Thai restaurant family that has been family owned for 20+ years.
Delightful experience! We were greeted with warmth and smiles. Andrea was an exceptional server, friendly and efficient. We began with an aromatic, delicious cup of jasmine tea. The surprising cup of chicken rice soup set the tone for a fulfilling meal. We both enjoyed our flavorful choices - Pineapple Curry Seafood Melody and Chicken Pad Thai. The portion size was plentiful! We both enjoyed the leftovers at home! 😋
Got to stop into this family-owned Thai restaurant for a photo shoot. Very pleasant and welcoming decor! Even though I came in on business, I was still greeted promptly. All the food dishes came out fresh and looking delicious! If you are in the mood for Thai / Asian, give this wonderful business a shot! Server Rylee and Owner Charna are pretty awesome, too!
Edit: was able to sample the Sweet and Sour entree as well as the Triple Delight and both were very delicious!
Best Thai food for miles! My server, Rylee, was extremely kind and helpful, knowing everything on the menu and recommending the pad Thai. The food was so darn good. I also had the cheese rolls, which were addictive. Very clean atmosphere, too. Will be coming back very soon. 10 out of 10!
My first time there and I give it 5 stars.
The iced Thai tea is the best I've had. It was on the sweeter side; so creamy and sweet.
I had the Mild Sweet and Sour Chicken with white rice and the Chicken Satay with peanut sauce and cucumber sauce. The cucumber sauce was sweet like honey. The chicken was lightly seasoned with curry.
My entree came with rice soup. Very light in flavor with rice and green onion. It's not oily like Chinese won ton soup. Perfect for summer.
My mom had the Seafood Medley minus the imitation crab in light curry cream sauce with white rice.
🌶️You choose the level of spicyness.
It was very clean and the atmosphere was welcoming.
Our server was very knowledgeable about the food and checked on us often. ☺️
We came here for a late lunch. Restaurant was clean, no odd smells. Food came out fast and was exactly what we wanted. We also ordered dessert of the sweet rice and custard- tasty as well. Service was great! Everyone working was so pleasant. We were explained how we could dine in but food would be served with take out containers. We were fine with that! Many businesses are still struggling to find help and I understand that. I would definitely come here again.
All I can say is wow this place is great if you like authentic Thai food. Everything my son and I tried was very good. Service was amazing as well. So to start things off we had the Shrimp rolls, and they were fantastic. You can see there's pride in making the food and it surely shows in the cooking. The cheese rolls were next and I have to say they were perfect. After that the Pad Thai and Curry Fried Rice. Everything was exceptional. I look forward to coming back...
Sometimes, you just want that undefined exotic dish, possibly spicy. This place has it in spades. It's not the cheapest but not overly expensive. It's worth trying out. The atmosphere was very nice, I had some kind of mild+ (almost hot) soup, which blew me away with the flavor profile. (btw, it was hot!) I will definitely eat here again.
My go-to Thai food restaurant in the area. Servers are awesome & so is the food! So much food for the price!!

Excellent Thai food. This is our go-to place. Best in the area
Great food and waitresses was awesome!! Definitely recommend this place.
Disappointed for the second time ordering take-out here.
They just don't get online orders correct.
Cheese rolls were good. Too bad they forgot the plum sauce.
😋

So good, very nice employees!
They have amazing food. I highly recommend the Pad See Ewe. It is so good.
I've been eating at this restaurant for probably close to 20 years. Back when it was just a little place on the corner of Hill and Fenton. Love the food and now will travel a couple hours for it in special occasions.
My only complaint is that the grand blanc one seems to have lost their chef to the Fenton one. The sauces seem to be watered down and less flavorful (pad ped specifically). I wouldn't say they've made an unrecognizable dish, but the flavor, spice level, and thickness of the sauce doesn't compare to the Fenton location.
Not going to stop going but if the Fenton guys could help them out it would be awesome to not drive AS far.
Always good food and the staff is always nice!!
Bangkok peppers is the go-to place for fresh and tasty Thai food. Charlie and his family do a great job running the place. Brittany and the wait staff are very friendly and helpful.
Definitely worth what you pay. Food was very good and you get a lot of it. Easy to get in and out with a wheelchair, with handicapped parking right outside the door.
Food is nasty ! They charge too much for barely any food that barely edible . GO TRY THAI NATION BISTRO ITS WAYYY BETTER THAN THIS
Not terrible, but not great. Pad Thai tasted like they add a lot of sugar to the sauce, much more syrupy than what I'm used to. The noodles were very rubbery and the chicken was spongy.
Service was very friendly but I felt rushed. Only one other table was occupied, so maybe this is more of a take out place.
Put a order in , did not even get what I asked for . Won't be ordering from this place again
Moved back into the area and missed this place so much! Family-owned restaurant with great food, staff and atmosphere.
Loved the curry.
A favorite that has always been fantastic.
Great place and great food.
We ordered take out and found the noodles in the Pad Thai were mushy. The Pad Ped was good. We also ordered the appetizer combo and it was just okay. Nothing was spectacular. And the cost was over $60.
The noodles for the Pad-Thai were soggy. The pork pieces seemed to have been boiled to death and had no flavor. The Pad-Ped seemed more like something out of a La Choy can. The appetizer combo was horrible. We won't be back.
The staff is great!!! The food terrible. Other thai food blows this food out of the water. Very clean place though
Let’s be real - the food is delicious, but the prices are not. I love this place. And I also love Thai places in metro Detroit. $18 for Pad Thai is about a $6 increase from those places I eat in Detroit and the quality matches.
Quiet location every time I’ve gone, and the food is always hot (temperature) and tasty.

Best ever yellow curry noodle, I really enjoyed my time there 6-8 years ago.
I called and told them I had never been there and they offered suggestions. I was very happy with what I got and ended up eating it in-house. My meal, including spring roll were amazing, especially the sauce that they gave you for the spring roll! Totally will be going back to this establishment!
The Thai food is very good. The customer service is good, but the prices are too high. I understand that prices must increase to reflect other costs. I just can't justify paying $48 for take out for two people. I ordered Pad Thai, veggie fried rice and 2 spring rolls and I couldn't believe the total was 48. I really like this place, but unfortunately, my family and I will not be back as often as we would like.
It has been awhile since we've had food from here, but my husband and I have been enjoying it for over 10 years now. We always end up craving it after months have gone by that we haven't gotten take-out. Everything I've had has been good. We especially love the yellow, and red curries with chicken. The yellow curry noodles, drunken noodles, and bangkok noodles are my favorites.
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Their food is always tasty and ingredients fresh. My favorite dish is the Thom Kha soup and the chicken pad Thai.
Okay something to eat
The staff are always so nice here! Def my favorite thai place I've tried in the area. I got drunken noodles once and they were very salty but the pad thai is always great! The cheese rolls are expensive for what they are but sooo good regardless.
The food is good here and I know it's a little more expensive than other Thai food places. However, they charge a 3% fee for using a credit card, charge $3.75 for a pop and when I asked for more mushrooms in lieu of carrots in my dish, they added a dollar. I would also say 5 dumplings, which did not look made in house cost $8.95 which is a joke. There are other Thai food restaurants just as good for much less.
Was great! Food was hot and delicious. Andrea was a great server and took great care to make sure we had a good experience. We have enough food for another meal. Sweet and sour wasn’t listed as a food to recommend, but it was very good.
I will say they are a bit overpriced, but their chicken pad Thai was very good and they do give you a lot of food for one portion. I will be coming back! 🙂
Overpriced and small portion. I ordered stir fry beef broccoli and water chestnut. An order of spring roll only has one spring roll? :0 was expecting more for a $20 rice dish.
Food tasted fine, nothing to write home about :/ If food was phenomenal, I would consider going back. But it was okay at best and overpriced.
I recommend thai express in brighton, family owned thai restaurant, good portion and taste authentic.
Thai Friday!!! Great food and great service. Yellow curry noodles are the way to go.
The only Thai place that will truly make your food spicy as possible upon request. I highly recommend for any REAL spice lovers!
This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. Panang curry is on point with the best I've had across the country.
I ordered the drunken noodles and the sauce was very obviously burned. It smelled scorched and when eating it all I could taste was the burnt sauce. My partners pad Thai came out fine.
Probably one of the best spring rolls ever, and my dinner (yellow curry seafood & rice) was excellent. Super fast service and an orderly clean dining space. Might be back tomorrow!
Best Thai food in Genesse county.
It seems expensive until you realize you get like three meals from it. My God it is so good.
Way overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. Almost $20 for a lunch portion entree. Also, they messed up our order (ordered chicken pad Thai and they put in shrimp). I get mistakes happened and when I called the young girl said she made a mistake and asked if I could come back up and she’d put a rush on it. I drove back up but they wouldn’t give me the meal until I brought back the order they made wrong. They could have told me they wanted it back even after the girl admitted she put the order in wrong. So I had to go back home, get the food, and make a third trip back. They put the inconvenience on the customer instead of just saying sorry, here is the order that you already paid for. I assume they may resell the bad orders they make and have returned, not knowing what people did to the food, or if it came from a home that had Covid or any other illness. We will never go back.
My response to your response: my comment about the lunch portion being $20 was about your dinner portions being the size of an average lunch portion. Also, I did not toss the meal I brought back to the little old lady, I set it down right in front of her. And I was not loud with her, I was speaking so she could hear me because she was speaking over me. Please don’t contradict me on this because your surveillance cameras will confirm that. Also, I was never told to bring the meal back. You can confirm that on your surveillance cameras since they seem to pick up audio.
Always great food! The spring rolls and pad see iew never disappoint!!
Food is great however way too expensive nearly twice as much as a restaurant just down the street.
Ordered the soup 🍲 it was tasteless and very. Overpriced I will not be going back again..... absolutely no taste at all in the chicken soup and was very watery at that!!
Food is good but the price to portion ratio is poor.
$5 for Thai ice tea?! Are you out of your minds? 19.95 for one plate of overly sauced pad se ew. What a freaking rip off. Service sucks. I’ll never go back.
Great Pad Thai
My first time there and I give it 5 stars.
The iced Thai tea is the best I've had. It was on the sweeter side; so creamy and sweet.
I had the Mild Sweet and Sour Chicken with white rice and the Chicken Satay with peanut sauce and cucumber sauce. The cucumber sauce was sweet like honey. The chicken was lightly seasoned with curry.

It was very clean and the atmosphere was welcoming.
Our server was very knowledgeable about the food and checked on us often. ☺️
I ordered through Door Dash and I never got my meal. Okay I have a grudge against them. I tried several times in see if they had brought it back. No one answered. There are many good Thai restaurants around here. You aren’t that great. I will go elsewhere
Excellent food and customer service. Also reasonably priced
Good food
Simply the best
They REALLY raised their prices and charge you for extra sauce! It would have been nice for them to tell me that when I ordered. I will say the food is very good, but it’d be nice to have a focus on the customer.
Ordered their Chicken Pad Tai, medium spice...., AMAZING!!! The portion is HUGE, I'll definitely be eating this tomorrow because there's no way I can finish it all.
Food to watery, service was ok.
Best staff around. Amazing food (got to try the red snapper)
We found a piece of raw chicken in my daughters food, so non of us wanted to eat the food kinda ruined the whole meal. When called at first they said they would give a full refund and that they was sorry! I took food and receipt in they decided to change mind and said they would give us the $12 for the kids meal saying it’s unfair to them to have to refund it…. I gave $10 tip when I asked for that back the brushed it off. They was very rude when I walked in as well and the owner mrs. Sue was as well. Overall very bad experience and will never recommend to anyone!
This is her husband by the way we share account. They was not professional at all of course they are going to say that , Mrs. Sue and I believe the manager wasn’t at all. If you pulled the audio you would have heard stated that we will give you a full refund not just for they kids meal. Also who would want to keep eating the food after they find raw chicken ? Would you ? Also in audio I stated multiple time we ate some of the food before the raw chicken was found then no one wanted to eat anymore after said fact. Also the children’s food wasn’t gone she took half of one and half of the other dumped into one box and said that it was completely gone! Stated in call as well is we did not want to leave bad review and was trying to resolve the situation. Also I did say what about the tip my wife left and it was brushed off. I have no reason to lie I know mistakes are made. It’s the lie about the refund and the unprofessionalism that made me write the review. I don’t know anyone that wouldn’t be upset about spending almost $100 and then getting raw food. There was no understanding besides the realization that I didn’t want to start problems….
Review without the RAW chicken is the food didn’t taste bad but was really salty.
If didn’t have the bad service and raw chicken I would give it a 3⭐️.
But came recommended by family friend for the Fenton location maybe that location is better!
The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were large. I definitely had leftovers to take home, which reheated extremely well and I got to enjoy again. I also highly recommend the Thai Tea, specifically without the milk for more flavor.
Great food, great prices
The food is incredible and the portions are very generous. The waitresses were so polite and friendly! They were very accommodating to my shellfish allergy which I appreciate so much. Wonderful experience and I look forward to eating there again.
The pad Thai was the most like actual pad Thai in Thailand I have had .
First time customer. Ordered the cashew chicken. Amazingly good. Portion was rather large and I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day. Heading back soon.
Never disappointed!
Update from Feb/2023: Back open for normal dining-Thanks! These guys still aren’t doing DINE-IN since COVID. Sad. I used to be a regular weekly guy. They were such a great place to eat. I won’t eat there anymore until I can eat off a plate with a metal fork again and drink out of a glass.
We went for a late lunch around 3 pm on a Friday. The dining room had lots of empty tables but they were doing a steady takeout business. The Tom Kha (coconut) soup was so good, as was the Vegetable Pad Thai and the Tamarind Chicken. We will definitely be back.
The restaurant was cozy. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Food was excellent. Definitely worth a return visit.
Always great food and service!
Spice level sometimes varies, even though I always order the same. But never disappointed. Absolutely love the spring rolls.
Rude management, I’m trying to enjoy a nice lunch and all of a sudden I hear about “Andrea” honey find a new job there not your friends.
My waitress was great tho!
The food is always amazing and this is one of my favorite places to get takeout from.
The food is consistently good. Service was great, lovely waitress.
Best Thai food in the area. Right level of heat and flavor.
Food is great! However over the course of a year the portions have about halved and the prices have gone up. They now charge for credit cards which I don’t see why you can’t just work that into your pricing, it looks more professional.
We have never been here before so we decided to go with staples: Pad Thai and yellow curry dishes. We were beyond disappointed with half of our items.
We know different restaurants put their spin on things but pad Thai chicken had a VERY strange flavor, almost like sour fermented citrus. It honestly tasted like something was rotten in it. We couldn’t even finish it, and I am someone who will eat almost anything put in front of me.
It didn’t taste like pad Thai at all or look like it with a bright red-orange hue (And no, we don’t have Covid).
The Tom Kha soup had tomatoes in it, which was weird. Not bad. But weird. Never seen that before.
What was good? The spring rolls were good. And the yellow curry was also good.
But we were really disappointed that half of our food was not really edible.
I really do hate giving bad reviews. But we will unfortunately not be revisiting.
Going downhill. Used to be able to come here for a reasonable price. Now the portions are cut in half with less meat and filler ingredients like noodles. Cost $56 for 2 meals and 4 spring rolls. I could literally get a nice steak dinner somewhere for that. And on top a credit card fee… at that rate just work it into your pricing. Ridiculous
The food was good and service was good
Very good food. And amazing customer service the lady answering the phone and checking customers out. Was so nice and welcoming we will definitely be returning.
Good food not sure why they weren’t not using plates though maybe it was a staffing issue. Otherwise good experience Zachary is not is
Food is great and service is always friendly!
I usually get the yellow curry noodle lunch. Very easy to order, quick to pick up, and always delicious.
This place has gone down hill dramatically. We have been going here for 6 years and we will never be back.
Prices have gone up significantly and using your card you get a 4% service fee. Be aware!
Amazing food, so good and fresh.
Their Pad Thai is excellent!
Highly disappointed.the noodles for the pan Thai was disgusting, just a mountain of mush.not sure if it was old food or over cooked, but i wasn't able to stomach the soft , pasty texture in my mouth, so I tossed it.what a waste of money. I'm not sure what's going on, but the food is normally good, but I've not been in a year , this was very suprising.i hope it was a fluke, because if this is normal, no thanks
The food was great but the staff was better, nice how they treat customers.
This place is delicious if you have no idea what real Thai food is supposed to taste like.
This has been a favorite of mine for many years. This is some of the best Thai food in the state of Michigan. Eat here and you will not be disappointed!
Portions are plenty and flavor is exquisite.
Great food every time. There isn’t a restaurant like this in Genesee County. Authentic Thai food. Highly recommend.
The food is so gross, I gave this place like three changes and food is just so bad. Anything with tamarind was fine and the Thai tea is delicious but the main course foods aren’t eatable, atleast not for the past year
One of my favorite places for yellow curry in Genesee County. Only giving four stars because they occasionally mess up my order. One time in particular I ordered tofu and got chicken, I didn't have time left on my lunch break to go back and have it corrected. Still, the food is usually very good.
Best yellow chicken curry noodles
The blonde lady at the front desk was so bubbly and nice. She made eating here a great experience
Good food. Thai tea and Tom yum soup chicken.
Delicious, with huge portions enough for lunch tomorrow. Love the almond chicken!
So good!! The lady running the front today was so nice even when she was doing more than one job. Great service and great food!!!
Good.
After moving out of the area, this is probably the place that I miss eating at most. I liked everything I tried here, but their Green Curry was my go to order, but I was a big fan of their Pepper Steak too.
The food and service here are great. I had not been in for some time due to working remotely. I am so glad they are still here.
Last two times I ordered chicken Pad Tai it came with a red sauce instead of the peanut sauce. Not sure if there in new management or owners but the food is not the same. Also my chicken fried rice was total different the all my previous orders. Will not order from this lactation again
A friend took me to Bangkok Peppers years ago and now I stop anytime I am nearly. I've even had friends stop and bring me the drunken chicken when I can't get myself there from the Ann Arbor area.
Delicious every time 😁
Great food.
Delicious!!!!
Family-owned business whose food is delicious
Thai Curry catfish is amazing! Best dish ever get it every time love it! ❤
Where do I start with this place... I can say enough about how great Bangkok Peppers in Grand Blanc is. The appetizer cheese rolls are my favorite and the Tamarind chicken is so delicious!! The staff here work so hard and
the restaurant is very clean. Great place.
Great food, friendly and helpful staff. Just a bit more expensive than other places.
Highly recommend
*These 5 stars are strictly for the food*
I don't think people who've been here truly understand how lucky they are. I've been traveling all over Merica/currently reside in CO. Thai food is my #1 go-to, and I am absolutely crushed to find out not a SINGLE place out here makes thai food as good as Bangkok Peppers. Half the places out here don't even offer red curry, or anything "thai hot." And the spring rolls?! I've given up trying to find a spring roll that comes anywhere close to Bangkok Peppers rolls. My life is a little bit more sad being away from such great american thai food. I've joked about ordering their food and having it shipped out here, because cold/old Bangkok Peppers would still be better than any thai restaurant out here. Now who knows, it might not be such a joke any longer.
As far as the service goes: ***
We are all human. We occasionally make mistakes. We sometimes go to work tired, angry, or stressed. Which is a normal human thing to do! This restaurant is constantly busy (because it's so delicious). So don't come here or any restaurant for that matter, thinking mistakes don't happen. Just eat here and feel lucky that you get to enjoy some of the best american thai food in the country.
A 100% honest review brought to you by me,
Lauren McLeod
Ordered the chicken masuman. About two ounces of chicken (if I am lucky), a lot of onion, a few peppers, and a ton of watery "curry". Might as well be called soup. Wish I could post a picture so you can see what I got. Never again!
I always stop by here when I am driving through . They have the best Thai food for miles. I usually get the Pineapple curry but tried the Panang curry since I found that to be my favorite while I was in Thailand. Their version did not disappoint. It was very good and I have not found a good Panang in Michigan until now. And, their Tom Yum is the best around.
The Dine-in is currently closed but please stop by for carry out. You will be really glad that you did.
The shrimp rolls are always absolutely amazing!! But to DOUBLE the price on each roll is just ridiculous!! These are tough time for everyone not just Businesses Your customers are having your back have your customers also Plz&Ty
I look forward to the food and the leftovers!
Large portions.
Incredible food, great service, worth every penny
Great Thai fried rice w/ pork
Pretty good, and large portions. Not very spicy- the extra spicy was a joke. I'm not a lightweight though.
Delicious food! Great service!!!!
This is my family's favorite restaurant. We love the crab cheese wantons
One of the places I miss the most when I lived in Grand Blanc! The staff is super friendly as always and I LOVE their food! Never been disappointed and their Pad Thai is one of the best I have ever had!
I had the Drunken Noodles and steamed dumplings. My 16mo old stole and devoured a dumpling. Need I say more? Will definitely be back!
Food is sooo good! Our service was also great! She was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, & attentive. Can’t remember her name but we were there for dinner on July 14th.
