Offering a large menu of classic Thai plates served in refined environs, plus a bar.
The food is extremely sweet. From Thai tea to dessert, everything is triple sweetness than normal Thai dishes. Even the entree is very sweet. Iβm a fan of Tom ka kai however itβs way too oily and creamy here you can barely taste the soup for a sip. The portion is large for the price but you can get much better Thai food somewhere else.
The restaurant was clean, not super crowded, and most importantly the food tasted awesome. We ordered thai style skewered beef, panang curry, and khao soi. Every single dish was soooo good. Portions were really huge (lots of meat xo), so it doesn't feel super pricey! We'll visit againπ
Best Thai food in the area, in my opinion. Everything I have ordered has always been excellent, and overall the service is really good. I will say, this is not the place to go if you want to be done in under an hour. They take their time with courses and don't rush you, but sometimes we have found ourselves wanting to pay and leave and needing to wait a bit to do so.
Addieβs has been out favorite Thai restaurant in West county. We have been patrons, from the old location to this one in chesterfield. Favorites and crab fried rice and pad woon sen. Service is superb. We ordered yesterday, and they sent the wrong item. The ownerβs wife is usually the hostess personally delivered the correct order in no time. We also order catering/party trays.
Addies Thai house was a great place. Food was very good. Had red curry and it was very very good. Like the other Thai and Indian restaurants, they use a heat level. 1 = not hot up to 5 = very spicy hot. We had egg roles, rice, chicken and rice.
If u r vegetarian, they can make their meals without meat.
Itβs in a side building which they have the majority of.
Their is a bar inside (which was not being used when we were there)
The staff was very friendly.
The server brought water out in glass bottles for u to use and refill your water.
Cost of main course is about $17 to $20
The place was clean and beautifully decorated. The servers looked lovely wearing cute thai outfits. Our server was very pleasant, helpful and attentive. We ordered tom yum soup, fish dish and crispy noodle curry soup. Everything was delicious! And the food presentation noteworthy. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
We ordered carry-out, but the restaurant was clean and beautiful.
It was delicious!
The shrimp pad Thai was fantastic.
My husband loved the crying tigerβ¦
I donβt know whatβs in the dipping sauce for that one, but itβs INCREDIBLE. Absolutely recommend.
The BEST green curry Iβve EVER had. Great atmosphere. Friendly and fast service.
Service is not impressive at all - it was extremely salty; I never had this level of saltiness in my life
We were not able to eat even a half of it - I donβt recommend
It's a little higher price than I'm used to paying so I expected better taste and presentation. Also they didn't read the notes, they didn't supply utensils, napkins, or sauce

Chicken khao soi noodles is a must try !!
I FOUND A BANDAID IN MY SPRINGROLLS!!!!
While the restaurant was full, it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. After we ordered, the table that got seated after us got their food first. While this is forgivable once the appetizers arrived, Thai dumplings and duck spring rolls, I proceeded to take the first bite out of the long awaited duck spring roll, I found a piece that was particularly chewy. I had swallowed all of the first bite before I pulled out what seemed to be a used finger BANDAID... I urgently tried to call a waitress over to show them what I just pulled out of my mouth. I asked immediately to talk to a manager. I was revolted of the thought that I had been chewing on a bandaid for the last couple of minutes. I urgently made my way to the restroom to regurgitate. As this transpired my husband waited for the manager. I ended up making two trips to the restrooms. Coming back to the table after expelling what little I had in my stomach, I come to find out the manager had not made their way to the table. However the same stuff member we told about the bandaid had check to see if the manager had made their way to the table and left with the comment "Well you know how the boys are in the kitchen" followed by a laugh. I returned to the table after the second trip to the restroom and was appalled to find out the manager had not yet made their way to our table, I immediately got the attention of one of the staff to ask them where was the manager to talk about the revolting BANDAID I had just found in my food. To which the waitress said "Another one!", I was flabbergasted to know the staff all knew about the incident yet we had yet to speak to a manager. It took another 10 minutes for the manager to finally come to our table and the first thing they say is "I asked around in the kitchen and no one is missing a bandaid". No apology or acknowledge at this point, we not only lost our appetite, but any respect for this establishment. I told the manager we were not going to wait for the rest of the food nor pay for the meal. They reluctantly accepted however I can say with confidence, I will never eat at this place AGAIN. I would have a picture but the waitress took the evidence before I could capture it.
Addie's Thai House is a wonderful restaurant with flavorful Thai food made from fresh ingredients. The food is exquisitely prepared, from curries to Thai pho, all are delicious. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service make for a memorable dining experience.
BEAUTIFUL inside!! The bar is tastefully separated from the dining room. Both areas are unique and just give credit to the whole experience.
Incredible food, period. Thereβs a flavor for every mood, and a table for every party!
Amazing panang curry and peaceful ambiance for dining. One of the best versions of panang I've had. It seems they use coconut cream and it was very creamy with great heat. Chicken was recommended, and the quality was great and cooked perfectly.
Food is delicious. Pork pad thai and jasmine tea were very tasty. Great wait staff.
One of the best in the area!!
Best Thai curry in all of St. Louis! The food and ambiance are exquisite!!!
I can't say enough good things about this place. I had my birthday dinner here, and the food was DELICIOUS! This was the first time I went to this restaurant! I will be back!
Addieβs is my favorite Thai food in the area. I love the curryβs and Pattaya Shrimp! π€
We ordered carry-out, but the restaurant was clean and beautiful.
It was delicious!
The shrimp pad Thai was fantastic.
My husband loved the crying tigerβ¦
I donβt know whatβs in the dipping sauce for that one, but itβs INCREDIBLE. Absolutely recommend.
Our favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I especially love the red curry. We have been coming here for years.
Favorite Thai restaurant ever!
Wow! Best Thai I've had in Saint Louis
Food is amazing ..larb is my absolute fav!!
Delicious food. I got takeout and everything was warm and delicious. Just as good as when we dine in. We ordered the Tom ka pak, drunken noodles, and mussaman curry. Everything was top tier.
The food here is so good!!! I've never had curry so good. The service was meh, but it seemed like we had gotten there at shift change, so I'm not really worried about that. Definite five stars from me!!!
We love you, Addie's! Yellow Curry and Basil Fried Rice are my favorites.
Those that had chicken were all sick to the stomach that night and the next day. I recommend Immodium. My water glass was dirty and had lip marks on it. Server took way too long to get to table. There was a vibe of something being wrong in the place, the staff seemed confused. The atmosphere was very nice. Just wish everything else matched it.
It is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in town. Iβve been going to Addies Thai since 2016. I havenβt been here for at least 6 months since the service here was kind of slow the past few times I was here. I missed their Tom yum noodles soup so we came for dinner tonight. We got papaya salad, fish cake and moo ping for appetizer. For entrΓ©e, we got green curry with tofu and Tom yum noodle soup to share among two of us. I was kinda disappointed that the chicken in my noodle soup was too dry but the broth was tasty as usual. Green curry and papaya salad was on point. Other dishes were just alright. Service definitely needed improvement. Nobody came check on our table or refilled water. My all time favorites here are the Tom yum noodle soup, curry dishes and papaya salad.
The food tasted quite sour and the cook took a long time even though there were only 2 families and there was no internet
IT WAS SO DAMN HOT INSIDE THEY HAVE TURNED OFF THEIR AC. Ive told them several times and still they werenβt willing to turn on their AC and the table where we were sitting there wasnt even a fan above us idk but they are trying to save on electricity or something
Very expensive, I didn't like my meal personally but other menu items were good.
My fav Thai restaurant
Food was great we had a family 70th and all was nice
Addie's food is remarkable! Totally delicious! We've been twice now and the food does not disappoint. The service, however, is a disappointment! Both times! If the food weren't so delicious, we'd probably not go back. (E.g., we waited 13 minutes for someone to take our drinks order! The first time was at least 15 minutes).
This was the first visit for all three of us. We went for lunch on a Tuesday. We had the red curry, yellow curry, and pad thai, and all enjoyed our food very much. Our host and server were gracious and quick. The cultural decor items were very interesting and I enjoyed the chinaware. If you go for the first time, you may not be sure which door of the many to use. As you approach the building, look to the right for the single set of doors.
It was my second visit. Excellent service. The food is fast moving and high quality. The service was polite and on point.
Highly recommended.
Fantastic!!!! Absolutely loved this place. Authentic Thai food! Was a group and ordered several dishes of soup, noodles and curries. Every single thing was very flavorful! Prices were a little on the higher end but totally worth it. Cant wait to come back!
We are fans of thai food and we are so glad to have found this restaurant as its just amazing. Food is delicious and portion sizes are decent so worth the price!
Drunken noodles and red thai chicken curry is our staple here. We try one more dish every time we visit and they are amazing every time.
This was the best Thai food Iβve ever eaten. The staff was kind. The environment was calm and inviting. What a gem!
Great Thai food with below average service.
The food is always good but the service, especially from the ownership, is not always great. If great customer service is a high priority for you then go somewhere else, but if you are only concerned with quality Thai food then this is your place.
This place slaps so hard. Cannot recommend enough!
Great food and reasonable prices
Nice place for a fancy date
Sure is tasty
Food was great
Top notch place, their drunken noodles are bomb. Best I've had ππ
I would give negative rating if I could. The service was horrible. 10 of us friends went here for dinner by making a reservation last weekend. We reached the place early and noticed 1 empty table but were told that it is reserved and had to wait for our reservation time. So we waited patiently and the lady there made us wait for 15min after our reservation time even though there was an empty table. We made a reservation too. Why would you wait for someone whose reservation is at 7:45 and make us wait whose reservation is at 7:30?? However, what we noticed was that table was empty the whole time until we left the place. Now that is absolute negligence and nothing more!
Food was not up to the mark. We have eaten here before (takeouts). It definitely did not taste as good as it used to. We ordered thai tea with no ice. The waiter got us with ice and it was sweet (sweeter than sweet tea). We did let him know about it and he said he'll get us another one. Guess what he did? He just removed the ice and got us the same glass. We could clearly see that as now there is no milk/froth on top and is all dissolved. Least they could have done is told us they cannot an other one. But no, he had to lie to our face.
Never coming here again!!
Excellent lunch, I really enjoyed it!
The atmosphere was good although somewhat loud, making it hard to talk to each other at the table.
This was our first time at Addie's Thai House. It was a recommendation by our college friends. We went here for a monthly dinner night out. We alternate city and county restaurants to make it interesting and to try new places we have not been before.. We all enjoyed our meals. The food was very delicious and plentiful. We all had leftovers to take home. Grace was our server, She was very professional and courteous with a bubbly personality. I had the sweet and sour chicken entrΓ©e well balanced and flavorful. My wife had the Pad ThI noodles. She enjoyed them especially since they were able to leave out the garlic, she has an issue with garlic. Our friends each had different entrees s well. One had the spicy boat a combo of seafood, shellfish with a side of white rice. His partner had the pineapple fried rice. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would highly recommend Addie's if you like Thai food or if you just want to try new experiences.
Top notch thai dining experience.
First time here. We have been looking for a great Thai restaurant. This it it. Flavors amazing and service was excellent.
Food was excellent. Three in my party ordered the Garlic Chicken, Penang Curry, and the basil fried rice. Food was very flavorful and perfect spice for us (ordered heat level 3). Portions were large and we took about half of it home.
Looove their yellow curry chicken! The atmosphere is beautiful and the drinks are delicious. Hubs loves their green curry!
Totally recommend!
I have never had a bad experience at Addie's.
Its a beautiful fine dine place with well spoken and kind staff. One time we forgot to mention that we did not want meat in our rice and they quickly changed it for us and made it as per our requirements. Food is great! Prices are decent for a fine dine place. I love their panang curry and veg spring roll.
We loved the food and service. It is a bit expensive but with the large portions and delicious flavors it is worth it!
Favorite Thai restaurant in STL
Oh my God this place is good!!!!! No question about it, I would recommend this place to anyone.
We recently had our first dining experience at Addie's, and it was outstanding. The wait and support staff were top-notch. We ordered off of the price-fixed menu so that we could try a range of their offerings, and all dishes were perfectly executed. Tom ka, dumplings, shrimp with asparagus, mussaman curry (which is a substitution) and Sticky rice with mango. Having wanted to try a mussaman curry, we appreciated the willingness to substitute something that was not on the price-fixed menu. For any Thai curry lovers, we highly suggest that you try the mussaman, and Addie's.
Consistently delivers good quality food. You canβt go wrong
Very nice Thai restaurant. Good food and great service. Wish they were closer to home!
First time here. Busy, but had a reservation. Friendly helpful staff. Had off menu duck pad thai - was tasty.
I fell in love with this place in my first visit. Courteous staff, delicious food and varieties
Food was great, but heat level between our friends' orders was incorrect, with level 2 tasting like 3 and level 3 tasting like level 1. One dish was plain and without flavor. Overall, food was good and portions were large, but just some additional kitchen consistency would be better.
Same great food and the new place is beautiful. There are a lot more staff working the larger space. We were very happy with our experience.
Best Thai! We ordered the prix fixe dinner for two which was a great experience and worth every penny. We had the Tom Yum Goong which was enough for four people. It was loaded with mushrooms and shrimp, and had a tasty broth. For the appetizer we had the spring rolls which were good but not great in my opinion. There were six total. The main course consisted of Pad Thai with tofu and yellow chicken curry. The curry was the best Iβve had. It was creamy, had a great coconut flavor and there was plenty left for another dinner. Last, we had the fried bananas with ice cream. Delish! Our waiter wasnβt that great, didnβt seem to know answers to a lot of our questions and wasn't motivated to find out for us. He didnβt seem to care whose food belonged to who so we had to do some exchanging the next day with our neighbors. I know good help is hard to find right now. Overall it was a great meal and I would go back in a heartbeat.
Tom Yum was excellent.
So far, everything on the menu has been amazing! Some of the best drunken noodles Iβve had. The glass noodles are amazing as well. Honestly, I would eat their Tom Yum Pak every day if I could.
Recently had their sweet basil beef and was blown away.
Great Pad See Ewe! Had the #4 heat and it was outstanding. However I wouldn't want the #5.
We recently relocated from Florida and love Thai food. We researched, read reviews, and looked at many social media recommendations. After visiting several establishments and being unimpressed, today we went to Addieβs. The food was phenomenal, authentic, and fresh, and the service was fantastic. This is one of the best Thai restaurants Iβve ever been to. The rest donβt come close.
Yummmmm
What
There were two people and we got the mix appetizer, chicken green curry and garlic soft shell crab. The mix appetizers comes with sweet potato fries, tofu and spring rolls. We didn't take the spring roll and got extras of the others. The tofu and sweet potato fries were good, decent. The green curry with chicken was really good, asked for spicy level 2. It was not overly spicy and nice. The garlic soft-shell crab was very good. Also asked for spicy level 2 and this was the highlight of the meal. Very flavorful.
Environment
this was in a plaza. Decent amount of space available inside. Nicely decorated.
Niceness of the staff
Very friendly server though we didn't have overly many questions. We were able to get what we needed.
Dollar
It was relatively ok. I thought it was a little on the expensive side. The soft-shell crab was about 30$ the appetizer and curry around 15-20.
Yes
I would def go for the soft-shell crab again and the curry.
Great food, wonderful staff, huge portions, whatβs not to love? Pad See Ewe was amazing at a level 2 spice, spicy but not hot. Iβd suggest even getting the lowest level spice if youβre not a hot-head only because the dish can become one-note after a while without some additional spice. Chicken satay, spring rolls, and pineapple fried rice were also home runs. Iβm a big water drinker at restaurants and there was always someone ready to refill my glass before it even got halfway empty (or halfway full if thatβs the way you choose to see it). I love this place.
Very authentic food.
Our favorite Thai food for the food and atmosphere.
Best Thai ever! Quality and flavor!
Great food, great service. You get what you pay for!
Overall this place is consistently tasty with a good atmosphere. I read many comments knocking on the large portions and price. I love a good deal on my Thai food just as much as anyone, but this place is worth it when you dine-in because they take really good care of you - think white tablecloths, nice table settings, and very attentive service. My friends and I love coming here for birthdays or celebrations and, even with a group of 7 or 8, we get top notch service at Addie's. Once they were even generous to cut and plate a dessert we brought in to celebrate, since a friend had a dietary restriction. I recommend ordering "family style" and sharing if you're coming as a group, knowing that portions are big. It's likely that you don't quite need 1 entree per person. Our favorite order is the cashew tofu and yellow chicken curry. The chiang mai kao soi is pretty much the same as chicken curry but you also get noodles and bean sprouts and other crispy toppings that really make it! However the pad thai didn't taste as fresh when we came in last week and has declined over the past few years. The spice levels have been off lately - we've ordered 2-3s and a few times have tasted like 0-1's.
Food and service were so nice and satisfying. Highly recommended restaurant.
The only thing better than the service was the food. The Thai dumplings appetizer were a nice little treat. Wife and I both really enjoyed our meals and had plenty to take home. The atmosphere was clean and friendly, but maybe a little stiff if you are looking for somewhere to hang out and enjoy a drink or a game.
I just love this place. I have eaten Thai all over the nation and Addies is as good as it gets. The service is superb. The Tom Yum Goong is top shelf. I also recommend the Chu Chee Salmon!!
Cost of main course is about $17 to $20
Pretentious prices that do not have the quality to back it up. The fried spring rolls were sour which meant they served expired food.
The pad Thai was really wet, moist, and reeked of bad expired ketchup. The only edible food I had here was the duck curry.
The food is definitely not authentic to the Thai culture. It was definitely more of an Asian fusion with Indian roots, which is fine but please do not call yourselves Thai.
Never will be back here again.
Delicious food, great atmosphere.
Adorable place with outstanding food and service.
I've been visiting this place for probably 15 years. Who knows why I'm just now reviewing them now. This is the kind of place where you bring a date or celebrate an anniversary. The atmosphere is decidedly upscale, yet not in a pretentious way. The wait staff are all very polite and professional, and their dresses really step up the feel of the place. The food has always been excellent here, and portions are generous. They are if you haven't figured it out yet a bit pricy, though, so plan to spend at least $20-30 per person.
Ate on Friday July 14 for the first time and my family was impressed.
My son came back today, July 16, take out. Ordered pineapple fried rice (among others) and there was no pineapple in it! Chef may have forgotten to put it in.
Food still taste good, though.
Good food good atmosphere and good service. Recommended
A pleasant atmosphere with delicious food and service. I will definitely come back!
I've lived down the street from here for years. Went for the first time a few months ago. Why did I wait so long? I'm sure like a lot of people when I have a menu item I like. I have a hard time venturing from that. Every time I try something new here, it's delicious. I normally get the spicy stir-fried catfish, which is delicious. Tried the larb tonight and man. It was so freaking good! I already want to go back and order it again. Staff is always friendly, too. And whenever I dine in, I always have to get a Thai tea. It's like a trip down memory lane to a place I remember going growing up.
Great Thai restaurant. Food and service was great. Highly recommended to pair their plates with Thai beer.
We have eaten Addie's Thai several times, always take out, always excellent. Portions are huge packed well & stays hot. Best in St. Louis!
We used Addie's Thai house to cater a reception for the Washu med school. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the staff was easy to work with!
Food was delicious, service was great, and atmosphere was warm and calm. The restaurant is spacious as well. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant!
I loved their Pad Thai.
If you get the Dinner for Two, be ready for a LOT of food. Soup, appetizer, entree, and dessert. Everything was great and we had enough leftovers for at least another meal for the 2 of us. My favorites were the soup with shrimp, cashew chicken, and the fried bananas.
I can't speak on whether this restaurant is real Thai food or not, but it's delicious! I like to get the chicken cashew dish. It comes with white rice that you can get free refills on for the table. I also get myself a side of sticky rice. It's such a nice location low and I'm regularly in the mood for it!
This place has gone WAY downhill. Got a carryout that had no napkins or silverware and the containers had leaked all over the bag. On top of this nothing that was supposed to be crispy was and the food was very bland. Definitely not worth the high prices.
The food here was absolutely outstanding - some of the best Thai Iβve had in a while, and it was really terrific to see a nearby restaurant serve Malaysian food too. However, this otherwise excellent experience was marred by the owner loudly ranting at his staff over some sort of financial mishap; this went on for at least 15 minutes and could be heard throughout the entire restaurant.
New location is much bigger. Not enough menus. Took a long time to get waited on. I liked them at their old location much better. Very slow service! Not worth the time.
Nice restaurant
Good Food
All employees were very attentive
First time and loved it. I'd have to say the best Spring Rolls I've ever had! Just a really nice place to enjoy a meal.
Good food and ambience
Wonderful meal, authentic Thai food. Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Food was delicious. Dinner portion size is big enough to have a good sized lunch the next day.
A bit pricey but good food and was more than we could eat in one sitting. We went for lunch and appears there was only one person sitting and serving which she did a good job but was stretched thin.
Amazing Thai restaurant it is!. We ordered basil fried rice chicken with Tom Yum Goong soup. It was delicious and too spicy. If you want spicy say 3 or 4 star for spiciness.
My friend ordered another kind of dishes that was also good. At last we ordered Fried Bananas & Ice Cream which was ok ok.
Best Thai Restaurant in Saint Louis!
Loved the Pad Thai. Service was great. Will come back.
