Low-key Thai restaurant offering a classic menu, including vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free items.
Not for Asian taste bud, for sure. And, not sure why it has a 4-star rating out of 1k reviewers. Fried rice is just oily and too salty; the chef may not taste a proper fried rice before. The chicken of Pad Thai is mostly uncooked; let alone the taste, very bland. The spring roll is OK. But Hopefully, they can improve the food quality in the future. The cashier is friendly, tho.
Very disappointing experience at Sy Thai Restaurant. The food quality was below average, with dishes lacking flavour and quality. To make matters worse, there were hidden charges on the bill that were never mentioned when ordering. When I asked the staff about it, they mentioned about knowing it but didn’t seem to care much about sharing with me. To me, the service was unprofessional, and it felt like they didn't care about their customers at all. I would recommend everyone to pay attention to what they’re paying for.
This should be a 5 star review. The food here is amazing, and the portions are generous.
That being said, there is almost always something amiss when I try to order delivery here...
1.) Sometimes the spice level is what I would expect, other times it is orders of magnitude higher.
2.) The rice portions are somewhat smaller than I prefer, but I have come to expect this and order extra, which is often forgotten.
3.) The hours of availability for delivery are seemingly random.
Consistency is important. I will order here when it is just for me, but I would not risk it with guests who may not wind up with the sides they order, or be hospitalized because they thought they could handle "Medium" when they didn't realize who was working in the kitchen that day.
Got the Basil chicken fried rice mild and 2 spring rolls. I like the location and quick way to complete service. The rice was very salty they added pieces of chicken, which were bland. The chopped bell pepper chunks could've been cut smaller. The eggroll seemed like it was pulled out the grease then placed in the bag, which left it really oily.
Food was fairly good for the price, reasonable in quality. My food was ready after about 15 minutes, but my partner proceeded to wait an additional 25 minutes after that before their food arrived. The cashier was apologetic, but the vibe while we waited was just a bit strange. I would definitely recommend ordering take out over dining in.
I had an excellent meal that I purchased for takeout! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😋
To be totally honest, I started not to purchase food here when I was having a meeting at a near by business because of some of the bad reviews… but I would just like to say that my meal was excellent and sooo delicious!
Server gave our food away while we waited for their “under staffed” delay.
This would be fine if we hadn’t already paid.
Not good. Excessive wait times.
Need to let people know your not open
, when your google page and website says you are. Unprofessional.
Quality has gone down a lot.
Yusss mahm!! 🙂↔️
The place has gone downhill lately 2 times the order was wrong, and the food was subpar.

I ordered see ewe carrot. I asked for hot pepper oil. She didn't say anything. When I picked it up, I saw dry red peppers . Really? And noodles were hard and no egg. I will never order from them again. Go to bai mai.

I ordered kow pad fried rice with chicken and shrimp. No chicken added and so much grease at the bottom of the bowl. This is the first that I have had this rice and it was so nasty. Had no lunch to eat and 15.00 for nothing. Food is to high not to enjoy what your eating
-5 stars all around.
Place is terribly slow. Waited almost 2 hours since order was put in before I got the food and it wasn’t even that good. At one point there were 15 people in line waiting for food.
Pretty sure they had Chef Boyardee in the back making the Pad Thai.
Great simple lunch place!
The Pad Thai was overly salty. When we requested replacements, they brought back the same salty dishes. Extremely disappointing!
Best Pad Thai I've had.
I got crab:
Rangoon (had feta cheese) - 3/5
Orange chicken- 3/5
Hot and sour soup - 1/5. I had to throw it away after one sip.
I ordered two different things, potato curry w/ tofu, and a vegetable tofu dish. The curry was so salty, and the potatoes were frozen potatoes on top. The tofu, veggie dish was so salty. It was an edible. Both dishes had tofu, and on both dishes, a tofu was fried so hard we couldn’t chew it. We tossed both dishes absolutely not.

Hard pass... Given it a couple tries... Below average for me... Not a fan...

The food is delicious. I had a detailed order. They made it perfectly.
Edit: I will not be coming back again. Got drunken noodles today. Their change in price didn't reflect in the good quality of the dish anymore. First, they changed the type of noodle used for drunken noodles. Second, I ordered it with beef and it tasted like rubbers. Wasted my $13.
Original: I always enjoy my time going to this Go Sy Thai for my lunch whenever I have school. Their peanut sauce stir-fry dish is unbeatable! I recommend them if you need a decent Thai place to grab a quick crunch during your free time.
The vibe is really cool, the food is good but the service is VERY slow. I dined in with my partner, she got her food first. I didn’t get my food until 35 min after hers.
This place used to be so good... I always order the Thai peanut and the last 2 times my order has been messed up. The last time I went the food was sour and overly salty... tasted nothing like the Thai peanut I usually get. I don't know what the sour taste was coming from but it tastes rancid. I don't think I can go back after that, it was nauseating
So bummed! This place use to be so good. Now they give a few small pieces of chicken in the chicken pad Thai, their pricing doubled and it doesn’t taste authentic anymore.

Thai peanut is my favorite.... Well done
Worst pad Thai I’ve ever had - tofu was mealy and awful tasting.
Some of the worst Thai that I have had. I ordered the chicken pad Thai mild and the noodles threw the entire order off. They were overcooked and entirely too mushy. The noodles stuck together and every time i tried to pick them up the fell apart due to them being mushy.
No joke everything on their menu taste like licking a window
Stopped in for dinner today and had a terrible experience. I ordered pad see ew and spring rolls and they sent pad Thai out instead. When I brought it back up and said it wasn’t what I ordered the cashier tried to tell me it’s just called see ew and not pad see ew. It was literally listed on the menu as pad see ew and that’s how I’ve ordered it at every single other Thai place I’ve ever been to. Then my spring rolls were never called out, I finished my meal and went up to ask for a refund on them and she said “oh they did come out” and gave me two cold spring rolls once I was already done with my meal. Awful customer service, I will not be back
The staff is friendly, the atmosphere delightful and the food is always hot & delicious!!!! A must try.
I don’t want to leave a negative review, because I think there’s a chance this could be fixed. I spent $60 here yesterday for 3 entrees and two were inedible, one because it was so spicy (I ordered no spice). When I called back they said they’d replace the entire order for free, and today only the three entrees and none of the sides. This was far too much of a hassle for that amount of money on a single meal. Could someone please reach out? I was feeling happy that the whole ticket was being replaced after that, and disappointed again today.
Loved my order of Gang Gai. The dinner plate was huge and I made two meals out of it. Best value ever for me at a Thai restaurant. Certainly coming back for more.
Love my Kow Pad Rice
This place is so well priced, the food comes out quickly and it is AMAZING. The portions are huge too. I love coming here.
Great Food. They have halal meat.
This place has fallen on hard times. Everything in my Pad Pak was old and probably unedible. I am praying I do not get sick. The lady that took my order sounded annoyed and was short. The place hardly had anyone in there, that's common nowadays. I used to love this place but they are struggling, their hours have changed and you can tell they are really close to shutting down. I don't want that to be the case, it was once a great go to spot. I am praying for them.
Great food
Terrible service
Sat waiting for my food for 15 minutes, 45 minutes after I called it in just to see it was sitting on the counter getting cold
If you’re ordering pickup, keep asking them if it’s ready or you might not ever get it
Simple Thai food, Pad Thai can be a bit bland n dry but I personally like em carbs😂 .. Vegan options too (veggies/tofu)
Great food!
It was the worst Thai food I have ever ate!!! I ask for curry pad rice with chicken and it was awful! It was like having Chinese fried rice with curry chicken mixed in!!! I didn’t think it would be so nasty when I ordered! Don’t ever order curry chicken and any type of rice they have… price was too high for what I ordered… I worked a double shift at my job and so I only at most of it because I was so hungry.
"Go Sy Thai" is a delightful dining experience in Detroit. The restaurant offers a wide range of authentic Thai dishes that are bursting with flavor. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a night out with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Don't miss out on their signature dishes like veggie fried rice. Overall, "Go Sy Thai" is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine in a welcoming setting.
Cute little restaurant, good food!
Best place around Wayne State to feed that thai craving.
I ordered Udon Noodles. But be honest it was so salty not good at all. Their rice is good but not the noodles. I ate 2-3 spoon of noodles and rest of them I had to throe out. Unfortunately, I ordered in Doordash or else I must talked to the front desk.
Sy Rice...the Bomb!! So good!
Good food at a good price.
This place used to be my favorite Thai restaurant in all of michigan unfortunately couple months ago they stopped serving halal chicken I don't know what happened now even the vegetarian options don't really have the same flavor
Delicious drunken noodles! - 6 years ago
Today- We did a group order for 7 people .No taste, uncooked rice, disappointed!!
I waited 50 minutes for carryout after showing up after the estimated pickup time. After the long wait the food was disappointing, I got pad thai with tofu and there was no flavor...almost like there was no sauce at all. Will not be back.
It’s not bad, but I’d hope for more. The food is good (not the worst I’ve had) but the prices here are worse than California and the fact that this is a Thai restaurant that doesn’t serve Thai tea is disappointing. It’s close and sometimes that’s all that matters; perfectly acceptable for a meal but not the whole experience.
This used to be my favorite Thai place. Idk what happened but the food just isn’t good anymore. My go-to is the pad thai w fried tofu. The last few orders have been so disappointing. The food has no flavor, the tofu is very overcooked, and they keep getting my orders wrong. Such a bummer. I miss the old Sy Thai :’(
I really wanted to enjoy the food but it was just not great. I ordered the See Iew noodles and it was incredibly sweet. I asked for it hot but the noodles were so sweet that I couldn’t taste the heat. It wasn’t seasoned well in my opinion. The atmosphere inside is pretty decent but the quality of food was lacking
I have been happier with past experiences of go sy thai. This time we ordered takeout at 4:50 for pickup at 6 on a Tuesday. When i arrived i was told my order was mostly ready but waiting on an order of spring rolls. My order was not ready to go until 6:25. I do not understand how it takes 1 hour and 35 minutes to make 2 spring rolls. The food was mostly good but the tomatoes were mealy and flavorless - awful even for winter tomatoes.
Just ordered again and the tofu basil fried rice was pervaded by an inexplicable foulness. Had to throw it out. The sesame chicken was good and the drunken noodles were just passable. The spring rolls were good and crispy.
Fast service. Great food. Generous portions that were loaded with your meat/seafood choice. Vegan and vegetarian options are available. Medium heat has a powerful, but tolerable kick to it. My friend got their order at "top of the line" hot and there were beads of sweat and veins popping out their forehead! Lol!
Love this restaurant...you will keep coming back for more!
Sy fried rice is so delicious I got beef and shrimp the pineapples compliments the cashews so well it's like so so so so good. Best I've ever had 😋
Typically we get takeout, it's always SO fresh, food is still hot when we get home. Flavors are always fantastic ans perfect heat levels which have been consistent since I've been eating here, which has been years. Big fan!! I love the Panang Curry, the crab cheese, and the pad thai, but every dish has been delicious.
11/10 love this place worth it completely
Noodles were dryer than a mf….. not a lot of flavor either. Kind of disappointed and highly considering disputing this charge with my bank.
Great food not good experience with employees on the front called to order at 8:30 they put me on hold so I decided to walk there because I work right down the street come to see that they were dead slow and the phone was put on hold and purpose not to take orders that is so not acceptable. You get paid to take orders she should be taking orders until last minute.!! Just thought the should know and address this !!
I can't even begin to express my frustration with the agonizing experience I endured at Go Sy Thai during my lunch break. I'm all for enjoying a leisurely meal, but when you're on a time crunch, it becomes a nightmare. I waited for over 45 minutes, which then extended to a ridiculous 3-hour ordeal.
First and foremost, time is a precious commodity during lunch breaks, and Go Sy Thai completely disregarded that. It's as if they think the world revolves around them and their glacial service. This is not a Michelin-star restaurant where you'd gladly wait for a masterpiece – it's supposed to be a quick, convenient spot to grab a bite.
The staff's indifference to the fact that they were causing customers to lose valuable work hours is mind-boggling. Their lackadaisical approach to customer service is infuriating. Even a simple acknowledgment of the delay would have been appreciated, but no, they seemed perfectly content with my wasted afternoon.
I've worked in customer service, and I understand that hiccups can happen. However, the complete lack of any semblance of professionalism or customer care at Go Sy Thai is inexcusable. If I wanted to spend my lunch break in an endless waiting game, I'd have just stayed at the office.
My advice? Stay far away from Go Sy Thai during your lunch break if you value your time and sanity. It's an infuriating experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. There are countless better options out there where you can actually enjoy a meal without feeling like you're being held hostage.
******UPDATE*******
Dear Go Sy Thai Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to sincerely apologize for the harsh review I left on Google following a recent experience with your restaurant. I was frustrated and upset at the time, which in no way justifies my negative comments, and I would like to rectify this.
My impatience got the best of me when my takeout order was delayed, and I let my emotions get the better of me when I posted that review. After some reflection, I realize that it was unfair to lash out in such a manner, especially considering how much I have enjoyed your food and service in the past.
I understand that mistakes can happen, and there may have been unforeseen circumstances that caused the delay in my order. I recognize that your team works hard to provide great food and service to your customers. My frustration should not have been directed at your establishment in such a negative way.
I would like to formally retract my previous review and ask for your forgiveness. I deeply regret the words I used and the damage they may have caused to your reputation. In the future, I will make a conscious effort to address any issues or concerns with your team directly and privately, rather than resorting to public negativity.
Once again, I apologize for my impulsive and thoughtless actions. I hope that you can find it in your hearts to accept my apology and consider me as a valued customer once more. I look forward to continuing to enjoy the wonderful cuisine and service that Go Sy Thai has always provided.
Sincerely,
Been waiting for about 45 mins for our online order. Dont waste your time with this place!
I hate leaving 1 star reviews, but I hate receiving 1 star service and food more. Sala Thai may be the last good Thai standing near downtown because this is not the Go Sy Thai I remember.
Firstly, never order Grubhub from here - my first order was marked as delivered and it definitely wasn't. I didn't get a call or text or anything. Just 'delivered' and no food. So, I had Grubhub do a re-delivery. Takes over an hour. The driver arrived missing one of the entrees and all they could do was refund me. So, since this was an order for a group, I gave up my lunch. I was able to have a couple of spring rolls and tasted the hot and sour soup enough to know it was gross. Bummer.
The Spring rolls should have had chicken and were $8.50 instead of $4.50 for the veggie ones, but I received veggie ones. Boo. They tasted ok dunked in plum sauce, but maybe that's because I had already been waiting an hour and a half to eat. The soup was basically inedible- it had the texture of lumpy gravy. No flavor, no bueno, lots of cornstarch.
We paid $70 + tip for 3 curries, a soup and 2 spring rolls via Grubhub. My friend said the curry was good, but I have my doubts. Never again for me. Sad.
Great food, but I had to wait 1 hour for my meal.
have had the dumplings and sesame chicken and they’re freakin delicious love this place
Super friendly and safe atmosphere. Daija was so kind and made sure to pronounce my siblings name correctly which hardly ever happens. They gave our food so quickly and it was phenomenal. Their spice levels are also accurate and it’s a great place for ppl who actually want spicy food lol. Vegan options are beyond amazing. Great prices too and they offer a 10% student discount! Will def be back love yall
There's no way to reach the restaurant over the phone. In my experience, any restaurant that starts to force all customers order online will see a decline in quality of food and service. It's an indication that ownership/management has stopped caring. Also instead of having your phone number lead to an advertisement that you're hiring - try paying workers a fair wage and you may be able to avoid replacing your customer service with HR advertising.
All Go Sy Thai locations offered halal chicken as a protein option for Muslim customers. However, this location no longer has that option, despite being located in an area with a large Muslim population. This was very disappointing.
It's ok. Its not the best Thai food I've eaten, but its not the worst. Understaffed.
This was our first time trying Thai food and let me say, it was amazing. It's not a traditional sit down and be served restaurant. My partner and I sat down inside at a bench facing Cass Ave. I had Pad Pak, mild with chicken and shrimp. My partner had Thai Peanut, medium with chicken and shrimp. Both came with white rice. Both dishes were very tasty and they give big portions. I only have a picture of the Thai Peanut dish.
I used to frequent this place because of the food and service. This was my 1st time back since COVID restrictions were loosened. Gtanted, it's been over 1.5 years, but I was hoping the same pre-Covid quality and service,
In my humble opinion, the service was sub-par and lacked personnel that could give you insights on the menu options. The person who took my order acted in a way that I should've known what to order in advance, nor did she make any recommendations. She only asked, "Are you ready to order?" Because of this, I did order a fied rice option, which was heavy on the curry seasoning. Also, they charged 75 cents for an extra dipping sauce for my spring rolls.
Unfortunately, this used to be one of my favorite places to grab Thai food. Considering my experience today, I will search for other Detroit area Thai restaurants.
The food is superior. IF, IF you can get anyone to answer phone. There is a recording giving some info but it is garbled and cannot understand. I hate this place now. They have put me thru hell trying to phone order. Finally said forget it!!!!!
We love the food here , it's our go to when we want take out in midtown
I’ve always loved the Pad Thai from here but the hot and sour soup is the best I’ve ever had. It is loaded with all the ingredients not just a bowl of broth with a few things. Every spoonful will be full of delishishness! I always come here when I have to come to Detroit for work. I get pad Thai sometimes but always get a few hot and sour soups. It very filling by itself.
Wanted to try here but they canceled my order after I waited almost an hour. Just I won't be getting food before I go into work.
This remarkable eatery not only serves the most exceptional Chicken Drunken Noodles and Chicken Fried Rice, but it holds a special place in my heart as the first restaurant I experienced upon moving to Great Lake State.
This Thai eatery truly knows how to craft outstanding dishes, particularly their heavenly Chicken Drunken Noodles and tantalizing Chicken Fried Rice.
Let's start with the star of the show—the Chicken Drunken Noodles. The wide rice noodles were flawlessly cooked, maintaining their perfect chewiness. The tender chicken slices mingled harmoniously with an assortment of vibrant vegetables, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. The aromatic Thai basil, combined with a delightful spicy kick, elevated this dish to an entirely new level of deliciousness. Each mouthwatering bite left me craving more, a true testament to the mastery of flavors in this Thai delicacy.
Equally impressive was their Chicken Fried Rice. Fragrant rice was expertly stir-fried with chunks of chicken, a medley of fresh vegetables. The combination of textures and flavors was simply divine, as the savory soy sauce and subtle smokiness from the wok enhanced the dish's allure. Every forkful was a burst of umami goodness, leaving me utterly satisfied.
The overall dining experience at Go Sy Thai was top-notch. The trendy ambiance and friendly staff added to the restaurant's charm, creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
In conclusion, this place is a paradise for Thai cuisine lovers, and their Chicken Drunken Noodles and Chicken Fried Rice are true marvels. If you're seeking an unforgettable flavor adventure, this is the place to be. Prepare to be blown away by the exceptional taste, creativity, and authenticity that delivers with every dish.
Staff was amazing. It was super hot- no AC so beware. The kitchen means it’s hotter inside than outside (where today it was already 90)
They were out of crab Rangoon and the shrimp dinner portion I got was huge but I mentioned how I wanted it to be oyster sauce based and I got a very coconut curry esque dish which, while it was good but just not my own taste. I’d come again to share a dinner entree- they do give a lot of food and protein!
Great food, healthy portions and fair prices. Also very quick turnaround on pick up orders
I used to live in midtown and frequented this location since it opened 10 years ago. I decided to stop in today and wish I hadn't. I ordered chicken pad Thai carryout and discovered when I got home that it was really lacking tamarind sauce. I called to tell the restaurant and was told that I had to bring the food back in and they would remake it for "free", as if I hadn't already paid for it. The young lady I spoke with was super nice, but I was annoyed that I had to make a 15 minute trip back up there. That's on me, I should've checked. When I walked in I could tell I was being talked about by the manager and he spoke about my order like I was inconveniencing him by being unhappy with dry, bland, pad thai. He never apologized for the inconvenience or offer me a drink or anything, and he had a young lady come take my returned food from me. Not a big deal, i didn't want it, but I've never heard of places taking food back for sanitary reasons. The cashier who took my order was very apologetic. I wish I had just asked for a refund because the remake wasn't much better. Sadly, I'll never go back to this location. It left a bad taste in my mouth.
I went to this place almost weekly when I went to school at Wayne state. I returned there today and I was so very disappointed. The food quality was not the same. They use breaded chicken for the fried rice which was not how they did it before. The seasoning was off. Once I got home I was a little upset with how my nostalgia was ruined, but it got worse once I realized this food gave me FOOD POISONING! I am having the worst symptoms ever and I regret going there at all. It’s crazy how much they changed for this place. I wish there was an option to give 0 stars.
I haven't visited in a while...and griswold is closed. I order pad that with chicken and tofu. It's god awful and flavorless. This used to be my go to spot after class/work. My delivery driver from grub hub was awesome.
Great food, quick service, and the staff was great. They also had the spice when asked.
Go to place for lunch for me once a week. Food is always great. Several options to try out. Pad Thai, Karee Noodles are my top favorites. This is a self-service restaurant and hence expectations from service should not be high. Basic set up for sit-down and not a place that can accommodate big groups. Have struggled with time for the order to come out in recent times as the place gets very busy during lunch time (which is an indication of food quality).
Horrible this don't even taste like chicken and the rice was super dry I see why they don't have many hours of operation because depending on who's cooking there's a 50% chance of your food not tasting like it's supposed to and have the nerve to go up on prices ... Horrible service
Loved the atmospheric, food was fresh, hot, and delicious.
normally not one to write a bad review. this place is a waste of money. i keep trying it in hopes it’s good.. the last three times there has a 30 min wait on the food— which isn’t a problem, if the food is actually good. i just get chicken pad thai and it always comes out as a large to go container of noodles. that’s all, there is no flavor/sauce whatsoever. so disappointed, i’m literally eating just noodles 😅
Tasty food
Great food. Will go back
Wow great food. Awesome price
Food is consistently good but expect to wait for awhile if you don't order ahead and want to eat at the restaurant. Take out is clearly the bulk of the business.
The Drunken Noodles was super salty and my Panang was mistakenly replaced with Potato Curry which lacked the real Thai flavor. First and last time to order from there. Service was good though but that alone didn't cut it for the real dining experience. I know my Thai food. This wasn't it.
Food is only good to people who have never had Thai food and people fresh out of prison.
The food is good but it takes FOREVERRRRRR to get your food. Whether you call ahead, our take out at the window, or sit down to eat expect a very long wait. People queueing up make it difficult to sit at the bar top and sometimes spill over into the sitting area. Enjoy when you have time - like, at least an hour - to kill at the restaurant if you are dining in.
I really like the Sy's Fried Rice but everything else that I have tried from there is kind of meh.
Large portions of food for the dinner dishes . I recommend the orange chicken 🐔
Not good any more! No more Von Sen noodles. Griswold Street location is listed on website but is closed. Go down the street to Shangri-La and get great Cantonese food!
I called in my order at 11:20 and was told my order would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I waited until well after the cook time to pick it up but it was not ready. I did not receive my order until 12:40. When I spoke with the manager his response was, well it was busy. I explained I was told 20-25 minutes. He said that’s just an estimate. I said it shouldn’t have been 4 times the estimated wait time. He said there was nothing he could do about the wait times. When I ate my food, my entree was cold but the spring roll was hot. I frequently ate here but never again. Don’t waste your time like they wasted mine!!!!
Everyone was very nice food was delicious will definitely be back next time I'm in town
Good lunch. Big portions and tasty.
The quality of the food has changed immensely. Not as tasty as it used to be. Not sure if ownership or management has changed. But the food quality has changed.
Food and service was excellent
Great food, you wont be disappointed
I ordered pad, Thai, and it did not taste anything like pad Thai. I let my friends try it, and they agreed.. it was definitely not what I ordered. The flavor was pretty bland too, so I didn’t even eat all of it. Probably won’t come here again. Spent too much money for a dish that was mediocre at best. I hope you have a better experience than me.
Very delicious 😋
I ordered late and they made my food and offered me something extra. This is what a first time experience should be like. They were all awesome even when they were closing soon. Great job guys!
The curry dishes are super good.
This black girl sat her behind on that stool and talked on the phone without acknowledging I was standing there for 7 minutes. It's always those silly young people that need customer care classes.
The atmosphere of this place is amazing. The food is pretty good and the portion sizes are huge. My roommate and I had enough leftovers for two additional meals! Staff was super friendly and they offered a student discount. Tou & Mai (bubble tea shop) is also connected to the restaurant so I usually place my order then get some bubble tea while I wait. Overall, convenient location and great food!
i had a rating of 1 in the past beause of the food and soup being very salty but a friend of mine told me to give them a try again and i did and now i give them a 5* soup is very good and vegetable curry was very tasty .
Food was fast and gooood!
Always great quality, the Noodle Curry is a go to for us.
Food was pretty good. Sizeable portions for the price, and they don't take too long to make the food.
Excellent food! They are usually crowded so you will have to wait. However, the food is worth the wait. When a place is often crowded, that says something about the food.
go-to! very reliable, great flavors
Good food and absolutely massive dinner portions for dining in.
Go Sy Thai is my “go to” Thai place in Detroit. Fast, consistent, easy and decent pricing for portion sizes. Check out their multiple locations!
Oh wow so I don't no what's going on but if the recipe has changed just put it back and leave it alone. Now it just taste plane with no flavor I need all to get it together boo cause I miss what need not to be changed.
Fast, convenient and affordable food! I love that you can choose the level of heat/spice you want with the food.
Great taste, great portion (I order one large plate and eat 4 meals), great price. I love Sy Thai located in Troy, but the overall portion, taste, price is uncompareable. Meaning that Go Sy Thai is SO MUCH BETTER
Used to enjoy this restaurant a lot but the food quality is now very bad and it is very expensive.
Stopped here for some dinner before attending a show at the majestic. And I was so happy we did! No wait to order, food came out quick, staff was friendly, and it was fresh flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be back for more💖
Ordered 2 kow pad and cashier kept saying pad pat or something so I corrected her twice and somehow they gave me one kow pad and one random dish that was disgusting. Called and they said they can’t refund unless I drive 30 mins back to their location :/ horrible service
I ordered carry out drunken noodle. Got home and there’s zero sauce. Just plain noodles. I called to ask about this and before I could even say “hi” was immediately told “please hold”. After several minutes of waiting I finally hung up. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant.
Fresh friendly consistent.
Great food if you are a fan of Thai food
Love the crispy rolls 😋 delicious. The food is excellent for the price with fast service.
