I've been missing a good noodle bowl, and decided to give Teriyaki Bowl a try. The place is cozy and the staff are very friendly. I was seated immediately and ordered the Beef bowl, which is Vietnamese style, almost but not quite like Pho. I was asked to select the level of spice and went with 5 out of 5 to see what their definition of spicy is. The soup came out quickly. It was fantastic, and exactly what I've been craving! The broth was savory, the beef done to perfection, and the noodles perfect. I eat very spicy dishes every day, so for me the spice was maybe a 2 out of 5. I can't wait to come back and try their other dishes!

To go order. I had chicken fried rice and my husband had beef stir fry. Server asked spicy level. I said 0 and he said 1. Even states it on our receipt. Both of ours was so spicy and peppery we could barely eat it. Crab rangoon was delicious. We can take a little heat, but this was ridiculous! Pretty disappointed. Service was good. Portion size was average. Pretty spendy for what you get.

The service is amazing as it is a family run business with mom and dad doing the cooking and there son is the waiter who is extremely friendly and helpful. This is by far one of the best customer service restaurants I've been to. The food also did not disappoint. I had the beer teriyaki on pad noodles and holy cow was it amazing. The sauce is homemade with extra bottles on the table. Be sure to leave with some sauce to go as its amazing! Great job to this family team!

The fresh veggie wraps were a delicious appetizer and their signature Teriyaki sauce at the table was nuanced and gingery. I am bummed that I am 7 hours from home or this would be in our restaurant rotation for sure. We definitely won’t miss it next time we’re at the cabin in the UP!

The food is not very good. I tried this place years ago and tried it again today only to be reminded of why I never went back. The staff are very nice, its just a shame the food is bad.

khop khun maak. Enjoyed the pat thai,, fried rice. And calamari very much. Please bring back cold saki. This place is an absolute jem although located in a buisness strip. Very clean restaurant with friendly people to take care of you. Highly recommend, seating is limited and always full. Best chance to get a seat is right at open or around 3pm. Spice above 3 will really give you a true taste Thailand.

I ordered the Pad Thai spice level 3. Not sure what I got but it did not resemble anything like Pad Thai. Had a sweet & sour red sauce, no peanuts & absolutely no spice...do NOT order it! Won't order from here again....

Absolutely LOVE this place. As a vegetarian, I have never had a bad dish. Portions are plenty and flavors are wonderful.

A friend of mine and I came to eat. She has a fully registered service dog, and we were asked to sit away from the other customers. Which is illegal. I was so excited to try this restaurant. My friend asked to speak with the manager that was segregating us, and the waiter refused. she simply wanted to explain the illegality, but we were not allowed to do that.
This business will be reported to the ADA.

I’ve been to this place several times and have always enjoyed my food. I was greatly disappointed this time. I usually get the fresh spring rolls and today I should have sent them back (I hate doing that). They were very small and all they had in them was lots of lettuce and a little carrot, no tofu or bean sprouts. Not sure if there was spinach or not. Certainly not worth the $7.00 you pay for them.
On a positive note, the tofu in my teriyaki was phenomenal and I got plenty of rice noodles.

We are visitors here, spending a lot of time and money in Marquette. We love it here and my husband graduated from Northern years ago. We camp often in the UP. First time eating here and I was disappointed in the amount of food received. My son got the Beef Teriyaki Bowl, we paid extra $ for more beef, so $16.50. He liked his pretty well but it was a very small amount, not enough for a growing 14-year old boy! I ordered the combination starter which was $15, way too costly for what you get. 3 Egg rolls, more like tiny spring rolls…not egg rolls, 2 fried pot stickers and 3 crab rangoons, were just so-so. Totally not worth $15. I asked for sweet and sour and yum yum sauce and she said it was in the box…we found one small container of sweet and sour, more sour tasting and runny, and a small container of soy sauce. NO yum yum sauce. They gave us one fortune cookie and then wanted me to tack on an $18% or larger tip…for take out. No thanks. Our bill before tax, etc was $33, with the $4 tip I left, $37 total… not going back there. Sorry, but with this economy , when people chose your eating establishment this day and time, and pay that much for take-out, you should do your best if want them to come back. We won’t be.

This is mine and my husband’s favorite restaurant in Michigan. It’s been 3 years since we moved from Marquette to Detroit, and we missed it so much that we made the trip all the way up to Marquette this weekend just for Teriyaki Bowl. We were thrilled to find that it was just as amazing as always. 10/10 recommend, this place does everything right.

Always have a lovely time here, the staff is super nice. They have the best tofu in town, very crispy but soft. I usually get the Spicy Thai Basil and it’s bomb.

As a vegetarian and my first time eating at this restaurant the food was delicious and filling. I got it at medium spicy as I hadn’t been here before and will likely order it a bit spicier next time, but it did have some kick to it! I dined in and the service was great, friendly, and allowed me to take my time eating. I can’t wait to come back and try another dish. <3

If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would. Amazing food-my partner and I always order the Tom Yum Noodle soup and it's to die for. Great atmosphere inside. It feels lively and yet calm and cozy at the same time. Staff is so kind and welcoming. Love this place-thank you for serving us 💕

This place is such a treat for me to visit. It’s definitely a craving too. For someone who grew up being super picky, this is one of my favorite places to eat.

Service and staff were friendly and helpful. I got the beef teriyaki bowl with chow mein. It was more like seasoned spaghetti noodles they were so thick. I was disappointed for flavor and the beef was more like jerky.

Amazing food and it is fun to see the warm and friendly staff cooking right there at check out. They will ask you if you want your food spicy level 0 to 5. I triple double dog dare you to ask for level 10. Wowza it was super hot and delicious haha! Everything is great! They also have amazing bubble tea just like everyone selling amazing bubble tea in Hawaii!

This place was the closest thing in Marquette MI to having pho! Beef noodle soup was average. The server was very friendly.

Best fresh rolls & perfect portion of curry if you're taking food to go. Their tofu is fried perfectly. All of the curry sauces are thick and delicious and packed with the rice so you don't have to do that yourself - Tbh I was off put by this at first but it's so convenient, it cancels out the chance of spilling hot liquid everywhere and you can just dig in right when you get your food.

It was a pretty meh experience for me. My green curry was super dry, my wife's Teriyaki was so sweet it was hard to eat, and my son's soup was very good, but had a bug in it.

Very friendly service. Food was good and fresh. You can pick your level of heat from 1-5. I had the chicken teriyaki with veggies, heat level 3 and it packed a decent punch. Will definitely visit again when I am in the area.

I dine in here every chance I get. I was a bit scared because I had not been to Marquette in two years. This last weekend was 10/10 again. I love this place so much!!

We were in town and stopped by here after 6 so they only offered take out. We got 3 different teriyaki bowls: steak, chicken, and vegetable. Each is about $11. The girl takin our order was absolutely the sweetest. The food was OK. The accompanying sauce was a bit too sweet.

Excellent!!! Many choice options and veggie friendly. Also, best crab rangoon I've ever had. Perfect amount of crunchy shell and a delicious balance of cream cheese and crab. I had a generals chicken bowl and it was the best chicken ever! Nice and crunchy, unlike most Asian food that has soggy chicken, and it was sauced to perfection!!! Best noodle bowl I've had in a while. Definitely will be back again soon!

Tastes like sesame oil and disappointment

Having lived most of my life in Seattle has made me very spoiled when it comes to Asian food, specially Teriyaki. I was not expecting to receive such wonderful food and impressive flavors from some place in the UP. But was I ever happy I did! And great service to boot! The server was a bit shocked that the 5 spice level wasn’t too much for. 😆 I’ll definitely be going back soon.

I only order the fried rice, but I love it here.

It’s okay, we had the bbq pork over rice, crispy meatballs over rice, teriyaki beef over rice, and Tom yum noodles. Food doesn’t really taste authentic - tastes like it’s catered more towards American Asian food. The meat was a bit dry all around and the rice slightly undercooked.

I've eaten here enough to know when someone different is making the tofu which is my favorite thing on the menu!
My dad is one of the pickiest eaters I know, and this is the place he requests when he comes into town to visit.
