Favorite thai restaurant. Their fried rice one of a kind. The Bangkok chicken, sweet sauce, is amazing with the white rice. Pad seew always with fresh broccoli. Best spring rolls. The nicest family owns it. They are so hardworking. Their daughter works with them since she was younger and now she is older is so nice and knows the menu so well. Love that they have pics up so you can see entree instead of just reading the name. Always good and always fresh.

When we hunger for Thai food, we always order from this fine restaurant and staff. Always very polite and efficient in getting our orders. We order the food medium or mild and that is plenty hot for us snd you get good quantity, too. Their food seems to be heathier than Chinese food. The owners are very grateful for being Americans and they give their time and food to veterans who are in need. This year they had to hold the veteran event outside because of Covid. They gave gift cards, snacks, blankets, and water to the grateful veterans, some are special needs. Try their food and you will return....

If you are Thais, I would suggest that you don’t eat here. This is not Thai foods. Just paid for two dishes and got back to the hotel and not even two spoons in my mouth, I had to throw everything away in the trash. Foods here are not authentic Thai.

On my lunch hour I run to Tahi Chef...order Chicken Pad Thai and it is done within 7 minutes.
Food is delicious; price is affordable.

Very good food is so good and you get a lot for the price. The people who run the place are very kind and helpful and will be glad to make the food just how you like it. I consider them a very important part of the surrounding community. I've gotten their food many times, and it's always consistent, so you'll know what to expect every time

Food was horrible, and I tried to take the entire entrée back the next day,but they were closed due to a family gathering or something that was posted on the door. I had gotten Kow pad rice with shrimp. The dish smelled rotten, and if I'm sure, I would have gotten food poison. Will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN! The young lady was very nice, though.

My experience so far has been great. Love their Bangkok chicken because it’s not greasy and not too salty. Their fried rice is also really good using fresh fruit and vegetables (also not too salty either). Their hot is super spicy too which I love. I think they will be my go to when I want Asian takeout in my area.

Pad Thai was very different than your typical pad Thai. Very strong carrot flavor, that in my opinion, took away from the signature dishs' flavor. Portion was okay. Spice level was lower than other restaurants, so a med plus hopefully will suffice for next time.

This is me and my family’s go to place when we want to get food out. The food is great and the service is always very friendly.The food is very fresh and tastes amazing.

Love Thai Chef been eating here for many many years and Thai Chef is consistently fresh & delicious - love the Koong Hump Pa my favorite appetizer - mom always says the BBQ Chicken is the best BBQ she's ever had and the Shrimp Bird's Nest has the freshest shrimp and veges and is so delicious.

The best pineapple fried rice Ive had in MI! Really good unique flavor with the orange and the curry sauce.

Ordered the pad Thai had no flavor whats so ever super bland and on their menu it shows it’s priced at $9.50 ended paying $12.50 when I got there. I asked why is it more than what it says the guy goes everything has gone up lol noodles and cheap chicken 👍🏻

Very delicious authentic tasting Thai food.
Especially their rice noodle dishes like Pad Thai are very delicious. The cook understands the need for a very hot flame and quick stir fry as the technique to create that flavor.

Not really to happy I’ve been going here since I was 16 and had ordered food right before closing last night I’ve been sick sense after I ate the food usually there food is great but I had to put this review because I’ve been sick all last night and this morning definitely not what I was expecting from this place. The food must’ve been rushed.

I like spicy food. I mean, I REALLY like spicy food. When I order spicy food, I usually get it as hot as possible. Some places just way over do the dry spices, which make the meal grainy. Others add heat but no flavor. Some add a reserved amount of spice... this is NOT the case with Thai Chef. They successfully made me sweat with their Very Hot red curry, but still made it delicious. I'm going to eat the whole plate, sweat it out, and regret it tomorrow. Very, VERY well done.

I love the fresh ingredients and when my food is properly prepared I don’t need a fancy restaurant taking my money and disappoint me. I’m picky with my hard earned money like I’m serious about the food I put in my stomach. This place is awesome and I love the food. The sauces are authentic as Thailand and it’s main dishes. It doesn’t coagulate once the temperature cools at certain temperatures. That’s a big deal for me being enthusiastic about great food.

First time I went yesterday...The only flavor was pepper flakes. It was horrible.. pad Thai should at least have some kind of flavor. Zero! No Asian inspired tase at all... no spices whatsoever not even garlic powder.... Yuck. My 2 year old wasn't fascinated with chicken broccoli (that's a first) and hubbies drunken noodles was too loaded with pepper flakes to taste anything and from the flavor of mine I'd be surprised if there were any in there. I'm disappointed and we will not go there again!

We ordered take out few minutes ago..and as soon as I opened the food smelled like burnt and the taste is bad too...had extra tofu but that is also very bad...overall worst experience and money is wasted..ordered green curry with name Harry...first time i saw a restaurant served a food which is burned😂😂

I ordered vegetable fried rice and was really disappointed in the quality of food and service. The vegetables were discolored and stale. The rice was greasy and flavorless. When I asked for a side of curry sauce the woman working snapped at me and quickly said no. After asking for a refund she then continued her unprofessional rant by calling me rude and didn't give us the adequate amount we paid. I am completely disturbed by how I was treated by this staff member. I will never return.

Pad Thai was ok, however with a different taste.

I love thai food. Eat it all the time. Their pad thai here was only okay, lacking that panache and flavor all the other pad thais that ive had from other restaurants. The red curry is very strange, not the kind i’ve had before and surprisingly lacking in flavor. Dunno this red curry was just... off. The yellow curry via Gang Karee was super strange, meat, potatoes, in yellow curry over rice? So great, carbs, carbs, and an okay amount of meat. Very strange flavors all around and i wouldnt call this authentic thai food at all.
TLDR: Over all, portion sizes are huge, flavor is okay at best, but the meat was decent quality and cooked well. Theres better thai around, but if you’re hungry the food here will soothe that hunger :)

They have really good Thai food, but unfortunately if you have a gluten allergy you have to be careful. They use gluten free soy sauce and are on top of trying to make sure that you don't get sick eating the food, but it's touch and go. My usual take out order was Kow Pad Garlic, Pad Thai or Pad Seew and while it's very tasty since they've changed the garlic I've gotten sick the last few times that I went to eat there. It's very good and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try a place that's affordable and gives a lot of food, but if anyone has Celiac or a gluten sensitivity just be careful.

Omg. So good. Delicious flavors and good customer service. I'm a trucker, and was parked at Lowes just looking for something different. I came across this place and told them that I had no idea what to get, but I wanted something with chicken, shrimp, and mixed vegetables. They were extremely helpful in suggesting the curry noodle to go with it and putting it all together for me. What I was met with when I returned to my truck was heaven in a box. Lol Might sound cheesy, but try them and thank me later;)

I've been coming here for a dozen years Consistently GREAT food, pleasant service, good value. I pretty much ate the whole menu during that time and all dishes were well prepared and delicious. Take out or small dine in area, you can't go wrong! As a bonus, check out the fine drawings hanging in frames on the walls. These detailed sketches were done by their daughter.

I ordered the drunken noodle with chicken medium spicy. The chicken was cooked well and the meal was delicious. It seemed more authentic Thai than some of the other places I have been, which was also a treat.

My total was about $11 with a bottled soda and the meal was a good portion. And the cashier was very polite and helpful. This is a great family owned and operated restaurant and has earned my continued business.

Have to say I was disappointed. I ordered the curry puff pastry. The picture on the menus showed a fluffy puffy pastry. I received two little stuffed biscuits that tasted ok, but certainly were not what I expected.

I also had the curry chicken. Again, disappointed. The rice was not very hot and the chicken was obviously frozen pre cooked nasty bits of chewy leather. As I ate I picked the chicken out and left it in a pile on another plate. Waitress never asked if there was a problem.

Firt time here. The inside was nice and my food was ready when I arrived. I was in and out. The food itself, however, was not too great. The crab wonton has more onion in it than cream cheese or crab. I was very surprised when I bit into the first and second. I couldn't finish the rest. I ordered Kad Pow Prik, fried, rice, which was tasty, but had a faint burnt taste. The spice was to a level I requested (mild). I would try them again, but never the crab wonton.

Well, I am not from the state of Michigan. I just arrived here after a 10 hour drive from PA on November 7th. On the evening of the 7th, I decided to visit this chinese take out restaurant that is located about a 3min drive from my new apartment. My first visit with this restaurant and it was a HUGE disappointment. When I looked at the shrimp fried rice platter I ordered. It appeared so disgusting, I could not even bare to consume any of it. I ended up tossing the entire entree in the garbage. A full $10.60 in the drain, plus I tipped them! I should have known something, when the meal was prepared so quickly...it literally took less than five minutes. But I didn't open my purchase until I got home and as soon as I saw the BURNT rice as if it was cooked in spoiled cooking oil, the dried cucumbers, the spoiled onions and peppers...I didn't even want to bother with digesting any of it. I did not look at any reviews before I visited the restaurant. But now that I noticed that the reviews are from a certain creed of people. Now I understand why I was treated so poorly, because I do not fit that creed.

Ordered Chicked Pad Thai and 3 spring rolls for a Saturday lunch. Although not "beyond compare", the Pad Thai was good. The portion was nice and filling but not so much that I had a doggy bag to take home. The spring rolls were over done and pretty much the only disappointment. Overall, a nice low key restaurant for a quick bite.

Just ordered for the first time and it was pretty good. Not too much of a fan of the hot and sour soup, actually added hot sauce and it made it better :)) Then we ordered pad brocolli and bangkok chix... both medium spice.. the broc was fine but the bangkok was def more spicy. Overall I think it was good, everything tasted fresh.

Went for the first time (end of september 21013) and it was delicious, very authentic. Price was around 8 to 10 for a dish but was a lot of food so i was happy. There lunch specials are areound 5/6.

I have family in Thailand and have visted the country 3 times and it was just like is was in the homeland, great flavor, lots of spices and not greasy :)

I had the Pod Woon Sen (noodles with chicken etc) and the chicken with string beans, both medium spicy and it was awesome, definetly plan on going agian

Very bad service, very mean owner they charge me 15 cents for an extra stair form cup with my to go food order. When I called to make a complaint the owner said tome “Things are very expensive I cannot give you anything for free” When I respond that you are losing a customer for 15 cents his answer was “That’s ok, don’t come”

Their kow pad was so bland. I was so upset when I tasted it.

Pad Thai was not the best in town. Not even fourth. Pause soup that comes with it taste like dishwater!
