This was my second time having Thai food and I had an absolutely delicious dinner here! My friend and I split some crab rangoons and crispy chicken rolls. The rangoons were so hot, crispy, and gooey with the cream cheese inside, and the plum sauce went great with it. The crispy chicken rolls were also crispy and savory and I liked the garlic peanut sauce. For soup, I tried the tom yum. The lemongrass broth was so refreshing and flavorful! For my entree I had woon sen with squid (I don’t know why it’s misspelled as voon sen on the menu). I was shocked by the portion size! The glass noodles were so flavorful and spicy and the squid wasn’t too chewy! My friend had curry noodles with chicken which were super creamy. The portions and flavor are amazing for the price, and the waiters were very nice. I highly recommend!
Second or third time i’ve made the mistake of getting a chicken dish here. Totally gross tastes rubbery and flavorless. They need to change whatever they’re doing here. Told them this and they said the cook said “we’ve had no complaints about the chicken” so I guess everyone has terrible taste in chicken? Or maybe they just don’t call to complain? I even noted I wasn’t looking for a refund. Also asked for (in writing) extra eggplant and you can see by the photo I got a whole lot of green peppers instead. This place used to be good. Bummer.
My initial experience was disappointing. I opted for delivery, and the food arrived well-packaged and still warm. Here's what I ordered:
1. The Crab Rangoon left much to be desired, with minimal filling and flavor.
2. The Massaman had great flavor but seemed to be missing something, plus an abundance of peas.
3. Surprisingly, the sesame chicken sauce had an oddly fruity taste.
I chose this place based on positive reviews, but it seems my taste buds may differ. Check it out for yourself.
Like many have said before me, this place used to be great but in recent years has declined considerably. The past two times my take out pad Thai has been burnt with charred black bits mixed about, making it inedible. Today was edible, containing no carbonized bits of charred glitter. Was it good food? No, but it was edible. It may be worth driving out to find a more consistent place to get your Thai fix. This place doesn't live up to what it used to.
I referred this restaurant to a friend who wanted Thai food. I picked up the food and drove back past East Land. We both had chicken and pineapple fried rice and it was very over cooked. The rice and meat was mushed together. I called to speak to a manager and he ensured me that he would credit the meals so that we could come back later and retrieve edible meals because I had driven so far. I called back a week or two later to have a different “manager” tell me that the meals were only credited 50% and that’s what it said on the receipt. When I asked to speak to the person who wrote the note of course they weren’t the but the current manager refused to rectify the information. Instead of making the correction she argued with me about what their policy which was never initially explained. I am highly disappointed in the food as well as the service. I hope they can restore both back to their standard
This restaurant is a rip off. They will give you the smallest amount of meat possible. I got a total of 3 pieces of chicken in my curry noodle. Stop cheating you customers and give us a reasonable amount of meat for an $18 entree.
Good food

Tofu Pad Thai
Food has allways been good . They Raised the Prices a whole lot . Thats the only thing keeps me from coming here . Thats everywhere now days. I’m Tired off seeing such high prices
Ordered food online for a big group of people. One has a gluten allergy. The menu online shows a lot of meals gluten free. Most Thai food is gluten free. Well after we ordered they called to say its not gluten free and the menu online is wrong and they put their chicken in flour. We asked if they can cook it without the flour. They told us no, they wouldn't do that.
My favorite thai restaurant for the last 10 years. I’ve literally moved cities and still drive 40 minutes just to get these delicious recipes
Good food
Great new Thai joint if you’re in the area! Chou was super friendly and informative! The staff was smiles as well. Tried drunken and satay and both were delish!
The amazing!!!!!! All I can say is thank you for the best thai in the world
Alex is great!
Love my crispy duck. It was amazing.
I ordered the pineapple fried rice, lettuce wraps and red snapper basil fish. All were absolutely fresh and delicious! Will be going back!
Placed my usual take out order of pad ped and a Thai iced tea. When I arrived to pick up my order, discovered the tea is no longer being served in a Styrofoam cup, but is now served in a can. The waitress assured me it is the same as before. It is not. The canned tea tastes like chocolate milk. Will not be ordering this again.
Alex was our server, very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding! There was 7 of us and all of us enjoyed it!
Met a buddy there for dinner yesterday. Great meal!!! I loved the Curry Red Snapper!!! And Alex was awesome.
Had the best meal ordered the bang bang chicken and lettuce wraps was delicious. Alex was are waiter he was great service was super quick and helpful. 10/10
We come weekly for the good for and friendly atmosphere. The Amazing Alex is always up for some great conversation and service. Cynthia is the sweet waitress that always lends a kind hand and word…..
Thanks again for making our experience so pleasant……
Love eating in at this place! Personable, professional service and great high quality food. I love the green curry, chicken satay, and their thai iced teas. My friend also enjoys their garlic udon noodle dish. We will probably become regulars, lol!
The service was amazing and the food was awesome. Also great place, Very big portions. Also love the bathrooms. I definitely recommend this restaurant 20/10
Delicious!!
Food used to be so much better, specifically the beef. I don't know if it's a new chef now or what. But they are charging a bit more, which would be okay if the food was how it used to be
Very good. Food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Dining at T N Thai Bistro was a delightful culinary experience from start to finish. The soups were particularly impressive, bursting with flavorful tastes.
Alex, Tony, and Yanni were very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious!
Food is wonderful, the fried rice is awesome & the crab rangoon.
Had a wonderful dinner last night. Food and service were excellent! Alex, our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great advice on entrée selections. I look forward to dining again soon.!!
Everything here has an extra depth of flavor that you don't see at other places.
Fresh and tons of flavors
Good food.
Ordered online. Didn’t get an email confirmation then called it in with no help, didn’t try to help and was hung up on.
This place is beyond inconsistent. I ordered the Thai Basil fried rice today and the food is extremely salty. It’s too salty to eat. It’s not edible by any stretch of the imagination. It was perfect last week. I also ordered fresh rolls and it didn’t come with a creamy peanut dipping sauce. They didn’t even know what I was talking about. The owners need to evaluate what’s going on with their staff. I called to voice my concern and they wouldn’t answer the phone. It’s only 6:30. They’re open until 9! I’m beyond pissed, and highly irritated. What a waste of money and a thirty minute drive. I asked for extra vegetables and they added mixed vegetables. I only requested Broccoli, and extra vegetables that are originally in the dish which are onions, bell peppers, green beans, and basil. The fresh rolls are flavorless. The shrimp inside is unsalted shrimp, and it’s a very strange texture. I ended up throwing all my food in the trash. The phones finally picked up at 6:50. I got a refund on the rice. However I won’t be back due to how inconsistent this place has been over the years.
The waitress was so awesome.
Masaman is good. Placed an online order through Doordash, and they messed up my order and refused to offer me a credit. Really unprofessional considering I paid $5 extra for more protein I didn't receive. Going to search for another Thai restaurant.
This place has the jives to keep up with the good ones and the funk to keep it goin.
but no more sushi? hmmmm three stars.
sorry.
Incredibly dry pad thai and the bang bang chicken was thick and undercooked.
Fast delivery via DoorDash and great service onsite as well. Food never disappoints- I would highly recommend the crab Rangoon.
The online pick up was ready in a blink of an eye. Keep up the great work!
Amazing food.
I'm done with this place. The past two times I have ordered from there my order has either been missing food or not what i ordered. Previous time I received the wrong appetizer and was shorted one entirely. I wrote it off as a mistake. Tonight I order online and pay for extra rice. Get all the way home and no extra rice. I live 20 minutes from the restaurant so I didn't want to drive all the way back there for a side of rice. I called and they wouldn't just credit the $2.00 back to my card. The food here is good but i'm done giving this place money.
I bought dinner and paid for delivery. This review is not about the food. However, it’s the service. I did not receive any utensils or napkins and was working and could not eat my food until I got home. There should napkins and utensils included in every order.
Order was not correct!!! Added when they should have subtracted items. No taste. Maybe an off day. It's usually tasty. This visit, the food was horrible.
Best Thai food in the Pointes.
Really flavorful food! Nicest waitress! Thai iced coffee was super good! I had sesame chicken my husband had the thai peanut seafood dish...will definitely go again!
Love their noodles and fried rice.
Best Thai food around. I love the Massaman chicken curry.
Everything is good here. I'm a big fan of the sush, but also go for the pineapple fried rice or udon noodles. The customer service is great and it's a great location. Never dined inside but the ambiance is nice.
The food was really good. I went with a coworker and we have the crab fried rice and it was really tasty.
This is our go to place for Thai carryout. Delicious and always speedy for carry out. We do also enjoy their sushi.
This Thai food is so fresh and delicious. I love how spicy they make their food and the their selection of menu items is quite delightful. The soup is really well done and the sushi too. Wish they had better hours like they used to be open for lunch.
Tonight my daughter had to return twice to get her meal corrected. Being GF and allergic to onions it is important that her food is made correctly to keep her from getting violently sick. Being in the food service industry for 40+ years I get making mistakes but to have to return twice to get it right and not offered a refund or free meal next time is unacceptable. We will spend our money at the Thai restaurant in SCS from now on.
Absolutely horrible slow service!!! We never received appetizer plates for our lettuce wraps even after getting up and asking 2 different people for them. After waiting for about 20 minutes with our now cold untouched appetizer in front of us we asked for our bill for our drinks and left! I would give it 0 stars if I could.
Always a great experience ordering takeout from TN Thai. Food ready, packed up nicely and piping hot. Very happy!!!
This place use to be good, but they pulled back on their rice portions, and every year their prices go up. Now as of lately they’re never open their hours are ridiculous and always changing.
I was looking forward to some thai food. I havent ordered yet, but so far, "disappointing" would be an understatement. There is not a soul in here on a Tuesday at 6pm. I sat at my table for 10 minutes before even being acknolwedged, which gave me time to pen my review. Ridiculous. I watched 3 people walking about in the back hallway there, and it took another 3 minutes simply for a water. No music or atmosphere here... its like a library without books. I can see why this place is empty. Im praying the food is redeeming! I can tell you, this will be my last experience here.
One of the best Thai food I ever had (I am not sure how authentic Thai people rate it). It had very delicious curry taste that I never had in other Thai restaurants around Detroit and Windsor. I had curry fried rice. I would highly recommend the plate I ordered.
We got the king crab California roll, it was really fresh and good! For the entree we had the chicken pad thai and it was one of the better ones in Michigan! If you’ve never had a thai tea they don’t get any better than this place as well. Food came fast but we never saw our server till we were way past finished. Would recommend carry out!
portion sizes are great for the price and the food is always delicious ! so glad they’re open for dine in again
Good food great service
Always look forward to dining here. Friendly owner. Usually have a gluten free pad thai!
When is this place even open?!!?!?
I used to love going to TN Thai Bistro but, over time, the food started going a little down hill. I moved out of state for 2 years. Now I’m back and wanted to give it another whirl but the dang place is NEVER OPEN!!!
UGH!
Delicious Thai food and sushi! Great portion sizes! Vegetarian and vegan options!
Good food
Outdoor seating is gone but the food is still delicious!
I would have given 5 stars but once when I went there they messed up mine and another customers order and we had to wait an additional 25 to 30 minutes. Most the time a great place but can get really busy during dinner rush
Terrible service; Placed 1/2 the order on-line & called them immediately to add the other half. They refused, & one rude person said the sushi might be stolen by Door Dash driver if they included that & there would be no refund. So they refused to cancel the order as I asked, and they delivered only one half the order, for 3 people. I explained that we made the same order the last 2 weeks in a row, and there was no problem. She seemed very testy, and very rude, and hung up. We are contesting the charge with the credit card company.
Finding a place with great Thai and great sushi is a win win! The food and service here is so consistent. I love the seafood curry here.
Omg!!! I love it!!!! Always has!!
Good food at a good price.
Ahhhh. Mediocre. Sooo disappointed with my carry out. My fried rice was dry and bland. Total waste. Not even good enough to finish eating.
The prices are alright but I did get a mystery ingredient in my sushi. Looked like it could have been a spring onion but honestly, I have no idea. I didn't say anything, however, so I can't attest to customer service.
We've been ordering from this restaurant for years. The food quality is inconsistent, but normally good. However, today's meals were missing vegetables and my food was extremely dry and bland. The manager wasn't helpful in resolving the issue, which is disappointing for how expensive their food is. This will be the last time we will be ordering food from this place. There's a lot of other restaurants out there who value their customers and who have better quality food for a more reasonable price. #go somewhere else
I ordered 3 Kow Pad entree’s. Not only informed Emily on the call to order but as well as when I arrived to pick up about my daughters sever seafood allergy as she is only 3 years old. I was assured that there is no seafood related ingredients in chicken fried rice. When I arrived home to eat dinner my daughter had an allergic reaction to the food and it took me calling 3 times to your restaurant for Emily to finally inform me that there is Oyster Sauce in the food. My daughter, may I remind you is only 3 years old and has to carry an Epi-pen with her at all times as her throat can close. I have been calling asking to speak with any type of Management and continue to get a response that “Richie” will contact me back as however I have still not received a response.
Amazing Thai food, love the owner, he’s a very sweet man, definitely worth checking out.
Thai food is most definitely a go to for our household. T N Thai used to be one of our favorite! Though last night we got take out (11/16/2021) and the meal we order usually comes with chicken and veggies submerged in red coconut curry sauce and rice on the side… unfortunately our meal was extremely dry as they gave us barely any of the sauce. Usually you have to be careful of how you carry the take out as it is supposed to be full of liquid. When I say there was zero liquid, there was seriously no sauce, which made for a very dry dinner. It was disappointing because no matter how good the flavor is, Pad Ped is not meant to be a dry dish, but rather very saucy. Probably will not come back just for this reason, even though their flavors are amazing! Super unfortunate.
I’ve eaten here since I was a kid and worked here as well! Always and forever my favorite restaurant and one of the best in Grosse Pointe. ❤️
Great food and service
Food and great people
this is my favorite restraunt on the entire planet. i eat here multiple times a week when im busy at work. they make the food super fast. affordable and bomb!! u must go here
I was in love with this place in the first few times I had even took family for a dinner… but the taste of the food is inconsistent one day it’s delicious and the next it’s terrible I have been trying this place on and off for over 6 years and it’s still very inconsistent and nothing is every done about complaints of the food!!!
The pad curry chicken was good. Really good. Spicy.
The sesame chicken seemed like it was 6 months old. It was not good.
The sweet and sour sauce was yellow, not red. Seemed weird. I didn't eat it.
I guess be careful what you order.
Food was excellent. It was my first time but not my last time at all.
I am so disappointed in the dish I purchased I called ask the staff person was this an authentic Thai restaurant I was told yes I ordered $30 of Pad Sew The food was not good at all and I did not see one person from an Thai culture I have never been so disappointed
Can't believe they only have sushi until July 5.
They took the time to explain the difference between mild and 🥵🔥 hot. Great service.
Very unprofessional stuffs working in the front. Long wait time.
Terrible, that’s all i can say my food was watery and just looked terrible. After looking at the food i lost my apatite. I paid 41 and i would have done better going to chipotle or McDonald’s . Very disappointed. Never again!!!!!!
Ordered the peanut noodle, they didn’t put noodles in the dish. Was told if I bring in the dish they would remake it. Ridiculous. They made the mistake, they should credit the customer. First and last time.
I am disappointed. My order was simple. 2 orders of medium spice, chicken pad Thai. I received one order with chicken, one without. Both had zero spice. Zero. It’s disappointing because it’s such a simple order.
I always order no spice or not spicy for a carry out and they keep making it spicy. They’ve done it about four times already. The only time they get it right is when I eat inside. I had enough the last time so I drove back and returned it. The only reason we order from there is because it’s really close to us. Food is average, service is great.
Update: The last two recent order I got was correct. I ordered Gang Gait and Pad Thai with no spice.
Prompt service, delicious Thai food and sushi.
One of my favorites in town. Great sushi and thai food. Crispy rolls are my favorite.
I was not impressed. the sauce was great. I don't like fat wings i like the flats. One looked like a drumstick. Probably won't return.
Delicious and vegan friendly
I would've given 5 stars as the food is always prepared nicely , but recently started charging for the Sriracha and dry spice mixture. The menu clearly states that they are not responsible for the food being to hot based on the level requested. I uderstand that so I usually get a low spice level to ensure is not spicy then ask for the side of hot sauce. They are now charging for that but it shouldn't be a problem to give a one per minimum if asked by the customer then charge for additional. To me its equivalent to charging for soy sauce with your sushi purchase.
Food is decent but this is the second time I’ve driven all the way here because they’re listed as open for dining and open for carry out and they’re closed. The hostess has also been very short with customers. And COVID-19 related issues are not to blame, this is simple management stuff. Update your listings and show some respect to the customers that are keeping your business alive.
This place is usually quite busy when I visit, so bring a little patience. But, the food is wonderful and the service is great too.
Really good food!!! I drive a nice distance to go here full of flavor and spice is not to hot.
Ok thai
Excellent food and service
I love this restaurant, I have since 2006!! But their consistency has always bothered me :(
They changed their mushrooms for the Tom Kha Soup and their cheesy noodles are never the same! Sometimes there is a different chef who doesn't put cheese in, or just puts spice in.. I love this place, I just hope for more consistency in the future 💜 (by the way this is the same even before COVID was happening)
Awesome place - get the avocado delight, ka tiem, or potato Curry. Solid sushi as well.
Great food. Happy to support a local Grosse Pointe business.

April 17th we attempted to order. Nobody answered the phone. They should update their website.
The food is excellent and the staff are so nice, I will recommend this place to everyone I can.
Love it!
Great spot for lunch
Basil fried rice, dumplings, tom yum soup and masamun are my favorites
the best pad thai and sushi in town! highly recommend. also everyone is really welcoming.
Had lunch there with my daughter. We both love it. The food is fantastic. And the service is awesome.
I've been going to this restaurant for many years. It's always been inconsistent - sometimes good, sometimes really really salty. Tonight was a whole new experience. When served our food we were overcome with the smell of urine. We didn't say anything because we didn't know if it was our food or someone around us. It ended up being our food. The owner came out and asked us how we were enjoying our food suspiciously. She only came to our table and no one else's. We were too nice to accuse them of peeing in our food so we didn't say anything. But I'll just tell you all here. Our food smelled like URINE!!! A gift card brought us here tonight. But unfortunately we won't be going back again to avoid the inconsistency...and urine.
See-ieu was delicious, and so was the pak fried rice. Crispy rolls were pretty dang good too. Service was friendly and quick. Price was reasonable. Good size portions. Will visit again
Good thai food and good service
This restaurant could use several improvements.
Let's start with the attitude of the waitresses, very rude, short, and condescending! I really should have taken down the name, but I was too furious to do so. I thought it would be better to call in my order to avoid the less than pleasing dining experience, but that proved disastrous as well. No one could recall my order when I came to pick it up. I called several times to speak to
the manager, but either they weren't in,available, etc. I have definitely written this place off until they come under new management and hire professional wait staff!! The carpet looks as though it hadn't been cleaned in ages, either. I hope they can get it together before it's too late!
Amazing Thai place especially for Grosse Pointe
excellent thai meals n delicious sushi, always pleased with service too
Great food.
