Pearl Café is ranked among the top-rated Thai restaurants in the St. Louis region. We offer a large selection of beers from around the world and 150 or more bourbons. Our Thai cuisine is made using the best ingredients and using authentic Thai recipes.
The service at Pearl Cafe cannot be beaten. The food is amazing, authentic, fast, and served by an amazing staff. Their drink selection is unparalleled. Their bourbon selection lays wast to bourbon bars, their beers are more varied than any beer snob could dream of.
Whether trying to impress friends/dates, or desiring to have an amazing family dinner, Pearl Cafe is your goto in north county.
First time; I asked for spicy, the spiciest possible and it was mild. The pearl curry was good with cashews in it but it was bland to me. Needs lots more seasoning and chili peppers. The spring rolls were ok, I wouldn’t try them again. The fried tofu was good, I wouldn’t eat it by itself so I put it in my curry. I would be up to coming back and trying more items though. The menu is decently large with lots of vegan/vegetarian options. Thai tea was good!
Best Thai Restaurant at Missouri! My favorite is the chef specials fried rice with chicken. I modified mine with smaller cut of red and green peppers same with onions. They even went above and beyond by made fish cake and Thai sausage that I requested! I literally ate there every day 😋 hopefully this will help y’all! Fried tofu and ribs also my other favorite here.
Amazing food! I can't speak highly enough! I haven't been in a while and this review prompted me to visit them this week! Such great tasting cuisine and nice staff!
Delicious food! Got a little carried away and ordered multiple items from the menu.
The good: The spicy basil chicken, pearl’s spicy curry, and stir fried garlic were my favorites. The sweet rice custard was really good (that got gobbled up quickly). The fried spring rolls were good. I will order these dishes again, and I recommend them.
The so-so: The sauce on the Thai braised chicken was good (their version of General Tso), but I wasn’t really feeling the way the chicken was prepared, it was a little tougher than expected. The chili wings sauce also had good flavor, but the chicken wings were kinda dry and hard (disappointing). The Thai butterflies had great taste, but were over fried and harder than expected. I would give all these dishes a second (or even third) try, because they had great taste, they all just seemed a little over fried.
Over all, the ratings is based on the taste of the food and the great service I received while there ordering my food. I will return.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Who says North County doesn’t represent when it comes to top notch restaurants? Well I certainly wouldn’t ever say that because Pearl Cafe is a prime example of outstanding cuisine right off Lindbergh highway 67. Wow. Everything on this menu it excellent. I’ll be back all the time to try the entire menu. My favorite appetizer here are the fried sweet potatoes.
Great Thai food place to visit. The ambience is nice and woody! You can have a beer with your loved one, put your initial/sign/message on the bottle and put it up on display! The food was great in indeed! I tried the green curry with chicken. The soup that we started off with was good too. The place is packed at lunch time!
Pearl Cafe has a great team and wonderful food.
Delicious!!!!!
Great place to try Thai food.
Always amazing food! I crave it!

I came in here and the food was horrible. I took one bite and I couldn’t stomach it on top of that They didn’t ask me if there was an issue and it took about 20 minutes for me to get a server first and last time coming to this place
We had the Pho beef and it was fantastic. It had so much flavor. It also had very fast service. The Thai coffee and Thai tea are great too!
Get the ribs appetizer! The curry and tea are also great.
Food was once amazing once again. Never lets me down what I want some good Thai food.
Pearl Cafe easily is among the top 5 Thai restaurants in all of the STL area. Their pad thai is particularly good. The curries and sauces are stellar. Super nice and friendly staff. The owner is very personable and seems hands-on. If you are in Hazelwood or Ferguson and want Thai food, this is the place for you. I work in Hazelwood and often stop by on the way home from work just to order take-out to take home. Totally reasonable pricing. Huge beer and whiskey selection.
Yum!
Best Thai food in St. Louis and beyond. Good service and fresh and good food.
Very delicious food, nice atmosphere, fairly good price, however beware of a misleading price on the menu, the Naan is $5, not $3 like the specials menu suggests. Apparently, if you get the rice that it claims comes with the meal and an order of Naan, it makes the bread $5, but if you substitute the naan for the rice, then it's $3? It's incredibly misleading and hard to understand so beware of that when your check comes!
Not the best Tai food I've treated, but it's satisfying.
Get the ribs
Been eating here for years… It’s really good
I can’t even describe the panic I felt when I saw you guys were closed and then the relief that followed finding out it was temporary. My favorite place to eat in the entire state of Missouri, I’ll be celebrating with a drink from the dragon bottle (if you’re able to purchase one I haven’t ever asked before) when the spot reopens !
Been going here for years! This place is phenomenal!!
The best place for your Asian food fix. The best food, never had a bad thing. The Pho is delicious...
This is the first time I’ve had to walk away from a plate of Pad Thai. It had the texture of being prepared last week and then sitting on a low heat plate before being served. Sorry, not going back for a second chance.
The food is so good!
The staff is very friendly.
Spice level 3 was good, almost more than I like, but still very good. Next time I will do level 2.
Just ate at Pearl where the food is great. However, I just watched them allow a couple to change their babies dirty diaper on a table they weren't eating at. Then later the owners sat a patron there without cleaning
That's when I had to speak up. I couldn't in good conscious let someone did behind that. The waiter moved the patron and cleaned the table if you want to call it that. Prior to this Pearl had been great whether ordering in or to go. I've never seen anything like this in my life . Disgusting!
Excellent food full of flavor and great service.
Been several times…literally the ONLY dine in restaurant I go to in NOCO. Best drunken noodles I’ve had in St. Louis as long as they don’t overcook the noodles. (That’s only happened once.). Highly recommend.
Local family restaurant. Best Tom Yum soup I have ever eaten. Fried Rice and noodles were both excellent. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful experience. The service was great. The atmosphere pleasant, and quiet. The food was hot, very fresh, and the presentation great. We'll definitely be back soon.
Absolutely horrible! I got food poisoning and I should of know better. I knew something didn't taste right when I was eating the chicken but I didn't go with my instinct and continued to eat it anyways. Ended up with the most horrible sickness for 3 days. After recovering I contacted pearl cafe and they refused to even listen to me. I spike to a lady that wouldn't stop screaming at me. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from this place.
Green curry and basil rice are really good.
I've been coming here for about a decade and it's one of the best Thai restaurants in St. Louis. Pearl is known for its spice and spice challenge so I question the reviews that say their dish wasn't spicy and presume that they didn't order with a spice level.
Update 03/16/24: Not surprisingly, t food took a bit of a hit during the worst of the pandemic, but it appears to have bounced back. The spice levels do seem to be more timid than before the pandemic.
North County and anywhere else, Fav !
Great, hidden gem type of restaurant that you absolutely should visit if you made it to read this and love Thai food.
The food has so much flavor, and the portions are solid. The interior doesn't have a ton of space, so plan accordingly if you're going at a peak time.
Never had a bad meal at this establishment. Never needed to add Condiments. Thats crazy!!!! I recommend the basil friend Rice, add pineapples
If you live on the south side and refuse to make the drive “all the way” up here for the best Thai food in the city, you’re only doing yourself. A disservice. Especially if you love spicy food and beer.
Amazing food and great service! The Pearl Spicy Curry is unbelievable 🤩
Update: I decided to try the Drunken Noodles. Not as good as the Pearl Spicy Curry!
Update 2: yeah, the Pearl Spicy Curry is where it's at!
Update 3: yellow curry with shrimp is very similar to Pearl Spicy Curry and you can get it in a lunch portion with a crab Rangoon, spring roll and soup.
What can I say? This place is absolutely amazing.
Always everytime. I drive an hour round-trip to eat here. Came for my birthday this week. Dine in,take out its allllllllll ammaazziinng. Crispy shrimp rolls alone are a meal 😋
The food at Pearl's is delicious. I especially like the butter chicken.
Have been going here for 10 years and have never had even a mediocre meal. Every time it is excellent no matter what you order. The staff is friendly and always helpful.
Excellent
Food was so good! (A little salty) The Pho and curries were both very flavorful! 10/10 I will return!
One of my favorite local thai restaurants.
Came back after not being here in a long time and it was even better than before. Staff were very kind and made sure the order was correct as we ordered.
Food was exceptional and I loved the Sen Yai Num Prik Paow with shrimp.
Went with a party of 4 others and everyone deeply enjoyed their dishes. Can't wait to go back again.
We are from Southern Illinois so don't get up there often but when we do, we have to work in a stop at The Pearl for lunch or dinner and they never disappoint!
My orders are always amazing! Quick service and great prices! Can't wait to come back!
The Thai braised chicken is to die for!
Very delicious and good selection if gluten free
Great food
This is the place to go BBQ chicken fried rice is the choice I always make.
Best Thai food that I have found. I love the pineapple fried rice with chicken.
Amazing food. Always busy at lunch time so getting there early always helps. Yellow curry is my favorite.
Great food and great service!
My favorite is the Bankok Noodle. Everything on the menu is awesome. My entire team carry out lunch about once a week. If you enjoy spicy food to try the spice challenge. Anything above spice level 15 will burn you twice!
Prices went up and quality went down
Consistently good food. At a fair price.
Tom kha soup is fantastic
Words can't even describe how much my husband and I love this place. We've been coming here for years. The best Thai restaurant in the St. Louis area hands down.
Service was horrible
Absolutely the BEST Pineapple Fried Rice!!!
Been eating here for years and you won’t find a better Thai restaurant 👏👏 do yourself a favor and eat here !!! King paow noodles is the best I’ve ever had !!!
I just ate at Pearl this week. Food was incredible! I had the Tom Kha with noodles. Owners are awesome plus they do Food Trucks as well! Props to the cooks. I'll definitely be back!
One of the best parts of my weekend. The butter chicken is sooo comforting
Drunken noodles are made with a thick Thai noodle instead of the thin vermicelli style and it is amazing
Caution spice level 1 is hot 2 is pain 3 will make you cry 4 will make you repent , confess tell them where the head terroirs is at .. but of you can take do it
This place kept me going through covid. The food is amazing. The staff are super friendly and always ask how my day is going. I eat there regularly and have never had a bad meal. This is the best Thai food in STL, hands down.
Great customer service, friendly and fast service. Food is always delicious.
If I am in the mood for Thai food Pearl Cafe is always my go to place to eat.
Best Thai in Stl
Amazing food. Really spicy and I love it
Pearl cafe is one of my area favorites. It’s hands down the best Thai food in the STL area. My favorites are the red curry, Pad Thai and most of all the pineapple curry.
My favorite Thai Restaurant in North County. Try the Spicy Spaghetti or the Green Curry and thank me later🍽️🥰🥰
Food was VERY good. Basic decor but clean. Will return!
Best Thai ever. Their food trucks are amazing too. Highly recommend.
Great service and food. Friendly staff
Best Thai food in the area
Pho did not have enough soup and they are charging me extra for additional soup, waited for 30 minutes but it did not get done. I won't recommend it for the price.
I eat here all the time. Love it.
Small-ish dining room with a huge selection of bottled beers and wonderful Asian quisine. 5 levels of spicyness.
Best pad thai
I got an order of pad thai noodles and they will dry and terrible no eggs no onions no peanuts no nothing just chicken and some sticky dried up noodles I called the manager to get a refund or to get this rectified and he told me I have to bring the entree back in so that they can see it and then they'll make me another one. Nickel-and-dimed business I will never ever Patron this business again poor customer service and very Petty as far as satisfying a customer
Great food!
Best thai food in STL. Period. Out of this world.
Been going to Pearl for years. It never disappoints.
Excellent service.Environment clean and food delicious.
Omg if you haven't been here this is a must! I grew up in Florissant in the 80's. I found this place in the past year and drive for 20 miles to eat here. The glass noodles are divine! Great service, food, ambience.
It's not bad, just not what I expected. My son loves it.
Food was amazing
This is a must try place 😍
First time and food was hot and fresh
very tasteful
Customer service was great
If you like Thai food spicy this is the place to go
Excellent Thai food, no argument and no other comment needed
So many beers to choose from! Thai butterflies were fried to crispy perfection. Pad Thai and drunken noodles were absolutely delicious.
Great food friendly staff.
IF YOU ENJOY THAI FOOD, YOU NEED TO COME HERE!! The service is fast and personable. The atmosphere is relaxing after a long day's work. THE FOOD IS FIRE! I've been here before but I'd only had their Pahd Thai but today I tried their Thai Rama with chicken and it was perfect for me. The veggies were cooked perfectly. The spinach was left raw (perfect choice for me as I HATE cooked spinach) and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The garlic peanut sauce brought the dish together beautifully. I will always recommend Pearl Cafe but I just fell in love with them all over again! Thank you so much!
Very clean and always amazing food!
Great place, great service and a nice Japanese Whiskey selection that grabs your attention. RFT recommended and that’s important!
Wonderful Thai food every time!
Love the food here. The pho and the wide rice noodle dishes are my current favorites.
Great food, great customer service
I was taken here for a work lunch and it's been my secret obsession ever since. I'll drive from east of the river to have their thai braised chicken! Remember to get it spicy!
A great little restaurant that we stopped at while making our way out west. The food was delicious. The team was knowledgeable and courteous. Definitely will visit again when next we pass through St Louis.
One of a few Thai restaurants my wife from Thailand can eat at. So it is awesome. I like it as well as well my friends at work. Great food and service. Good luck!
Great food...always busy. Totally worth the wait.
🔥 I have had a lot of rice in my time but this by far was the best I ever had it was amazing.
Best Thai food in all of st louis.
I’m always doing take away food is always great potions have gotten smaller but inflation and everything but always a nice spot very friendly
Yummy - must go
Pearl Cafe is a good option for Thai in Florissant. I could have stood for the Pearl's spicy spaghetti to be spicier, but it was still good!
Upon entry I immediately thought that the space was a bit tight. I sat down while I waited for a call-in order. The server was kind and offered drinks while I sat. The decor was the typical and grim. The food though was chemistry for all! I spent about $150. My family thoroughly enjoyed. The Pad Thai was exquisite!
