Fresh and delicious! Highly recommend if you want great Thai food in Minneapolis!
The medium spice level was quite spicy for my Minnesota pallet ;) My only complaint is that it was too spicy for me to finish. We did takeout, the order was completed quickly and still hot when I picked it up!

Diner Review №2

UPDATE 1/10/25: They have added Tofu and Shrimp back on the menu. Four stars for now until I'm sure they won't take it away again!

I've been ordering from here for a few months. Went to order online and noticed that they no longer offer the only protein options I eat: Tofu and Shrimp. Crossing it off my list since I won't be able to have a satisfying meal from here. Total bummer since I would like to support a local indie restaurant.

Diner Review №3

The cream cheese rolls were absolutely delicious! I ordered the mild Panang curry, but it ended up being extremely spicy for me (and I have a higher heat tolerance)—perhaps there was a mix-up with the spice level when I ordered online. That said, the flavors were fantastic! I also appreciated that they included two boxes of rice, which really helped balance out the heat. Very nice environment to walk into with kind employees.

Diner Review №4

Everything was amazing! Should have taken more pictures. Spring rolls, gyoza, pork egg rolls all really great to start.
Tom Kha soup was delicious! (Pictured) Pineapple curry, Rama curry, and basil stir fry were all fantastic! Everything perfectly seasoned, hot temperature, good spice you can select too. The gentleman helping was very sweet. I can’t wait to return!

Diner Review №5

Food was great! Asked for a little more spice and definitely hits the spot! Most of the time when you ask for more spice at different restaurants it barely changes the flavor but this one was good. Pad See Yew was delicious!

Diner Review №6

We consider this place the best Thai restaurant in the Twin Cities!
Their curries, pad thai, cream cheese wontons - everything is delicious!

Diner Review №7

Won't bother going back. Much better out there. One bottle of soy sauce for the whole restaurant. Food had no flavor and no spice.

Diner Review №8

Diner Review №9

This is our favorite Thai in the metro area. We’ve tried many dishes, and all are delicious. Our favorites are the panang curry and pad prik khing - we are plant based and love the tofu and mock duck options!

Diner Review №10

Got takeout from here and it was delicious! Awesome tofu Pad Thai.

Diner Review №12

An absolutely gorgeous little restaurant that smells good as soon as you walk in the door. The gentleman serving us was considerate, fast, and kind. Honestly some of the best Thai food I've had in Minneapolis and with the reasonable pricing and excellent service it's hard to beat.

We had Pad See Ew, Papaya salad, Drunken Noodles. Also the Thai iced tea and a mango juice. Mild is Minnesotan appropriate (very low spice at no cost to flavor) and the medium builds slowly over the meal.

Diner Review №13

Food was fresh and out of this world good. Resturant was really clean. Try the Thai drinks as well.

Diner Review №14

I didn’t like the basil fried rice. Tastes like they mixed the rice together with plain oil. Shrimp was about 4-5, not worth $16.90 in my opinion. Won’t be coming back sorry.

Could have made a better dinner at home if I had the strength.

Diner Review №15

We came here on a Tuesday night. The food was good. I had the nam khao 😊

Diner Review №16

I have ordered delivery from here twice. Both times have been absolutely excellent! The Pad Thai was so good and spicy!

Diner Review №17

Wonderful service and amazing food. This place focuses on quality ingredients and an expressive and adventurous flavor profile. Couldn’t have enjoyed more. Highly recommend.

Got this delivered and was blown away by how poor it was. Got curry with almost no curry sauce half the veggies weren't even covered. I spent more than usual because I love trying thai curry and I feel ripped off. So little food, almost not sauce at all.

Diner Review №24

I had their chicken pad thai delivered and it was very good.

Diner Review №25

My pad thai was tasteless and drier than the Sahara desert on a cold day.

Diner Review №26

Pad Thai to go was absolutely awful: dry noodles stuck together, virtually no vegetables, peanut dust tasted old. Chicken satay so overcooked it was inedible.

Diner Review №27

Great tasting food and large portions. I will definitely be reordering from the place in future.

First time eating here, and I'm happy to say it was an awesome choice. Delicious food for sure and prices are affordable. Sometimes, if you want to eat really good food and have no time to cook, I really invite you to order from here. Order to go eat home or inside. I'll be returning to try different dishes. They have a nice selection. It is in a good location, easy to park, and get in and out really close access to 35W. Try their Rama Curry ..the peanut sauce is delicious. Veggie spring rolls are good too.

Diner Review №31

I ordered drunken noodles with chicken and sticky rice with mango. Both were very good and a reasonable price. The service was also very fast.

Diner Review №32

Wow!!! Ok first, yes I know I didn’t eat it the correct way. Second, I got in my car and wanted to take one bite and then found myself just eating the entire thing in my car. This food was amazing. The flavor of the red curry was out of this world. I had to stop myself to take a picture. Can’t wait to try other options here. Prices were decent.

Diner Review №33

Great service and delicious food!

Diner Review №34

Probably the worst Asian food we’ve ever had. Saturday eve pick up around 6:30 pm. I was expecting everything fresh made to order like otger Thai restaurants we’ve been to. We ordered red curry with beef. Sauce was dry and separated, congealed. Meat was overcooked and flavorless as though it had been boiled tough as leather in water with no other seasoning. We also tried Pad Thai a standard on every Thai menu. The Pas Thai was like it had been cooked three days ago and dried out entirely. The egg was rubbery. Noodles sticky and dry. All the meat was dry and chewy. I would not even feed to my dog. Avoid! Avoid!

Diner Review №35

I really wanted to give this place a try as I am happy to see new Thai places in the neighborhood, however when you order for take out and they tell you 15 minutes and you get there and they ask you for what you ordered because they didn't make it, and then they don't apologize or tell you why they need your order again, it probably is best to steer clear from the place which I should have done. Nevertheless I ordered again and waited a total of 45 minutes for the food, no apology from anyone. I can definitely see why there were only 5 people eating there.

I live 7 minutes away and brought the pad see ew home and it was cold and needed to be microwaved and it was very bland. The drunken noodle we ordered at a medium spice level as my wife likes spice, but she couldn't eat it as it was way too spicy. The spring roll tasted very bland and generic and not at all fresh.

I do not expect a place like this for their management to care about this review whatsoever and that is fine, but in the twin cities there are much better places to get Thai food, and my go to is on Chicago Ave. called BaGu Sushi and Thai. Same price, much nicer people working there and much better food that will take up at least 2 meals. I will pay this elsewhere as this is just not the kind of establishment that cares about bad reviews but people should know what they're getting into. Live and learn

Diner Review №36

Placed my take out order on the phone. It was ready when I arrived, I paid and the woman who waited on me was less than friendly. My masman chicken curry was absolutely delicious. I would go back just for that. My friend loved her mock duck pad tai. But I was extremely disappointed in my spring rolls. All they were was rolled up greens and 2 shrimp. Definitely will never get them again.

Diner Review №37

The Pad Thai was beautiful and delicious!

Diner Review №38

Diner Review №39

Ordered takeout twice and both times the food was very good. Had the curry fried rice, thai basil egg noodle and the egg rolls. I order my entrees "hot" and it comes with great flavor and heat. I will definitely be back!

Diner Review №42

Amazing curry and appetizers. I’ve been about 5 times now and this place never disappoints.

Diner Review №43

Rama curry was super dry, veggies not cooked, chicken was dry and not warm. I wouldn’t be writing this, but because I was still asked to pay full price, I am.
I had about 4 bites and told the server I didn’t want to pay full price. She said she was sorry, offered me panang sauce and handed me the bill for the full price. This has never happened to me, but I can’t not write a review about this experience, wow!

Diner Review №44

Thai pepper has great options - the panang curry was super delicious, very friendly staff, too! Will definitely be coming back!

Diner Review №45

amazing food. I've been looking for good and affordable Thai food since I moved to Minneapolis 2 years ago and this is it. I'll definitely be back.

Diner Review №46

Delicious

Diner Review №47

Diner Review №48

25-30 minute wait for 1 item and an app. Singapore noodle with beef, crispy pork belly. Both really not good. No seasoning at all. Happy to give it a try but lots of better options nearby.

Diner Review №49

This is the first time I’ve had bad Thai in Minneapolis. So sad. I wanted to like this place but I’ve just spent $18 on take out that will end up being fed to the dogs. Very bland, no noticeable sauce on the Pad Woon Sen (glass noodle with veg &chicken) or the chicken. The hostess who handled my take out order was nice and quick, so no complaint about the service.

Diner Review №50

Ups and downs. We really enjoyed our entrees, the Pineapple fried rice and pad prik khing. We were not very happy with the spring rolls (quite bland) and the mango sticky rice (under ripe mango and unappealing green blob of rice goo). Price was decent so we will probably be back for more entrees.

Diner Review №51

The food at Thai pepper is very delicious I love those cream cheese rolls and mango sticky rice.

Diner Review №52

Diner Review №53

Great new addition to the neighborhood. Portions were large and we enjoyed leftovers for lunch the next day. Can't wait to try other things on the menu!

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №55

A must-visit for lovers of authentic Thai cuisine. With an extensive menu of delicious dishes, great service, and affordable prices, it's an excellent value for your money. Highly recommended Papaya Salad (Thai Style)

Diner Review №56

Best Thai Takeout in Minneapolis!

Diner Review №57

Great addition to the neighborhood. I’ve ordered takeout twice have tried the sausage appetizer, pad Thai, pad see ewe, and the drunken noodles. All have been fantastic, noodles cooked perfectly, sausage is good and they put the perfect amount of spice to have a kick but add to the flavor. Service is always fast and friendly as well. I miss Best Steak House, but glad it’s replaced for some good authentic Asian food the neighborhood lacks

Diner Review №58

Really greasy & disappointing. Nothing was good. I’ve never had bad Thai food before.

Diner Review №59

Diner Review №61

The food was served pretty quickly and at decent prices. Don't be afraid to order spice.

Diner Review №64

Service was good. Food, not so much. This tastes like thai food you would find at a mall in Minnesota which is too bad since I feel South Minneapolis can handle something more authentic. Would love to see more authentic dishes with depths of flavor. Curry was one note and the pad thai was quite bland. It sucks having to drive to St Paul for good thai food when this place is blocks from my house. On's kitchen Khao Soi is what I use for comparison.

Diner Review №65

First time coming here. Good food. The flavors were really nice. It was a bit salty to my taste. Overall nice food presentation and taste. There wasn't a lot of staff working and they did their best.

Diner Review №66

The service was fantastic the food was great we'll definitely be back just wish they had bubble tea

Diner Review №67

Overall not a great experience. The food wasn’t great. The chicken had a microwaved type taste and texture. Nothing about it was fresh or frankly delicious. The menu online does not match the menu at the restaurant.

Diner Review №68

Fresh and amazingly flavorful! What a great neighborhood spot

Diner Review №69

Ordered for the first time last night. Food was delicious! So happy South Minneapolis has a Thai restaurant. Will definitely be ordering again, and they deliver! Although, we picked it up. Highly recommended this restaurant.

Diner Review №70

A neighborhood gem! Delicious with generous portions.

Diner Review №71

Just discovered Thai Pepper in my neighborhood. Yum Yum Yum. I'm making it a fav.

Diner Review №72

The Thai basil entrees are excellent!

Loved it! Will return often.

Everything was super tasty. The gyoza was nicely crisped.

Diner Review №78

Excited to have Thai food in the neighborhood. Love the curry and the spice level

Diner Review №79

Kind of expensive but it was delicious

Diner Review №80

So disappointed. Really wanted to like this place and use as go to Friday place. Stir fried basil so dry. Green Beans undercooked. Pork egg rolls wraps undercooked and doughy. Khua Kling stir fry with pork belly was awful. Again green beans undercooked. Pork belly nothing but gristle. Had such high hopes. We won’t go back again. Waste of $45.00.

Diner Review №81

They forgot to give us rice for the stir fry. I’ll remember to double check the next time.

Diner Review №82

Wow this food is amazing! Perfect spice levels and so much flavor!

Diner Review №83

Finally, great Thai in South Mpls. Drunken noodles, pad Thai and green curry were all winners as were the spring rolls.

Diner Review №84

Pretty big disappointment. The Red Curry was very thick and lacked creaminess. We tried two "specials" the seafood pad thai, which was inedible and the pork belly stir fry.
The scallops in our pad thai clearly had turned and there was a very unpleasant fishiness to the whole dish. We tossed it. I called to let them know and was told I would get a refund (at $21.50 I would hope so!). Hasnt happened yet. The "crisp" porkbelly was not so crisp but good - would I call it special? No. Lastly the egg rolls were fine and the spring roll was good. I was really hoping for more... Update: Had to call back to get my refund. Still waiting.
I miss Best Steak House.

The sweet server did her best and I give her all the stars.

The food was the most confusing meal ever.

- Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice: More like curry fried rice.

- Beef Pad See Ew: It was no sweet. Did not serve with sauce on the side. There was a few pieces of beef in it. There was a piece of lettuce used as decoration under the noodles. When i was eating the noodles, i would taste this weird chemical. Smelt the lettuce, that was it.

- Cream Cheese Rolls were small and not worth the price. If the rolls were bigger, it would be worth the price.

- Spring Rolls: more like a stump. I was able to eat a roll with two bites. The size was disappointment. It also tasted like they did not wash their vegetables because i could taste the chemical. The sauce was sweet and sour sauce with peanut on top. Why?

When you buy two app and two entree, you get a free drink. The drink wasnt shareable.

I asked for a side of hot sauce, like siracha. I got chilli oil instead. Im also shocked that they did not have pickled jalapeño.

I do think its quite expensive for a N/A drink they serve. They were also out of Chicken Satay at 4pm on a Monday.

Diner Review №88

Our food was really good! My only feedback is the curry could have had more sauce. It was a bit dry. My husband really liked his pad Thai!

Diner Review №89

Best Thai tea!!!

Diner Review №90

The food was great, gave us free cream-cheese wontons.

Diner Review №91

We did take out so I can’t speak to the dining in service but always disappointed to see people leave negative reviews for wait staff that’s overworked. Have a little empathy! On the food side, we had 3 different types of curries and they were all superb! Will be ordering again.

Tip* we did read the portions were large but our curries could’ve been a one person serving if that person was hungry

Diner Review №93

Good food and delicious 👍

Diner Review №94

So nice to have a great Thai place so close!!! It’s been hard to find good Thai in Minneapolis but this place is definitely one of the best!!

Diner Review №95

I had to do an edit about my second experience here.

Ordered extra tofu for the pad Thai and got none

Received no peanuts with pad Thai
Curry was tossed together and had zero flavor.
Preordered at 5 for pick up at 630 got order at 7, which I understand but people ahead me ordered at 6 and got there order ahead of me.

Cashier was completely overwhelmed and couldn't do his job adequately because of this.

I won't be going back which is a shame because the location was good.

Diner Review №100

Ordered satay w/ peanut sauce. Pad see ew (wide noodles broccolini beef) unfortunately they were out of wide noodles broccolini and beef and peanut sauce but served me round noodles broccoli and chicken.they thought I wouldn't notice? All this at 7 pm on Friday. Satay was more like jerky than chicken. Left hungry and won't be back

Diner Review №101

Excellent Thai food. Waiter was excellent and even helped me make a selection to order. I'll be back.

Diner Review №102

So happy to see this open, and it’s great!

Diner Review №103

Been there about 5 or 6 times now. Live the staff and the food is always great.

Diner Review №104

The pad thai was fabulous! I got medium spice and it was perfect. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №105

I was excited to try this place as it's literally 5 blocks from my house but was disappointed. Chicken satay was horrible so dry & hard. Tasted old like it was reheated several times. Pork eggrolls tasted weird not the usual thai pork eggrolls & the wrapper was tough on the outside but doughy/slimy on the inside like it was not deep fried long enough. Shrimp pad thai was also a disappointment although they did do okay with the quantity of shrimp but the shrimps were burnt & hard. The crushed peanuts were also burnt. I thought since they have 3 restaurants their food must be good. Nope...

Diner Review №106

Best egg rolls I've had in a long time, and great panag curry. Good portion sizes and friendly staff. Happy to see this place open up!

Diner Review №107

Diner Review №108

Flavorful and well made Thai food. This will be in our regular neighborhood restaurant rotation.

Diner Review №109

Excellent addition to the neighborhood. Service was very attentive and my pad Thai was delicious.

Best Thai we’ve had in the Twin Cities. Got the Pad Kee Mao and Green Curry and both we’re great. Staff was very friendly when I picked up the order.

Diner Review №111
