This is hands down my favorite restaurant, I order from here several times a week sometimes. The food is priced extremely well, especially since one dish lasts me at least two days with how big the portions are. Everything is always hot despite the fact that I always order for delivery. I love this place. Definitely get the crab rangoons, they’re huge and the plum sauce is amazing, but every dish I’ve had from Thai Tanic exceeds my expectations. I wish I could give them ten stars.

The Pad Thai I ordered a lunch portion and it was huge! I decided on chicken and a medium + spice level. The flavor and the spice were absolutely perfect and there was a good amount of peanut topping.
Happy to say I just found my new favorite Thai spot, thank you Thai Tanic for the great food and being so friendly and providing great service with affordable prices!

Instead of taking accountability, they blamed me for not knowing their unlisted rules. Unprofessional and dishonest. Beware before ordering!

I'm so glad I won a doordash credit because I'd be so upset is I paid for the absolute worst chicken lettuce wraps! The filling was so watery and salty, so it didn't stay in the wrap. Also I'm pretty sure it's ground chicken, not minced. I am a cook, so I'm not stupid, this was gross either way.
The only reason I give 2 stars is for the pork dish I got. All though the pork was really dry.

Very nice boutique Thai restaurant. The staff are awesome. Very polite and friendly. The food is served fast and spice levels are perfect to taste. Prices are reasonable. They have very limited capacity to dine in. More of a take out joint. Worth trying this place if you are up for some authentic Thai food. Would definitely try it again.

Extremely good food and not a terrible price but the last 3 times I went they were closed despite showing they were open on google maps. Seemingly inconsistent times

Fantastic food. I have ordered combo dinners twice now , the food and people are great.

Can't even eat this "non spicy" dish it's so spicy it hurts my stomach. Never be back here.

Best Thai food I've had in a long time.

One of the worst Thai food I ever had. Ordered the crab meat fried rice with chicken and beef added, all the meat tasted disgusting, we literally threw the food in trash. Crab rangoons and spring rolls were average too.

Best crab ragoons I’ve ever had! They’re inexpensive, large and stuffed full of goodness. My family and friends love when I get them. Highly recommend

Food was fresh. I got the reg pad Thai. I think the sweet and sour sauce it was in, was a little too sweet. Almost unbearable to keep eating in one sitting. At the same time not bad. If that makes any sense. It's jus that there were no different notes I'm flavor and you kinda got tired of eating it... the add on for a vegetable melody was priced extremely well tho, and the gentleman who took my order was really cool!

The spring rolls came with no sauce. Disappointing. They may have been the redeeming quality.

The Bangkok chicken was so dry and overcooked it wasn’t edible. Chewy jerky like texture. Hardly any sauce. Brown green onions. Pass.

The pak delight was the opposite. Swimming in so much sauce it was like a soup. Which is fine if it didn’t lack so much flavor.

Tried this place because they were open late. My suggestion, close earlier. Even drinking I couldn’t eat this food.

Saying all my qualms are due to being DoorDash is asinine. 75% of the food I order is through delivery and I don’t have these quality issues. I’ll stick with the Thai restaurants I know and love.

Food was not good at all. Pad Thai was way too lemony as if someone put too much salt then added lemon to neutralize it. It was too soggy . The egg drop soup was loaded with soy sauce and these crunchy shoots that I kept spitting out because they were turning chewy in the mouth. The egg rolls were extremely greasy without any visible vegetable. I’m thinking they have a new cook. Their food used to be good a few months ago

I ordered 2 crab Rangoons and there burnt plus I also bought the pot stickers and they were also burnt as well and honestly don’t know what this order I got but the chicken is so disgusting.

Haven't ordered in a while from here. Doordashed some pho with brisket. Color of the broth was very very dark, and the brisket was completely falling apart and had some sort of smell. The broth doesn't taste the same that I can remember. My lime was also forgotten. Might have to say farewell to this place and unfortunately take my business somewhere else. Hopefully this restaurant can bounce back and improve!

Crab rangoons from here are to die for. However my order took forever and arrived lukewarm, the chicken is sub par, and not that it's their fault but the driver took over an hour to arrive. I'll give them 5 stars for atmosphere because their name is funny and I've never been in there myself

I Door-Dashed this restaurant for a quick dinner. They prepared my meal within 20 min however the food was below mediocre. It is not authentic Thai food, it more Chinese than anything else. They drown the entree with sauce made it soggy.

We were on our way back from Canada (we live on the west side) and Googled some nearby, non-chain restaurants and happened upon this place with good reviews. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! All four of our meals were so flavorful and the vegetable were fresh and not overcooked! Thank you!

Ordered here for the first time last night. The food was good and the portions were nice. The three stars are for the chicken that was mixed in with my tofu veggie curry. I haven’t eaten poultry in years so I’m glad I caught it.

The portions are generous, hot, and fresh. I love the Panang Curry, Massaman Curry, Curry Noodles and Bangkok Chicken. I’m always torn between trying a different dish or reordering a past favorite. Can’t go wrong.

The peanut curry was the best I've had anywhere and service was great.

Not particularly thrilled with this place. Just so so. Way too expensive for the quality of food. I don't plan to go back there any time soon.

It’s unfortunate the food is so good because the last three times we ordered the food, it had multiple hairs in it. We thought the first and second times it happened that it was a fluke, but we can’t ignore it on the third time. It’s usually the same person cooking and he has a beard, so I’m guessing that’s what it is.

Ordered fom door dash. Egg rolls were completely burnt. The rice was very dry and the Bangkok chicken was beyond bland. I have ordered from here before and I'm shocked at what was delivered to me tonight. Whoever bagged my food did not care about what I would be receiving. Won't spend money here again.

This is one of if not the best Thai restaurants around. The food was all well executed, hot and fresh. The spring rolls had a great texture, nicely seasoned filling and the dipping sauce was a sweet without being overly sweet. The Pad Delight had a great variety of vegetables all well cooked and fresh. Their brown sauce has a solid depth of flavor, nice spice level, that was really balanced nicely with a bit of sweetness. The hot an sour soup may be my favorite hot and sour I’ve had, the addition of water chestnuts adds a great texture component and the broth was rich with a subtle sourness.

The portion sizes were generous and the price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

Beyond the food quality this family owned restaurant treats you just like family. They were friendly, kind and went above and beyond in taking care of our table. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. This is sure to become a regular stop of mine.

So enjoyed this place and what a find on my side of town. Generous portions, delicious Chicken pad Thai and fried rice. Ordered Medium Plus and was my exact level I like. Hot and sour soup was one of the best around.

I ordered the special with scallop fried rice and for my 2 entrees i got the bangkok chicken and the garlic delight pork, the chicken was good and my favorite was the pork. The only thing was i wish they would have put soy sauce in the bag but overall good experience

Got the shrimp pad Thai medium. Was very mild in my opinion and more sweet than heat. Had no bean sprouts which I missed due to the texture. I will order again and will make sure to ask for hot and make sure they finished the meal with what goes in a pad Thai that is listed on their menu. Note. Ask for peanuts on the side they got mushy in the 2 mile drive home. Will order from here again very friendly and food was 4 out 5 from what I had today

Great name. Great food! We ordered $160 worth of food and they fulfilled the order and our appetite. Everything tasted fresh and their curry dishes were amazing. Great Thai food in my neighborhood. I very much recommend for authentic Thai.

The reviews are good overall so I thought I’d try it out. Portions are good, prices fair, food looks good, service good, everything is great except one critical thing: the food is bland as hell. I’ve tried almost every Thai restaurant in the area over the years and this place might rank as the most flavorless and bland I’ve ever had. It’s almost as if it’s just missing something critically important, or maybe the ratios or quantities of sauces or seasonings is off. I have noticed that many of the other low star reviews also say it’s bland so it’s not just me being weird or having an off day (I only noticed those reviews after I ordered and tasted it, not beforehand).

If this issue was fixed, if they figure out what’s missing to make the food bland, then they’d be a 5 star place easily.

Best Thai place in the area, maybe all of Michigan. Gives most spots in NYC a run for their money. Massaman curry and the red curry w veggies are our favorites. Best Thai food I have ever had that was not in Thailand

This place was amazing. My wife and I ate on Saturday afternoon. Each dish was flavorful. Staff was very friendly.

I absolutely loved their Masaman Curry! It was extremely fresh ingredient wise and honestly was the best I’ve had so far. I got a lunch portion which is enough for two people if you wanted to split. Lunch was only $11! It’s rare to get a good portion too for a fair price. I also had crab Rangoon which was only $6 but they’re huge. Staff is very sweet and it’s a great place for everyone. I will go again.

I let them know I have an allergy to mushrooms and they were cautious about it. I really appreciate restaurants that take dietary restrictions seriously.

This place has a family and loving aura to it. I really recommend it and if you have any complaint, or preference they do their best to accommodate. I recommend dining in the most to have the best experience! You won’t regret it.

I absolutely hate giving bad reviews especially toward Thai Restaurants....I ordered thru door dash based on the great reviews and I can honestly say it's overrated. The Hot and Sour soup was neither hot(spicy) nor sour. Very thick and flavourless. The Pad Thai (sauce) was sour as in tasting spoil I was highly disappointed. Lastly the garlic fried rice had no garlic or even flavor of garlic at all just normal fried rice..... I'm sure if the cook was having a bad day but Im not sure if I'll give this place another try

Finally found the best Thai restaurant in sterling heights. The softest tofu I've ever had, excellent spice/heat level and awesome balanced flavors. Had the drunken noodles and masaman curry (we tend to order the same dishes at a new restaurant) and both very well made. And you've got to try their chili oil, it's delicious and hot!

Thai Tanic was the halfway meeting place for me to see my parents to celebrate my birthday over lunch.

The food was amazing. The service was better. Kimmy was the best, most accommodating server. She engaged with my parents and did everything she could to ensure their happiness.

The eggplant curry (my favorite) was fantastic! The portions were enormous, so I had plenty to take home, as did both my parents.

Chicken basil rice is the best

If you guys like hot spicy thai food this is the place. I've visited thialand and multiple surrounding countries and had some amazing favourful food. I've never had my mouth burnt with red hot raw chilli, my lips are swollen and eyes watering and running , my nose running still after 40 minutes from a medium spiced thai red curry and galic rice. They forgot the extras orders and told me to get refund from door dash even though I picked up the order from the store. They also said they will keep a credit for me at the store if I return and make a request. I think keep the funds...as extra tip for my suffering and pain.
I could not finish a small side plate of food. It was not enjoyable. The rest will be straight to the garbage. $40 in the garbage. Sorry i took a picture to show you I'd eaten a quarter of a plate off food. It will not let me up load the picture. Otherwise you could see...

So tried this place for the first time. The service was great but food was just ok.

I really wanted to love this place based on reviews I read but that just wasn't the case. Portions were huge but the food was extremely bland and simply wasn't good. It was a "C". I got basil fried rice with beef and barely had any beef or veggies in it. It was a huge rice pile. We were the only ones dining in but it was really slow getting our food. Waitress was very nice but we had to wait about 5 minutes for her to get to work to take our orders. Not a very good thing. Lastly, our meals were $15 each. So not even close to being worth it. I felt cheated..... we also witnessed waitress giving grubhub a HUGE order. Grubhub came back in a few minutes later and said "this isn't our order, this order says Door Dash". I thought it was disgusting that food that entered someone else's car wasn't thrown away. It just sat there as if nothing happened so when it gets picked up by the correct people, they won't have any idea that someone else had their food. Waitress didn't even seem bothered by her error.

There potato curry was yummy..... The pho was alright also. If ur getting a pho they have a large, xlarge and a superbowl.

I ordered from door dash tonight, thought I would try a new thai place. The food was just not good, lacked flavor and the fried rice was awful, and it contained egg which I put in the notes no egg because my son has an allergy. I called, the lady who answered said sorry, they were busy. I've worked in the food industry as a cook for 10 years and ignoring an allergy is something so serious, I would think they would be more apologetic.

Without a doubt, the best Thai in Shelby Twp. Might be the best Thai on the East Side / Macomb County. Wonderfully expressed standards and interesting originals. The option to include their outstanding Fried Rice, and the interesting protein blends compliment the Thai / Vietnamese hybrid menu. Just great.

Friendly and sociable service. Water was brought to the table with the menu. A society norm that has been fading fast. Nice touch! Appetizer served hot and crispy as wings should be. The Bangkok Street noodles absolutely delicious, flavorful, spicy and served hot. They use fresh chilies. Highly recommend this small little restaurant. Carry out as well ;)

I really wanted to like this place; the reviews on the ordering app were good, the reviews here were good and I see they’re good here too, but it just...didn't hit the spot at all.

The spring rolls, while crunchy on the outside, were terribly mushy on the inside. I didn't even eat a fully one. Yes, i know one of the components is noodles, but I thought the veg would balance it out and also they wouldn't over cook the noodles considering what they were going in. No such luck.

For the pad thai, I got chicken and the chicken...tasted like it was cooked separate and barely added at the end. So if I ate a bite of noodles and egg and beansprout, it tasted just fine and what I’d expect; I could taste the wonderful pad thai flavor. If I put any chicken in a bite, the flavor was extremely bland and terrible and some of those chicken pieces are huge. Disappointing.

The taro milk tea was good, even if the amount of ice was...a lot.

Very friendly staff and excellent food. Their prices have gone up recently, but I truly don't mind. I will continue to come regularly.

Ordered pork vermicelli noodles with egg roll. Decent size portion, but the sauce could sustain a little more fish sauce & egg roll would be great if they have more meat instead of taro like other Vietnamese restaurant.

The chicken in my curry noodles had a foul smell and taste as if it was way beyond its shelf life. I took one bite and gagged so hard that I threw the rest of my dish away. Based on the rest of the reviews this must not be common but there was absolutely something wrong with the chicken in my dish.

This is the number one restaurant on all of Hall Road wonderful service excellent food great staff they treat their GrubHub drivers with respect and stay busy hard-working place with excellent food and tea please check them out they are wonderful

My wife and I absolutely love this little gem. Their Thai curries are spot on, and they have some of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. Personally, I recommend the “Vietnamese style” fried rice with pork. Relatively cheap, very nice portions and packed with flavor. The woman serving me really knew her stuff and her recommendations were perfect.

Killer food. I've been there 3 times now and every time was excellent. Be a little careful with spice, medium here is what most places would consider hot.

The food was served fast and hot. Service was fantastic but I was really bummed at prices of the tea. I've been to other Thai places and plain old ice tea, doesn't cost this much. The other complaint I had was the amount of oil in my food. I had POOLS of oil on my plate after I finished eating. It turned my stomach a bit. Overall it was a good meal but I don't think that I will be going back again.

Want to give this place another try in the near future. I ordered the Gang Gai (hot) and let me tell you, it did not lack in the spice department. Be warned. As someone who always orders Thai Food in spice level hot, this had my eyes watering and tongue burning so much that the dish was not enjoyable. No fault of the chef, I ordered hot and that’s what I got! From what I’ve gathered, they use imported Thai chilis to give a more authentic flavor. Not much flavor in the dish, but I’m thinking the spice just overpowered everything else. Definitely coming back, and going medium with some spice on the side!

Have gotten delivery from there a couple times. The food is great. I get tofu pad Thai and my boyfriend gets drunken noodles. He's usually pretty picky with drunken noodles but this place he has actually liked a lot. The tofu pieces for my pad Thai were significantly larger than other places I've gotten. Only issue is that it's a little more pricey than what I'm used to but overall the food tastes better.

YUM! This place doesn't look like much from the street but it's nice and clean inside. The food is AMAZING! I love Thai food and this is easily top 5. There are alot of bubble tea options as well. Everything was a great experience. It always feels good to support a small local place like this... I would never get this quality in the chain places that seem to be the norm around this area.

I ordered from this place using door dash. I took a chance and it did not disappoint.. wow. Just wow.. the pad thai is bomb.com and the potato curry which I got with tofu was amazing. I have already had 2 meals from my food and I have enough food for at least 2 more meals. What a great place to get food from. I have never had Thai food before and I am so happy I tried it. I ordered mild+ on all items and it was perfect. Flavor, some spice but just enough to get some heat but not enough to burn off your taste buds.
I will recommend this restaurant and I will go back.

Huge portions, lots of leftovers. Very good flavors.

It was our first time at the restaurant. We were the only dine in customers but they had a brisk pickup business while we were there. We enjoyed a great meal. Their menu has enough variety for customizing dishes and to make choices even if you are vegan.
The Fresh Rolls were perfect. The wrappers weren't oversoaked or too chewy. Those are hard to find prepared correctly. I had the Veggie Pho packed with lots of veggies. There were so many I couldn't even get the bean sprouts in the bowl. The waitress warned me not to get a XL Pho bowl. They are huge. The Large was the perfect size for all the noodley goodness.
Prices were reasonable and food was good quality. We'll definitely stop by when we are in the area again.

We were hungry, and my friend was in the mood for Thai. I was in the mood for food. She recommended Thai Tanic, a place I have not had before. It was a great recommendation.

My order: Prik Delight add chicken and medium spice.

I enjoyed the vegetable mixture. It was simple and straight forward. The salty brown sauce was like a lighter but just as salty soy sauce.

One thing that I would ask for differently is for less juices/brown sauce in the container. It was too much in the container so it leaked out in the bag and all over the containers of food that was ordered.

Very good food and very hot!! Plus I liked that it didn't close at 9:00 p.m. I would recommend this place.

Food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the large Pho with beef & chicken. The broth was perfect and I would definitely go back for some more. Place is small and hidden. The food was authentic. I enjoyed it.

I've been eating pho since I was a teenager and I loved what I had from here. As soon as I tasted the broth I knew I had found a winner. Smoothie with Boba was great too. The dining room was very clean and comfy looking. Will definitely be back!

This Thai food was ok. It is in a quaint little spot and kind of easy to miss. I went here because my normal spots were closed and was really craving Thai food.

Ordered online and picked up in 20 mins. We had potstickers, pad thai, and drunken noodles. Potstickers are steamed, not fried. We ordered medium+ on pad thai and medium on noodles, but my husband said noodles were spicier, so beware of inconsistency in spice level. That being said all items were delicious and not overpowering in heat level. Enough to make the nose run! Haha. Leftovers reheated well. Overall, very happy and will order again!

Absolutely loved this place. I was looking for Thai food and only saw it because I hot stuck at a red light. We live an hour away and are already talking about the next time we come here. 5 stars without a doubt.

My 1st time ever having Thai food. My experience was not at all what I was expecting. The pictures on the menu were nothing like what came out. Everything was x'd out so not to many options. The seafood was terrible. I spent 50 dollars, my daughter and I didn't touch our food. We basically gave away 50 dollars. I cried when I left mad at myself for spending that much.

Pad Thai was watery and slimy with no taste

I placed an order two days ago through their website. The website stated that they were open and when I placed my order it said my food would be ready in 20 minutes. When I went to pick up my order, the place was closed and there were other people outside waiting for their order as well. I’ve been calling for a refund and the place is still closed 2 days later. Update your hours and fix your website to not take peoples money when you are closed.

I love Thaitanic! Everything I've eaten here is high quality, fresh, and delicious! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Their Thai iced tea is the best I've ever had. We eat here at least every other week! I highly recommend anything on the menu but my all time favorite is chicken peanut curry!

Their thai food is great and their bubble teas so tasty.

Edit: Good food, hard working family business. Came in for lunch and was taken care of by this gorgeous lady.
