had. Highly recommend.
Great food, fast service
Mali Thai never disappoints. The food is good. The staff is always friendly.
Food was good, spiciness was wonderful..the only issue is that they serve each individuals meal at different times...ours were ten minutes apart
Food is tasty but if you are vegan or vegetarian be careful! Their doordash menu contains dishes that appear vegetarian but are not! They don't list all the ingredients in the description, I wish i knew my Thai Fried Rice contained fish before eating it! I feel like this could become a serious problem for people with allergies. I will not be ordering again because now I'm unsure of what is actually vegetarian and it's not convenient to have to call to ask about every menu item.
We have dined in twice now. The first time our server was great and had good suggestions of what to order. The second time service was still good, maybe a bit less attentive as they were pretty busy with carry out and several tables. Both times food was wonderful. We look forward to going back.
I've been eating there for a long long time and absolutely love the curry. I did notice the last two times the portions are smaller than they used to be and the cost has gone up. Not much of a value anymore. Still taste great
Ordered to go by calling in, super nice and the pad Thai and spring rolls are the best I have had in the area!!!!! So great!!!!!
Plenty of good choices
Well, sugar, that Pad Thai we had just ain’t worth the fuss! It was blander than a glass of water in a desert. Tasted like plain ol’ noodles and chicken, not a lick of flavor to be found. Bless their hearts, but I won’t be goin’ back there, no siree!
But seriously pad Thai was bad.
We always enjoy Mali Thai. This time I had the Beef Thai fried rice and it was delicious and made two meals.
The food here is awesome.
Ordered to go, pineapple fried rice( medium heat) no flavor no heat ! Soon as I came through door I was asked if I was ready to order with little to no time to look over menu. Ordered food and paid waited 14 min( which isn't bad) what pissed me off is when she brought my food out and she place my food on the counter didn't even hand it to me and then having her to ask me if I paid for my food. I watched six customers come in and pick up their food & asked their name and their food was handed to them No question asked if food had been paid for. Won't be back & wouldn't recommend . My food is flavorless and customer service was enough for me to take my money else where.
We ordered delivery and everything was delicious! Food was hot and portions were large.
Our first experience with Thai food, the staff was friendly and helpful with us not knowing about the food. Great food and service.
Pad See Eaw was fantastic. Best I’ve had around here. Great service too!
Love their food but yikes they're expensive. We're not going back for that reason.
Disappointing Experience at Mail Thai
I recently ordered the chicken pad Thai from Mail Thai, and I must say, my experience was far from satisfactory. The dish was supposed to feature chicken, yet it barely had any chicken in it. To make matters worse, the overall taste was reminiscent of fish, which was quite off-putting and gross. It's clear that the quality of their food has taken a nosedive.
Having been a customer of Mail Thai for some time now, I'm truly disappointed by this decline in their standards. The chicken pad Thai used to be a favorite of mine, with its perfect balance of flavors and ample chicken. However, this recent experience was a stark contrast to what I've come to expect.
I hope that this review serves as constructive criticism for Mail Thai. I believe that honest feedback is essential for any establishment to improve. I sincerely hope that they take this feedback seriously and work on restoring the quality that their customers deserve. Until then, I'll be hesitant to order from Mail Thai again, as this experience has left a negative impression on me.
Love the food here. I'm definitely a "regular". They offer a wide variety with the option to choose your protein and spice level for each. Staff are super friendly. Take out is always spot on. If you want mild with a table full of hot be sure to go mild not medium they adjust in the kitchen for the table average.
Good Thai dishes, lots to choose from. Wine and (really good!) Thai beer, no cocktails. Good bubble tea and Thai iced tea. Waitress was very good and patient with kids.
Service was fast and food was good, but the physical environment seems worn and dirty. The tables felt sticky and the bathrooms were filthy and ill-maintained, like an old and neglected service station. Such conditions may be acceptable when you stop somewhere for gas, but the thought that this eatery's kitchen may be equally ill-maintained and dirty is disquieting.
All six of us in our party liked our food. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. They split our check into three at the end of the meal very quickly and efficiently.
The crab Rangoon appetizer was the best I have had recently.
Awesome 🤩!
Honestly, i was looking for a really delicious Tom Yum soup in the area!
Didn’t find anything that i can call it Tom Yum! But here, I found the real taste of the Thai Tom Yum soup, it was so delicious and very tasty! Also I never liked the Rangoon but I absolutely loved those crab rangoon! Curry was good and crab fried rice was great!
It was the first time for me and my family but it’ll never be the last!
Thank you so much for the service you have, very friendly, kind and helpful staff!
Please keep serve the same quality of food as we had today and I can’t wait to come back again and have the amazing Tom Yum!
This is among the best options for Thai food in the metro. The pad Thai is incredible and the generous portion size always leaves enough for leftovers. The fried rice and Tiger Cry Beef are also great dishes.
Give yourself plenty of time to eat at dinner, as they tend to get very busy!
Be aware that if you try to come in within 1 hour of them closing, you will be rushed to order and eat so they can close precisely at closing. We were also quickly reminded that they close at 8pm. It definitely did not feel welcoming at all. We even watched them turn away customers who came in 35 minutes before closing. Where we live, we’ve never seen a restaurant turn away service, no matter how close to closing time they are. It was astonishing.
We’re giving a 3 star review as the food was on par with other Thai restaurants we’ve eaten at and feel it’s fair to give some credit to the food rather than a rating solely on their customer service.
Portions were very large. Spiciness had four steps as opposed to the five steps that I was accustomed to in the St. Louis area. Not knowing what to expect, I chose mild Spiciness for my Pineapple Fried Rice. The spouse chose medium Spiciness for her Pad Thai chicken. They tasted about equally spicy. We also split the Mali Thai Platter appetizer - Crab Rangoon, crispy spring rolls, and soft spring rolls - very tasty.
Loved this l quick quiet Thai bite.
I ordered the Panang curry, spring rolls, and crab Rangoon. My friend got pad Thai. (Yes we’re basic when trying a new restaurant)
Everything was very fresh and hot and tasted great.
The chef was a little heavy handed with the fish sauce on my friends pad Thai and the waitress was very understanding and took the meal back and didn’t charge us (she only ate one bite), so kudos instantly.
The portion sizes are huge- I ate my Panang, gave a lot to my friend, and took some home for dinner.
The decor is great.
Awesome food, got curry was amazing ❤️❤️❤️, looked so nice inside, lots of elephants 🐘🐘🐘, for too a while though
We’re new in town and have been trying out a different restaurant every weekend for the last couple months. Mali Thai Bistro ranks among our favs! Excellent food, service, atmosphere! We shared the Panang Curry & Thai Cashew Nuts and both were delicious!
I typically think Mail Thai is very good but this evening was takeout and not as good as usual. It seemed off. This will not keep me from eating here again as everywhere has off nights
Came for lunch on a Saturday and very good food. The service was friendly. Would recommend going during lunch, the price is a little more reasonable.
I placed an online order for delivery. I ordered the Mali Thai Platter and left instructions to substitute extra crab rangoon for the soft spring rolls. These instructions even appear on my receipt. When I received my order, I had extra soft spring rolls and no crab rangoon. I called the restaurant and was put on hold for 15 minutes until someone came back on the line, admitted they had made a mistake and refused to do anything to correct my order. So, I ended up paying $12.99 for two crispy spring rolls and no crab rangoon. I will give my business to Thai Spice in the future.
Early lunch. I am grumpy and judgemental. They did very well. Wish to try many things there.
Best Thai we’ve had in the KC area in years! We had the chicken pad Thai and the chicken red curry and both were so good! The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable.
The staff was super friendly and was HUSTLING through the rush. We always had drinks and they came to check on us often despite the lunch rush.
This is now going to be our go to Thai place hands down.
Hands down the best chicken pad Thai and red curry chicken we’ve ever had! We have lived and eaten all over the country and this is #1! There was only 1 server during lunch rush and she crushed it! Attentive, polite and timely! 10/10 recommend and will go again!!!
Very large menu selection.
Helpful friendly Staff.
The food was excellent.
Highly recommended.
Excellent authentic Thai small business/restaurant. The Owner was working and very friendly, we shared a laugh over Square anecdotes. The food was spectacular, and the night we went it was cozy and quiet because rainy weather had most ordering takeout.
My personal favorite Thai option in town. Seems to be the most authentic option. Big flavors, multiple spice levels available. Recommend dine-in for optimal experience
The service was excellent, and the food was wonderful. We had crab Rangoon and pot stickers for appetizers. I had a bowl of the Tom Kha soup, which was perfectly sweet, sour, and medium spicy, followed by an excellent panang curry. My wife got the garlic shrimp over mixed vegetables and said it was one of the best meals she's had in a while - and she doesn't usually go for Thai food.
If you're in Lee's Summit and looking for a great Thai restaurant, Mali Thai is the only place to go.
First time here and only ate Thai a couple of times before so I’m not an expert, but the food and service was really good. I’ll be back.
Food was really dry, even the curry. Terrible rangoon
The food and service are always top notch!
I love the mango sweet rice but all the main entrees taste super fishy. I thought I would be safe trying the chicken cashew but still fishy. I normally like Thai food but I wish there was a wider taste pallet then fish.
One of the most authentic Thai places in KC!
Placed an order around 10am on 12/24 for Christmas eve dinner. Total of $200 and scheduled to pickup at 6:30pm. Arrived at 6:25pm to a dark restaurant and a sign on the front door, 'closed, water pipe break'. I'm sympathetic to this but no one contacted me. Not a call, not an email. Instead I got notifications stating all is well for pickup at 6:30pm. No Christmas eve dinner for the family.
Next day I noticed I was still charged for the meal. After Christmas I contact Mali Thai to ask for a refund. No apology. Didn't acknowledge this was even an issue for me. Just 'our water pipe broke so we closed'. Very odd there wasn't a list of orders to contact, letting each know about the situation. Anyone would understand. But to ignore us, charge us and not even attempt to make it right? Business must be really good.
Amazing food and great service! Would recommend
If you are craving Thai food in Lee’s Summit, Mali Thai Bistro should be your top choice! We ordered Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, and Edamame. We requested the Chicken Pad Thai dish to be made as spicy as possible…they weren’t playing around! Very spicy but still tasty. The spring rolls were extremely fresh. The edamame was steamed perfectly. We ordered our food for pickup and it was ready on time! Quick and easy to order. Yum yum yum!
Wonderful food and service
Me and my wife have been wanting to check out this place for a while. First of all I would like to say the appetizers where great! Now as far as the entree's not so much. My wife ordered the combination fried rice with extra shrimp. When she received her rice the shrimp were just scattered on top of the rice like someone had just grabbed them out of a bag and threw them on top of the rice, which turned out to be the case. The shrimp were cold they had not been cooked throughly at all the rice was fishy from the uncooked shrimp. The rice was under cooked and hard.
I ordered the Pad Pong Karee Rom which was mediocre to say the least the crab meat was not real and the scallops were under cooked. We told the waitress about my wife's cold shrimp and even put one in here hand so she could feel how cold they were. She was nice apologized and offered to replace my wife's meal but by this time we had lost confidence in thier ability to provide anything good except for decent appetizers. So we were basically done with this place and ask for our bill, she did not charge us for the fishy cold shrimp rice but we will definitely not be returning to this place. This is not the service that you give to new customers in you local community if you want to sustain a viable business. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of the appetizers and the waitress not charging us for the garbage they served us.
Best Thai Food in eastern Jackson County
Delicious Thai food, full service bar and the crab dishes have REAL crab meat!
This is the most authentic Thai restaurant in town. Very recommend to Thai and South East Asian people in the area. Nice and friendly staff, big portions, reasonable price, and clean. We will definitely go there again and again. ☺️
Nice and quiet. Best Thai food I have had in awhile. Crying tiger is fantastic.
Really great curry options!
One of the best authentic Thai restaurants in the south KC area. I try something new every time and I am always pleasantly surprised with the flavor and quality. The Panang Curry is an absolute must try. Highly recommend.
They clean everything and ask everyone to leave the place when they are closing. We happened to be there at 8PM once when they were supposed to close at 8:30PM. They did not speak well at all. They are rushing to close on our faces. They didnt even tell us in a polite way. They dont know how to treat their customers in a polite manner.
It was so good! Staff was wonderful. The flavors of the curry were perfect… can’t wait to go back!
Favorite restaurant in Lee's Summit. Lots of vegan friendly food!
Staff is always friendly and food is amazing. Portions are large.
Must go if you love Tai food
You need to try the Thai Cashew nut and Gang Massaman. My favorites so far!
Good solid experience. Enjoyed the noodles and Tiger Cry Beef
Good food, very friendly staff.
Great attitude from staff and nice vibe.
Worst Thai restaurant we have been to. Food is good enough like any decent Thai place but the service was terrible. They charged us for items that were never served, although we asked for them. When we pointed out, no apologies. Instead, we will try to give you refund. Not something we needed on a Friday night for a hardworking family. It makes sense why that place is always empty even on a Friday night.
I had the seafood pad Thai, it was very disappointing. The bubble tea was not the best.
The service is what you can expect from this sort of establishment. Don’t expect to be wowed by great customer service.
I could dare recommend this place to anyone.
The food and ambience were excellent. The service was a little slow. I will return.
The fried egg rolls were the best we’ve ever had, the tom yum soup was so delicious and flavorful. The pad Thai was different than what I’m used to, it wasn’t terrible.
Let me start by saying that I have been enjoying Mali Thai Bistro for many years now. It is a staple of Lee's Summit and my wife and I spend many meals here. Tonight's order was totally underwhelming unfortunately. My wife ordered a chicken Panang Curry, which was still delicious. I ordered a Chicken Pad Ka Prao, which you guessed it, still delicious. That said, we only received one order of rice to split between the two orders. It was a laughable portion to have to share.
Another sad, but potentially isolated event, was the state of our crab Rangoon. The usual light, creamy filling was nothing special this time. Just a generic crab Rangoon. It was wrapped in an unusual fried, puffy dough (see photo). We were very let down by their appearance and taste.
All of this to say that we spent over $40 for a very mediocre presentation and taste. Will give it another try as this could be an isolated event, but I'm a little skeptical at this point.
The best pad Thai in town!!! Amazing food, amazing staff, and VERY FAST service!
Best Thai food in town! Service it always great, the staff is really friendly, and the food is incredible!
The yellow curry is one of the best in the whole KC Metro Area. They offer a tofu option, along with various spice levels for every palate!
Delicious food, great service, lovely ambience. Don't let the odd exterior of the building deter you from visiting this gem of a restaurant! The food is fresh and flavorful and the waiters are attentive and friendly. Top notch place in KC for Thai cuisine. Tom Yum Ka was great, crispy eggrolls cooked perfectly, Thai cashew was sweet and savory and magnificent. And the Thai Tea, both hot and iced were divine!
Food was really great! You need to try the sticky rice with mango for dessert! :)
The food was very delicious and the staff very nice. My only issue was that the spice levels seemed inconsistent but it was respectable and a spice tray was available for those who wanted more spice. A welcome intro to Thai food.
I've been on the hunt for the best Thai place near me and this place wins by far. I got Pad Thai noodles from 5 different Thai places in the metro and Mali Thai had the best taste, AND the best prices by far. My server was awesome too. Everything came out fast and perfect. Their coconut bubble tea was amazing and their regular Thai Iced Tea is addicting. I don't go out to eat often, but I've decided this is where I'm going if I eat out, every single time 🤣.
Absolute best Thai in the area. The Crab Rangoon with the dipping sauce is so good, the Tom Kha soup with tofu was my favorite that I’ve had so far and the Thai cashew nut with chicken was to die for. Great lunch prices, friendly service and the food came out super fast.
Update: We no longer come due to a bug we found on the side of one of our entrees, very upset about it as this was our fave place to eat. We did get an apology and didn’t have to pay but we left after we found it and our appetites disappeared and we were no longer hungry.
Good food can't wait to go back. Wings were great. Tiger cry beef was good. I enjoyed the chicken appetizer. I had the panang curry very good but I like those.
Service is terrible. They are very rude & never apologetic. Asked to speak with a manager about my recent experience & they said they don’t have one. The lady instead told me that i can go somewhere else. Wow!!!
Nice place. Good food and clean.
Food is amazing and the staff is the best. We are regulars and it's always so good!
After coming here since the 1st Year of Their Opening, I have mixed Opinions. Sometimes there is decent service, Sometimes not. It's really hit & miss depending on Who is Working & if the Ownerbor Her Husband is at this particular Location or not. Food is EXCELLENT. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. DELICIOUS. But the Service can be is lackluster.
Staff is very friendly and attentive. The Pad Thai was delicious, and the soup was amazing.
Higher quality food than many similar restaurants. Very much enjoyed.
One of our favorite restaurants in the metro. Yummy food, beautiful atmosphere, and quick service for lunch or dinner. Love their curry and pad thai dishes. Addicted to their fresh spring rolls! 🥰
This is the best Thai foods I ever had. Love this place .
So disappointed. Ordered delivery. Both got curry dishes. Containers half full. One small serving of rice for two entrées. $50 wasted. This is why Thai spice is our go to place. Will not recommend anyone eat here.
Based off my past delightful visits to this restaurant specifically recalling the ambience of a true Thai venue, beautiful servers dressed in traditional attire and light music in the background. Delicious aromas from behind those kitchen doors and best Pad Thai I could recall having. I bragged until I convinced my bf and good friend that this was going to be an experience for them to remember.
We remember this visit but not very fondly, I'm afraid.
The "host" wore an extremely irritated look on her face the entire time. It would periodically change from that to a look of heightened irritation.
Irritated at who, you may ask? Well, us, the guests.
She scolded me for having the menu underneath my arm on table( this is no exaggeration) and proceeded to constantly approach the table mid conversation to ask if we were wanting to order. We were also reminded that there were others in the restaurant that needed to order too....
After doing this multiple times,( which made us feel rushed and stressed out) we just had to hope the food would make up for the horrible welcome/ "service". Here too, we were wrong. We got 2 different appetitizers, which came really quickly, we thought. They had only opened about 30 mins before we had arrived there. We had barely started, when she was right back again to ask if we were ready to order our main choices. Food was bland and not at all memorable. My friends thought it wasn't too bad but then they'd never been there before and have not experienced how beautiful it used to be!
For me, it was a night and day experience... from years ago compared to recent events. We did not enjoy the server's pushy demeanor and the rushed bland food offerings.
Our favorite Thai restaurant in Lee's Summit. I had the cashew, vegetables with tofu and it made me very happy.
Service was friendly and food was delicious and delivered to the table quickly.
Best Thai place in Lee's Summit.
Edit note below** This is Northeastern Thai food at its finest! Absolutely super healthy and made to perfection. Ask for mild, if you are not sure of the spice levels, and your food will come without any spice. The waitress will bring you out a mix of spices so you can spice to your taste. The papaya salad and pork salad are soooo good! They have their fresh spring rolls down with the yummiest dipping sauce. Their Thai iced tea.......DIVINE!!! Try it!!
Edit:
People. This is a NON AMERICAN Establishment. They don't Have to "abide" by formally conservative apologies when its not in their culture. Have some sense and remember where you are. This food is INCREDIBLE!
If you are a grumpy, close minded unforgiving individual GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! If this offends you, it's probably for the best!
Wonderful Thai food! The service is always great! After traveling to Thailand I was so glad to find a place that offers that perfect Thai taste.
Food was good, just disappointed because I was missing a dumpling on my togo order— but they made it right! thank you for the refund, will be back.
Food is always amazing! One of our favorite places to eat in LS.
I love this place! I eat or take out food all the time.
Food is good, prices are high.
We have eaten at Mali Thai many times over the years.
ALWAYS, excellent food with good service. Our favorite local place to eat.
Best Thai food in all of lees summit or blue springs!
Delicious Thai food. Chicken satay really tasty.
Very good.
Best Thai Food in the Midwest. PERIOD! Their presentation makes the food tastes even better.
Pad tai is amazing!
Large portions, good food, quick service, friendly staff.
Spicy! Great flavor!
Best Thai in Lee’s Summit and arguably in all of KC. Amazing Panang Curry and Red Curry Catfish!
Good Thai food. One mistake on the order.
Delicious Tom Kha Gai Soup, Chicken Fried Rice, and Pad Kee Mao with Beef (Drunken Noodles).
Walked In to do a take out order, just 30 minutes before closing, and they were very accommodating. Fast and Pleasant service, we will order from them again if we are in the area.
Worst pick up experience ever!!! Went to pick up mine and my husband order a few minutes past the "pick up time" and were told that they gave it away. That someone else had picked up our order for us. We told them that was not possible since my husband and I were both standing in front of them, and showed them our order email confirmation. Another lady standing behind us the same thing, they gave away her food. So 30+minutes later after having to remake (so now up to an hour and 40 minutes total from placing the order) thefood get handed to us still with no apology. My husband told them that we were never coming back. The lady turned around and went "sure" and walked off. I get having a bad day or even screwing up but an apology goes a long way. We weren't looking for free food or to be reimbursed we were looking for an apology that was it. So yeah we're never going back there and our friends and family are never going back there.
Updated review on 8/21/2021. Our online order was set to be ready for pickup at approximately 7pm. We arrived at 7:15, entered the building, and asked for our food pickup. We were informed, after they could not find our order, that someone else had picked up our order. We informed them that we (my wife and I) would be the only people taking the order, but they insisted someone picked it up for us. After once again explaining that we would be the only people to pick it up, they proceeded to walk away for over 15 minutes before coming back with an iPad with recent orders on, mine included. I identified mine and explained we hadn't picked it up. We then waited another 10 minutes with no explanation and no apology until they finally brought our food. Once again, no explanation and no offer for a drink or appetizer, no offer to comp our meal, and not even an apology. I took the food and informed the server that we would not be returning to Mali Thai, to which they said only, "Sure." Needless to say I will never be returning to Mali Thai, and no one I am friends with will be either. What terrible service and attitude.
Delicious food at great prices!
