Enjoyed the experience very much! Love the water in the Fridge! Great Idea!!

Diner Review №2

Food: I ordered 5 Spicey but was given no spice. In fact, the basic version of this pad thai is kind of bland overall and pretty disappointing.
Minus: Bland food and messed up order

Service: Service is non-existent, yet the ordering machine still prompts to give tips. There is no drink service (free water bittles are offered?) . The lady who gave me my food didn't speak English so she had to ask someone else what I was saying when I was simply asking if the order was mine (name on bag was facing away from me and she was holding it)

Atmosphere: Zero lack of meaningful staff interaction, everything is disposable and throw away, which means this place has a really bad footprint in terms of environmental consciousness. Floors and other aspects of the interior seem in disrepair. Overall, negative experience here and will not return.

Delicious food, very relaxing cafe, service was excellent. We found a new "go to" place

Diner Review №5

I've been going to Cafe N Me for years, ordering takeout and dining in. They replaced a traditional menu with a tablet at the front of the restaurant to place orders, which isn't necessarily a detriment in itself, but here, the system has replaced all human interaction. While dining in, we had no interaction with the staff, and all dishes were replaced with disposable options (A takeout order came in while I was there, and the staff didn't acknowledge them either). The food still tastes as good as I remember it, but the friendly café I used to frequent seems to have been sterilized. If you're looking to dine-in and are craving this style of food, I would highly recommend Saffron over Cafe N' Me sadly.

Diner Review №6

Food was okay, but this isn't a full-service restaurant. It's really a take-away or carry-out restaurant that happens to have tables available. Food is ordered from a kiosk. There is an option to tip. My wife and I tipped thinking the food would be brought to our table. Nope. We had no interaction with the staff other than our order number being called. We picked up or order, got our disposable chopsticks, and ate our meal. If you want Thai in Cape Girardeau, you don't have many options. This place is fine as long as you know what to expect going in.

Diner Review №7

The experience is really streamlined. Either order online or at a screen at the entrance and wait. Order specialty drinks or enjoy complimentary bottled water. The panang curry at the highest heat level isn't for the faint of heart but its amazing and the thai tea helped cool things down. Would absolutely reccomend.

Diner Review №8

The fried rice was extremely bland and the curry mediocre. The chicken in them were definitely from the same pot of boiled chicken with no herbs or anything to add flavor.
Atmosphere was depressing and empty. Feels like it was made to be delivery and they added tables as an afterthought; all utensils were plastic and food was served in lidded trays.

Diner Review №9

Just OK food, in what looks like it 'could be' a tiny restaurant if they wanted to convert it into one. It's really a fast takeout that gives you a pretty boring place to sit. Disappointing if you thought you were having lunch out. Not, "Oh No!" More like, "Well, were 'here' so..."

Diner Review №10

Very quiet atmosphere. However, excellent service and great staff
The person who helped me was very nice and accommodating
She spoke very little English, however, she did her best to understand what I was asking for (Sugar for my Thai coffee w/ bobba)
The self-service kiosks are clean and easy to navigate, and the food is amazing and authentic
It's definitely a try at least once and fall in love with place
Warning. it's SPICY and will definitely clear any sinus issues in the butt

Diner Review №11

The food is great and well priced. The eating area could use some music.

Diner Review №12

Diner Review №13

I got the chicken Pad Thai since it's the safest to go with when going to a new place. The flavoring seems right. I will have to try the curry next time, going to be interesting as there is no place in Cape to get Thai fresh spices. Will report back if I ever go back

Diner Review №14

Good food
Have to order online or at the countertop on a computer 🖥️

Diner Review №15

Most authentic Thai food in the area. If I could, I would eat there everyday!

Diner Review №16

Walked in with my boyfriend, and my service dog, was treated exceptionally, food was delicious, bubble tea was great and the atmosphere was perfect for me to study and get some class work done 10/10

Diner Review №17

incredible red curry, did not get cheap with the shrimp either. 10 shrimp in a normal order. incredible noodles. we are originally from Chicago, there's tons of great thai food there, but this might be some of the best we've ever had

Diner Review №18

First time coming here. I was a little disappointed and here's why. We ordered the pho, spring rolls, and pineapple fried rice. First the pho. The taste wasn't bad and my 8 yr old ate it well. Not happy that it came in a paper bowl even when we chose dine-in at the kiosk. I can live with that. The spring rolls weren't bad and were a pretty good size. The only issue was the hoisin sauce. It was very salty. Most places mix a tiny bit of peanut butter in it and it would've helped. The pineapple fried rice is where I had the biggest issue. I've never had a pineapple fried rice that used can pineapple. Kind of kills it. Also it had only eggs and green onions. Most places have a little carrot and sometimes peas. Shrimp is an extra 3 bucks and turned the dish into a $14.75 fried rice. Worse part is that the shrimp still had the tails on it. So I had to pick and peel them. I may try this place again but I hope they address the issues. Good luck to this place as the owner/chef seems like a nice guy.

Diner Review №19

Loved this place. Food is what I dream of. Miss being out of town and not getting to eat their on a regular basis

Diner Review №20

Omg, u qotta wait more than 1 hour for one single dish, why can't u just hire more staff...this is the first time that I have to wait more than 1 hour in a restaurant, very worst service!

Diner Review №21

Did know that this place was here...
The food was good, and the spring rolls are recommended...

Diner Review №22

I used to always get the chicken Pad Thai and it was always amazing. Great little place with amazing food

Diner Review №24

A long overdue review, Cafe N' Me is my family's favorite restaurant in Cape Girardeau! extremely affordable, and exceptional flavor. I recommend the pineapple fried rice! The Pad Thai is also great. Cheaper and better than Saffron. Not to mention their tasty boba drinks are like half the price of the other places in Cape. My only caution is to make sure to order online beforehand and schedule your pick up or dine in time, as if you order on the spot you will be waiting a while. If you do decide to order on the spot and wait, it will still be worth it! Best Thai food I've found in Missouri.

Diner Review №25

I've never been inside this place but my partner brings home takeout from here and it's always so good. The curry puffs are a must try-the pastry, the filling, the dipping sauce all equals perfection! We usually get the pineapple and cashew fried rice and it's so good y'all. Please check this place out if you have a chance!

Diner Review №26

I can’t get enough of this place, if you ever don’t feel good get the Chicken and rice soup

Diner Review №27

Wife & I dined in. If you like paying $35 for 2 plates of ramen with some veggies & canned chicken or shrimp, this is the place for you. The next 24 hours took several trips to the bathroom. :( Horrible!

Diner Review №28

Good pad Thai tastes nothing like what they have. Their dumplings are ok at best.

Diner Review №29

Food and service was great

Diner Review №30

The pad Thai is delicious, the appetizers are always awesome… I’ve never seen anyone get anything from here and it be a miss. Honestly, I think the best thing about Cafe & Me May be their appetizers! If you’ve never tried the chicken on a bed, you need to!

Diner Review №31

Very high tech place. Food is good. Prices are phenomenal. Good for a quick Thai eat when you get the urge.

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

Diner Review №34

Authentic Thai food without having to travel 2 hours to St. Louis for it. Very high tech contactless ordering!

Diner Review №35

Love the curry puffs.

Diner Review №36

Diner Review №37

Food was good, slow in getting to the table, but fresh, so leave time. Parking lot is not striped and neighboring business threaten to tow if you park in allignment to cars in front of you. So there is that... Pizza envey I guess! ;)

Diner Review №38

Expensive for one meal, but really worth it! I enjoyed my tofu sweet basil dish and curry puffs with the best dipping sauce. Gentleman at the counter was very nice. Small place, but you go here for the food not romantic ambience. It's take out right now because of shortage of staff.

Thai tea is so good 🧋

Diner Review №45

Tasty!!

Diner Review №46

Great place to eat! A lovely first experience with Thai food. Very clean, our waitress was very kind and attentive and provided helpful suggestions on our meal choices. Contemporary pop music was played at a low volume with lots of ambient light.
Our food was delicious! There was not a thing on my plate that did not taste amazing! They also have bubble tea which I definitely want to try on my next visit! Also very affordable!

We bought 3 pho soups to go. Ate 2 of them for dinner, and when we opened up the last one for supper later on, there was a small cockroach swimming around in it. We know all three soups were made together because we waited 45 mins to pick it up and assumed it was a fresh pot of pho, frikken delicious too, but the cockroach was such a kill.

Diner Review №52

Must try Thai restaurant in Cape! Personal favorite - Panang Curry with Thai Hot spice level! 🔥🔥🔥

Diner Review №53

First time, very good.

Diner Review №54

Consistently good. When they have boba tea it is excellent.

Diner Review №57

What this place lacks in ambiance it make up for in food. I LOVE THIS FOOD. Everything I've had is so good.
This is my favorite place in Cape.

Diner Review №58

Diner Review №59

Food was ok but I will go back again to try it again.

Diner Review №60

I liked the simplicity and value for money.
Decent food I ate tom yum chicken noodle was expecting it to be soupy but it was dry.
The taste was good.

Diner Review №61

I ordered the garlic pepper tofu. The portion was very small and expensive for what it was. Good flavors but it was way too salty.

Diner Review №62

Diner Review №63

Pretty damn good. The spring roll greens to shrimp ratio was a little off. The lettuce of choice kinda killed the flavor.

Diner Review №64

My favorite restaurant in cape. The Thai is so good as well as their bubble tea. They have so many options and if I could survive on their curry puffs I would.

Diner Review №65

Very good AUTHENTIC Thai food (yes, we've been there, we know). I had the pad see euw, it was wonderful. My wife had the coconut curry. Service was good. I highly recommend this restaurant

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

Nice service, although quite a slow evening, the food was average for Thai. Reviews are biased, and mine is no different, having had Thai food in Asia.

I ordered Pad Thai and spring rolls, neither had herbs. The spring rolls were 70% shredded wet iceburg lettuce with a sliver of shrimp and some sprouts inside. The peanut sauce was delicious!

The chicken Pad Thai was nice, but lacked something. The chicken tasted boiled and bland, but the sauce was tasty.

Overall, will try again and update my review if it was just a bad night.

Diner Review №68

Diner Review №69

The only legit place to get thai from. Unfortunately the spices are super tame, but I think it's primarily to appeal to the locals.

Diner Review №70

Amazingly good!!! Everything I’ve tried is delicious!!

Diner Review №71

Food is always delicious. The bubble tea was great. But unfortunately service was at a snail's pace. Only one waitress and 2 kitchen staff for a busy wednesday lunch hour. We arrived around 11:45 and were receiving our food at 12:45. Don't go if you're in a rush or think to order ahead to have your meal ready.

Diner Review №72

This is my favorite restaurant in Cape Girardeau. The Pad Thai is beyond amazing I would definitely recommend 👌

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

My bible study group of six came in Thursday night and though it got pretty busy and we had to wait a few minutes for refills, the server quickly and professionally handled the sudden rush of people. The moment she was free, she refilled all our drinks without having to ask what we each had, and gave us prompt service for the rest of our visit.

The food is always delicious and I love the simple atmosphere. There are lots of options for bubble and they always do a fantastic job. Cafe N Me is definitely a favorite of mine!

Diner Review №75

Went in to have lunch and ordered sweet tea, the waitres brought my wife unsweet and didnt say anything.
We asked to change it to something else, so I had to go to the counter and wait for a coffee to be made. It was not terrible service, but not great.

Then the waitress brought someone elses food to our table when we were the 1st order she had that went in. Noone else was in the building when we ordered.

Diner Review №76

Homey mom and pop Thai restaurant with typical Thai fare, along with some inventive touches. I particularly like the spring rolls, served with a lettuce or cabbage sheaf, and the fried salmon with ginger. Very tasty!

The servers are also incredibly kind and attentive. Between the good food and the wonderful service, you will have a very pleasant dining experience!

Love, love this place! I go for the Tonkatsu and Jasmine fried rice. Lots of good things on the menu. Cafe & Me has a very nice, casual, relaxed environment. It feels very welcoming. They offer a wide variety of teas and other drinks.

Diner Review №92

This was our first time here! We came here to celebrate a birthday. I ordered Pad Thai and it was even better than I expected. I also ordered Veitnamese coffee. It was a little sweet for my taste, I couldn't taste much coffee. But overall, pretty good.

Diner Review №97

Went here with the family. The food was amazing! The bubble tea and slushies are A1.Great fast friendly service. Every dish was incredible, but the pad thai really needs some work. Whole family agrees, but we all love this place.

Diner Review №100

I ordered the chicken Pad Thai. I asked for a heat scale of 3. It was more like a six. I couldn’t eat it without coughing. My sister told the server and he said that it was too late now. She told him that I wasn’t able to eat it. He had the cook make me another order but without any heat. He kept shaking his head with disapproval as he took my plate away. The food was ok but the service was poor. I won’t be returning.

Diner Review №102

Tasty Thai food place

Diner Review №103

Service was friendly. Food was very bland (no spice) - there was no curry or spice on the pineapple fried rice, and the chicken pieces which were tossed with it were steamed/boiled but had no seasoning.

Stopped in just as they opened so there was plenty of seating. The decor is pretty plain. Service was speedy. I had the Tofu Pad Thai and was pretty disappointed. Literally no heat at all but the taste of fish sauce was pretty overpowering. The pina colada bubble tea is delicious! I'd go back again for the bubble tea and would try something different from the menu.

Diner Review №174

Diner Review №175

I orded the Thai Tea which was very good, and the Phõ... The Phõ was not very tasteful and didn't have much flavor, if you want good Phõ go to Phõ 8 bistro. I plan on giving this place another try though.

Diner Review №176

Great food and service. Almost authentic!

Diner Review №177

Diner Review №178

Diner Review №179

Fantastic Thai food! Can't find anything like it around! Great portions! Can get multiple meals out of the plates! My "treat yourself" place! Only thing to watch out for is the odd hours! Check before you go!

Diner Review №180

It's not super attractive looking inside, but it's clean. They do To-go orders. I ordered the shrimp Pad Thai and the chicken pad thai. The taste was pretty good, but more bland than I'm use to. They also don't have a spicy scale to choose from on the pad Thai (which I've become accustomed to at different Thai restaurants). So my pad Thai was extremely mild. The food is very very amercianized. Still taste good. But just be aware this isn't the place for someone who adores authentic thai. This is a great place for squeamish Americans to get a taste of Thai food without venturing too far out of their comfort zone.

Diner Review №181

Love it! I get Chicken Pad Thai every time.

Diner Review №182

Diner Review №183

Diner Review №184

Diner Review №185

The food is pretty good. The prices are ok. The owner is pretty bad at providing good service. One time we went there 20min before they closed and he told us that we should wrap it up soon. Whereas this last time they had hired a waitress and she did a great job. So it just depends on who is there. But the Pad Thai is awesome.

Diner Review №186

Stopped by wanting something other than fast food. Located in a stripmall, it looks pretty bland but don't let that fool you! Has curry puffs and hot Thai spiced tea which were delicious. Also ordered the chicken wings which my husband swore were then eat he'd ever had. Everything was served piping hot and freshly made. Service was a bit slow but the food offset that minor downside. Very good!

Diner Review №187

This place is awesome been eating here for a few years now and they have yet to disappoint.

Diner Review №188

Diner Review №189

I ate there twice. The first time I liked it, everything was good. The second time I ordered the very same thing but it tasted strange and worse - it smelled like wet dog. I am afraid to even try Thai food again. Will definitely NEVER eat there again.

Diner Review №190

They have great pho and the staff is super friendly. Quiet atmosphere and I've never had a bad dish.

Diner Review №195

Diner Review №196

One of my top 10 choices in the Cape Jackson area. The food is always fresh, the atmosphere is friendly and open, and the service is top notch. Now for the real reason you're looking at these reviews... The food. I've yet to find anything I haven't loved. Some things can be a bit spicy, but it's Thai. The pineapple fried rice and Tom yum noodles are a great place to start.
