Thai Street Market serves delicious Thai food in a clean dining area with friendly service.
A hidden gem. One star off because I ordered chicken & glass noodles and it had very little flavore and I could taste shrimp.
But everything else was excellent. The servings are 2 meals & the service was also excellent.
I often go to the thrift store next door and park near this restaurant, today I decided to check it out and I wish I'd done so years ago.
YUM! My food tasted so good! It was super fresh and had great flavor! Nice and spicy! Loved it! My friends all said it was super good too! The inside was nice and colorful and really I got my food pretty dang fast. No complaints from any front really. I got mango sticky rice too and it was bomb. So was the gyoza which was nice and crispy. I would recommend if you want some fresh good Thai food. Pretty good price point for all that food I think the check was like 24 each person for a decent amount of food so π
The mango sticky rice was... fine, I guess. It didnβt exactly sing with freshness like other places, where the flavors practically do a tango on your taste buds. This one felt more like a hesitant two-step. And donβt get me started on the portion sizeβit was so modest, I half-wondered if they were rationing it for a mango shortage. A decent attempt, but letβs just say my stomach and I left feeling a little underwhelmed.
Went because it was the only Thai place open on the 4th of July. Could not have had a better celebration meal. Despite being empty, it was instantly a warm, welcoming place. We were given ample time with check-ins to decide on orders. I chose the drunken noodles and they were perfect. Brought out hot, but still cool enough to eat right away. The portions were massive enough to bring some home, even without eating any breakfast before! Finished off with absolutely delectable mango sticky rice. My friends and I split the check evenly and definitely got our moneyβs worth. Very kind employee and nice seating. Iβll be coming back when Iβm in the area!
What a gem!!! Itβs smells so good when you walk in! Everything we got was phenomenal. Cream cheese wantons and peanut curry were to die for. They made the spring rolls fresh. Afterwards, I dreamt of the Thai tea all night. Great service. I will be frequently dining here!
It was not busy when we went. Waiter was friendly. Food came fast. Pad Thai was flavorful & just like how pad Thai should taste. I also ordered the steak & noodles and it was delicious too! Not too sour, not sweet but perfect blend of flavors. My husband ordered Papaya salad and pineapple sticky rice and that was very good! Papaya salad is Thai style so very refreshingly and clear (not dark like Lao style papaya salad).

The food is amazing! If you haven't had Thai food or haven't had it in a while, it's worth checking out.
Also, we had a mix-up with our takeout, and the owner not only made us what we ordered but also made us their cream cheese wonton as an apology for free.
Owner is kind, considerate and hard working.
Never disappoints the soul! Such amazing food, service, and atmosphere! Would recommend 100% !
First time in today - we chose because of location. Glad we did. Masaman curry deeply flavored at medium heat - next time will go up a pepper, but we want flavor, not just heat. Best Masaman I've had in years. Ordered red curry to take home.
Dining partner never wants spice, and gobbled her chicken pad thai - ordered a second one to take home and a Masaman w/tofu.
Clean, plain comfortable dining room. Service was quick and calm. We're from Elsewhere but will be back in a few months and will certainly eat here again.
Too many meals here to count. Great service, at least with takeout. Each item has a little twist that gives this place it's own flair.
Authentic Thai food! Great service! Pleasing atmosphere! I recommend this place to anyone who wants authentic Thai dishes! The owner is very warm and welcoming!
Always amazing!
Great food and service
We've eaten here (and gotten takeout) numerous times over the years. We love it! We got Phra Ram Bam, Massaman Curry, fresh spring rolls and the iced Thai coffee most recently. Everything was delicious -- as usual!
Service and parking were wonderful!!
This is a recommended restaurant. The food here is delicious and good. The food is served quickly.

Located on the strip mall by Lapenteur and Rice, this restaurant does look like a mom and pop Thai restaurant. The menu looks outdated but certainly offers plenty to choose from. We ordered Phad Thai, Panang Curry. The price (including the selected protein) is pretty much a market standard u til the plates were served. The portions are humongous enough to last 3 meals I kid you not. Will come again for real.

The whole experience was awesome! We had done take out before but this time we dined in! The cream cheese wonton appetizers were amazing! The green curry and massaman curry were delicious! We'll definitely be going back!
Got food poisoning, would not recommend. Felt really sick afterwards.
I got bad stomach cramps an hour after I ate, would not recommend.
Three of us got food poisoning. Bad environment, terrible food! I would give zero stars if I could.
I really love to sea food pho that was handed to me. I definitely will come back here again to try out different things in the future!
Staff is friendly and food was good, I had the appetizers and nice and crunchy.
Oh my God.. where do I even start? This is it. This is the pinnacle. It doesn't get better than this place. The service is perfect. The waiter is so damn nice. The food. I could write an entire book describing the beautiful quality of it. I love this place so much. If there was ever a zombie apocalypse, this is where I would hide. If WW3 started, this would be my bunker. This place is absolutely blemish free, I love it. Eat here.
Our favorite Thai restaurant, They even have our favorite northern Thai dish, Khao soi.
Great appetizers
The food is very authentic delicious, and clean.
Honestly, this place is too good for Rice Street lol. It's a nice chill place to get Thai food and it's always cooked perfectly. I've only ever seen one person working there but it's never busy. He is polite and always gets your food quickly.
Friendly staff and a calm atmosphere. My favorite Thai green Curry! Get the cream cheese puffs.
Amazingly delicious drunken rice and pineapple chicken. There was an eggshell fragment in the rice, but the food was so good it still gets 5 stars!
I was really excited to try a new Thai place near us. We got the fried rice, peanut curry, panang curry and two appetizers. The fried rice was not fried at all, had a red/pink color and an interesting flavor. The peanut curry had no flavor to it and overcooked bell peppers. The chicken in the dishes was fine and the panang was ok. We ended up tossing all of the fried rice. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back. Our meal cost nearly $80.
We ordered the chicken laab, chicken drunken noodles, papaya salad and pad kra prao with crispy pork. Everything came out fast and super fresh. Portion size was good and pricing was also decent. My only critique is the food was a tad too sweet, but it was complimented with other flavors as well. Servers were super attentive and friendly.
Good food, fair prices, clean facilities, and friendly staff.
I am so glad to have this gem right down the block from me. The food is always fast and fresh whether dining in or taking out! Love the glass noodle salad for something light & the pineapple fried rice for some comfort food. I also love stopping in just for a Thai tea or ginger-limeade.
Lovely little Thai street market. I come here all the time. Havenβt had a bad dish yet. You actually get a lot of meat and the sauces are the best. I love the ginger iced tea too. Service is great, and I kind of love the music they have on repeat.
On that Pineapple Curry grind. It's worth edging here.
Very delicious food
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICEβ¦MESSED UP MY ORDER AND STILL TRIED TO CHARGE ME HALF FOR TASTING THE FOOD! HAIR WAS IN FOOD ADDED INGREDIENTS THAT DIDNT COME IN THE MARKET VEGETABLES..VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I SPEND LOTS OF MONEY AT THIS SPOT TO BE TREATED THIS WAY! VERY DISAPPOINTING!
I love this restaurant! This is the only Thai restaurant I go to and have recommended their food to my family who are now lovers of their food also. I recommend trying their Drunken Rice, Pad Thai, and Tom Yum soup (with broccoli). Sooo good!!
Love the food especially the pad seaw. The chicken wings are also pretty good. So delicious! All their dishes are pretty satisfying! Customer service was great! Staff are friendly. The only issue I notice is that the place is a bit small for larger parties.
Stopped by today for a quick bite after thtifting. Lots of takeout, we were the only dine in. Excellent service, food came quickly and was fresh. Best spring rolls ever!! I don't like when they're overly minty and these weren't. Great flavor to the meat, just loved them. Green curry also was excellent. Good flavor, nice spice. My new fav in St. Paul. My husband had pad thai and he really enjoyed it. Egg rolls were kinda bleh but overall I'm going here next time I crave it.
Excellent Thai food! I recommend the Red curry, stir fry, spring rolls, cream cheese puffs!
Service is excellent
Best Thai food I've had in the Twin Cities! Yellow curry with tofu is :chefs_kiss
I love Thai food. It is my absolute favorite. I have tried every Thai place in Minneapolis (that is available on Uber eats) and Thai Street Market is the best, itβs not even close.
I eat there every couple of months. Today I just stopped in for some take out. Brought my co-worker with. He loved his fried rice with dumplings, I just had the spring rolls.
Wonderful food
The food is sooo good and the owner and his family are wonderful!
Absolutely delicious! Some Asian restaurants have dishes that ask kind of taste the same, but not here. Each dish we ordered was distinct from the others, and they all tasted really good. The service was great, too. We'll definitely be coming here again!
Pleasant experience. The lemongrass seafood salad as well as the beef peanut curry were spot on. I'll definitely be back.
Calming spot for Thai food nearing 20 per person. You can ask for no spice, but level 2 spice gives an enjoyable kick to your food while still having flavor
Can find cheaper better good Thai food somewhere else in twin city. Won't be coming back. We ordered alot n spent 100+. Food was ok. Didn't really like it. Nothing struck out as great.
Very small dining area.
This is a great find. Highly recommended.
Best food in town!! Anything on the menu is great- never fails. The staff and owner are very accommodating and always awesome.
Always on point!
Very good. Very fresh. Worth the money. Much better than your normal Chinese takeout.
Delicious. Perfect service. Well priced.
Delicious.
The cream cheese wontons were the best I've ever had, it is shocking how many restaurants can mess up a CC wonton. The curry was also amazing. The chicken was perfect!
I enjoyed the shrimp ginger stir fry! Service was excellent. My date had the drunken fried rice (gluten free!) And my picky 6 year old lived the pork and sticky rice. Thank you for a great date night!
Really good food nice comfortable atmosphere not too busy take out is always going out the door better to sit and enjoy the comfortable booths
The BEST Thai restaurant in St Paul! I love their Tom Ka Soup and Khao Soi!
I remembered the food used to be good, this time around it was really bland tasting. I ordered the Tom Yum soup and it was watery, the Pad Kra Prao was sliced meat not grounded, the chicken laab was watery for some reason, but the tofu pad thai was good.
Ordered thru Door Dash many times, whoever is on the grill tonite β¨οΈβ¨οΈβ¨οΈβ¨οΈ 10/20/22
Their red and green curry are as good or better than anything you'll find in the Twin Cities for a great price. Both red and green curry are both Keto friendly, which is pretty hard to find when it comes to eating out. Quick and friendly service.
A very nice local owned restaurant. Had both dine in lunch and takeout supper. Love the green curry most.
This is one of my favorite local restaurants. I go here frequently and have always had incredible food. I highly recommend the drunken fried rice!
Great curry and satay.
Good place to eat
Great food and fun employees. Reasonably priced and not too busy.
Our favorite Thai place!
This place is so so good. The pineapple fried rice is my favorite!
Food is fantastic! Clean atmosphere. Friendly service.
Yellow curry was great!
Amazing everything
We started with fried dumplings, delicious! Then had the drunken noodles which were fantastic, my brother had pork pad Thai which was also fabulous. Will definitely go here again and recipe to others
Thai Street Market makes wonderfully flavorful dishes. Everything I've had has been amazing and I hope to continue eating from here for many years to come.
Great spot with incredibly huge portions. Excellent service, tasty dishes, one of the better Thai places in msp
My hopes were high for this resteraunt. It had the highest ratings for local Thai food.
Upon entering it seemed a very small dining area, and completely empty. I spent a few hours here to give it a fair assessment.
The lady working the counter is very good. For some reason she was alone, answering the phone, handling diners, takeout, Doordash, Uber eats, etc. I was getting stressed watching her. Other diners came in, and no one got the follow up they should have had.
I ordered the chicken satay, massaman curry with beef, peanut curry with pork, and pad see eew with beef. All these dishes were well presented and tasty.
I had my usual iced thai coffee. Very good.
For dessert I had to flag down the front lady. She had already given me my bill and never asked if I wanted another beverage or dessert. I attribute this to her being alone, which should never happen in any resteraunt which hopes to stay above water. I hope today was an anomaly.
The sticky rice with mango was not eatable. The glob or rice had eliminated too much, possibly was made several days ago. The coconut milk nearly absent. The mango was over ripe and stringy. Possibly the worst dessert I have had in a Thai resteraunt.
The resteraunt was reasonably clean, though detail cleaning is needed next to the booths above the wainscotting. The table tops were very sticky. The bathroom was clean and well stocked, but very crowded feeling (I was alone, I refer to the floorplan).
Thai Street Market 3/5
The food was great.
Thai Street Market has done it again for me!!! I ordered through Door Dash. Not only are their soups amazing! But their rice dishes are amazing too! Right now I'm eating the Drunken Fried Rice(spicy) with shrimp. Nice big pieces of shrimp throughout the rice(my greedy behind picked all the shrimp out first) but from this one pic you can see that they are not rinky dink sized shrimp that they use in their food. Looks like all the soups come with white rice so you can make it a full meal. I got the Tom-Tom soup tonight with shrimp. Delicious! Their servings are enough to eat some now and have leftovers or share(again I'm greedy so I will be taking one for the team and eating it all by myself today and tomorrow). My other favorite soup is the curry. Eat it with rice...so good! Thai Street you have my blessingπ
The lady at the front desk was really nice I ordered some shrimp fried rice when I got home to eat it it tasted like someone boiled shrimp with ketchup and used the water as the broth to make the fried rice it was not good and it was almost 15 dollars I feel like I got riped off shouldn't never gotten it
Awesome customer service! My family loves the food here.
The staff were wonderful. Food was not that good at all. Egg rolls were good. Pad thai was full of added sugar. It didn't taste like any pad thai I've ever had before, and the peanuts were very stale. I would not recommend it. My dish had added sugar also. We won't be back.
Had have several dishes. The curry's are terrific, drunken fried rice. LOVE the mango and sticky rice for dessert. I usually order on Door Dash and it is so fast. Happy to have this place nearby!!
I absolutely LOVE this place!! I get food from them all the time. They have a really easy process for delivery or pickup through door dash, but also it's a cute and casual place to dine in.
Their massaman coconut curry dish is amazing, and their pineapple fried rice is easily my favorite fried rice in the twin cities. The best specialty thing on their menu is the Lychee-Ginger Limeade, which I have never found at any other restaurant (and part of what keeps me coming back so often!). This is my favorite local restaurant, I honestly can't recommend it enough.
Cheese puffs were amazing
Pad see ew had way too much fish sauce - couldn't eat it.
Curry had some good flavor but needed spice
Pork and chicken skewers were very tasty
Their fried rice is AMAZING!!!! even the kids meal portion they give you a lot! It's so fresh it's not all clumped together they use real fresh chicken. It's soooo good!!
Ordered takeout; pad Thai and panang curry, with an appetizer platter. Pad Thai was good but lacked adequate bean sprouts/veg., and the panache curry was basically protein and sauce with no veg. Egg rolls were good but spring rolls were nothing but shredded cabbage in rice paper. Disappointing.
Every item has been phenomenal. My biggest regret in life is not finding this restaurant sooner.
I've lived in the area for a few years and am just now trying this place. Food was great. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. The Thai tea is amazing!!! Definitely would recommend. I'm sad I didn't try it sooner!!!
Great service. Wonderful flavor. Atmosphere was very calm and inviting.
Have tried several curries and starters from this restaurant, and it hasnβt let me down at all. Excellent food and the service is wonderful.
I have never been disappointed with the food from this place. The food is so good and service is always amazing. I have been going to this place since last year. I live in Bloomington area but I try to go to St Paul just for this place. Highly recommend this gem of a Thai place.
I eat here today because I want Thailand food. But the food here not from Thailand, it more for American flavor. I am asian so they treat me differrent here, but they very nice to white people. I try to be nice to help asian food place but I will not go back to this place anymore.
Fantastic food, especially the fried rice and green curry.
Great food and atmosphere. Server was really nice
Theyβre food is absolutely delicious, and you get a large portion for the amount you pay.
Very good Thai food. One of the best in the twin cities. I usually get the drunken noodles and Thai tea.
My favorite place to eat and take out and love the service and next door to my job at the North End Laundry
I love this place the pad Thai is too die for. The service is always super fast and delicious. The food tastes like home cooking and would recommend to everyone. The prices and portions are amazing.
Didn't realize how close to home this gem is.
Drunken fried rice is amazing as well as the lychee-gingwr lemonade. Highly recommend
Love the food here. The service is fast and the food was delicious. I haven't ordered take out, but they had a stream of people picking up food. there was even someone picking up that was on the phone telling their friend how good the food was and how often they order take out. Definitely try it if you like Thai food.
Delicious Thai Food! Fast and friendly service!
The Tom Kha soup with tofu is TO DIE FOR!!! So flavorful and comforting. Obviously the mango sticky rice is just phenomenal, so sweet and refreshing! Iβm so happy to have found this little gem of a restaurant.
Delicious dishes! My son accidentally dropped an appetizer and the staff brought an extra for him without being asked. Very thoughtful and much appreciated!
Best Thai hands down. Iβve eaten here way to many times!! My girlfriend ALWAYS gets something new. Never is she disappointed. This place is well worth going too. Hidden gem! Great service!
excellent food and service!
Food is amazing with really good flavor
hands down best thai spot in st paul.
This is the best Thai weβve had in St Paul. Great food and service
This is the best Thai Restaurant I've ever been to. I'm getting married this summer and these guys were our first choice for catering, not just because the food is insanely good, but the staff are so helpful! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!
This place is by far my favorite restaurant in the state. The customer service is always above and beyond and food is AMAZING.
Always Great food and service
This modest little strip mall in St. Paul is a hidden gem! We stopped in on a trip to Wisconsin for lunch. There was only one other customer there and as we were discussing the menu he spoke up to say how delicious his dish was, βI donβt know what I have here, a curry something, but itβs incredibly good!β With that input, we placed our order, including some appetizers. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. I ordered the basil stir-fry with pork. The pork was outstanding - probably marinated - accompanied by a savory mix of spiced vegetables and a sauce that was so delicious I wanted to lick the plate!
Food was great and staff friendly and helpful.
Best Green Curry I've Had. Please Try It.
Best Thai food since I was in Thailand! Super fresh ingredients. Super tasty. Great service and even better price. This place is going to become a regular visit for us.
Great Thai thatβs full of flavor and not greasy
Pleasantly surprised. Ordered Pad si ew and Green curry both with shrimp and delicious. I was surprised cause it is a little quaint place that I drive by all the time and didn't expect it to be this good.
Simple recipes done really well. I do wish the pad Thai had more flare and variety mixed in but dang it's spot on with the flavor! Amazing curry. Great service.
Outstanding
Fantastic food for reasonable price.
Ordered takeout & when we got home the soup was still really warm & so good! My husband also loved their satay chicken!
Great family place with excellent food. They have been my go-to for all of the lockdowns and so glad they are in the neighborhood. Easy pick-up at the door!
I wanted to like this place.
The Pad Thai tastes like clumpy overcooked noodles in greasy sweet ketchup sauce with a little Thai chili sauce thrown in. No flavors of peanut, lime, or cilantro.
We went with my children they were very happy with the portions and the food was very good, I give them a 9 out of a 10
Moved to area half a year ago and have been on the hunt for good Thai - we finally have our go-to spot! Delicious!
the best
Disappointed that google reviews was at a 4.6 star, my family and I have had better Thai food. Food was not seasoned well, beef and chicken was dry and rough to chew. I got the tiger beef and my husband got the chicken satay. The only good thing was the pineapple fried rice. Did not contact the restaurant since there was no point, threw the leftovers in the trash.
The massaman curry & Thai coffee r so good
Went there today and was very impressed with their food. I ordered the Massaman curry while my boyfriend ordered the Phad Sii Eew. We also ordered the cream cheese puffs. Everything was super delicious and the ambience was super relaxing. Please support this business especially during these times. I will definitely come back π
One of the best Thai places in the cities, with exceptional prices. The drunken fried rice is phenomenal!
π€¦π»ββοΈ- we just had your food for the first time tonight. That was so good. Thank you!!!
Tonight was my first time ordering from here. The person at the cash register was very friendly and actually even threw in a few extras because it was the end of the night! I ordered the masaman curry and it was delicious!
Food is great
The server was very friendly, had good recommendations and accommodated our gluten intolerant party member with patience. Service was fast and attentive. Food was fantastic. Will go again.
My husband and I ordered from Thai Street Market. The Shrimp Pad Thai I received was sweet in taste which took away from the flavor of the dish. When I contacted them, I was informed that sugar was added to americaize the dish. That was the first time I have ever had a Thai dish that had sugar. My husband had a different dish and his was salty. We were disappointed.
Each of the 6 dishes I have tried have been flavorful and all around delicious. My favorite so far is the panang curry. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Really kind owners, and great food! Would recommend.
Got a pork spring roll with no pork in it (?). The Pad Thai tasted great & there was enough for 2 servings but only 6 shrimp total. It was mostly noodles. Will likely give them another try due to the high reviews but the first experience was ππΌ.
Definitely our new favorite go to for Thai in our area. They offer a great selection and easy online ordering. Would highly recommend the peanut curry. My husband ended up eating half of mine and he isn't a huge curry fan. Can't wait to come back and try the other curries and some of the appetizers.
Absolutely fantastic food! We order from them all the time and they really are delicious!!!!!
We ordered rice every Sunday for our shop at work and was something we all really looked forward too. Now they will only deliver through their restaurant and were outside of their delivery zone. Super disappointing they stopped.
12/09/2020 update: Due to COVID-19, no dine-in service. They'll take walk-in orders.
Original post: OMG this is a hidden gem! Come here if you can't get into On's. You won't regret it.
Ordered Drunken Noodles, it was great
I was rather disappointed considering all of the good reviews on this place I was thinking I was sure to get some fantastic Thai food but I was wrong. The shrimp green curry was flavorless and the peppers in it overcooked and mushy, the steamed rice was gummy and not jasmine rice like most other Thai places I love. The spring rolls were all lettuces and some shredded carrots with ground pork and didnβt have any of the sliced roasted pork, shrimp and Thai basil like you would expect with a fresh spring roll. The sauce that came with them was delicious though. We ordered the egg rolls too and those were super delicious and thatβs why Iβm giving this place 3 instead of 1 star. The drunken fried rice was decent too. Just wish this placed lived up to the online reviews because my delivery was nice an quick...oh well.
